L'Aufklärung kantienne : une quête d'autonomie

Vigneault-Bérubé, Alexandre 07 1900 (has links)
Michel Foucault pointed out that there is in the design of the European Enlightenment a tension between the "growing autonomy" and "growth capacity" by science and technology (Foucault, 1994, p. 83). Now, in "What is Enlightenment?" Kant clearly favors the first part, autonomy, as evidenced by its definition: "out of man's status as such, where he maintains through his own fault." It is bound to admit, however, that autonomy as expressed in the "think for yourself" requires access to public space, because freedom of thought implies the possibility of publishing one’s opinions and to think with others. Kant's text evokes the political conditions for free access to the "reading public". It is therefore important that the enlightened despot, namely Frederick the Great, ruled at least in a republican spirit by holding a public space free of censorship. It is also important that he should refrain from interfering in religious matters. It is no coincidence that the theme of freedom of religious conscience occupies a large place in Kant's text, because the temptation is great for political authority to violate this freedom and exploit religion for political purposes.

O ESTUDO NAS REPRESENTAÇÕES SOCIAIS DOS ALUNOS CONCLUINTES DO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL / The study in social representations of students finishing elementary school

Koga, Viviane Terezinha 13 December 2012 (has links)
Made available in DSpace on 2017-07-21T20:32:02Z (GMT). No. of bitstreams: 1 Viviane T Koga.pdf: 1442650 bytes, checksum: dab5c775d95be2e7e47f22543e3e4d7f (MD5) Previous issue date: 2012-12-13 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / This investigation consists of a study on the social representations of elementary school 9th grade students. It was carried out in three State schools in Ponta Grossa – PR, two of which achieved good IDEB results whereas the performance of the third was below average. Due to the low performance the students have in external evaluations, such as SAEB and PISA, poor study habits and the increasing lack of interest in studying, besides constant complaints from teachers about this situation, the aim of the investigation was: a) to reveal social representations of students in the 9th grade about studying; b) to present the confront of social representations of studying in schools of higher and lower IDEB results; c) to analyze deeply social representations of studying in the school with the lowest IDEB score. This research is quali-quantitative, with a pluri-methodological approach. It is based on the Social Representations Theory, proposed by Moscovici and co-workers; and, in special, the structural approach and the concepts of autonomy and heteronomy, according to Piaget. Data collection was carried out in two phases which corresponded to the application of a questionnaire (N=213) in the three schools and the interviews (N=40) in the lowest IDEB score school. The data was analyzed aided by the software SPSS, EVOC, SIMI and ALCESTE, as well as by the content analysis. Results indicated that: a) the 9th grade students have an ambivalent social representation of studying: sometimes it is seen in a positive way, as something important for the future, others negatively, described as boring and tiring; sometimes it appears that the positive representation is characteristic of the lowest IDEB school, and the negative one is present in schools with higher IDEB score; b) students answers reveal that the IDEB good results are a consequence of the school control mechanisms, longer hours dedicated to studying and lower failure rates; c) most students said they did not have studying habits; d) in the higher IDEB score schools, students opted for more memorization alternatives and study control, in the lowest IDEB score school the most chosen alternative was study elaboration.

L'auto-détermination par la loi : Kant et la question du sujet / The self-determination given by the law : Kant and the problem of subjectivity

Homma, Yoshihiro 13 April 2012 (has links)
The purpose of this research aims at demonstrating that there is a specific conception of the Self in Kant. According to the author, the fundamental of the subjectivity in Kant can be found in the free will acting under the law that it gives to itself. For Kant the moral law is the law I give to myself. Nevertheless, the law is understood as an imperative that I give to myself by using the second person, that is to say that one is addressed by the moral law under the imperative form " you must ". It means that I consider myself as the "you" to whom the law is addressed. To me, the law is an imperative addressed by the other person, that is to say an imperative coming from outside. Thus, it might be possible to consider that when I give to myself the law it is the same as if I obey the other law, which is addressed to me with the second person? Or, shall we say that I consider myself as the other person who obeys the law? By the term “the other”, the author means the internal otherness existing in the action of self-determination resulting from the law. This is related to the question of identifying the enlightenment of the other’s status, which is involved in the action of self- determination given by the law. Although I have to deal with myself in the self-determination given by the law, the other is involved in the relation that opposes myself, when I give to myself the law, to me as the subject who obeys the law. The subjectivity might be interpreted as the test of the otherness existing in the Self. The fact that I consider myself as “the other” in the self-determination given by the law, can be seen as the test of the otherness existing in the Self and this is what the author aims at clarifying based on his works on Kant’s thoughts.

The present work aims at the study of the moral development in a teenager with high-functioning autism (HFA). It was applied Piaget's work (1930/1995) as the main theoretical basis. The mother, the teacher and the principal of the school where the subject to think about moral dilemmas which were elaborated from themes related to his everyday life. Data analysis show that the subject was in a heteronomic period. Especially when actions involved in these areas. It is considered that difficulties in interaction and in communication, common in autism, its social representation highlighted by the deficiency, and also the non-systematic school interventions in the moral education may be responsible for the characteristics presented by the subject.

