A máquina universal, ideia proposta por Alan Turing em 1936, seria uma máquina capaz de computar e executar qualquer máquina computável, vindo a ser tomada como um dos modelos abstratos do computador. Colocamos como problema a questão de saber o que pode uma máquina universal. Propomos dois modos de abordar a constituição de um pensamento sobre máquinas universais. O primeiro modo será desenvolvido através da construção de redes, no sentido que lhes é dado pela Teoria Ator-Rede. Com as redes teceremos uma narrativa histórica da máquina universal, com o intuito de mostrar que não há uma máquina universal, mas uma multiplicidade de máquinas, cada uma ligada e produzida por determinados coletivos que agregam as mais diversas forças, alianças e controvérsias envolvendo atores humanos e não-humanos. Esta história será realizada, primeiro, no âmbito de lógica e da matemática, e posteriormente em sua relação com linguagens de programação, engenharia de software e software livre. O segundo modo de constituição de um pensamento acerca de máquinas universais será dado por dobras, entendidas como procedimentos pelos quais o tempo dobrado, aproximando problemas, temporalidades e conceitos. Nas dobras a máquina universal será problematizada primeiro em sua relação com o pensamento na obra de Turing, segundo com o problema da interação e seus paralelos com as mônadas fechadas e abertas e, em terceiro, na relação estabelecida com a subjetividade através da figura do daemon e da concepção de uma cognição estendida. / The idea of "universal machine" was proposed by Alan Turing in 1936. The universal machine would be a machine able of computing and executing any computable machine, being taken as one abstract model of the computer. As a problem, we put the question about what can a universal machine do. We propose two ways to approach the creation of a thought about universal machines. The first mode will be developed through the construction of networks, in the sense given to them by the Actor-Network Theory. With the networks we will weave a historical narrative of the universal machine, in order to show that there is not a universal machine, but a multitude of machines, each linked and produced by certain groups that congregate the most diverse forces, alliances and disputes involving human and nohuman actors. This history will be made, first, in the context of logic and mathematics, and later in its relation to programming languages, software engineering and open source software. The second mode of thinking about universal machines will be made through folds, understood them as procedures by which time is folded, approaching problems, concepts and temporality. In the folds the universal machine will be problematized first in its relationship with the thought in the work of Turing, second, with the problem of interaction and its parallels with the open and closed monads and, thirdly, the relationship established with the subjectivity through the daemon figure and the concept of extended cognition.

O presente trabalho de tese consiste em uma abordagem ao problema do fundamento da subjetividade na fenomenologia a partir da hipótese interpretativa de que podemos identificar neste um movimento que se desdobra na transformação da concepção inicial de subjetividade constituinte na questão da constituição da subjetividade. A leitura aqui proposta assume a premissa de que essa transformação tem por base as modificações do programa inicial da fenomenologia em novos paradigmas metodológicos nos quais o método se volta para uma abordagem ontológica, e que é a partir desta que temos o problema posto então não mais nos termos da subjetividade como fundamento do conhecimento mas do problema ontológico do ser da subjetividade. O caminho que as análises aqui propostas pretendem apresentar é assim a tentativa de responder a questão de como se torna possível uma ontologia do sujeito na fenomenologia. / The present work of thesis consists of an approach to the problem of the foundation of subjectivity in phenomenology from the interpretative hypothesis that we can identify in this a movement that unfolds in the transformation of the initial conception of constituent subjectivity in the question of the constitution of subjectivity. The reading here proposed assumes the premise that this transformation is based on the modifications of the initial program of phenomenology in new methodological paradigms in which the method turns to an ontological approach, and that is from this that we have the problem put then no more In terms of subjectivity as the basis of knowledge but of the ontological problem of being of subjectivity. The way that the analyzes proposed here intend to present is thus the attempt to answer the question of how an ontology of the subject becomes possible in phenomenology.

