This study investigates the restructuring and alignment processes within the Gauteng Department of Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation. The nature of the study was neither inclusive nor an exclusive study accommodate every input of the sub-directorate, and review the staff capacity to meet with set objectives of the Department. It also investigates some of the problematic areas shortsighted by the restructuring and alignment processes in the hub and areas of concerns which included: Accommodation (office space and sports fields); support of staff by senior managers; contracting and performance reviews; transport; progress review meeting of the hub system; budgeting and its implementation; equipment demand; administration tools leading severe problems; contracting of contract workers leading severe problems; and overtime and excessive workload in the hubs. It was showed in the research that problems occurred due to the inappropriate alignment of internal programmes complimented with inadequate human resources strategic planning and implementation. The problem of restructuring and alignment are due to oversight on the processes and implementation of the programmes at the foundational level, the lack of follow-ups on Service Level Agreement (SLA) with local government (still not signed), interdepartmental and intergovernmental integration strategy not in place, inadequate facilities for offices, consultation with community and stakeholders which only took place at the later stage. The respondents seriously commented regarding the organisational structure that has been changed thrice since its implementation. This led to overcrowding of staff hubs, with no career path strategy. Further causes are lack of alignment of human resource management strategy with programmes, and structural arrangement of all the departmental sub-directorates, confusing the implementation of programmes and the reporting systems. Considering the challenges of restructuring and alignment at the Gauteng Department of Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation, the study concludes that there is a need for further restructuring and alignment of the human resource strategy to manage the objectives of the Department effectively and efficiently. / Thesis (M. This work is focused on the topic of school class climate and its enhancement by the methods of personality and social education in a concrete class where the author is working as a teacher. The theoretical part is dedicated to the class climate and its characteristics. It describes what influences, by which methods it can be investigated and what can it be influenced by. In the practical part the author uses the methods of the teacher's active research to investigate the climate in her own class and also self-reflexively examines herself from the view of the beginning teacher. During the time period of one school year continually monitors the climate in her class and states the most effective ways towards improvement. The results of the research show that the methods of personality and social education have an influence to the class climate if they are used in a natural and casual manner. Teachers, while teaching, are facing to some sections of schoolwork which make serious problems to understand. The main task of this diploma thesis is solving the issue of organic chemistry on the field of Gymnasium. The pedagogical attitude was chosen for the selection of problem parts. New educational materials were purposed on the basis of gathered information and thanks to the research the efficiency of teaching the organic chemistry and its problematic parts should augment the undestanding of the problematic parts as well as the bettering of education. Theoretical part of the diploma thesis looks into the methodology of pedagogical research, curriculum documents, didactic methods and forms and literature exploration of defined problem parts of textbooks of organic chemisty for the high schools. Consequently, the practical part exposes results of the performed pedagogical research and the analyse of schoolbooks. Syfte: Syftet med studien är att lyfta maktperspektivet genom en kritisk diskursanalys av debatten kring konceptualiseringen av en diagnos för problematiskt digitalt spelande (PDS). Som professionella inom socialt arbete är PDS ett högaktuellt problem som nyligen har fått en ny officiell diagnos; Gaming Disorder, som ett nytt verktyg i praktiken. Teori: Studiens teoretiska förankring ligger i socialkonstruktionism, maktteori och diskursteori, som samtliga fokuserade på konceptualisering av diagnoser och diagnosens makt i samhället. Metod: Metoden för studien är främst kvalitativ genom en kritisk diskursanalys, men nyttjar även ett mer kvantitativt redskap genom korpuslingvistik. Korpuslingvistiken användes för att identifiera diskurser i debatten som sedan genomgick en tematiserad indelning inför den kritiska diskursanalysen. Resultat: Studiens resultat fokuserar främst på den diskursiva och sociala praktiken i en kritisk diskursanalys, detta då maktperspektivet uppfattades som starkast i dessa nivåer. Resultatet tyder på en fördelning mellan två oeniga fält av experter i debatten. där ena fältet har en stark koppling till WHO, vilket diskuteras i denna studie. / Aim: The aim with the study is to lift the power perspective through a critical discourse analysis of the debate about the conceptualization of a diagnosis for problematic digital gaming (PDS). For professionals in social work, PDS is a highly topical problem which recently gained a new official diagnosis, Gaming Disorder, as a new tool in social work. Theory: The study's theoretical grounding is in social constructionism, power theory and discourse theory, which all have been focused on the conceptualization of diagnoses and the power of diagnoses in society. Method: The method for the study is mainly qualitative through a critical discourse analysis but uses also a more quantitative tool through corpus linguistics. The corpus linguistics was used to identify discourses in the debate which later went through a thematization before the critical discourse analysis. Result: The study's result mainly focuses on discourse practice and social practice; due to that this was where the power perspective was perceived the strongest. The result indicates a division between two fields of discordant experts in the debate, where one field has a strong connection to WHO, which is discussed in this study.

