Den grupp som behandlar hjärtstopp på akutmottagningen inkluderar bland annat en sjuksköterska som har som uppgift att dokumentera tidpunkter och åtgärder. Som hjälpmedel för detta bör dokumentationsansvarig sjuksköterska använda ett för uppgiften speciellt framtaget arbetsblad. Detta arbetsblad som är skapat av Svenska rådet för hjärt- och lungräddning, kan även användas som underlag för dokumentation i patientjournal och Svenska hjärt- och lungräddningsregistret. Exakt och komplett dokumentation av hjärtstopp är viktigt för kvalitetsutveckling och forskning som bidrar till ökad patientsäkerhet. Säker vård är en av sjuksköterskans kärnkompetenser. Det händer, trots att det finns tillgängligt, att dokumentationsansvarig sjuksköterska väljer att inte använda arbetsbladet och dokumenterar på baksidan av arbetsbladet eller på ett blankt papper istället. Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur dokumentationsansvariga sjuksköterskor på akutmottagningar i Stockholm uppfattar användbarheten av arbetsbladet för hjärtstopp. Metoden var en nätbaserad enkätundersökning med en kvantitativ ansats och deskriptiv tvärsnittsstudie som design. Studien genomfördes på akutmottagningar på fyra av de fem akutsjukhusen i Stockholm. Resultatet visade att majoriteten av sjuksköterskorna använde arbetsbladet och största delen av dem använde även arbetsbladet som underlag för dokumentation i patientjournalen. Generellt uppfattades användbarheten av arbetsbladet som god. Både sjuksköterskor som svarade att de använde arbetsbladet och som inte gjorde det var i studien eniga om att arbetsbladet behöver vara mer lättöverskådligt. Resultatet visade även att hälften av sjuksköterskorna hade HLR-utbildning vartannat år eller med sällan. Majoriteten av sjuksköterskorna var positivt inställda till att pröva applikations baserade hjälpmedel för dokumentation av HLR. Slutsatsen av studien är att det finns förbättringspotential för användbarheten av arbetsbladet samt att det finns önskemål bland sjuksköterskorna om att mer tid på HLR-utbildningen avsätts för just arbetsbladet. Det finns även behov av tydligare riktlinjer för dokumentation av HLR i patientjournalen.

The purpose of this research is to define which instruments with their characteristics exist to mitigate the communication issues in modern software development as well as the exact issues that emerge during software architecture design with their characteristics and validity. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) is used as a major method of the research. Also, this thesis presents the vision of an ideal tool as well as an attempt to approbate the findings from the SLR in a small surrogate project of the ‘Battleship’ game while applying usual non-functional requirements from highly-collaborative industry projects. Additionally, we make the emphasis on simplicity and ease of use of the tools as well as the importance of the popularisation and promotion of both found and future tools to facilitate verification and adoption in the industry. The most popular Agile approaches (Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming, DevOps) do not specify, how these aspects of planning and documentation have to be managed and there are no existing additional widely-used and accepted tools for this purpose. In this work, a significant amount of attention is paid to the verification of the found tools in practice with feedback. For the tools which are not verified in practice, this work does a comparison against the vision of an ideal tool to understand. This helps to understand whether the given tool can be quickly adopted in practice, if further research is continued, or whether certain changes are required. Unfortunately, this work cannot present any existing tools which conform to our vision and are popularised, heavily verified in practice or relatively widely used in the industry. The closest solutions found were introduced in two industry papers concentrating on repurposing the existing Agile practices to mitigate the planning and documentation issues. During an SLR, a few tools were found, which we believe can be relatively easily taken to verification in practice or promoted to be used in industry on an everyday basis. However, we admit that further research of the found tools, which do not satisfy our requirements, can be used to reevaluate them in future to check for the desired properties again. Furthermore, we define a roadmap for future research for both the search for a tool and the development of a new instrument.

