Un voyage inattendu : la réception de l'oeuvre de François Mauriac en Chine / An Unexpected Journey : the reception of François Mauriac's work in China

Zhan, Yi 09 February 2018 (has links)
From 1936 to the present day, François Mauriac's work has more than 80 years of history in China. In the eyes of the French, it is unexpected this long trip to China of Mauriac, classic writer, regionalist and even old-fashioned ... The present work is to draw a historical record of his reception in China through translation and academic study, highlight the characteristics of his trip to China in different periods, analyze his particular image attributed by Chinese readers, while seeking the causes in the literary, social and cultural, and finally highlight the place of François Mauriac and of his work in the history of French literature received in China.

Duarte, Ulisses Corrêa January 2016 (has links)
This multi-sited ethnography analyzes three distinct carnival poles, through the exchanges circuits established among them. The main purpose of the thesis is to comprehend how the different cultural configurations in carnivals of Samba Schools of Rio de Janeiro, the Pampas region (in three cities, Uruguaiana in southern Brazil, Paso de Los Libres in Argentina and Artigas in Uruguay) and a Samba School in the Notting Hill Carnival (London/UK) communicate and involve themselves in intercultural relations, globalism and hybridism between carnivals. The relations among the carnivals allow the dissemination of their competitive productions, the circulation of persons and objects that cross borders, based on the dimension of translocality. These carnivals are intertwined and dialogue with the Rio carnival in exchanging and negotiating circuits, promoting encounters, connections, intense professionals circulation, material flows, knowledge and expertise between among its local contexts.

Prosazování inspiračních zdrojů asijského divadla ve tvorbě Jiřího Frejky / Asian Inspirations in the Works of Jiří Frejka over Time

Burešová, Denisa January 2018 (has links)
Traditional Asian theatre genres have fascinated western audiences since the end of the 19th century. In my thesis, I focused on the means by which Jiří Frejka, a leading representative of Czech avant- garde theatre, dealt with that trend. Through Japanese, Chinese and Indian texts, he verifies new possibilities of all elements of theatre production - the stage, music and, primarily, the actor and his voice and movement. Thanks to prompt books, photographs, reviews and other materials from Frejka's estate stored in the National Museum, the archive of the National Theatre and the Moravian Museum in Brno, I assess these individual elements of theatre production in connection with traditional Asian genres and I seek mutual parallels, sources of inspiration and, primarily, the manner in which Frejka adapted them to his own directorial work. The objective of this work is to confirm the previous thesis that, in the case of Jiří Frejka, deeper study of the topic led to a fundamental shift in the manner of bringing these "foreign" sources of inspiration into the Czech environment, which moved away from a merely decorative function toward an internally linked and well-founded method. Key words Czech theatre avant-garde, Asagao, Modern Studio, Lady Precious Stream, Shakuntala, The Post Office

Le roman et le mouvant : essai sur l'oeuvre romanesque d'Edouard Glissant et Jean-Marie Gustave Le Clézio / The novel and the "mouvant" : essay on the novelistic work of Edouard Glissant and Jean-Marie Gustave Le Clézio

Koumba, Jean Steiner 07 December 2017 (has links)
The usual contemporary novel appears as the place of a double questioning: the first is linked to its form, and the second drives to a long interrogation on a world marked by great anthropological, political, cultural and social upheavals. For Glissant and Le Clézio this interrogation takes the form of an everlasting questioning on the concept of the world and this can be seen along all theirs novels. Thereby, the present thesis investigates the mechanisms and the stakes of the art of the novel compared to the concept of "mouvant". This work treats about the deconstruction of the usual form and the structure of the novel driving to a new approach of the novel allowing, at the same time, to glimpse the complexity of the world. This complexity can be seen in the novel through the mechanisms of the counterpoint which allows the mixing of narrative voices, forms, characters, genres or even worlds. To speak about a poetics of " mouvant" it is necessary to consider the multidimensional aspect of the concept of the living being, as well as the links between individuals presented both as producers of cultures and as themselves a product of cultures. Thus, the concept of "mouvant" takes a political orientation of the world. This concept exalts, neither the denaturation of the individual nor the loss or the dilution of his identity, but the propensity to see the other one in his difference, as a part of a complex whole, and ultimately the idea of “Difference in unity” and “Unity in difference”, which allows us to go beyond the simple juxtaposition of cultures. Therefore, the concept of "mouvant" becomes the other name of the mixing, the complexity of the world and the interculturalism.

