Sponsorship is one of the most effective marketing strategies for corporations to communicate with their target audience as well as improving their brand. The most common sponsorship is sports related, despite this there is a lack of research regarding the on-field performance effect on sponsorship. The aim of this study is to investigate the importance of the on-field performances and their effects on the team’s sponsorships.   The following marketing model and marketing theories have been used: A-ERIC Model, Brand Equity and Brand Image Transfer. All of these have previously been used in different scientific studies and has, because of this, been chosen to act as the foundation of this study. A qualitative data collecting method has been used in this study to be able to work towards the aim of it and fulfil the ambition to answer the scientific questions asked. With an interview guide as support, five semi structured interviews have been created and completed.   The result of this study show that the on-field performances has an indirect effect on the sponsorships. Poor performances can result in worse exposure for the sponsorships and affect them negatively. On the other hand, the fact that sponsorgiver show their support can give them a positive effect because they appear loyal to the sport organization. It also became clear that communication had a major impact and depending on how the sport organization chooses to communicate its goals, it will determine the expectations for sponsorship. Additionally, the study has also shown that communication has a big effect on how important the on-field performances are for the sponsors. The communication between the sponsorgiver and sponsortaker, also has a big effect on how important the on-field performance is for the sponsor.

Introduktion: I samband med röntgen vid operation föreligger en risk att patienten drabbas av vårdskada. Det ställer krav på att operationssjuksköterskan är välinformerad och har den kompetens som behövs för att optimera röntgenanvändning vid operation. Syfte: Att belysa operationssjuksköterskans omvårdnadsansvar av patienten i samband med röntgenanvändning vid operation. Metod: En litteraturstudie där vetenskapliga forskningsartiklar utgjorde informationskällan. Informationen har sedan analyserats, och kategorier och underkategorier har skapats. Resultat: Baseras på tio vetenskapliga artiklar och presenteras i form av två kategorier och sju underkategorier som arbetades fram under analysprocessen. Den första kategorin; ”Skapa välmående för patienten” byggs upp av underkategorierna ”Medvetenhet om patientens utsatthet”, ”Lugn och trygg vårdmiljö” och ”Information till patienten”. Den andra kategorin; ”Minska risken för vårdskada” innehåller underkategorierna ”Skydda patienten”, ”Möjlighet att förbereda arbetet”, ”Skapa en helhetsbild av patienten” och ”Minska stråldosen”. Konklusion: Operationssjuksköterskan har möjlighet att påverka vården av patienten när röntgen används vid operation, men för att kunna ha möjlighet att påverka vården och nå goda resultat behöver operationssjuksköterskorna ha kunskap om det omvårdnadsansvar som åligger dem. / Introduction: When using X-ray in the operating room the patient is at risk of health care injury. It is required for the operating theatre nurse to be well informed and has the necessary skills to optimize X-ray use. Purpose: To highlight operating theatre nurses responsibility when using x-ray in surgery. Method: A literature study where scientific research articles was the source of information. The information has then been analyzed and categories and subcategories have been created. Result: Based on ten studies and presented in the form of two main categories and seven subcategories. The first main category ”Creating wellbeing for the patient” consists of the subcategories ”Awareness of the patients vulnerability”, ”Calm and secure environment” and ”Patient information”. The other main category ”Reduce risk of healthcare injury” consists of the subcategories ”Protect the patient”, ”Prepare the work”, ”Patients overall picture” and ”Reduce radiation”. Conclusion: The operating theatre nurse has the ability to influence the care when X-ray is used in surgery, but knowledge and insight about the responsibility is essential.

The purpose of this study is to examine if, and in that case how, students at Uppsala University are affected by their Instagram feeds and how that will influence the decisions students make in relation to a political election. In addition to this, we also intend to examine how students' perceptions of politics in a more global aspect may be affected by this. To answer the purpose, the following questions are used: - How can filter bubbles and echo chambers on Instagram affect students' opportunities to make well-informed decisions, especially in relation to political elections?  - How can students' Instagram feeds affect their perception of world politics? To receive the empirical material ten qualitative interviews are conducted. Based on the empirical material a text analysis is done. We used Jürgen Habermas theory of the Public Sphere and the theory of Selective Exposure. The result of the study is mainly that the echo chambers that exist in students' Instagram feeds have such a large impact that it cannot be claimed that they can make a completely well-informed decision. And that students' perception of the outside world gives them a more global enlightenment of the political events that take place in the outside world, while due to its filtered Instagram feeds they do not get a holistic view from all perspectives of the events. This result provides information about the effects that echo chambers and filter bubbles can have and it may be an explanation of the ongoing polarization in the global political climate.

