2	The Solo Compositions for Trumpet of Fisher Aubrey Tull: An Analysis of Structural, Technical, and Stylistic Elements for Performance Preparation, with Three Recitals of Selected Works by Bozza, Fasch, Haydn, Tomasi, and Others Wenger, Alan J. 08 1900 (has links) The compositions of Fisher Aubrey Tull are widely performed and many have become standard repertoire. Tull's compositions encompass a multiplicity of performance media including works for orchestra, chorus, symphonic band, jazz band, brass choir, and solo and chamber works. Tull's compositional output for the trumpet is prolific and is acknowledged to be music of high quality. An examination of Trumpet and Brass Programs, compiled and published annually by the International Trumpet Guild, shows Tull's solo and ensemble works for trumpet to be frequently performed. Furthermore, his compositions for trumpet have been performed and recorded by internationally acclaimed artists including Vincent DiMartino, Terry Everson, Håkan Hardenberger, Anthony Plog, Carl "Doc" Severinsen and Allen Vizzutti.This study investigates Fisher Tull's eight solo works for trumpet, which include: Vignette for Trumpet and Piano (1954); Concerto No. 1 for Trumpet and Orchestra (1964); Concerto No. 2 for Trumpet and Band (1974); Three Bagatelles for Trumpet and Piano (1975); Eight Profiles for Solo Trumpet (1978); Rhapsody for Trumpet and Band (1980); Sonata for Trumpet and Piano (1986); and Chromutations for Solo Trumpet (1988). Histories of each composition are chronicled. An analysis of formal organization and significant style features examines musical structure, harmonic language, rhythmic character, instrumentation, and orchestration. A discussion of technical concerns specific to the trumpet that addresses range, tessitura, articulation, flexibility, endurance and the use of extended techniques is included. Performance suggestions, pertaining to technical and artistic issues, offer the reader specific recommendations as an aid in performance preparation. Finally, the significance of Fisher Tull's works for trumpet and his impact on the trumpet literature is assessed. Evidence suggests that his prolific compositional output, diversity of forms, and musical quality rank him as one of the most significant composers for the trumpet in the twentieth century. 4	Avdrags- och återbetalningsrätt för importmoms vid bristande efterlevnad : Mervärdesskatt Igho, Rakel January 2022 (has links) Vid import av varor från en plats utanför EU till Sverige uppstår en skyldighet att betalamervärdesskatt i enlighet med 1 kap. 1 § första stycket 3 mervärdesskattelagen(1994:200) ML. En beskattningsbar person som bedriver ekonomisk verksamhet harenligt 8 kap. 3 § ML rätt att göra avdrag för ingående mervärdesskatt som hänför sig tillimport. En utländsk beskattningsbar person har enligt 10 kap. 1 § ML återbetalningsrättför ingående mervärdesskatt. Vid import är det vanligt förekommande att det skermisstag som kan leda till att en aktör inte fullföljer Tullverkets föreskrifter. Ett sådantförfarande benämns bristande efterlevnad av tullagstiftningen. Vid bristande efterlevnadav tullagstiftningen har ingen aktör rätt till avdrag eller återbetalning av importmomsenenligt Skatteverket och Tullverket. En aktör har vid självrättelse inte heller någonavdrags- respektive återbetalningsrätt av importmomsen. Det har alltså ingen betydelseatt den bristande efterlevnaden uppkommit till följd av misstag. En aktör förlorar alltsåsin rätt trots att hen inte haft för uppsåt att kringgå bestämmelserna om import.Förfarandet leder till att en inlåsningseffekt av importmoms uppstår. En viktig del avmervärdesskattesystemet är rätten till avdrag och återbetalning av ingåendemervärdesskatten. Enligt Europeiska unionens praxis är avdragsrätten en oskiljaktig delav mervärdesskattesystemet varför medlemsstaterna inte får begränsa denna rätt.Systemet bygger på neutralitetsprincipen samt reciprocitetsprincipen som innebär attden beskattningsbara personen inte ska belastas skatten och att den utgående skatten försäljaren blir den ingående skatten för köparen.SKV:s och Tullverkets bedömningssätt har skiljt sig från EU-domstolens och HFD:srättspraxis. HFD har genom två nya avgöranden fastställt när importmoms kan utkrävasoch medgett återbetalning till den aktör som påförts importmomsen. Avgörandena ärvägledande eftersom det dagligen importeras varor till Sverige och förfarandet att enaktör påförs importmoms vid bristande efterlevnad som uppkommit till följd av misstagär vanligt förekommande. Vi har analyserat hur marknaderna för socker och etanol fungerar i Brasilien och EU, därefter försökt förutse vilka samhällsekonomiska effekter ett borttagande av importtullen i EU kan ha. Vi finner att etanolpriset i EU sjunker, därmed ökar efterfrågan. Bensinkonsumtionen ökar på kort sikt i både EU och Brasilien, då ett lägre etanolpris medför ett lägre pris på bensin via den inblandningskvot av etanol som finns i vanlig bensin. På längre sikt kan så kallade ”flex fuel”-bilar bli allt vanligare och bensinkonsumtionen kan avta. Både med och utan en importtull på etanol skapas potentiellt kostsamma inlåsningseffekter av fortsatta satsningar på etanol.</p> / <p>In order to protect the European production of fuel ethanol, high import tariffs have been introduced. We have analyzed how the sugar and ethanol markets function in Brazil and the EU, and then tried to forecast the economic effects that can result from removing the tariff. We find that the ethanol price in the EU decreases and as a result of that the demand increases. Gasoline consumption increases in the short run in both EU and Brazil, since a lower ethanol price causes lower gasoline price through the blend ratio of ethanol into gasoline. In the longer run gasoline consumption can decrease as “flex fuel”-vehicles increase in numbers. 8	An Annotated Bibliography of Selected Chamber Music For Saxophone, Winds and Percussion with Analyses Of Danses Exotiques by Jean Françaix, and Nonet by Fisher Tull Fryer, Cheryl A. 12 1900 (has links) An expansive repertoire of original chamber works is available for ensembles comprised of saxophone, wind and percussion instruments. Many musicians, including saxophonists and conductors, are unaware of this enormous body of literature. This produces a compelling need for sources of identification available to conductors, performers and teachers. This study begins to provide such a source through the presentation of selected works and the accompanying annotated bibliography. The lack of awareness of available scores for chamber music with saxophone, winds and percussion among conductors and many performers often contributes to the absence of these works in concert halls. The objective of this lecture-recital document is to make available a tool that includes only original works for the saxophone in a variety of chamber ensemble settings. The nature of this study will be descriptive. The literature chosen for this project reveals varying levels of performance difficulty, compositional techniques, form, and instrumentation. Chosen works employ an ensemble size that requires a conductor or are more successfully performed with a conductor. Selected compositions are illustrated in which the saxophone is identified as a vital ingredient in an already existing repertoire of serious chamber literature. Works in this study include original compositions using from seven to seventeen musicians. Some of the works discussed in this study include double bass and piano. Chapters include information on the Parameters of Study (Introduction, Historical Perspective, Sources, Criteria, Selection of Works for Analysis), composer Jean Françaix, a Historical Overview and Detailed Study of Danses Exotiques, composer Fisher Tull, a Historical Overview and Detailed Study of Nonet and an Annotated Bibliography of compositions matching the established criteria.