Conexões da interculturalidade: cidades, educação, política e festas entre Sateré-Mawé do Baixo Amazonas / Intercultural connections: cities, education, politics and festivities among Sateré-Mawé from Lower Amazonas

Ana Leticia de Fiori 03 August 2018 (has links)
This thesis was carried out within the scope of the Group of Urban Ethnology of the Centre of Urban Anthropology (USP), discussing the intertwining of education, city and politics from Sateré-Mawés experiences with Higher Education. This work is based on bibliographic, documental research, interviews and, mainly, on the ethnography carried out individually and together with other GEU researchers, which co-participation occurred on the field as well as producing collective field reports. The ethnography focus on the city of Parintins AM (lower Amazon River), on the Parintins Intercultural Pedagogy class (2009-2014) from the University of the State of Amazonas UEA, and their practices between the cities and villages from Andirá-Marau Indigenous Land, mainly the village of Ponta Alegre. Along its five chapters, the ethnography carried out among the Sateré-MAwé is presented in face of discussions about anthropological analytical models of subjects such as city, culture and interculturality, knowledge networks, indigenous higher education, state, politics from and concerning indigenous peoples and festivities. I explore the partial connections engendered by the presence of Sateré-Mawé academics at the university and their circulation between institutions (schools, public offices, etc.), practices (teaching, politics, leisure), events (school fairs, academic events, festivities, soccer) and modes of knowledge and enunciation. I present reflections that had emerged in the dialogue with Sateré-Mawé about the relations engendered by the device of interculturalism, such as their interpretations of the Boi Bumbá Folkloric Festival, the major economic activity in Parintins; and of the project of a Wará Free Academy, the indigenous university proposed by the Sateré-Mawé Producer Consortium. I discuss how they frame their goals of getting a white people education in their cosmopolitics, regarding the Emperors Myth, the guarana system of knowledge and the Tucandeira Dance. The Emperor is a character related to historic events and to the sateré-mawé ability of pacifying and channel whites potencies, now placed on university curriculum and diplomas. The Sateré-Mawé are children of guarana, a teacher plant that turns the warrior ethos into the diplomatic use of good words, necessary to the teachers formation. The chants of Tucandeira, the most known festivity of the Sateré-Mawé, brings the sehay pooty (good words), teaching the dancing youth that bears the pain of the ant gloves. More than diacritics of an indigenous identity, those myths and rites form a complex system of knowledges that outline the Sateré-Mawé understandings of their agencies in the contemporaneity.

No. of bitstreams: 1 lucilacarneiroguadelupe.pdf: 5456055 bytes, checksum: 8181b564e1c2ae56dfee3c0ee197c1c0 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2014-10-20 / The presen t study, which is situated in the Linguistics area - Linguistics and Language Teaching, aims to verify whether the guidelines indicated in the official documents articulate with the intercultural proposals presented by the textbook . In general terms, throu gh an analysis of textbooks, we observed whether interculturality is present in the book and whether the work that has been done with discursive genres takes into consideration an intercultural perspective. We verified if a dialogue between cultures, the c ulture s of the target language and Brazilian culture s , exists considering not only the Peninsular Spanish, but also the presence of Hispanic - America in the teaching materials. We aimed to establish a correlation between the interculturality approach and th e proposals presented by official documents. In order to do that, the corpus analysis was done based on: genre theories, especially , Bakhtin's propositions (1979/2010; 1929/1995), and the concept of culture and interculturality by Aguilera Reija et al , (20 09). We also used as research sources official documents that view language teaching as culture. This study demonstrated that the discourse genres found in the textbook “ Enlaces: español para jóvenes brasileños”, more specifically in the section “ Más cosa s‖, portray representative subjects for the culture s of young people in terms of sociocultural experiences, and also allow a reflection on the construction of meanings in an interculturality perspective. The obtained results also confirmed that the proposa ls presented by the collection, in their majority, are consistent and make the intercultural function of genres clear, mainly, of those that effectively circulate in the social world. Concerning the impacts for future research, this study intends to supply subsidies for the (re)cognition of the importance that must be giv en to the intercultural perspective , considering, primarily, the didactic - pedagogical proposals presented by textbooks and their use in the classroom.