Denna uppsats handlar om skolbibliotek samt skolbibliotekariers roll och litteraturfrämjande arbete. Skyltning av böcker i skolbibliotek undersöks också då denna anses vara nära sammankopplad med litteraturfrämjande verksamhet. Detta undersöks utifrån frågeställningarna: Vilka syften har skolbiblioteken och dess litteraturfrämjande arbete? Vad ingår i skolbibliotekariens arbete? På vilka olika sätt exponeras böcker i skolbibliotek? Vilka syften finns med särskild exponering av vissa utvalda böcker? De som intervjuats har varit skolbibliotekarier eller personer som tidigare varit skolbibliotekarier. Observationerna har gjorts på olika typer av skolbibliotek. Skolbibliotekens huvudsakliga syfte har framkommit vara det läsfrämjande uppdraget där bland annat särskild exponering av olika typer av litteratur ingår. Många av de intervjuade kopplar även detta till att eleverna ges förutsättningar till att bli en del av samhället, där demokrati och yttrandefrihet är nära sammankopplat med individers läsförmåga. Skolbibliotekariens uppdrag består av många olika komponenter och mycket är upp till individen bakom titeln. Särskild exponering används inom majoriteten av skolbiblioteken och alla intervjuade nämner detta som ett viktigt och effektivt sätt att presentera böcker. Syftet med denna typ av skyltning är att främja elevernas intresse av böcker. Till detta hör även att rekommendera olika typer av litteratur, där främst nyheter och böcker personalen vill rekommendera blir placerad. Popular fiction have met with an abundance of criticism troughout history. Then around the twentieth century events had the libraries forced to reevaluate their identities. Fantasy, science fiction and horror are all examples of popular fiction. There-fore this thesis aims to show what position the genres holds at two swedish public libraries – library A and B. For this pupose the paper will focus on the genres availability towards the users. Availability has been reduced into four functions – acqusition, placement, display and exhibition. Furthermore the pa-per uses modifications of Elzingas traditionalistic, pragmatic and emancipa-torial strategies. This as a way to try to explain the reasons behind the current availability of the genres. The research questions are: How has library A and library B choosen to make fantasy, science fiction and horrorlitterature avai-lable in the library? What are the reasons behind the choosen form of availa-bility? Observations and qualitative interviews has been performed at respective lib-rary. The result concludes that horror was not broken out as its own genre. Ho-wever fantasy and science fiction was and where placed together. A lot of the librarians work seemded to stem from a desire to simplify for the user. In con-clusion the pragmatic strategy comes out as the dominent one. However all three strategies can be distinguished. The conclusion made is that the horrorgenre did not have a very good position in the libraries. Science fiction had a somewhat good position but much in adherence to fantasy which had a very good position.

Bakgrund: Paracetamol, även känt som acetaminophen, är ett populärt receptbelagt och receptfritt analgetisk och antipyretiskt läkemedel. Paracetamol anses vara säkert läkemedel, även under graviditeten, så länge man inte överskrider de rekommenderade doserna. Syfte: Syftet med litteraturstudien är att utvärdera rekommendationerna kring det receptfria läkemedlet paracetamol för gravida kvinnor och ifall det kan användas under graviditet utan någon ökad risk för fosterskador.Metod: Metoden som användes är en litteraturöversikt och en artikelsökning gjordes i databasen PubMed. Antalet artiklar som granskades är 15.Resultat: Resultatet visade samband där exponering för paracetamol under graviditet i mer än 28 dagar var förknippad med externaliserande beteendeproblem eller dåliga kommunikationsfärdigheter hos barn från tre år. De externaliserande beteendeproblemen är förknippade med försämrad motorik, negativt uppvisade emotioner, hyperaktivitet, inlärning och uppmärksamhetsproblem. Barn födda av mödrar som exponerats för paracetamol mer än en trimester har högre risk att få HKD-diagnos eller ADHD-medicin förskrivet. Även ökade risker för ADHD visades hos barn vars moder tagit paracetamol under andra/tredje trimestern. In vivo studier som mätte neuronala aminosyraproteiner i råtthjärnan resulterade i att råttor som utsatts för paracetamol under hjärnans utveckling visade försämrad kognitiv flexibilitet. Minskad emotionalitet, ökad responsivitet i dopaminerga systemet och ökning av dopaminnivåer går att sammankoppla med en förändring i neuroutveckling för autism samt ADHD.Slutsats: Läkemedelsintag för en gravid kvinna spelar en viktig roll vid vilken stadie av graviditeten som det administreras då fostret utvecklas på olika sätt under trimestrarna. Detta är viktigt att tas i beaktning när man studerar utvecklingstoxikologiska effekter. I denna uppsats beskrivs kopplingar mellan paracetamolexponering in utero och effekter på neurokognitiv utveckling som ses i skolåldern i form av autism, ADHD och långsammare språkutveckling. Statliga myndigheter bör därför skriva om sina rekommendationer vad gäller exponering för paracetamol för gravida kvinnor och uppmana till försiktighetsåtgärder.

