Entre réinformation et complotisme : analyse des formes alèthurgiques et médiatiques des discours d’Alexis Cossette-Trudel en période d’incertitude pandémiqueGuindon, Maude 08 1900 (has links)
La méconnaissance du virus SARS-CoV-2 et une communication publique déficiente ont contribué à alimenter l’incertitude radicale depuis le début de la pandémie. Cette conjoncture est propice au déferlement de contre-discours dits « complotistes » dans les arènes numériques, théorisées ici en tant que « forums hybrides » (Callon, Lascoumes et Barthe, 2001). Les institutions publiques et médiatiques, en ostracisant ce contre-public et en privilégiant une approche épistémologique qui consiste à débusquer les informations problématiques qui circulent, échouent à comprendre la préférence d’une frange somme toute assez importante de la population pour les vérités dites « alternatives », relayées par des leaders éloquents et persuasifs, au détriment des preuves scientifiques.
Alexis Cossette-Trudel, figure de proue du mouvement complotiste au Québec et en Europe francophone, propage sa « réinformation » sur les réseaux sociaux depuis 2017 et prétend dire vrai. D’abord peu populaire, la pandémie de COVID-19 l’a propulsé au « sommet ». Il est devenu le maître à penser de milliers de gens fâchés; des personnes qui le croient et qui se méfient des discours officiels, mettant ainsi la santé publique en péril. On est alors à même de se demander comment il y parvient.
En analysant les formes médiatiques et alèthurgiques de son discours (à partir des modes de véridiction de Michel Foucault), l’intuition qui est explorée dans ce mémoire – et qui tend à se confirmer – est que le contexte d’incertitude pandémique offre à Cossette-Trudel les conditions de possibilité et de médialité qui, étroitement interreliées, lui permettent de poser et maintenir son ascendant au sein de son forum hybride ad hoc, témoignant du retour d’une (mauvaise) parrêsia politique. / The lack of knowledge about the SARS-CoV-2 virus and poor public communication have contributed to the radical uncertainty that has existed since the beginning of the pandemic. This situation is favorable to the outpouring of so-called conspiracy counter-discourses in digital arenas, theorized here as “hybrid forums” (Callon, Lascoumes and Barthe, 2001). Public and media institutions, by ostracizing this counter-public and by privileging an epistemological approach that consists of debunking problematic information that circulates, fail to understand the preference of a rather large fringe of the population for so-called “alternative” truths, relayed by eloquent and persuasive leaders, to the detriment of scientific evidence.
Alexis Cossette-Trudel, a leading figure in the conspiracy movement in Quebec and French-speaking Europe, has been spreading his “reinformation” on social networks since 2017 and claims to be telling the truth. Initially not very popular, the COVID-19 pandemic has propelled him to the “top”. He has become the thought leader for thousands of angry people; people who believe him and distrust the official discourse, thus putting public health at risk. We can then ask ourselves how he achieves this.
By analyzing the media and alethurgic forms of his discourse (based on Michel Foucault's modes of veridiction), the intuition that is explored in this memoir – and which tends to be confirmed – is that the context of pandemic uncertainty offers Cossette-Trudel the conditions of possibility and mediality which, closely interrelated, allow him to establish and maintain his ascendancy within his ad hoc hybrid forum, testifying to the return of a (bad) political parrêsia.

Évaluation de l’efficacité du programme The Family Game sur les stratégies parentales positives auprès de parents présentant une déficience intellectuelleTremblay, Joany 04 1900 (has links)
Contrairement aux parents de la population générale, ceux présentant une déficience intellectuelle (DI) sont plus à risque d’être référés à la protection de la jeunesse, ainsi que de perdre la garde de leur enfant. Malgré que plusieurs programmes d’intervention parentale soient disponibles pour soutenir les parents, la plupart ne sont pas adaptés au fonctionnement d’apprentissage des personnes présentant une DI. Le programme The Family Game est un outil conçu spécifiquement pour les parents présentant une DI dans le but d’enseigner des stratégies parentales positives et d’augmenter la coopération de l’enfant. Sous forme de jeu, le programme enseigne trois stratégies parentales : a) donner des consignes claires, b) renforcer les comportements coopératifs et c) corriger les comportements inappropriés de l’enfant. Une première étude expérimentale a évalué le programme The Family Game auprès de deux mères présentant une DI et ayant un enfant âgé de 10 et 14 ans (Tahir et al., 2015). Les résultats suggèrent une amélioration des stratégies parentales enseignées chez les mères et des résultats variables quant à la généralisation des apprentissages. Dans cette perspective, d’autres études expérimentales sont nécessaires afin de mesurer les effets de ce programme.