Esta tese investiga as relações entre cidade e subjetividade no contexto do bio-capitalismo cognitivo. Parte de quatro figuras subjetivas da crise econômica-antropológica (o endividado, o mediatizado, o securitizado e o representado), apontadas por Antonio Negri e Michael Hardt. A partir delas, fabula o tipo psicossocial do velocizado, figura transversal a todas as outras, elaborada junto a esta pesquisa para melhor mostrar o problema das dinâmicas urbanas e da circulação acelerada no mundo contemporâneo. Utiliza-se do método da dramatização deleuziana como estratégia de enfrentamento da velocização molar, buscando construir perspectivas criativas aos modos de subjetivação contemporâneo na cidade. Entende-se, aqui, a cidade como uma mega-máquina onde coabitam ritmos e movimentos de controle, processos de normalização e distopias catastrofistas, e, ao mesmo tempo, dispersão de práticas de resistências, de fuga das segmentações do poder e de heterotopias desativadoras das axiomáticas do capital. Desativações selvagens, bárbaras e alter-civilizadas são mobilizadas para produzir, em plena fábrica do capitalismo pós-fordista (a cidade) disrupções no comando e outras formas de circulação da subjetividade. Máquinas primitivas, despóticas e cínicas são apresentadas para exercitar heterotopias pedestres de esgotamento do olhar, de miniaturizações portáteis, de reaprendizados para pisotear o mundo, de perseguições de epifanias fugazes. Enigmas do caminhar forjadoras de outras andaduras aceleracionistas. / This thesis investigates the relationship between city and subjectivity in the context of bio-cognitive capitalism. From four subjective figures of the crisis economic-anthropological (the debt, the mediated, the securitized, and the represented), pointed out by Antonio Negri and Michael Hardt. It is analyzed from them the psychosocial type of the individual who experiences a high speed lifestyle, cross figure to all the others, drawn from this research to better show the problem of urban dynamics and accelerated movement in the contemporary world. The method of dramatization of Deleuze as a coping strategy molar speed, seeking to build creative perspectives to contemporary modes of subjectivity in the city. Understanding the city as a mega-machine where cohabit rhythms and movements of control, standardization processes and catastrophic dystopias, and at the same time, dispersion of resistance practices, avoidance of segmentations of power, and deactivating heterotopias of axiomatic of capital. Wild deactivations, barbarous and alter- civilized mobilized to produce in full factory post-Fordist capitalism (the city), disruptions in charge and other forms of subjectivity circulation. O presente trabalho teve como objetivo inicial abordar a questão da subjetividade considerando de um lado, este problema em relação à psicologia, e num segundo momento a discussão sobre a (produção de) subjetividade e devir desenvolvida na obra Deleuze e Guattari (Mil Platôs). Trata-se de entender como é possível articular a crítica dos processos de subjetivação, tal como a realizada pelos autores, com uma idéia de subjetividade, sem com isso desembocar numa psicologia do sujeito. Isto é, que subjetividade é essa, que não se confunde com suas estratificações, e que parece antes a possibilidade de uma vida, sem ser por isso uma subjetividade transcendental, mas um campo de imanência como afirmam os autores? Para respondermos esta questão, consideramos inicialmente o problema da subjetividade tal como ele emerge na psicologia, em razão de seus percursos teórico metodológicos, para num segundo momento - sob o viés dos agenciamentos e dos devires - discutirmos a questão da produção de subjetividade e os processos de singularização. De um lado, temos os agenciamentos maquínicos de corpos e os agenciamentos coletivos de enunciação, que articulando formal e substancialmente conteúdo e expressão atuam dimensionando o campo da experiência: os dispositivos. Por outro lado, temos os devires ou afectos, enquanto linhas de fuga que arrastam a subjetividade para zonas relacionais indiscerníveis que fazem vacilar o Eu na impessoalidade do Acontecimento. Portanto, é no campo das singularidades pré-individuais, nas relações entre forças que se compõe a experiência para além dos limites do perceptível. Ou seja, é a partir do entre-jogo das forças que se esboça a idéia de uma