The Internet is the main source of information for many of us, regardless of whether it is a telephone number, train timetables or information from the municipality we are looking for. The purpose of this essay has been to study navigation on municipalities’websites and how its design and structure affect users' opportunities to find important information. The results show that there are several parts of the navigation that are important to make it easy to find information. How well connected the different pages of the website are and how easily you can reach other pages on the site. A clear main navigation with well-chosen names for the different categories. A consistent word choice throughout the site and that the name of the links leads the user's thoughts on the right track. The opportunity to see where on the site you are and clearly marked links. All of these are examples of things that in our empirical study prove to be of importance to the user. / Internet är den främsta informationskällan för många av oss, oavsett om det är ett telefonnummer, tågtidtabeller eller information från kommunen vi söker. Syftet med detta examensarbete har varit att studera navigation på kommuners webbsajter och på vilket sätt dess utformning och struktur påverkar användarnas möjligheter att hitta viktig information. Resultatet visar att det finns flera delar i navigationen som har betydelse för att det ska vara lätt att hitta information. Hur väl sammankopplade webbsajtens olika sidor är och hur lätt man kan nå övriga sidor på sajten. En tydlig huvudnavigation med väl valda namn på de olika kategorierna. Ett konsekvent ordval inom hela sajten och att länkarnas namn leder användarens tankar på rätt spår. Möjligheten att se var på sajten man befinner sig och tydligt markerade länkar. Alla dessa är exempel på sådant som i vår empiriska studie visat sig vara av betydelse för användaren.

Тема магистерской диссертации: Организация системы сбора входящих потоков информации на производственном предприятии. Магистерская диссертация выполнена на 74 страницах, содержит 1 таблицу, 36 рисунка, 61 использованных источников. Актуальность темы обусловлена растущим количеством информации в организации, в том числе информации о клиентах, которую необходимо обрабатывать, систематизировать, и хранить, а обработка информации является очень трудоемким процессом для сотрудников, которые работают с клиентами. Целью работы является разработка архитектуры информации и методологии систематизации обработки клиентской информации на предприятии. Задачами работы являются:  изучение теоретических вопросов предмета работы;  сбор данных об объекте и разработка модели архитектуры информации;  написание методологии;  обоснование эффективности. Объектом написания выпускной квалификационной работы был выбран «Бобровский Экспериментальный Завод». Предметом выпускной квалификационной работы является система обработки входящей информации от клиента в организации. В первой главе освещается проблематика обработки информации на крупных предприятиях, имеющих автоматизации по отделам. Так же рассматривается теория архитектуры информации. Во второй главе проведана работа над выявлением узких мест в процессе обработки информации. Разработана концептуальная модель архитектуры информации, показаны возможности развития информационной системы на основе архитектуры информации. Третья глава посвящена изучению предприятия. В главе описана полная модель предприятия, показан основной процесс сбора информации. Создана модель информации, как она есть. Результаты работы: практическим результатом работы стала разработанная концепция модели архитектуры информации, интеграция двух систем, 1С и Битрикс24, а также частично внедрение полностью автоматической обработки клиентской информации из таких источников как сайт, и портал SuplBiz. / Theme of the master's thesis: The organization of the collection of incoming information flows at a manufacturing enterprise. The master's thesis is executed on 74 pages, contains 1 table, 36 figures, 61 sources used. The relevance of the topic is due to the growing amount of information in the organization, including information about customers, which needs to be processed, systematized, and stored, and information processing is a very laborious process for employees who work with clients. The aim of the work is to develop an information architecture and methodology for systematizing the processing of client information in the enterprise. The tasks of the work are:  study of the theoretical issues of the subject of work;  collection of data on the object and development of an information architecture model;  Writing a methodology;  Justification of effectiveness. The object of writing the final qualifying work was chosen "Bobrovsky Experimental Plant". The subject of final qualifying work is the system for processing incoming information from the client in the organization. The first chapter highlights the problem of processing information at large enterprises that have automation by department. The theory of information architecture is also considered. In the second chapter, work was done to identify bottlenecks in the processing of information. The conceptual model of the information architecture is developed, the possibilities of the information system development on the basis of the information architecture are shown. The third chapter is devoted to the study of the enterprise. The chapter describes the full model of the enterprise, shows the main process of collecting information. A model of information is created, as it is. The results of the work: the practical result of the work was the developed concept of the information architecture model, the integration of two systems, 1C and Bitrix24, as well as partly the implementation of completely automatic processing of client information from sources such as the site, and the SuplBiz portal.