Den viktigaste lagen inom socialtjänsten på enhet ekonomiskt bistånd är ramlagen socialtjänstlagen (2001:453). Utifrån socialtjänstlagen kan socialsekreterarna på enhet ekonomiskt bistånd dokumentera, bedöma, utreda och ta ett beslut gällande rätten till olika slags bistånd för enskilda individer. För att socialsekreterarna skall kunna fatta olika beslut på ett korrekt sätt måste detta göras utifrån ett rättssäkerhetsperspektiv, då det handlar om påverkandet av andra individers ekonomiska och sociala situation. Uppsatsen syftar till att förstå hur socialsekreterarna i sin yrkesroll upplever att dokumentera, bedöma och utreda rätten till ekonomiskt bistånd, ur ett rättssäkerhetsperspektiv och vilka för och nackdelar detta i sin tur kan leda till. Uppsatsen syftar även till att förstå hur handlingsutrymmet i socialsekreterarnas yrkesroll påverkas. Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ ansats i form av semistrukturerade intervjuer för att få en djupare inblick av intervjupersonernas egna upplevelser av arbetet som socialsekreterare. Vi har intervjuat sex socialsekreterare som arbetar på socialtjänsten inom enhet ekonomiskt bistånd. Resultatet visade bland annat att socialsekreterarna ser socialtjänstlagen (2001:453) som en trygghet. De anser att de som har erfarenhet av arbetet också har möjlighet till ett stort handlingsutrymme när de fattar beslut. Rättssäkerheten kan enligt socialsekreterarna påverkas både positivt och negativt beroende på de individuella bedömningar som handlingsutrymmet och socialtjänstlagen (2001:453) ger utrymme för. / The most important law in social services at economic assistance is the framelaw “socialtjänstlagen” (2001: 453). Based on the “socialtjänstlag”, the social workers at the economic assistance should document, assess, investigate and make decisions regarding rights to various kinds of assistance for individuals. Social workers should be able to make different decisions in a proper way. This must be done from a legal certainty perspective, when it comes to exerting influence of other individuals’ economic and social situation. The purpose of this study is to explore and understand how the professional role of social workers at economic assistance on social services experience to document, assess and investigate rights to economic assistance, from a legal certainty perspective and what advantages or disadvantages for the social workers, this can lead to. Also how the social workers experience that their discretion can be affected in their professional role. We have used a qualitative approach in the form of semi-structured interviews to gain a deeper insight of the interviewees’ own experience of working as a social worker. We interviewed six social workers working in social services within the economic assistance. The results showed that the social workers see “socialtjänstlagen” (2001:453) as a security. They believe that those social workers who have a longer experience of the work also have the opportunity for a wide discretion when making decisions. The legal certainty according to social workers affected both positively and negatively, depending on the individual assessments that discretion and the “socialtjänstlagen” (2001:453) provides space for.

Bakgrund: Munvård har en stor betydelse för människan både genom nutrition och via kommunikation. Ökade möjligheter för behandling, ekonomisk ersättning och tillgänglighet av vård bidrar till att tandlöshet inte är lika accepterat av samhället idag. Med ökad levnadsålder ökar både behoven och riskerna för att problem uppstår. Trots det är munhälsan ett stort problem inom sjukvård och äldreomsorg.Syfte: Att undersöka vårdspersonalens kunskaper om munhälsa, samt hur vårdpersonal prioriterar munvården av äldre personer som är beroende av hjälpinsatser.Metod: Studien genomfördes som en litteraturstudie och bygger på 5 kvalitativa och 5 kvantitativa studier. Dessa granskades och bearbetades för att slutligen analyseras till kategorier och subteman. Resultat: Vårdpersonal upplever att det förekommer brister i utbildningen och att kontinuerliga munhälsoutbildningar saknas på arbetsplatserna. Kunskap om munhälsa är viktigt för att kunna förstå innebörden av dessa arbetsuppgifter. Det framkommer även att vårdpersonalens prioriteringar avspeglas av attityder och deras personliga syn på munvård. För att underlätta munvårdsbedömning visar det sig att ROAG är ett bra bedömningsinstrument för att få jämlika och oberoende bedömningsresultat. Trots det är det vanligt förekommande att munvården saknas i dokumentationen. / Background: Oral hygiene plays an important role for humans both through nutrition and through communication. Increased opportunities for treatment, compensation and availability of care makes toothlessness less accepted by society today. With increased longevity will increase both the needs and risks of problems arising. The oral care is still a major problem in health care and elderly care.Aim: Investigate health professionals' knowledge of oral health and how health professionals prioritize the oral care of elderly people who are dependent on relief efforts.Method: The study was conducted as a literature review based on 5 qualitative and 5 quantitative studies. These were reviewed, processed and finally analyzed for categories and subthemes.Results: Caregivers perceive that there are shortcomings in education and the continuous education of oral care are missing in the workplace. Knowledge of oral health is important to understand the meaning of performing its task. However, it appeared also that nursing staff priorities were reflected in attitudes and staff´s views on oral hygiene. In order to facilitate oral care assessment, ROAG was a very good assessment instrument to obtain equal and independent evaluation results. Although it is a common practice that the oral care lacking in documentation.