subjetividade (empírico-transcendental), simultaneamente: produto das relações de forças, e o próprio campo de forças que torna possível toda a relação entre as forças. Partindo desta perspectiva, cabe à psicologia fazer a cartografia dos afetos que são imanentes à constituição da subjetividade, segundo a qualidade das linhas (duras, maleáveis ou de fuga) e seus graus de intensidade. Não se trata de conceber uma teoria do sujeito, enquanto subjetividade substancializada no Eu, à moda da idade da representação. Para pensar em uma subjetividade livre do sujeito necessitamos pensá-la sobre o plano de composição das forças que tornam possível sua própria vida, forças estas sempre imanentes à própria experiência sensível com o mundo: hecceidades. O plano de imanência constitui o elemento genealógico da produção do real e que pode ser estudado sinteticamente por uma psicologia levando em conta as conexões, disjunções e conjunções que aí operam. Concluímos acreditando que essa discussão com Deleuze e Guattari poderá contribuir para com a psicologia, abrindo novas veredas, no sentido alçar luz sobre os processos que chamamos de subjetivação-dessubjetivação, tomados por nós como elementos-chave para uma análise da produção de subjetividade no mundo capitalista contemporâneo. / The present work had as its initial goal to approach the matter of subjectivity considering, on one side, that problem related to psychology, and, at a second moment, the discussion about (the production of ) subjectivity and becoming developed in the work of Deleuze e Guattari (A Thousand Plateaus). It is about understanding how it is possible to articulate the criticism of the processes of subjectification, as it is done by the authors, with an idea of subjectivity, without getting to a psychology of the subject, though. That is, what subjectivity is that, which doesnt mix with its stratifications, and that seems more like a possibility of a life, without being, because of that, a transcendental subjectivity, but an immanence field as the authors affirm? To answer that question, we initially considered the problem of subjectivity as it emerges from psychology, because of its theoretical-methodological ways, to, at a second moment based on the approach of agencying and becoming discuss the matter of the production of subjectivity and the processes of sigularisation. On one side, there is the machinic agencying of bodies and the collective agencying of enunciation, which, formally and substantially articulating content and expression, act in dimensioning the field of experience: the mechanisms. On the other side, we have the becomings or affections as lines of escape that drag subjectivity to undiscernible relational zones which make the I vacillate in the impersonality of the Happening. Therefore, it is in the field of pre-individual singularities, in the relations among forces that the experience beyond the limits of the perceivable is composed. That is, it is from the game between forces that the idea of a subjectivity (empirical-transcendental) is drafted, simultaneously: as a product of the relations of forces, and as the field of forces itself, which makes all the relation between the forces possible. From that point of view, it is psychologys role to trace the cartography of affections which are immanent to the constitution of subjectivity according to the quality of the lines (hard, malleable or of escape) and their degrees of intensity. It is not about conceiving a theory of the subject as subjectivity substantialised in the I, in the way of the representation age. To think of a subjectivity free of the subject we need to think of it in terms of the composition of forces that makes its own life possible, those forces always being immanent to the sensitive experience of the world: Hecceities. The ground of immanence constitutes the genealogical element of the production of the real and it can be studied synthetically by a psychology taking into consideration the connections, disjunctions and conjunctions which operate there. We concluded this work believing that this discussion with Deleuze and Guattari will be able to contribute with psychology, opening new ways, in the sense of casting light on the processes that we call subjectivation-dissubjectivation, taken by us as key-elements to an analysis of the production of subjectivity in the contemporary capitalist world.

