[en] This work aims to highlight an epistemological and methodological repertoire that considers the existence of more than one historical and political place to produce knowledge. It also commits to the reorientation of the race relations research through counter-storytelling. Apply these narratives as the central element of analysis allows its use as essential data for the dissolution of power relations in society and qualifies them as survival strategies and means of resistance, as well as the revision of historical facts, contributing to building memory.

junguiana e a poimênica.
junguiana, o cuidado pastoral e a própria religião. No desenvolvimento dessas
e da teologia da cruz enquanto vértices para uma efetiva cura da alma / This paper discusses issues related to the concept and practice of pastoral
care, with contributions from Jungian analysis for Christian guidance and
counseling, as well as studies the links between Jungian therapy and pastoral
care. To accomplish this, it is based on the assertion that the Christian
counseling and pastoral care are linked to the ministries of the church, in the
sense of diakonia, to the services that involve helping people and groups,
because it offers them the prospect of faith and revelation. It develops the idea
that analytical psychology can offer a suitable method for Christian needs,
considering that the Jungian approach enables both the transformation and
integration of psychic contents, as well as taking on the path of self-knowledge,
and both of these results also point to the benefits of spiritual and religious
guidance, showing that this is the main meeting of and relationship between
Jungian analysis, pastoral care, and religion itself. In developing these
perspectives religious and symbolic dimensions of the psyche and the theology
of the cross as vertices for effective healing of the soul were explored.

circuitum nostrum.
corpo, porém no corpo.
This thesis is based mainly on the books About the Potentiality of the Soul: De
quantitate animae and De libero arbítrio written by Saint Augustine. We discourse
about the process of conceptualization of the being soul and of the solution of the
problem of free choice through the Augustinian pedagogical system circuitum
nostrum. We will see that this immaterial being which makes us rational, and
therefore human, is what comes closest to God of all the beings of the creation. An
immortal being, with innate ideas, without division and which monitors all the
functions of the body, making it possible for the human being to use the memory,
reason and rationality. Subsisting in itself, it remains, even after the separation from
the body, as a whole entity and carrier of all the memories of the body which
animated it for life. Presenting himself as a dualist, St. Augustine reveals to us that
although the soul is in the body it is not bound to the body, but is in the body. Without
growth and aging this immaterial being without dimensions is real, however unknown
to the subject him/her self who houses it. A being which maintains the vital principle
and that of animation (animus) of the body. When this soul is educated by rationality
it permits the human being the full use of freedom in the moral choice of action, or
free will. We will see the influence of Socrates, Plato and neoplatonism through the
dialogs inserted in the Augustinian pedagogical system circuitum nostrum and the
relation between the pedagogism of Paulo Freire as a mirror of augustinianism,
through the dialog as producers of active subjects in the transformation of society.

Attentively deliberating 'Mémoire sur diverses manifestations de la vie individuelle', the unfairly least known work of Gobineau, we discover the influence and inspiration he receives from Shi ite mysticism, and more precisely from the oriental philosophy of Mollâ Sadrâ, which is the key code to comprehend this work. It not only returns 'Essay on the Inequality of the Human Races' to its proper place among the author's works, but also does him the justice he deserves. It also reveals his profound integrity, the indivisible feature of Gobineau's life and its eminently fictional dimension.

This dissertation investigates the argument of the real distinction between body and soul presented on the Meditations on First Philosophy. The main goal is to explain the reason why the separability between body and soul is considered sufficient condition for this sort of distinction. In order to reach its goal, along the Meditations, it takes the path through the concepts of soul, body and the clear and distinct perception. It analyses the argument of the real distinction between body and soul presented on the Sixth Meditation and afterwards it makes use of Descartes’ discussions with Caterus and Arnauld, presented on Objections and Replies, seeking to clarify points of the argument that yet remain obscure. Studying the Meditations associated with the Objections and Replies, this dissertation shows that the real distinction is the one that happens between substances and that being a substance is being separable. Thus, being the recognition of the separability of two things the recognition of that those things are substances – and, hence, that they are really distinct – it explains the reason why the separability is sufficient condition for the real distinction between body and soul. It concludes that the separability is also a necessary condition to that sort of distinction.

Dualismo corpo/alma na teologia pentecostalFernando Albano 02 July 2010 (has links)
A ênfase
The object of this research is the dualism between body and soul in the Brazilian
Pentecostal theology, represented by its major expression for the Assembly of God
Church. Thus, from the appreciation of the whole human being, take it goals to
investigate the Pentecostal theological anthropology, its tensions and convergences
with the biblical perspective. The theological emphasis on the unity of the human
constitution, that the biblical testimony indicates, contrastes with the historical
experience of Christianity, in which the body, always played a secondary status,
which remains in Pentecostalism today. This research presents its content in three
chapters: Chapter 1 seeks to identify the origin, as well as the development of
anthropological dualism along the mains periods of church history. Entitled
Pentecostal Theology and anthropological dualism, the second chapter seeks to
present a brief aspect of Pentecostal theology, especially considering the data
showing his conception of human being. On the way to overcome the anthropology
dualism, third and last chapter, is quest its, after describing briefly about the
constitution of the human being from some biblical data in dialogue with some
authors, means of overcoming of the anthropological dualism. Finally, it indicates to a
Pentecostal theology the adoption of the anthropological unity perpective.

Necessary Evil or Unnecessary God?January 2018 (has links)
abstract: In this thesis, I discuss the philosophical problem of evil and, as a response, John Hick's soul making theodicy. First, I discuss the transformation of the problem. I examine how the problem has shifted from logical to evidential in recent history. Next, I offer a faithful rendition of Hick's position - one which states the existence of evil does not provide evidence against the existence of God. After reconstructing his argument, I go on to exposes its logical faults. I present four main contentions to Hick's theodicy. First, I analyze the psychology of dehumanization to question whether we have any evidence that soul making is happening in response to the suffering in the world. Second, I argue that Hick's theodicy is self-defeating if accepted because it undermines the central point on which his argument depends. Third, I claim that Hick's theodicy is self-defeating given his eschatological views. Finally, I discuss how Hick's theodicy does not account for the animal suffering that widely exists in the world now, and that exists in our evolutionary history. My hope is to show that Hick's theodicy fails to solve the problem of evil. I claim that the amount of gratuitous suffering in the world does provide evidence against the existence of God. / Dissertation/Thesis / Masters Thesis Philosophy 2018
