Patsouras, Christian January 2020 (has links)
In this scientific essay, as a leisure-time teacher and a resource teacher, I will explore a dilemma that involves students with adolescent neuropsychiatry and that needs support. The dilemma will be analyzed from my own reflections, theories and scientific studies that arerelevant. The central part of the essay is regarding special education, with the scientific studies, that is crucial to work with students with adolescent neuropsychiatry. The school's curriculum that controls the classroom and special education for students with adolescent neuropsychiatry also has its part in the essay. The interplay between the teacher and the resource teacher is built on cooperation and is alsoa part of this essay. The cooperation is described and the possibilities and conditions for it. Consequences when obstacles for cooperation occur. When there is a lack of cooperation animbalance of power could occur and contributes to the hierarchy that occurs in school. To enable and contribute to a good cooperation between the leisure-time teacher and the teacherthe school management plays a big part in to define the job description for the leisure-timeteacher in the classroom and with working with students with adolescent neuropsychiatry. The curriculum involving leisure-time teachers should also be defined to understand the expectations and the job description. The role as a leisure-time teacher and a resources teacher is complex. The role is limited due to lack of competence to work with students with adolescent neuropsychiatry. This combined with the lack of a clear job description contributes to the lack of conditions for an cooperation that is optimal. Furthermore this contributes to different status and an imbalance in power thatis present in schools.

: En studie om den vardagliga verkligheten för lärare i fritidshem med behörighet i bildämnet / Teachers in leisure-time centre – can I only be titled teachers when I teach school subjects? : A study on the everyday reality of teachers with qualifications in the subject

Lindfors, Eva January 2019 (has links)
The historical background and previous research on my subject refers to a certain uncertainty in a professional teacher's professional identity that still remains. The difficulty is excreted in ignorance in leading fields and uninteresting colleagues in between. My aim of the study is to gain an insight into the activities at the leisure home and how teachers view their professional role as well as how they take on the dual assignments that the identification in the school subject entails. I have chosen a qualitative method for my interviews and my selection was six teachers in leisure-time centres working in schools around Stockholm. I have used Roger Saljö's interpretation of socio-cultural theory, whose basic idea is that learning takes place in interaction between a group of people and an individual. My research shows that there are external factors that govern and influence the leisure teacher's choices and conditions and that the traditional school is prioritized. Despite the teachers' uncertainty about what their professional identity should be called in the leisure home, the image education has nevertheless strengthened their self-confidence and how they today teach the students.

Strandberg Ramos, Martin, Ytterskog Leander, Sasha January 2023 (has links)
The purpose of this study is to contribute to research relating to the perspective of what students consider important to conduct the leisure-time centre so as to ensure a meaningful leisure time. The focus of the study in in highlighting the views and opinions of the students. Earlier research is based on different studies, which focus on questions such as students development, students views on transitions and students social experiences. In this study the result is analyzed through a theoretical framework based on various theories of play. The three main theories consist of didactic positions, the effects of the environment on students' state of being, and the purpose of play. The method used for this study consisted of eight qualitative, semistructured interviews conducted in groups of three students from the third grade, performed at two schools. By analyzing the result, three aspects could be discerned as important for the students, which forms the basis for the studies discussion. These three aspects are the importance of an inviting and appealing environment, the possibilities for a social community, and the role of the teacher as a figure for safety in the everyday running of the leisure-time center. Furthermore, it can be discerned that play is a central aspect, which permeates everything which the students request from the leisure-time center.

The Possibilities of collaboration : A study on the Swedish school and Leisure-time Center´s collaborative assignment and its importance for education

Aringskog, Tim, Hedlund, Mathilda January 2022 (has links)

The versatile assignment : Leisure-time educators aimed at both school and leisure-time

Molina, Enzo, Truedsson, Veronica January 2017 (has links)
The historical background and previous studies on our subject point to a recurrent problem in the leisure education sector. The problem consists of an ambiguous view of how the leisuretime educators should interpret or perceive their assignment. The purpose of the study is therefor to investigate the goal-oriented actions performed by leisure-time educators, in different contexts. Thus we develop our own definition of the assignment through these goaloriented actions. We have chosen to carry out a field work of ethnographic character based on observations that have taken place in a school. This method is linked to our theory, Roger Säljö's interpretation of socio-cultural theory, which is based on the practical that´s emerging through communicative and physical actions. Furthermore we have completed informal conversations when we have wished to clarify the leisure-time educator’s actions. Our study shows that the leisure-time educators execute a versatile assignment which, depending on the situation, uses four different ways of working. These approaches vary in terms of both school and leisure-time. We do not perceive the task of the leisure-time educators as ambiguous as previous studies have shown. Our results, on the other hand, show that leisure-time educators perform a clear assignment that is both goal-oriented and versatile.