Este trabalho de pesquisa consiste num esforço teórico com foco de interesse na dinâmica subjetiva vivenciada por bebês em processo de estruturação psíquica ao serem defrontados com a primeira experiência escolar, tendo como referencial a conexão psicanálise e educação. O motivo que inspirou a investigação foi a busca por um pouco de entendimento em relação aos impasses vivenciados nessa passagem. O choro e a dificuldade experimentada pela mãe em confiar seu bebê a alguém desconhecido conferem à entrada da criança na creche um caráter traumático, pois representam uma separação, no discurso corriqueiramente utilizado. Para isso, encontrou-se suporte nas noções de constituição psíquica e de campo do Outro e nas operações lacanianas de alienação e separação que permitiram estabelecer um contraponto entre estruturação subjetiva e noção de desenvolvimento infantil. A partir dessa abordagem e da noção lacaniana de separação como uma operação fundante do psiquismo, foi possível propor uma leitura dos impasses que permeiam a inserção da criança no mundo público como mais uma vicissitude do vir a ser um sujeito. / This research is a theoretical effort focused in the subjective dynamics experienced by infants in psychic structuring process when faced with the first school experience, taking as referential the psychoanalysis and education connection. The reason that inspired the investigation was the search for some understanding about the impasses experienced in this passage. The crying and the difficulty experienced by the mother to trust her baby to someone unknown give a traumatic nature to the entry of the child in the daycare, as it represents a separation, in the routinely used speech. For this, we found support in the notions of psychic constitution and field of the Other and in the Lacanian operations of alienation and separation that allowed establishing a counterpoint between subjective structuring and the concept of child development. Based on this approach and the Lacanian notion of separation as a foundational operation of the psyche, it was possible to propose a reading of the impasses that permeate the inclusion of children in the public world as another vicissitude of becoming a subject.

Nosso corpus constitui-se de algumas páginas publicitárias da Revista Veja do período de Maio a Julho de 2008. A partir dessas propagandas procuramos depreender as regularidades do funcionamento do discurso propagandístico, bem como delimitar as marcas lingüísticas e nãolinguísticas do processo de individualização do sujeito presentes no discurso em questão. A publicidade exerce papel fundamental na sociedade contemporânea, explicitando a relação do sujeito com o conjunto social, em determinada conjuntura histórica. O texto publicitário influencia a constituição de sentidos junto aos leitores, interpelando os mesmos enquanto sujeitos. O discurso publicitário tem um funcionamento que lhe é próprio e que, portanto, lhe dá especificidade. Assim sendo, esse discurso se particulariza, remetendo-nos às formações imaginárias e ideológicas ali presentes. Baseando-se na relação linguagem e contexto, a Análise de Discurso busca explicitar como, em seu funcionamento, o texto produz sentidos, sempre observando as condições de produção. Visa-se, ainda, à compreensão da historicidade dos sentidos e dos sujeitos. No que se refere às regularidades encontradas no funcionamento do discurso propagandístico, percebemos a relação estabelecida entre o sonho, o desejo e a ideologia; a sustentação dos dizeres dos anúncios pela forma-sujeito histórica da atualidade; o atravessamento (tanto no verbal quanto no não-verbal) do discurso publicitário por outros discursos como o ecológico, sobre a beleza, sobre a mulher, da globalização. Quanto às marcas lingüísticas da individualização, apontamos a pronominalização (seu, sua), que individualiza por marcar um certo tipo de abordagem junto... / This dissertation presents an analysis of the individualization process in the advertising discourse, based on the theoretical perspective of Discourse Analysis. The corpus consists of some advertising pages of Veja Magazine from May to July of 2008. Based on the advertisings, this research looked for describe some regularities of advertising discourse working, as well as set out some linguistic and non-linguistic marks of the individualization process in this discourse. Advertising plays a fundamental role in the contemporary society, expliciting the relation between subject and the social set, in certain historical period. Advertising texts influence the construction of meanings , interpellating readers. Advertising discourse has a proper working that particularizes it. So, this discourse is very specific, and reveal the imaginary and ideological formations. Based on the