Software development is a growing part of many businesses today. The software development approach that is used to develop new software may have a positive or negative impact on the efficiency and quality of the final software product. The objective of this thesis was to propose a refined software development approach and to test it empirically. The software development approach is comprised of three main subcomponents: development style, development architecture, and technical documentation. The software development approach was applied in a case study in cooperation with Ericsson. At the completion of the case study, questionnaires were administered to Ericsson employees to evaluate the success of the software development approach. The results showed that the quality of the software product was high and Ericsson was pleased with the result. The results indicated that the development approach helped the case study be successful in some of the researched areas. The end results suggest that the proposed software process has the potential to be successful in other projects of a similar type and structure.

In the Stockton Junior College it is common practices that the freshmen who have passed the English matriculation examination are allowed to make their own selection of courses in either the field of English or in the field of speech; those who have failed to pass the Subject A examination are obliged to enroll is a Laboratory English course in which special emphasis is given to increasing the affective use of English skills. Probably, Laboratory English i conceded to accomplish this most effectively or this obligation would not exist. Is this factually trust.

This overview of current knowledge is examining research about teachers comprehension about assessment and grading of pupils’ in the subject of physical education. This overview has had a focus on determining how grading and documentation affects teachers and how they deal with the pressure. The following questions have been the starting point in this overview: What do teachers find problematic with assessment and grading? How do teachers assess and document pupils’ in physical education? and how are teachers affected by grading? The method that has been used is a mixed-method with both qualitative and quantitative form to obtain a result. The qualitative method has been interviews with four PE teachers from two different schools in upper secondary school. The quantitative method has been a survey sent out to PE teachers all around Sweden in two facebook groups made out for PE teachers. The participation reached 181 responses. The database that we used to obtain a literature overview was mainly Libsearch but we also used Swepub and EBSCO. The results show that there is a similar experience regarding assessment and grading in physical education. The result also shows that class size and number of pupils is an issue when it comes to grading because teachers feel like they don't have enough time to teach pupils; they more or less only assess pupils ́ with the curriculum from 2011. Furthermore some of the teachers think that other things like mentorship take too much time from the teacher's plan of the lessons and some teachers feel like the assessment and grading should disappear from physical education. The focus should lie in developing pupils and making them move rather than what the focus is today, assessment and grading.

Denna studies syfte är att undersöka vilka känslor och tankar som uppstår inom mig när jag går igenom en nybörjarfas i musikaliskt instrumentspel samt vilka pedagogiska strategier jag använder för att gynna mitt eget lärande av ett nytt instrument. Detta har jag gjort genom att börja spela ett instrument som jag aldrig har spelat förut, i detta fall trumpet. Jag har fört loggbok och använt videoinspelning som dokumentationsmetod och utgått från ett fenomenologiskt perspektiv på studien. Resultatet framträdde genom tematisk analys av den empiriska datan. Resultatkapitlet är uppdelat i två teman: Känslor som uppkommer i en lärprocess och Lämpliga pedagogiska strategier. Resultatet visar att frustration och engagemang är förekommande känslor i processen av lärandet, dock med övervägande fokus på frustration. I resultatet visas även att dessa känslor är oundvikliga och att en sund balans mellan dessa känslor är nödvändiga för att främja lärandet av instrumentspel. Pedagogiska strategier som användes för att främja mitt eget lärande är delmål, slutmål, konkreta övningar och samspelsmoment. Slutligen förs en diskussion kring resultatet i relation till studiens teoretiska perspektiv samt tidigare forskning inom ämnet. / The purpose of this study is to examine my thoughts and feelings that occur during a beginner stage of musical instrumental playing and how I can use the data to further improve my own learning process of instrument playing. I have done this through learning an instrument that I have never played before, in this case the trumpet. I have written a logbook and used video recordings to document the process, and I have used phenomenology as the theoretical perspective for this study. The results emerged through thematic analysis of the empirical data. The result chapter is split into two main sections: The feelings that occur in a learning process and effective pedagogical strategies.  The results show that feelings of frustration and involvement occur during the process of instrument learning, with a predominant focus on frustration. In the result it is shown that a healthy balance between these feelings is required to foster the learning process. The pedagogical strategies used to improve my learning are subgoals, end goals, concrete practices and moments of interplay. Finally, a discussion of the results will take part in relation to the study’s theoretical perspective and previous studies.