Ce projet de mémoire visait à évaluer l’efficacité du programme The Family Game sur les stratégies parentales positives auprès de parents présentant une DI. Un couple de parents présentant une DI légère et une DI moyenne et ayant un enfant âgé de 3 ans ont complété l’étude. Un protocole à niveaux de base multiples en fonction des stratégies parentales à enseigner a été utilisé pour évaluer les effets du programme. Les résultats de cette étude sont similaires aux résultats de la recherche menée par Tahir et al. (2015). Ils indiquent une amélioration de l’utilisation des trois stratégies parentales chez le couple et un maintien des apprentissages un mois après le programme. La généralisation des apprentissages était toutefois variable chez les deux parents. En somme, le programme The Family Game montre des résultats encourageants auprès des parents présentant une DI. Cependant, des stratégies supplémentaires, comme la rétroaction par vidéo, devraient être intégrées au programme afin de favoriser la généralisation des apprentissages. / Unlike parents in the general population, parents with an intellectual disability (ID) are more at risk of being referred to youth protection as well as losing custody of their child. Although several parental intervention programs are available to support parents, most are not adapted to the learning functioning of individuals with ID. The Family Game is a training program designed specifically for parents with ID for improving the cooperation of the child by teaching positive behavior management strategies. The program uses a board game format to teach three parenting strategies: a) providing clear instructions, b) reinforcing cooperative behaviors, and c) correcting inappropriate behaviors. A first experimental study evaluated The Family Game program with two mothers with ID and children aged 10 and 14 (Tahir et al., 2015). The results suggest an improvement in the parenting strategies taught and variable results regarding the generalization of learning. Thus, further experimental studies are needed to measure the effects of this program.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of The Family Game program on positive parenting strategies of parents with an ID. A couple of parents with mild and moderate ID with a 3-year-old child participated in the study. A multiple baseline design across skills was used to assess program effects. The results of the study are similar to those reported by Tahir et al. (2015). We observed improvements in the use of the three parenting strategies by the father and the mother as well as maintenance of learning one month after the program. However, the generalization of learning remained variable for both parents. In sum, The Family Game program shows promising results with parents with ID. However, additional strategies, such as video feedback, should be integrated into the program to support generalization.

Problematisk skolfrånvaro är ett omfattande problem som kan få sociala, emotionella och kunskapsmässiga konsekvenser för barn och ungdomar. Forskning visar att multimodala interventioner är effektiva i att öka skolnärvaro, vilka programstrategier inom interventionerna som fungerar i vilka kontexter saknas däremot kunskap om. En realistisk översikt genomfördes därför i syfte att undersöka vilka orsaker till problematisk skolfrånvaro som går att identifiera i tidigare forskning. Vidare var syftet att öka förståelsen för multimodala interventioner genom att specificera vilka programstrategier som leder till ökad skolnärvaro inom vilka kontexter. Efter en systematisk sökprocess inkluderades totalt 124 vetenskapliga artiklar. Resultatet av den realistiska analysen visade att trygghet, attityd, känsloreglering, social kompetens, motivation, föräldraförmåga, föräldrars föreställningar, kommunikation, tillit, familjedynamik, relationen mellan elev och lärare, skolklimat, skolorganisering, normativa föreställningar samt jämlikhet kan generera skolfrånvaro i särskilda kontexter. Inom de multimodala interventionerna identifierades åtta programstrategier som visat sig öka skolnärvaro i vissa kontexter. Mest empiriskt underlag förelåg för de strategier som arbetade med föräldra-förmågan och kommunikationen i elevens omgivning. Resultatet analyserades med hjälp av behavioristisk teori om operant betingning och systemteori. Översiktens slutsatser kan öka förståelsen för orsaker till skolfrånvaro och vägleda