Utveckling av prototyp för e-tjänst till överklagningar / Developing a prototype of an e-service to appeals

Stenlund, Kristoffer January 2012 (has links)
This report describes an examination project that has been performed at the Swedish Board of Agriculture in Jönköping. The task was to develop a prototype of an e-service to appeals with focus on usability. The Swedish Board of Agriculture is a public authority who works to fulfil the general goals of agricultural and food policy in Sweden. One of their main tasks is to administrate EU funding to the agricultural sector. However, they have noticed problems with appeals from agriculturalist who wants to appeal different decisions to their agriculture. The appeals aren’t always complete and it takes more work and time to handle them. Swedish Board of Agriculture wants to investigate the possibility to introduce an e-service for appeals. The e-service will guide a user through an appeal and ask about necessary information to make the appeal as correct and complete as possible. The users have different experiences of appealing and computer usage and therefore the purpose of this study have been to develop a prototype of an e-service that will focus on the usability. The main research question is: How can you develop a usable e-service with consideration to graphical and functional interface to the users? The goal with this study is to develop a prototype of an e-service that follows the requirements from Swedish Board of Agriculture and the research for the study on usability. The project has followed Swedish Board of Agricultures working process. Different steps has been planning, specification of requirements, develop a prototype and evaluation of the prototype. The study has resulted in a prototype of an e-service for appeals that has been developed with support from specifications of requirements and the research about usability. The result shows different parts of how the prototype can look like with a development focus on theories about usability. A conclusion of this work is that studies and theories about usability are important when you are developing web pages. This is because the web page is being designed to increase the understanding for users on how to use it. Usability is necessary to consider such that a developer does not make any assumptions about the users experience about Internet usage.

Klinikintern statistik : en fallstudie kring behov av och möjligheter till framtagandet av ett statistikverktyg / Clinical statistics : a case study about needs and opportunities for the development of a statistical tool

Boustedt, Tova January 2014 (has links)
The health care sector is one of the most information-intensive institutions in Sweden. Big investments in information technology have been made to ensure efficiency and quality within organisations in health care. This has led to high requirements in documentation and resulted in an increase in administration which gradually more often is done by nurses and doctors. A major problem is that it is difficult to gain access to the information recorded in all the different systems, which is their objective. This causes double documentation instead of being a support in follow-up performance.   This study investigates the use of a central warehouse to enhance how people work with statistics at a clinic. The purpose of the project was to identify need and issues surrounding the clinical internal statistic of the Department of Neurosurgery and then give an improvement proposal in the form of a prototype software tool. During the project a requirement analysis in the form of interviews and observations in the clinic was carried out and the project team could identify users, systems, artefacts and information needs were identified. The result of this work is a prototype which was developed in a user-centered process, where contact with the IT-department (e-Hälsa) provided opportunities for access to data. The project has contributed a survey of the clinic where information- and functional needs about administrative statistics have been compiled and are the basis for a prototype that demonstrates a possible concept for recording and monitoring.

Využití technologie virtuální reality v analýze rizik a bezpečnosti výrobních strojů / Utilization of Virtual Reality Technology in Risk Analysis and Safety of Production Machines

Novotný, Tomáš Unknown Date (has links)
The doctoral thesis introduces a study of possibilities for utilization of virtual reality technology in risk analysis and safety of production machines. The main goal of the thesis is to analyse and examine possible means of integrating visualization and interaction techniques of virtual reality into the risk identification process in the early stage of the production machine life cycle. The proposed work provides a methodological approach to the theoretical implementation of these techniques in the definition of dangerous areas of a machine, identification of sources of possible risks and verification of applied measures built-in in the machine structure. A system approach is used for forming and optimizing the introduced methodological procedures. The solution includes the design of the methodology for effective transfer of 3D design data into immersion virtual reality domain. This enables overcoming existing barriers in exploitation of virtual reality technologies in industrial applications. The next section introduces a procedure of implementation of real tools and equipment in immersion virtual reality domain, including an option for detection of collisions between the real tools and virtual objects. Experimental tests confirm its capability of practical utilization. The impact of the final practical contribution is shown by a decrease in the number of accidents during assembly work, due to its appropriate planning and thanks to training of the personnel on a virtual prototype, carried out already before the manufacturing of the actual machine. The result of the presented doctoral thesis contributes to further qualitative improvement of techniques and methods for preventive increase of safety and reliability of developed machines, particularly of machining centres, which will help increase their competitiveness. The properties of the designed procedures are documented and verified on real industrial cases.

FJÄRRSTYRD SANERINGSROBOT UTVECKLAD MED CODESYS FÖR RASPBERRY PI / Remote-controlled decontamination robot based on CODESYS for Raspberry Pi

Eskilsson, Hampus January 2020 (has links)
At the Department of Applied Physics and Electronics, at Umeå University, education and research are conducted in areas such as automation and robotics. The purpose of the project is to create a robot, where the report can be used to assist future learning within the subjects covered by the project. The goals of the project are to design, create and program a decontamination robot prototype using the development interface CODESYS. UVC-light will be used to achieve this sanitation. UVC is a category of UV light which includes a limited range of wavelengths, that have been shown to have bactericidal effect. The robot is designed in CAD using the measurements of the hardware used. Furthermore, the robot's chassis consists of two plexiglass plates that are laser cut according to predetermined hole patterns. The chassis is assembled using six M6 threaded rods. The design constitutes two levels onto which the components can be mounted. The driveline consists of motor control boards, servomotors and mecanum wheels. Two joysticks are used to control the steering of the robot. The joysticks in relation with theoretical equations enables omnidirectional motion. Furthermore, a relay card is used for controlling both UVC and the signal lamp. The robot is programmed in CODESYS as a "Function Block Diagram" (FBD) where several new program libraries are implemented. By using CODESYS’ visualization tool, a user interface is created where the robot can be remotely controlled via a web interface. Seven out of eight requirements were achieved in the project. The achieved requirements were all validated through five test scenarios. Furthermore, the robot can be steered in any direction via Wi-Fi through inter alia a smartphone. The various ports of the relay are controlled by programmed functions and buttons, which can be overridden in the case of body heat being detected by an IR sensor. If the robot were to be further developed, a camera could be connected and used in the HMI, which would have enabled distance remote control. Furthermore, several control options could have been implemented, for example a button that allows the robot to rotate 90 degrees.