A LEI 13.123/15 ENQUANTO MECANISMO DE TUTELA DA BIODIVERSIDADE BRASILEIRA E O PROTOCOLO DE NAGOIA / THE LAW 13.123/15 AS PROTECTION MECHANISM OF BRAZILIAN BIODIVERSITY AND THE PROTOCOL NAGOYA

Gössling, Luciana Manica 30 March 2016 (has links)
The Convention on Biological Diversity, designed in 1992, was intended to protect the conservation and sustainable use of biological diversity and the equitable fair distribution of benefits from the utilization of genetic resources ( English term, "ABS"). The third objective remains not sufficiently cleared and the countries felt the need to legislate on the subject before the eminent importance of the rights arising from the exploitation of genetic resources and traditional knowledge associated with them and the transboundary damage from predatory exploitation. Countries faced with a growing biodiversity degradation in an uncontrolled and a reduction of fauna and flora form. They start question the exploratory use and necessary preservation of sociobiodiversity for future generations based on interculturalism, and the effect of such rights in social harvest, cultural, political and economic. To address such conflicts on the international scene came the Nagoya Protocol, and in Brazil, Law 13.123/ 2015. Both laws walked in the same direction, with flexible access to traditional knowledge and biodiversity, striving for expansion of research and innovation. The literature search was performed using the deductive method, lying on the theme Rights Research Line Sociobiodiversity and Sustainability. The Nagoya Protocol left the national legislation up to each country, bringing minimum dictates. Brazil has not ratified but implemented specific legislation that included the protection of genetic resources and associated traditional knowledge, however, gave way to exploratory mean.

"Diskursi o ženama Boke Kotorske: rodni identiteti (1815-2015)" / "The Discourses on Women from Boka Kotorska: Gender Identities (1815-2015)"

Dabižinović Ervina 07 February 2018 (has links)
Podaci su djelatni i za osnivanje Muzeja žena u Crnoj Gori.</p> / <p>It seems that dispersion and scarcity of information about women&rsquo;s contribution to emancipation in Boka Kotorska may support the stereotypical image of women being passive and moved to a private sphere. The aim of the research is to collect, select and classify the information about the institutions for education of women, women&rsquo;s associations and individual contributions of women to emancipation and equality in Boka Kotorska over the period of two centuries (1815-2015). Identities of women in certain time and space have been in focus of attention<br />Hypotesis 1: There is plenty of information about women&rsquo;s accomplishments in Boka Kotorska for the period between 1815 -2015, dispersed through various resources, hence insufficiently accessible to the public. Three methods of analysis are the method of discourse analysis; intersectional analysis and the method of life stories. The sample includes three types of empirical materials: 1. Biographies of individual women (21 in total); 2. Biographies of women&rsquo;s associations ( 6 in total); 3. Biographies of schools for women (5 in total). The analysis of women&rsquo;s biographies comprises 6 components of personal identity (childhood, marriage and family, professional identity, gender sensitive language (GSL), the decade of nineties in 20th century, membership in various associations). The results of the research show that the individuals, women&rsquo;s associations and schools for women, have considerably contributed to the overall emancipation of society in Boka Kotorska , but the evidence of the same has not been fully disclosed to the general intellectual and academic public. The crucial result is the one about women formatting their identities in accordance with the needs and benefits of society through various creative activities in Boka Kotorska in the period of two centuries. Herefor, I conclude that these systematized empirical data will be valuable for the evaluation of women&rsquo;s accomplishments in the period of two centuries in Boka Kotorska, but elsewhere too. All the pieces of information are relevant to be used in educational process at various levels, starting from the primary and secondary schools, and especially important for the interdisciplinary gender studies at the universities in Montenegro and in the region. It is possible to use them effectively in founding the Museum of Women in Montenegro.</p>