yrkesverksamma i vilka programstrategier som bör implementeras under vilka omständigheter. / Problematic school absenteeism is a comprehensive problem associated with social, emotional and cognitive consequences for children and adolescents. Research shows that multimodal interventions are effective in increasing attendance. However, there is a need to refine the contexts in which multimodal interventions are effective. Therefore, a realistic review was carried out in order to identify the causes underlying problematic school absenteeism in previous research. Furthermore, the purpose was to increase the understanding of multimodal interventions by specifying which program strategies lead to increased school attendance in which contexts. Following a systematic search process, a total of 124 articles were included. The results showed that security, attitude, emotion regulation, social skills, motivation, parent self-efficacy, parental beliefs, communication, trust, family dynamics, student-teacher relationship, school climate, school organization, normative ideas and equality can generate school absenteeism in specific contexts. Eight program strategies that generated attendance in different contexts were identified within the multimodal interventions. Most empirical support were found for the strategies related to parent self-efficacy and communication. The result was analyzed using behavioral and systems theory. The conclusions can advance the understanding of causes to absenteeism and guide professionals regarding which program strategies should be implemented under which circumstances.

I denna studie undersöks yrkesverksamma inom skola och socialtjänst perspektiv på problematisk skolfrånvaro ifrån yrkesverksamma inom skola och socialtjänst. Studien är en kvalitativ semistrukturerad intervjustudie där nio intervjuer genomförts och inkluderade tio deltagare. Intervjumaterialet har analyserats utifrån ekologisk systemteori och symbolisk interaktionism. Resultatet från studien visade på att problematisk skolfrånvaro ansågs uppstå av flera olika anledningar och att det inte är eleven som enbart är problemet utan att det är också samhället som brister när problematisk skolfrånvaro uppstår. Problematisk skolfrånvaro beskrivs som ett samlingsbegrepp för att elever inte är i skolan av olika anledningar eller inte hänger med i studierna. De insatser som studiens deltagare uppfattade vara mest effektiva mot problematisk skolfrånvaro var att kartlägga barnets situation, skapa en relation till barnet vårdnadshavare för att kunna ge rätt stöd och att personal gör sällskap med barnet till skolan. / This study explores problematic school absence through the perspectives of professionals from schools and social services. It is a qualitative semi-structured interview study involving nine interviews with ten participants. The interview material was analyzed through ecological systems theory and symbolic interactionism. The study indicates that problematic school absence is attributed to a variety of reasons and that the problem lies not solely with the pupils but also with society when problematic school absence occurs. Problematic school absence is described as an umbrella term for pupils not being in school for various reasons or not keeping up with their studies. The interventions perceived as most effective by the professionals interviewed were to map the child's situation, build a relationship with the child to provide the right support, and for staff to accompany the child to school.

Une maladie est considérée comme étant rare si elle touche moins d’une personne sur 2000. Étant donné les connaissances limitées sur ces conditions médicales, les adultes atteints de maladies rares peinent à être diagnostiqués rapidement et à obtenir des traitements appropriés. Ces soins inadéquats leur occasionnent des difficultés importantes dans le milieu de la santé, leurs vies quotidiennes, leurs relations interpersonnelles ainsi que leurs carrières et leurs études. Plusieurs de ces difficultés peuvent être qualifiées de situations moralement problématiques selon l’éthique pragmatiste. L’éthique pragmatiste est une théorie en éthique qui reconnaît la place centrale de la moralité dans la vie humaine. Elle souligne l’importance existentielle de ces situations pour les personnes qui les vivent. Elle apprécie leur agentivité. Elle leur offre des outils pour mieux comprendre ces situations et les résoudre.