Rozvíjení matematických znalostí a dovedností ve volnočasových aktivitách / Mathematical knowledge and skills development in leisure time activities

Bartlová, Helena January 2018 (has links)
The thesis is aimed on the mathematical knowledge and skills development in leisure time activities. The theoretical part of the thesis is dedicated to leisure time, pedagogy of leisure time, out-of-school education - its content, functions and requirements for realization of out-of-school education. This part of the thesis is also dedicated to the motivation and its use in leisure time activities and development of mathematical knowledge in leisure activities. Based on this information and on my own experience, I worked out and introduced the prin- ciples for preparing leisure time activities developing mathematical knowledge and skills. Following is a compilation of leisure time activities that develop knowledge and skills in geometry, arithmetic, algebra, logical thinking, or geometric imagination. The compilation contains activities suitable for relaxing, recreational and hobby activities. The practical part includes a case study of the Textile Applications activity, which deals with consolidation and development of knowledge in axial symmetry within the leisure time sewing ring. The case study verified if participants in this activity developed knowledge in axial symmetry, if the activity respects the requirements for out-of-school education and if it improves belief in the applicability of...

Jak by moje dítě mělo trávit volný čas? (náhled do představ rodičů dětí předškolního věku) / How should my child spend leisure time? (view into parental opinions of preschool children´s parents) .

STRNADOVÁ, Ladislava January 2014 (has links)
This thesis represents the different theoretical concept of leisure time set in a historical context. Presents an overview of researches in the area of spending leisure time and parents´ opinions on leisure activities of their children. This thesis deal with social determinants of spending leisure time. Also includes a view of leisure time as a tool for educational action. The research is focused at parents of preschool children. It examines parents´ perceptions of the ideal way in which their children spend their leisure time. The research asks parents what they consider as a leisure time, determinants of spending leisure time. Further asks for what parents prefer or vice versa reject like a way of spending leisure time and what they consider as suitable or unsuitable activities of leisure time.

Fritidspedagogers handlingsrepertoar : Pedagogiskt arbete med barns olika relationer

Dahl, Marianne January 2014 (has links)
This thesis aims to make a contribution to our current understanding regarding leisure-time pedagogues’ work with children’s relationships. Here focus is placed on the collective action repertoire as expressed by two different groups of leisure-time pedagogues. The research questions addressed are:   How do leisure-time pedagogues work with children’s relationships and how do they view such relationships? What communities do they identify? What qualities in children’s relationships do they regard as desirable?  The theoretical framework of this study is based on Wenger’s (1998) social theory regarding learning in communities of practice, as well as Gergen’s theory of relationships as an inevitable part of human existence. Consequently, within this thesis relationships are viewed as mainly negotiated and are therefore dynamic in character. The methodological approach is ethnographic, focusing on leisure-time pedagogues’ work with and talk about children’s relationships. The study is based on data derived from eight leisure-time pedagogues divided into two different work teams of four pedagogues, covering two different leisure-time centres and involving 60 children of 6-11 years of age.   Final analysis is based on concepts derived from both Wenger’s and Gergen’s theories, for example; action repertoire, relational qualities, communities of practice and shared interests. Results suggest that the communities of practice and the alliances that pedagogues identify are often gender-related and built on common interests. The pedagogues’ action repertoire illustrates a desire to facilitate encounters between children and promote harmonious relationships. Leisure-time pedagogues support relationships characterized by consensus, respect, confidence and adaptation to rules, whereas those marked by conflict, disharmony, breaking rules or aggressions are counteracted. Various notions emerge in pedagogues’ action repertoire based on normative thinking, where different relational competences are ascribed to children. Some children are described as relationally competent while other children, who do not adapt themselves in a desirable manner, are described as having difficulties adjusting their relational competence. The results also reveal a lack of guidelines for handling the variety of differences in children’s relationships and display the lack of a common professional language for verbalizing children’s relational work.

Role učitele primární školy při výběru volnočasových aktivit dětí mladšího školního věku / Primary school teacher's role when choosing leisure time activities for children of first grades of primary schools

Kašparová, Renata January 2011 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of how teachers influence the choice of leisure time activities of children of first grades of primary school. The aim is to track in which way a teacher can influence the process. The theoretical background of the thesis are notions, such as leisure time, the characteristics and progress of young school children and the atmosphere in which young children spend their leisure time. Theinfluences are analyzed that form children and affect the way they spend their lemure time. Particular attention is paid to the role of a primary school teacher and the ways in which they can influence their pupils' leisure time. The practical part compares leisuretime activities of children in Prague and in a small town.