The purpose of this study was to explore the association between problematic social media use (PSMU) and self-rated health (SRH) among Swedish adolescent boys and girls, and additionally to examine whether perceived familial social support buffers against poor health in the same association. The study was based on the Health Behaviour in School-aged Children (HBSC) survey from 2017/2018. The study sample consisted of 3371 adolescents from 213 schools across Sweden. PSMU was used as the exposure variable, SRH as theoutcome variable, age and gender as control variables, and perceived familial social support was applied as a moderator between PSMU and SRH. The analyses performed in the current study was cross-tabulations, binary logistic regression, multiplicative and additive interaction analysis. The results revealed that there is a significant association between PSMU and SRHamong Swedish adolescents. Adolescents with moderate level PSMU had 2.77 higher odds of reporting less than good health (95% CI 2.00-3.84) in comparison to adolescents with low levels of PSMU. Adolescents with high level PSMU had furthermore 4.16 odds of reporting less than good health PSMU (95% CI 2.41-7.20) in comparison to adolescents with low levelPSMU. The association between PSMU and SRH remained statistically significant even after adjusting for age, gender, and perceived familial social support. The interaction analyses did moreover reveal that perceived familial social support may play a crucial role by mitigating the effects of high level PSMU on SRH among Swedish adolescents. In a conclusion, it is of vital importance to understand PSMU in relation to the social context to better understand PSMU and prevent young people from poor SRH. Future research may address the same association but in relation to other social factors, such as socioeconomic status, to achieveenhanced understanding over the association between PSMU and SRH and how to better prevent poor health among young people. Policy makers could furthermore introduce support programs for families/parents who feel they lack confidence in the ability to act as sufficient support, which may reduce the risk for poor health among young people.

The author is reviewing the research that E. Kuruczová demonstrated in her diploma thesis called The effect of social organization of games on the orientation in their moral dimension. The main goal of the diploma thesis Kuruczová developed another contribution to Piaget's theory of the development of moral reasoning of school-age children. Piaget's empirical data suggested that social organizations could influence orientation in their moral dimensions. Kuruczová found that in her 180 children from one school (aged 1st - 9th grade) the development of orientation in the moral dimension of the game King of Deer Hunters (organized as a competition) performs ahead of the development of orientation in the moral dimension of the game Hot Potato (organized as a collaboration). Furthermore, in the research, children of Kuruczová think about the stories of unjust play situations organized by "Mrs. Teacher". Even the youngest and unoriented did not argue the evaluation of the situation as a fair authority of the teacher - which, according to Piaget's theory, could assume the key role of the criterion of obedience of authority in the heteronomous understanding of the criteria of moral evaluation. The question I address is: how might a theology of authority be conceived in the light of questions raised by what is termed 'post-modernity'? Is it possible to articulate a theology of authority coming to the church community 'from God' that avoids an oppressive and alienating heteronomy? The thesis explores the question of authority as of vital importance in the sociological dimension of religion, calling for legitimisation (in light of claims made for itself) and as obligatory in the theological sphere. For this reason the project involves two methodologies (theological and sociological/ethnographic). While this investigation is relevant to all sections of the Christian church, particular attention is paid to Baptist churches in the UK, since they hold a concept in their tradition that I suggest is valuable in answering the question of the thesis, namely that of covenant. Within the Christian tradition there is an inner 'problematic' relating the personal authority of Christ to the forms of institution (church) and text (scripture). I explore this with a brief survey of theological authority as found in the fourfold foundation of scripture, tradition, reason and experience. From this is developed a brief theological and Christological reflection on divine authority and covenant theology as found in Karl Barth and his response to the 'inner problematic'. Within contemporary culture I view authority through the lens of so-called 'postmodernism', identifying four challenges to the notion of 'external authority' (all of which exemplify a move from the external to internal, and objective to subjective approaches to authority). This is further explored by means of qualitative research with one-to-one interviews conducted in a Baptist church in York. This data is reflected upon by means of ethnography and 'judicious narratives', especially in dialogue with material from Guest ('congregational study'), Heelas and Woodhead ('subjectivised-self') and Healy ('theodramatic horizon' and 'practical-prophetic ecclesiology'), providing an intersection between the language of theology and sociology. The concept of church as covenant community is explored in Baptist and (more briefly) Anglican traditions, leading to a constructive proposal that both the inner-church 'problematic' and the 'postmodern' challenge to authority might begin to be resolved with the notion of covenant. It is within this context of relationship, human and divine, that the authoritative and revelatory Word of God, the story that is Christ, is found in community and praxis. Here is a 'triangulating' relationship between authority, story and covenant revealing divine authority in a non-coercive way and relevant to contemporary culture.

