151	”Titta!” : En multimodal interaktionsanalys av hur barn i femårsåldern använder och bemöter uppmärksamhetssökande språkliga praktiker under fri lek / ”Look!” : A multimodal interaction analysis of how five-year-old children use and respond to attention-seeking linguistic practices during free play Flodström, Molly January 2023 (has links) Delad uppmärksamhet och affective stances är viktiga sociala verktyg och fundamentala moment vid barn–barn-interaktion. Syftet med den genomförda studien var att undersöka hur femåringar använder sig av och bemöter samtalsturer innehållande uppmärksamhetssökande språkliga praktiker under fri lek, samt hur de modifierar dessa samtalsturer för att presentera förhöjda affective stances. För att uppnå studiens syfte observerades och transkriberades videomaterial som skildrar barn i femårsåldern som leker i par om två. Innehållet i detta transkriberade material studerades på två vis. Först räknades antalet förekomster av uppmärksamhetssökande språkliga praktiker och uppmärksamhetssökande samtalsturer samt de olika sorters responser som barnen gav på dessa. Sedan utfördes en multimodal interaktionsanalys på särskilt intressanta sekvenser ur materialet. Studiens resultat visade att barnen i huvudsak använde sig av vokativer och ”kolla på”-direktiv för att rikta sina lekkamraters uppmärksamhet, medan ingressiver och diskurspartiklar med appellerande moment var minst vanligt förekommande. Den vanligaste formen av respons på barnens uppmärksamhetssökande samtalsturer var kortfattade, minimala responser, medan utvecklade responser var minst vanliga. När det kommer till hur barnen modifierade sina uppmärksamhetssökande yttranden för att presentera förhöjda affective stances visade det sig att de i samtliga fall använde sig av hög tonhöjd och hög röststyrka, och i varierande utsträckning använde resurser som leenden, blickriktning, förlängningar, stigande intonation, betoning, hastighet, pauser och interjektioner. 152	Birdpoetic Worlds : Sensing the more-than-human worlds through Nina Södergren's bird poems Sunnebo, Jessica January 2023 (has links) This thesis, Birdpoetic Worlds: Sensing the more-than-human worlds through Nina Södergren’s bird poems, analyses a selection of poems by Swedish poet Nina Södergren (1924–2015) from the collection Högt ärade trana: Nya dikter och urval av tidigare poesi* (2012), through the lens of ecocriticism and animism. The aim is to identify and explore how her bird poetics can function as an invitation to sense a relational experience and interconnectedness with the more-than-human world, especially through attentiveness. Examples of bird poetry by a small selection of different poets will be explored to provide a broader context of the genre. The analyses will be followed by reflections about going beyond the written human language, transitioning from reading to listening, immersing in nature’s soundscapes, and experiencing it attentively firsthand. It explores the different linguistic, poetic, and embodied approaches, and what these mean for interconnectedness will be discussed. 153	Gör oss levande igen : En undersökning om hur teologi kan göras genom att dansa / Make us alive again : An inquiry into how theology can be done through dancing Andelius Sjöström, Karin January 2023 (has links) In this essay I explore how dance can be interpreted as a theological practice. I stage an encounter between the lived experience of the dancer’s body and word-based tradition of theological discourse. This encounter between the word and the image of dance reveals the limitations of theological discourse to account adequately for the full range of human and creaturely experience that have its sources in colonialism and imperialism. This paper argues that introducing the image of dance and the lived experience of the dancer into theological discourse then will serve to reduce the effects of these dangerous prejudices. This essay will use two of Simone Weil's most well-known concepts, attention and presence. They will serve as the interpretive bridge for a dialogue between dance and theology. I will focus on the experience of dancing and explain how this subjective, embodied practice of movement can enhance theology. At a time of great instability and uncertainty globally with ecological crises, racial injustice, and economic disparity on one hand and the rise of anxiety, depression, loneliness, and despair on the other hand, it is important that we find new ways to cultivate inner peace and encourage responsible action. And important way to do this is to welcome the creative opportunities of instability and uncertainty, of the unknown and the unexplored. Dance and theology—in collaboration and conversation—can offer useful resources for cultivating these practices that allow us to meet these challenges with faith, hope, and love. Syftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka självskattad exekutiv funktion som ett alternativt mått för att utvärdera effekter av kognitiv träning. Som utfallsmått valdes The behavior rating inventory of executive functioning - self report (BRIEF-SR). Vidare användes blandad design med för- och eftermätning samt tre oberoende grupper. Gymnasieelever (n = 63) delades in i; aktiv träningsgrupp, aktiv placebogrupp och passiv kontrollgrupp. Tränings- och placebogruppen genomförde datoriserad kognitiv träning med respektive utan adaptiv svårighetsgrad. ANCOVA med arbetsminneskapacitet som kovariat visade inga signifikanta träningseffekter på självskattade exekutiva funktioner, oavsett grupptillhörighet. Sammantaget kan BRIEF-SR vara ett lämpligt instrument vid utvärdering av kognitiv träning när ekologisk validitet prioriteras. Resultaten diskuteras avseende inverkan av tid mellan för- och eftermätning, population och förväntanseffekter. / Performance based measures have been the Golden standard when evaluating effects of cognitive training. By using The Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Functioning-Self Report (BRIEF-SR), this thesis aimed to explore self- rating scales as an alternative when evaluating effects of cognitive training. A sample of high school students (n = 63) and a mixed- effect model with pre- and post-measurements were chosen. The students were divided into three groups: active training, training with placebo or passive control. The two groups in training practiced with a computerized cognitive training program. The two training groups practiced with an adaptive and non-adaptive computer program, respectively. With working memory as covariate ANCOVA reported no significant effects on self-rated executive functions independent of group condition. In sum, if ecological validity is of priority BRIEF-SR can be considered when measuring effects following cognitive training.