Designing Applicant Tracking Systems : A user-centered approach to improving recruiter efficiency

Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) help the recruiter keep track of all candidates and applications for a job. However, there is a large amount of information regarding candidates and their applications. Therefore, the interface that displays a candidate profile needs to be designed to help the recruiter manage all candidates in an efficient way. In this thesis, a user-centered design approach to designing a candidate profile was applied. User research consisted of contextual inquiries and content analysis of user reviews, to understand what activities and information are relevant for the recruiter throughout the recruitment process. The contextual inquiries focused on how recruiters screen an application, and the activities tied to an interview with a candidate. User needs were defined, and wireframes of the design were created and tested by users. Finally, a hi-fi design was created based on the usability test feedback, and a conclusion with recommendations for designing a candidate profile in an ATS. The result from the user research revealed that many recruiters have their own way of working with the recruitment process, leading to one of the recommendations for designing an ATS being to let the users customize parts of the candidate profile. Additionally, some recruiters use ranking or scoring of a candidate, while others do not. For those recruiters that use scoring, the score should be based on the job application and not stick to the candidate if they apply for another role. The results also revealed that reducing clutter, unnecessary information, and scrolling in the candidate profile was requested by users. Right before an interview was held, the recruiters needed to remind themselves who the candidate was. Additionally, the recruiters had candidate-specific questions to ask during the interview. This finding led to another recommendation for designing an ATS, to have a feature to let the user highlight interesting parts in the application. Future research could focus on which scales (linear or non-linear) a recruiter could best use to assess a candidate, based on the impression gathered either when screening an application or after an interview. Another area to further research is more reliable data on what candidate information is prioritized by the recruiter. / Rekryteringssystem hjälper rekryteraren att hålla koll på alla kandidater för ett jobb. Det finns däremot mycket information om kandidaternas ansökan. Designen av gränssnittet bör därmed utformas för att göra det effektivt för rekryteraren att hantera alla kandidater. I denna examensuppsats har en användarcentrerad design applicerats för att designa en kandidatprofil i ett rekryteringssystem. Användarundersökningar skedde i form av en kontextuell undersökning samt informationsanalys av användarrecensioner, för att förstå vilka aktiviteter samt vilken information som är relevant i de olika stadierna av rekryteringsprocessen för en rekryterare. Den kontextuella undersökningen fokuserade på hur rekryterare går igenom en ansökan, samt aktiviteterna relaterade till en intervju med en kandidat. Användarbehov definierades och enklare prototyper med fokus på struktur skapades och testades av användare. Slutligen skapades en designad prototyp av kandidatprofilen baserat på resultat från användartesterna, samt rekommendationer för hur en kandidatprofil kan utformas. Resultatet från användarundersökningarna visade att många rekryterare har ett eget sätt att hantera ansökningar och kandidater på. Detta ledde till att en av de rekommendationerna var att låta användaren anpassa delar av kandidatprofilen. Vissa rekryterare använder betygsättning för kandidater, medan andra inte gör det. För de som använder betygsättning, ska denna betygsättning vara baserat på det specifika jobbet, och inte för kandidaten som helhet. Resultaten visade också att det är uppskattat av användare att minska på onödig information presenterad till användaren och att inte vara tvungen att rulla långt ner på skärmen för att hitta det man söker. Precis innan intervjun, var många rekryterare tvungna att snabbt gå igenom ansökan igen, för att färska upp minnet. Dessutom hade rekryterarna kandidat-specifika frågor de ville ställe under intervjun. Detta resultat ledde till att en annan rekommendation för att designa en kandidatprofil är att erbjuda ett sätt att markera och kommentera på intressanta delar i en ansökan. Framtida arbeten kan fokusera på vilka olika typer av skalor (linjär eller olinjär) som en rekryterare kan visa sitt intryck av en kandidat, samt mer utförlig undersökning kring vilken specifik information om en kandidat som en rekryterare vill se först.