Pourtant, les politiques ont toujours tendance à s’affranchir du regard du religieux, à se couper de la source transcendante dont les religions sont les dépositaires. Dans les faits, cette séparation du religieux et du politique crée des situations complexes et conflictuelles. Le ré-enchantement de la religion dans les démocraties laïques, est la signature des rapports complexes, mais nécessaires entre le religieux et le politique. Ainsi donc, la frontière entre le temporel et le spirituel reste difficilement définissable; les alliances et les mésalliances du religieux et du politique influencent énormément les problématiques de sécurité et de paix. Alors quelles contributions la religion, en occurrence l’Eglise catholique, peut-elle apporter à la problématique de la sécurité et de la paix? Le pontificat de Jean-Paul II a initié pour la défense des droits de la personne humaine et de sa dignité un projet d’action à l’échelle de la planète. Ces multiples voyages où les dimensions religieuse et politique se répondent et s’imbriquent, ses nombreuses lettres encycliques, ses homélies, ses allocutions devant les représentants des instances internationales et ses prises de positions osées et audacieuses sont caractéristiques de l’exception Jean-Paul II dans un monde en quête de paix et de sécurité. Avec lui, la catholicité de l’Eglise s’est exprimée au quotidien et a dévoilé le caractère spécifique de sa mission de service de l’humanité et du salut en Jésus-Christ. En revendiquant les droits de l’homme pour tous, le pape met l’accent sur une catégorie de droits à la fois la plus universelle et la plus vilipendée dans les systèmes politiques en occurrence dans le marxisme. Jean-Paul II est crédité de politique d’intervention tous azimuts et de présence extrêmement diversifiée. Loin de conclure à un éparpillement désordonné, sa pensée est unifiée et axée sur l’homme comme valeur centrale et primordiale et comme point de focalisation de toutes ses attentions. / Church and State have the same field of action in common: the national and international setting. Their mission is to promote the common wellbeing of mankind, to give meaning to life and to create the proper environment for the fulfillment of human safety. However, politicians have always had the tendency to relieve themselves from the religious point of view, and to turn their back on the transcendental source which the religions safe keep. In fact, this separation of the religious and of the political creates complex and conflicting situations. The re enchantment of religion in secular democracies is the signature of complex but necessary relationships between the religious and the political. Thus, the boundary between worldly and spiritual matters remains hard to define; alliances and misalliances of the religious and the political greatly influence the security and peace problematic. So what contributions can the religion, in this instance the catholic Church, bring to the security and peace problematic?John Paul II pontificate initiated a world scale project in favor of the defense of human rights and dignity. His several trips during which the religious and political dimensions echo each others, his numerous encyclical letters, his homilies, his allocutions in front of representatives of international instances and his bold and daring opinions are characteristic of John Paul II exception in a world longing for peace and security. With him, the catholicity of the Church expressed itself daily and unveiled the specific character of its mission to serve humanity as well as of salvation through Jesus-Christ. By claiming human rights for all, the pope stresses a category of rights altogether the most universal and the most vilified in political systems, in this case Marxism. John-Paul II is credited of all-out interventionist political actions and of extremely diverse presence. Far from inferring a disorganized scattering, his mind is unified and centered around man as the central and foremost value and as the focal point of all his attentions.

Skadligt bruk är ett brett begrepp som omfattar många olika former av bruk, till exempel av alkohol, droger eller spel om pengar vilket kan påverka arbetsprestationen negativt hos en arbetstagare. På uppdrag av Folkhälsomyndigheten ville man värdera verkningsgraden av genomförda utbildningsinsatser kopplat till problematiskt spelande. Syftet med den här studien är att kvalitativt utvärdera upplevelser av genomförda utbildningsinsatser som organisationen Alna genomfört kring skadligt bruk med fokus på spelproblem. Tematisk analys användes och datainsamling skedde genom semistrukturerade intervjuer med tio HR-medarbetare, vars fem organisationer ingick i utbildningsprojektet Spel och spelförebyggande insatser för arbetslivet. Resultatet visar att Alnas metoder och verktyg upplevs som effektiva och värdefulla av undersökningsdeltagarna. Vissa hinder för effektiv implementering av uppdaterade policys och riktlinjer identifierades och dessa kunde bestå av tidsbrist, underbemanning eller eftersatt prioritering av spelfrågan. Vidare framgår det att Alnas utbildningsinsatser främjat utformandet av policys och riktlinjer kring skadligt bruk med fokus på spel och spelproblem i organisationerna. / The complex concept regarding harmful use of different nature, could be related to the use of alcohol, drugs or gambling. Such activities could affect the efficiency and productivity of an employee in a workplace environment in a negative way. At the request of the Public Health Agency of Sweden, a group of scientist was given the task to evaluate a project regarding education concerning problematic gambling. The purpose of the current study is to evaluate a project regarding education concerning gambling and gambling prevention, and was carried out by the organization Alna. Thematic analysis was used and collection of data was done with semi structured interviews, with ten HR-employees whose five organisations was included in the project Gambling and gambling preventive efforts directed towards the labour market. The results show that the methods and tools used by Alna is perceived as efficient and valuable by the participants. Some obstacles which works against efficient implementation of updated policies and guidelines were identified and these could consist of time constraints, under staffing or subordinated priority of the gambling issue per se. Furthermore it seems that the education project regarding gambling prevention performed by Alna has contributed to the development of policies and guidelines regarding harmful use of different kinds with focus on the gambling issue. / Utvärdering av projektet Spelförebyggande Insatser för Arbetslivet – Praktisk Tillämpning och utvärdering.