Malgré la signification qu’ont ces situations pour les personnes qui les vivent, elles n’ont pas été étudiées précédemment. En parallèle, le concept de situation moralement problématique a seulement été décrit superficiellement dans la littérature. Pour répondre à ces lacunes dans la littérature, le projet de recherche décrit dans cette thèse avait quatre objectifs : (1) identifier des situations moralement problématiques vécues par les adultes atteints de maladies rares; (2) approfondir les situations moralement problématiques les plus significatives vécues par les adultes québécois atteints de maladies rares; (3) proposer un plan d’action de nature éthique qui soutient la résolution des trois situations moralement problématiques les plus significatives vécues par les adultes atteints de maladies rares; et (4) enrichir le concept de situation moralement problématique en précisant ses composantes.
Pour répondre à ces objectifs, nous avons entrepris un projet de recherche-action participative compris d’étapes de recherche qualitatives. Nous avons formé le Groupe de travail sur l’éthique et les maladies rares pour nous appuyer dans la mise en œuvre du projet. Le groupe de travail était constitué de trois personnes atteintes de maladies rares, deux cliniciens-chercheurs, une représentante d’une association de patients, une assistante de recherche et un éthicien. Les étapes de recherche du projet étaient une revue de littérature, une collecte de témoignages sous la forme d’un sondage en ligne et le développement d’un plan d’action de nature éthique. Les membres du groupe de travail ont contribué au développement de ces étapes, à l’interprétation des résultats et à la rédaction des chapitres de résultats qui en découlent.
Ces étapes de recherche révèlent que les adultes atteints de maladies rares vivent des situations moralement problématiques dans le milieu de la santé, la vie quotidienne, la carrière et les études ainsi que dans les interactions sociales et les relations interpersonnelles. Ces situations sont moralement problématiques parce qu’elles engendrent des tensions internes chez les personnes qui les vivent, contraignent leur agentivité et à l’occasion, les incitent à mobiliser des stratégies d’autonomisation pour les surmonter. Ces situations ont des causes et des répercussions affectives, elles évoluent et elles ont des impacts négatifs et positifs. Dans notre plan d’action de nature éthique, nous présentons des interventions prometteuses qui pourraient limiter l’émergence de ces situations dans le milieu de la santé. / A disease is considered rare if its prevalence is less than 1 in 2,000 people. Given the limited knowledge about these medical conditions, adults living with rare diseases struggle to be promptly diagnosed and receive appropriate treatment. This inadequacy in care causes them significant difficulties in the healthcare environment, their daily lives, their interpersonal relationships, and their careers and studies. Many of these difficulties can be qualified as morally problematic situations according to pragmatist ethics. Pragmatist ethics is a theory in ethics that recognizes the centrality of morality in human life. This theory underlines the existential importance of these situations for the people who experience them. It also appreciates their agency. Thus, it provides them with tools to better understand these situations and resolve them.
Despite the significance that these situations have for those who experience them, they have not been studied previously. Moreover, the concept of the morally problematic situation has only been superficially described in the literature. To address these gaps in the literature, the research project described in this dissertation had four objectives: (1) to identify morally problematic situations experienced by adults living with rare diseases; (2) to understand in greater depth the most significant morally problematic situations experienced by adults living with rare diseases in the province of Québec; (3) to propose an ethics action plan that supports the resolution of the three most significant morally problematic situations experienced by adults living with rare diseases; and (4) to enrich the concept of the morally problematic situation by specifying its components.
To meet these objectives, we undertook a participatory action research project that included qualitative research steps. We created the Ethics and Rare Diseases Working Group to support us in carrying out the project. The working group was made up of three individuals living with rare diseases, two clinician researchers, a representative of a patient association, a research assistant and an ethicist. The research stages of the project were a literature review, collecting testimonies through an online survey and the development of an ethics action plan. The members of the working group notably contributed to the development of these stages, the interpretation of the results, and the drafting of the chapters reporting these results.
Our research reveals that adults with rare diseases experience morally problematic situations in the health environment, daily life, career and studies, and in social interactions and interpersonal relationships. These situations are morally problematic because they elicit internal tensions within the people who experience them, constrain their agency and, on occasion, prompt them to mobilize empowerment strategies to overcome them. These situations have causes and emotional repercussions, they evolve, and they have negative and positive impacts. In our ethical action plan, we present promising interventions that could limit the emergence of these situations in the health sector.