relation between language and context, Analysis Discourse points out, how in its working, text creates some meanings, always observing the production conditions. The aim, even, is to understand the historicity of subjects and meanings. Regarding to the regularities that were found in the advertising discourse there are the relation among dream, desire and ideology; statements of advertising are supported by the historical form-subject; the “crossing” of advertisings by other discourses like environmental, about beauty, about women and globalization discourse. Referring to the linguistic marks of individualization process, there are the pronominalization (your) which individualizes due to a certain kind of reader’s approach; the use of some adjectives (exclusive, personalized) which refers to the reader named as “you”; imperative mood that establishes identification between to say and to do. A presente tese foi desenvolvida no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Informática na Educação-UFRGS e está filiado a linha de pesquisa “Interfaces Digitais em Educação, Arte, Linguagem e Cognição” “Transfotografia: O Píxel em Multidão” circunscreve o conceito de trans com vistas a problematizar a fotografia digital, em processo de manipulação, bem como os sujeitos, que operam tal processo em interação criativa, entendidos sob a luz do conceito de multidão (NEGRI; HARDT, 2005). A tentativa de produzir conhecimento em torno da fotografia digital em seu estado instituinte aponta para uma dimensão múltipla e ambígua e, pode assim, movimentar-se para além de coordenadas lineares: eis o movimento transversal que atravessa toda a discussão proposta. O estudo da imagem fotográfica digital presta-se à transdisciplinariedade localizada, aqui, entre a Psicologia Social, a Informática na Educação e a Filosofia. Colocar a imagem em emergência, em seus universos conceituais e, em sua imanência, requer pensá-la no limite. Tal limite situa-se em cada píxel que abriga a molecularidade que, quando acionada, pode tornar-se diferença e potência para passagem de uma imagem à outra. Pensar a imagem fotográfica digital em estado processual e molecular segue as marcas da subversão da forma, da verdade e da representação, levada por pontos de vista fugidios que constituem, assim, o horizonte desta tese. Este estudo está inscrito em um modo inventivo e experimental de produzir ciência, trazendo à tona um olhar-travessia em uma cartografia que utiliza a transfotografia como passagem para discutir o contemporâneo em algumas de suas faces tecnológicas e de subjetivação. Sua formulação mais precisa, poder-se-ia expressar do seguinte modo: Como a transfotografia pode operar como dispositivo clínico- político na multidão? / The research “Transfotography: The pixel in Multitude” circumscribes the concept of trans with views to render problematic to the digital photography, in process of manipulation, as well as the subjects that operate such process in creative interaction, understood under the light of the concept of multitude (NEGRI; HARDT, 2005). The attempt to produce knowledge based on the digital photograph in its institutive estate points towards a multiple and ambiguous dimension and, therefore, being able to move beyond the linear coordinates: thus the transversal movement that surpasses all the discussion proposed. The subjects in cooperation that operate the transphotography are understood as the former of only one body joined to the technological possibilities of expression and eclosion of difference. We want with this make feasible the reinvenction of the viewed and have the possiblity to view images that carry the marks of the impersonal and of the alterity. The study of the digital photographic image deals with the localized trandisciplinarity, here, among the Social Psychology, the Computer Science in Education and the Philosophy. Put the image to emerge, in its conceptual universes and in its immanence, requires to think of it in the limit. Such limit is in each pixel that holds the molecularity that, when put in action, can become the difference and the potency for the passage of one image to the other. To think the digital fotographic image in processual estate and, therefore, molecular following the marks of the subversion of form, of the truth and of the representation, taken by escaping points of view is the horizon of this research. This study, then, is inscribed in an inventive and experimental way to produce science, bringing up a crossing-view in a cartography that uses the transphotography as passage to discuss contemporaneous in some of its technological faces and of subjectivation. Its most precise formulation could be expressed this way: How the transphotografy can operate like dispositive clinical-political in multitude?

