The paper aims to analyze how were meant and resignified, gender identities and sexualities in the municipal Padre Simão Fileto, in the city of Cubati-PB, from 1970s to today. Therefore, the research was conducted with school subjects (teachers, principals, school secretaries and education, students). Starting with their life stories, told through recorded oral interviews anddigitized texts written, I do an exercise of (de)construction of discursive conceptions, experienced in their bodies and in others, that give life to school. In this sense, there was an effort to show that categories like gender, body and sexuality change over time, thus modifying the new mappings and pedagogical school. So, I question how the school became an institution that marks the silence, discipline and devices on sexualities. Becoming distant subjects that (de)form. Theoretically dialogued with Michel Foucault, to think the "order of discourse" and sexualities, adding several theoretical contributions, which comprise studies on gender and sexuality, especially Judith Butler and Guacira Lopes Louro. Besides I borrow concepts as deconstruction, the prospect of Derrida and designing control Deleuze and bioascese Franciso Ortega society. It refers to transition from the society of discipline and control, or bioascese proposed by Deleuze and Ortega. Therefore, this study is a transition that involves the subject of soul and body, in which the mo(ve)ment takes care of itself over the territory panoptism look out. What regiments notions of gender, body, sexuality and identity, which has been sharply problematized in the "performance" society. In which the body is moving and plural. It is demonstrating the urgency of a reconfiguration of the school environment, as well as their pedagogical practices.

: A rhetorical study of the feminist equality campaign SheForheNilsson Persson, Cajsa January 2017 (has links)
All around society, examples are found for how the debate for equality is being rhetorised, giving various suggestions for how the struggle should, or may, be fought, as well as suggestions for who and whom should be included within the term equality. Here a study is presented on the feminst equality campaign SheForHe and the debate article ”Men can – but you need our help”, in which a critique of malevolent norms of masculinity encourages women to free the man from the chains of patriarchy. The purpose is to investigate how, within the perspective of rhetorics, the article can be seen as to challenge the present discourse in the debate about equality through the following questions: Which motives are being constructed? Which rhetorical strategies are at play? Which ”men” and which ”women” as well as their internal relations are constructed? This is done based on Kenneth Burke’s theories on dramatism and the pentad as method of analysis for change of perspectives, as well as Karlyn Khors Campbell’s theories on the rhetoric of women’s liberation. The analysis is discussed drawing from Judith Butler’s terms performativity and the heterosexual matrix. The main conclusion is that the article can be seen as a rhetorical action in solidarity that through a societal critique aims to offer men new possibilties of identification. At the same time the article can be regarded as, within the scope of the equality debate, a rhetorical provocation that gives women actorship in the struggle for equality and highlights a male dominance within the debate. A further conclusion is that the article, although it may be viewed as an important act of resistance, is at risk of reproducing the view of ”men” and ”women” as homogenous collective identities, further constituting the gender system and contributing to the consolidation of a learned mandatory heterosexuality.

Religion Drag: The Relevance of “Critical Religion” and Queer Theory to Canadian Law and Religious FreedomDesmarais, Gabrielle January 2014 (has links)
This dissertation analyses the use of the word “religion” in Canadian law and theorises the consequences of its use for the legal protection of religious movements in Canada. Chapter One establishes the problems of the word “religion” in academic discourse by providing an overview of work in the field of critical religion. This dissertation considers whether the critiques of the term “religion” by scholars working within critical religion are equally relevant when considering the role of religion in human rights law. Chapter Two turns an investigative eye toward Canadian case law using the word “religion”, from Chaput v Romain (1959) to Alberta v Hutterian Brethren of Wilson Colony (2009). The analysis highlights how the use of “religion” in Canadian law does indeed reflect academic concerns. Chapter Three uses queer theory to speculate the consequences of an unstable concept of religion for the protection of religious freedom, especially as it pertains to new religious movements. Judith Butler’s notions of performativity and drag are applied to theorise the performance of “religion” and its outcomes. Some suggestions for how to proceed conclude the dissertation.

PerformativitätSchmidt, Melanie 25 April 2017 (has links)

MaskeradeBremerich, Stephanie 25 April 2017 (has links)

PansexualitätSchütze, Lea 25 April 2017 (has links)

KörperSchmincke, Imke 15 August 2018 (has links)