This thesis deals with uniform maths entrance examination for secondary school studies in education fields with a graduate exam. Thus, all primary school pupils applying for this form of secondary education will take the same tests prepared by Centre for Results in Education. The work includes an analysis of pupil's solutions of selected problematic tasks. A significant proportion of the tested pupils were found to have difficulties in dealing with the selected tasks. The last part of the work contains a collection of tasks that was created on the bases of the results obtained when testing pupils.

Dès son apparition, l’écriture romanesque a subi de nombreux changements aussi bien au niveau de la forme que du fond, mais l’écriture romanesque s’est trouvée face à une nouvelle dimension au vingtième siècle du fait du progrès des sciences et des technologies qui ont apporté notamment le cinéma. L’influence des techniques cinématographiques sur l’écriture et la collaboration des Nouveaux Romanciers – nous pensons notamment à Alain Robbe-Grillet et Marguerite Duras, Houshang Golshiri ou encore à des cinéastes français et iraniens comme Alain Resnais et Bahman Farmânâra – ont mené à la naissance d’une écriture transmodale et à celle de textes hybrides qui représentent des caractéristiques des récits à la fois littéraires et cinématographiques. Ainsi, nous pourrions confirmer la théorie avançant que le cinéma est l’écriture de demain, adaptée aux besoins de l’homme moderne entré dans l’Ère de soupçon. Ainsi, cette écriture partant du point de vue du personnage et rendant de ce fait toute structure spatio-temporelle brouillée – en particulier dans l’œuvre de Farmânâra – permet un rapprochement structural entre les scénarios et le Nouveau Roman, permettant alors de peindre une nouvelle image de l’homme égaré dans une société problématique, celle de notre époque. / Since its birth, novel writing has gone through many changes, not only in its shape but also in its content. In the twentieth century, novel writing and especially cinema evolved impressively due to the technological and scientific progress. The influence of cinematographic techniques on the writing and the collaboration with the New Novelists - such as Alain Robbe-Grillet and Marguerite Duras, Houshang Golshiri, and French and Iranian filmmakers such as Alain Resnais and Bahman Farmânâra - led to the creation of a trans modal writing and to the appearance of hybrid texts that both include characteristics of literary and cinematographic narratives. We must accept the theory that cinema is the writing of tomorrow and that the modern man is facing the Era of suspicion. Nevertheless, this kind of writing illustrates a structural similarity particularly between the work of Farmânâra and the New Roman scenarios, especially from the point of view of the character. As a result, we have a scrambled structure in the space and in the time dimension. This study investigates the restructuring and alignment processes within the Gauteng Department of Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation. The nature of the study was neither inclusive nor an exclusive study accommodate every input of the sub-directorate, and review the staff capacity to meet with set objectives of the Department. It also investigates some of the problematic areas shortsighted by the restructuring and alignment processes in the hub and areas of concerns which included: Accommodation (office space and sports fields); support of staff by senior managers; contracting and performance reviews; transport; progress review meeting of the hub system; budgeting and its implementation; equipment demand; administration tools leading severe problems; contracting of contract workers leading severe problems; and overtime and excessive workload in the hubs. It was showed in the research that problems occurred due to the inappropriate alignment of internal programmes complimented with inadequate human resources strategic planning and implementation. The problem of restructuring and alignment are due to oversight on the processes and implementation of the programmes at the foundational level, the lack of follow-ups on Service Level Agreement (SLA) with local government (still not signed), interdepartmental and intergovernmental integration strategy not in place, inadequate facilities for offices, consultation with community and stakeholders which only took place at the later stage. The respondents seriously commented regarding the organisational structure that has been changed thrice since its implementation. This led to overcrowding of staff hubs, with no career path strategy. Further causes are lack of alignment of human resource management strategy with programmes, and structural arrangement of all the departmental sub-directorates, confusing the implementation of programmes and the reporting systems. Considering the challenges of restructuring and alignment at the Gauteng Department of Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation, the study concludes that there is a need for further restructuring and alignment of the human resource strategy to manage the objectives of the Department effectively and efficiently. / Thesis (M.