L’animation : un moyen de développer les déterminants de l'autonomie des personnes âgées / Animation : A means of developing the determinig factors of the elderly people's autonomy

Robichaud, Anne 21 July 2011 (has links)
The important percentage of elderly persons in our countries is compensated by the fact that they keep a validity and physical and mental capacities that are little different from those of younger generations. But this process should be used as it deserves to be and the capacities of these generations should be used to the best and to a minimum and their role in society should not be downplayed.Louis Ploton writes that «the process of developing autonomy goes through a preliminary methodological stage that consists in refusing to view our elderly persons, with whom we are engaged in a conversation, as subjects who have lost something, to consider them as people that resort to other mechanisms, to other ways of doing things, that use other relational modalities in a given context».We start from the hypothesis that the degree of autonomy of elderly persons (their level of health being the same) is part of an interaction in the exercise of an adequate «leadership», of their degree of motivation and of the quality of their social insertion. That is why we are presenting to you a research-action program, set up within the framework of the clubs of elderly persons (that is Golden Age clubs), in a Canadian province, aiming to use the channel of the «leadership» of the elderly to increase their motivation, to improve their social insertion and their autonomy. We are keen on proposing the animation, on having the elderly take matters into their hands, as a lever that can act positively, in a global way, on the determining factors of autonomy, particularly on motivation and social insertion. That will be based on an argumentative initiative, for the lack of being able to offer formal experimental proofs, in the absence of satisfactory means of measuring the phenomena in interactions.

Kantův kategorický imperativ a jeho kritika u myslitelů 19. století / Kant's Categorical Imperativ and its Critique by Nineteenth Century Philosophers

Vašků, Kateřina January 2011 (has links)
Diploma thesis "Kant's Categorical Imperative and Its Critique by Nineteenth Century Philosophers" deals with a question of Kant's fundamental principle known as the Categorical Imperative or Moral Law. The aim of this work is at first to discuss two other moral principles because of their great impact on Kant seeking the moral principle. These are Hume's moral code called Moral sense and Rousseau' moral views relating to the freedom of individuals. Secondly, to find out how both moral theories did inspire Immanuel Kant. It is necessary to explain strengths of Kant's Formula of the Categorical Imperative especially to emphasise its objectivity and universality. Then the purpose is to show Kant's influence on moral thinking in the nineteenth century. It is necessary to mention philosophers such as Johan Gottlieb Fichte and Bernard Bolzano who focused on critique of the Categorical Imperative.

A ciência nova de Giambattista Vico e o Fenômeno da heteronímia de Fernando Pessoa; personagens da História Ideal Eterna: Alberto Caeiro e a poesia da natureza; Ricardo Reis, o guerreiro esvanecido; Álvaro de Campos nos cursos e recorrências / The new science of Giambattista Vico and the heteronomy phenomenon of Fernando Pessoa; The characters of the Ideal Eternal History: Alberto Caeiro and the Nature poetry; Ricardo Reis the vanished warrior; Álvaro de Campos in the courses and recurrences

Alcantara, Domingos Pedro de 16 April 2015 (has links)
The significant affinity between the reflections of Giambattista Vico and the poetry of Fernando Pessoa is the object of this research because there is a relationship between the poet, the man who created heteronyms, and the other man who was the philosopher of History and Human Nature. Vico has reclaimed from the ancient Egyptians that the mankind went through three stages of evolution: the age of gods, age of heroes and the age of men. Meanwhile he brings an innovation: it all began in the same time. In a spread out in spiral form, the History evolves into steady returns: this sequence of stages Vico called Ideal Eternal History, pierced by courses and recurrences. The goal of the current research is to highlight that the heteronyms is the poetic synthesis of the Ideal Eternal History. As a basis of this study we have The New Science, the Italian authors masterpiece, which discusses about the myth as science of the archaic peoples and the axiom verum ipsum factum. It first addresses the time of Vico, his life and training in studies, to understand the opinion against Cartesian perspective. For that the Vicos theory is explained, it distinguishes four types of knowledge: Science, Consciousness, Universal Truths, and Historical Knowledge. It appears that the Neapolitan thinker had reasonable grounds to support their assertions, given that anticipated modern anthropology. From this observation we find in History a discipline which gives support in literary analysis. In spite of being an author of twentieth century, Pessoa is eternal in the ideal history of Literature and its immortality was made in the construction of poets who make up a whole humanity. Caeiro, Reis and Campos should not be read separately, but in the relationship between them because they constitute a unit that complements one another, in a cyclical unfolding that reproduces the evolution of the human consciousness. The parallel between the life of a subject of the human race and mankind itself is settles forming a poetic vision of the elements of the historical narrative. The archaic man possessed great power of senses and stout fantasy so being careful not to get carried away by crystallization we notice that the verses of Alberto Caeiro refer to concrete poetry as the language and thought of the first man who saw things with the dazzle of the first order. Ricardo Reis is the aristocracy to which corresponds the second age, the heroes, the solemnity of the epic spirit contained in Odes. Finally Álvaro de Campos is the poet of recurrences, of the barbarity and the age men of the epistolary Western civilization. It is concluded that the heteronyms as well as the three ages are a cycle in the sense that forms a sequence of courses and recurrences. Paradoxical as everything in Pessoa because we have a first, a second and a third that originate all together, simultaneously. The viconian\'s perspective confirms the heteronyms feature an apparent diversity but their world is in fact a uni-verse. We find also new possibilities to reading the poetry of heteronyms.

Par-delà l'écran : dimension physique et espace numérique / Beyond the screen : physical dimension and digital space

Burczykowski, Ludovic 09 December 2014 (has links)
In digital arts, a practice is being developed by an increasing number of creators. This practice puts in relation an immaterial projected digital image, with a material medium, generally non standardized, that ensures a certain kind of independence or autonomy towards the image. In these creations, it’s about starting from a distinction, an opposition or a distance between a virtual element and a physical element, and by moving it closer, make emerging a sense that this type of creation is becoming susceptible to carry. Becoming a specific way to express a relationship to the word, this articulation is a way to express sensible world with its own singularity and specificities. The purpose of this thesis is to outline various approaches for creation, methods of implementation, and potential mechanisms of perception when this meeting between image, object and scene is on. Not only to understand the reason of the expansion of this growing practice in the early 21st century, but also to guide some possible working areas for productions or analysis of art works.

January 2007 (has links)