The purpose of this study is to explore the collective identity of incels created on the incel forum incels.is from an information science perspective. This is done by studying both the cognitive information behavior of the forum members as well as the socio-cognitive information practice of the forum. Considering the incel community is online based, a netnographic approach is used. A netnographic approach relying on a non-participant observation of 86 posts made on a publicly available incel forum. Personal narratives in the posts are regarded as the cognitive information behavior of the forum members and analyzed to depict the collective identity of incels through social interactions on incels.is from the collective identity theory. By identifying the incel discussion forum as an echo chamber we explore its information practice with the theory of selective exposure. The information practice of the forum accentuates the habitualization and continuity of the values and polarization that shape the collective identity. The empirical findings show that the collective identity is based off of a polarization between in-groups and out-groups which is heavily marked by terminology and selective exclusion. The forum is a social space strictly for heterosexual males that considers their personal state of involuntary celibacy an identity that needs to be enacted socially with likeminded. The empirical findings tell that the incels believe in a societal hierarchy where they are placed at the bottom for not meeting the heteronormative ideal of beauty and therefor lack romantical and intimate experiences. The collective identity of incels on incels.is consists of evaluating common incel traits, comparing the in-group with the out-group and vent their anger towards those responsible for the men’s loneliness.

Syftet med den här kvantitativa studien är att få reda på om det finns skillnader mellan personer som har svenska som förstaspråk och svenska som andraspråk vad det gäller att upptäcka avvikelser i genuskongruens, specifikt med en/ett och sin/sitt. Totalt sex deltagare (tre med svenska som andraspråk) deltog i denna småskaliga experimentella undersökning. Som förväntat visade det sig att de som har svenska som andraspråk har generellt svårare att upptäcka avvikelser i genus med ett undantag. Det reflexiva possessiva pronomenet sitt utmärkte sig genom att andraspråkstalare la märke till avvikelserna kring just detta pronomen i hög grad. Trots att detta var en småskalig studie och det därför är svårt att veta om resultaten går att generalisera till större grupper visades att exponering till språket och inlärningsåldern hade betydelse för den receptiva språkfärdigheten. Genom idrottssponsring har företag därmed möjligheten att bemöta en större publik under en längre period. Det som styr kostnaden för sponsring bygger på den nivå av mediebevakning som den sponsrade enheten besitter. Problematiken bygger påen kunskapslucka där forskning inte har studerat SMEs sponsring i större utsträckning. Syfte: Syftet är att undersöka sponsring av av elitidrott, för att urskilja vilken nivå av dessa som ger SMEs största mängd exponering i förhållande till sponsringsinvesteringen. Teori: De teorier som används och presenteras är utgångspunkter och centrala begrepp inom ämnesområdet sponsring som ska bidra till att förstå och analysera materialet. Metod: Studien har formats utifrån en kvalitativ metod med semistrukturerade intervjuer där val av studieobjekt utgått från ett mål och kriteriestyrt urval. Slutsats: Sponsring av lägre mediebevakad elitidrott ger SMEs större mängd exponering i förhållande till sponsringsinvestering än vad högre mediebevakad elitidrott. / Background: Sponsorship is an essential part for businesses and a way for them to reach out to their consumers through brand exposure. Through sports sponsorship, companies thus have the opportunity to meet a larger audience for a longer period. What governs the cost of sponsorship is based on the level of media coverage the sponsored entity possesses. The problem is based on a knowledge gap where research has not studied SME sponsorship to agreater extent. Purpose: The aim is to investigate the sponsorship of elite sports, to discern which level of these gives SMEs the greatest amount of exposure in relation to the sponsorship investment. Theory: The theories that are used and presented are starting points and central concepts in the subject area of sponsorship that should contribute to understanding and analyzing the material. Method: The study has been designed based on a qualitative method with semi-structured interviews where the choice of study object was based on a goal and criteria-driven selection. Conclusion: Sponsorship of elite sports with lower media coverage gives SMEs greater amount of exposure in relation to sponsorship investment than elite sports with higher media coverage

Purpose: Quartz dust is a serious problem on construction sites all over the world. Thefine-grained dust that is perceived as invisible for the naked eye, gets stuck in the exposed individual’s respiratory system where it in the long run can result in illness and in the worst scenario death. Silicosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or lungcancer are all consequences related to exposure of quartz dust. During this study has ananalysis been implemented to find out how well known this problem actually is within the building industry and how prevented work is done to minimize quarts dust exposure. Method: To collect the correct type of information applicable for the studies goal has a qualitative study with a case study approach using interviews and surveys been performed. The interviews were directed towards the supervisors, while the surveys were given to the construction workers at three construction companies that were contacted. The reason being for this were to create an actual image of how the work is conducted in real life situations. The collected data was there after sorted and analysed with the theoretical frameworks implemented during the study to help with the validation and reliability of the finalized result. Findings: There is an existing connection between the lack of knowledge of the consequences of quartz dust, health aspects and the construction workers habits while working. There is also a finding in the flaws of the safety equipment’s design that contributes to the fact that workers decide to work without it even though the company’sregulations prohibit this. Implications: When safety equipment is overlooked the worker is exposed for multiple possible health aspects. To increase the workers understanding of the situation and develop the education process could result in an improvement to the situation. T odevelop the safety equipment could also contribute to the current situation. Limitations: Quartz dust is not a problem that’s only specified to the sites that are included in this study, this means that the result can be implemented far of this studies borders. The building industry is only one of many working habitats were quartz dust is problematic for the workers. Work routines concerning quartz dust may vary and be different depending on the occupational group and their relegations which can result that the studies result may not be applicable in detail.