In a design agency, where time is of essence, it is interesting to see how documentation and reflection, of the design process can be captured by a digital tool with the aim to reuse design. In this thesis, such a tool was deployed at the design agency Apegroup. The main question this study investigates, is the challenge and benefit of a tool that enhances documentation, reflection, and reusability of a design process. The tool was primary inspired by the Computer Supported Cooperative Work and Documenting Design Process area. Interviews, ideation, prototyping, coding, testing and evaluation is some of the activities that were conducted. The results revealed that different design roles values different elements during the design process, which makes it challenging to develop a tool that has value for all. Documentation of activities in the tool was mainly beneficial for the role design director and the value of gathering all internal information about the design process. Reflection of activities in the tool made some of the designers reflect more, but it was challenging to engage all designers. Working with reusability was challenging due to the tool’s need of being used continuously. In the design agency context, the most challenging aspect was time, and competing with the designers’ perceived benefit. / I design agenturer där tid är av ytterst värde, är det intressant att se hur dokumentation och reflektion av design processen kan fångas av ett digitalt verktyg med målet att återanvända design i det långa loppet. I denna studie kommer ett sådant verktyg att släppas hos design agenturen Apegroup. Den primära frågeställningen kommer inom denna studie fokusera på att förstå utmaningar och fördelar i ett sådan verktyg. Verktyget var primärt inspirerat av fälten Computer Supported Cooperative Work och Documenting Design Process. Intervjuer, idégenerering, prototypning, utveckling, testing och utvärdering är aktiviteter som kommer att genomföras av författaren.   Resultaten visade att olika designroller värderar olika ting under design processen, vilket gör det utmanande att utvecklat verktyg som har värde för alla. Dokumentering av aktiviteter i verktyget hade mest fördelar för rollen design director och det stora värdet av att samla intern dokumentation om design processen. Att reflektera över aktiviteter i verktyget fick vissa designers att reflektera mer, men det var utmanande att engagera alla. Att arbeta med återanvändning är utmanade då verktyget kräver kontinuerligt användande för att få ut det maximala värdet. I design agentur kontextet, var det mest utmanande aspekten tid och att utmana designers upplevda fördel under hela design processen.

The focus of this research is on the involvement of narrative learning within technical communication and the benefits that such an involvement can bring to the field. I analyze literature from within technical communication to determine how narrative is perceived, as well as the traditions in technical communication that made the field resistant to the use of narrative in the past. These findings are considered with respect to the history and definition of narrative, as well as to how narrative can improve learning outcomes when compared to expository learning approaches commonly used in technical documentation. While narrative is not a new concept to technical communication, this thesis offers new insights through a multidisciplinary approach that considers the work of philosophers and narratologists that are relatively unknown to the field. Philosophers Daniel Dennett and Jerome Bruner, as well as narratologists Gerard Genette, David Rudrum, and David Darby, show that narrative forms the basis for the construction of reality and that all human learning is based on the stories that we construct to give meaning to the world. Research studies conducted on the efficacy of narrative based learning are discussed in detail and an analysis of the areas where narrative use would most benefit technical communication is provided. Recommendations are made for the future use of narrative in technical documentation and for further research on the implementation and cost of narrative solutions.