Em virtude de seus objetivos e de suas condições de produção, a impessoalidade e a generalização nele predominam, mesmo assim, é possível detectar marcas formais de autoria em várias partes do texto. A linguagem é sempre subjetiva, constrói a realidade, no sentido de jamais poder ser neutralizada. O homem, o autor, é sempre intermediário e, como tal, manipula o discurso ao seu dispor. Neste trabalho, então, não se visa procurar o subjetivo (a autoria) em contraste com um possível discurso objetivo; intenta-se, na verdade, mostrar estratégias linguísticas de evidenciar a autoria, de explicitá-la na sua relação com as pessoas do discurso / Editorial is considered an argumentative text, and has as main characteristic to show the point of view of a Journal about the most commented facts at the present time. Considering the goals of the text and the conditions of its production, we can see the predominance of impersonality and generalization in that. Even though, it is possible to take formal elements that indicate authorship through the text. The language is always subjective and builds reality, in the sense it is never neutral. The human, the author, is always an intermediate and, manipulates the discourse the way he/she wants. This work, so, does not aim to find the subjective discourse as opposite of the purely objective discourse; it aims, actually, to show up the linguistic strategies of showing the authorship and to explicit it in its relation with the persons of discourse

Essa é uma pesquisa teórico-prática cujo objetivo é investigar as possibilidades criativas na produção de uma videodança, a partir de vivências realizadas durante oito experimentos com integrantes Cia P24 de Dança Contemporânea. Vamos cartografar os processos de subjetivação decorrentes de alguns experimentos práticos envolvendo o corpo, a dança e o vídeo que culminou na criação de uma videodança, intitulada 24. Vamos investigar o processo histórico das modificações nas formas de pensar, agir e sentir na prática da dança, que culminou com o movimento conhecido como pós-modernismo, caracterizado por uma multiplicidade de técnicas e estéticas. Neste período, dançarinos incorporaram a tecnologia audiovisual digital em sua prática. A videodança surge dessa fusão e reflete uma forma de produção de subjetividade contemporânea cujo processo proposto e analisado utiliza como lente teórica as pistas do método cartográfico de Deleuze e Guatarri. / This research is a process in order to investigate the creative possibilities resulting from experiments with young dancers of the P24 contemporary dance company, involving video dance as a effect of the production of subjectivity in technological times. Have been proposed for these young people some practical experiments involving the body, dance and the video that culminated in the creation of a final videodance entitled "24", serving as a form of analysis for research. From the historical process of changes in ways of thinking, acting and feeling in the practice of dancing, that culminated in the movement known as postmodernism, characterized by a multitude of technical and aesthetic, artists incorporated the digital audiovisual technology in their practice. The videodance emerges from this merger and reflects a form of subjectivity production in contemporaneity whose creation process here proposed and analyzed use, as a theoretical lens, the mapping method by Kastrup, Deleuze and Guattari.

Esta pesquisa buscou compreender a dinâmica entre o legal e o legítimo a partir de um processo de avaliação de indicadores do INCA. Os objetivos foram relatar a opinião dos profissionais sobre a avaliação de desempenho institucional, descrever a percepção de pertencimento e corresponsabilidade dos profissionais nas contratualizações institucionais e apontar obstáculos ao fortalecimento da cultura de avaliação. O objeto do estudo foi construído a partir do referencial teórico da Psicossociologia Francesa. Como trajetória metodológica, para o alcance dos objetivos propostos, foi realizado um estudo de natureza qualitativa, empregando entrevistas semiestruturadas. As entrevistas foram organizadas com auxílio de anotações realizadas pela autora em 62 reuniões cujo tema era avaliação e monitoramento de indicadores. As entrevistas constituíram-se como o material empírico para proceder às análises, visando, sobretudo, a interpretação dos entrevistados sobre demandas estratégicas da gestão. Ao analisar a dinâmica entre o legal e legítimo, concluímos que organização do instituto por normativos dispositivos legais não garante legitimidade das ações propostas. Aspectos (inter) subjetivos contemplados na elaboração de normas diretrizes dificultam capilaridade necessária da informação. Por fim, estudo defende ampliação abordagem valor subjetividade nos processos gestão INCA. / This research sought to understand the dynamics between the legal and legitimate from a process of evaluation of INCAs indicators. The goals were reporting the opinion of professionals on the evaluation of institutional performance, describe the perception of belonging and co-responsibility of professionals in institutional and contracts point out obstacles to strengthening the "culture of evaluation". The object of the study was built from theoretical references of French Psychosociology. As a methodological path, to the achievement of the proposed objectives, we conducted a qualitative study using semi-structured interviews. The interviews were arranged with the help of notes taken by the author in 62 meetings whose topic was evaluation and monitoring of indicators. The interviews were formed as the empirical material to carry out the analyses, aiming, in particular, the interpretation of those interviewed about strategic management demands. By analyzing the dynamics between the legal and legitimate, we conclude that the organization of the Institute for regulatory and legal provisions does not guarantee the legitimacy of the actions proposed. (Inter) subjective aspects not covered in the preparation of standards and guidelines make it difficult to reach necessary information. Finally, the study advocates the expansion of the approach the value of subjectivity in the process of INCAs management.