Most contemporary artists work digitally in one way or another, despite the fact that established art museums do not offer a platform to display digital art, which means that it is difficult for visitors to find it and that media art will have a lower status compared to physical art. For a long time the art museum business has had a complex relationship with the digitization of physical works, virtual museums and intangible art works. These are discussions that had to be ignored when the pandemic started and the art museums were forced to digitize activities that had previously been completely analogous. This report with associated artifacts strives to map digital exhibition trends and create a digital exhibition format that takes into account artistic intention and the art museum's activities, and puts the user experience in focus. The report concludes that it is difficult to generalize when it comes to art, but that digital exhibitions have great potential because you do not have to deal with gravity, wires and other physical aspects when installing digital works in a physical space. Another conclusion is that art museums must begin to look at the developer as part of the core business for the digitization initiatives to work in the long term. Perhaps the pandemic will ultimately mean that art museums to a greater extent dare to break new ground, test new exhibition formats and become more positive about the possibilities of digital exhibition formats.

透過數位博物館具有良好資訊組織和經過管理的數位資源,應用於支援數位學習具有極高的發展潛力。而將資訊架構概念導入數位博物館網站設計,有助於發展更優質之數位博物館網站,促使使用者以更有效率的方式取得所需要的典藏資源,達到數位博物館支援終身學習的目的。本研究以Morae 人機互動分析軟體觀察學習者利用數位博物館輔助學習之學習歷程,並經由學習歷程分析探討數位博物館支援數位學習過程中,學習者單獨以數位博物館資訊架構中的組織系統、搜尋系統,以及利用組織系統搭配搜尋系統輔助完成學習任務,對於學習成效、認知負荷、學習效率與任務達成時間的影響差異。 研究結果顯示:(1)搭配使用組織系統及搜尋系統與使用組織系統學習者的學習成效顯著優於使用搜尋系統的學習者;(2)使用搜尋系統的學習者在認知負荷上顯著高於搭配使用組織系統與搜尋系統的學習者;(3)搭配使用組織系統與搜尋系統的學習者在學習效率上顯著高於使用搜尋系統的學習者;(4)使用組織系統的學習者在任務達成時間上顯著高於使用搜尋系統的學習者;(5)搭配使用組織系統與搜尋系統的圖像視覺型學習者在認知負荷上顯著高於口語聽覺型學習者;(6)圖像視覺型的學習者搭配使用組織系統與搜尋系統,在學習成效上高於使用搜尋系統;(7)使用組織系統、搜尋系統與搭配使用組織系統與搜尋系統高資訊焦慮學習者的認知負荷顯著高於低資訊焦慮學習者;(8)高資訊焦慮學習者使用搜尋系統在認知負荷上顯著高於搭配使用組織系統與搜尋系統 最後,根據研究結果,本研究亦提出數位博物館資訊架構輔助數位學習的教學建議,也針對「自然與人文數位博物館」的網站資訊架構設計提出建議。

Access to and use of information are transcending the Internet; it is going beyond the use of personal computers. This research project seeks to assess the level of satisfaction of users in a digital information environment, structured from a I pervasive Information Architecture. The methodology is characterized as being a research type qualitative - quantitative, descriptive and exploratory, whose research universe are the universe of managers and entrepreneurs in the Business Incubation Program of Universidade Federal de Goiás - PROINE /UFG. We can see the increase of people using this technology, since its creation in the beginning of 1990 decade, and we can highlight the elderly users. These users find in the Web an environment in which they can develop different activities, as easily dealing with daily duties and getting information about subjects related to aging, among others. However, we verify that the Web information environments do not have an Information Architecture developed with the specific necessities of this public, making difficult the use and access, and then, making hard the digital and social inclusion of this users group. In this context, our objective is to identify elements that enable the social and digital inclusion of the elderly using the study of Information Architecture, Usability, Accessibility and Information Behavior, in the Information Science context, as well as the application of this elements in a digital repository built for the Universidade Aberta à Terceira Idade – UNATI – UNESP. We consider that a digital repository that deals with subjects of interests and production of elderly and that presents inclusive elements makes possible their digital and social inclusion. We used the action-research to realize the research. The action-research makes possible for the researcher and participants the identification of problems and objectives of the research as well as the planning and execution of actions for its resolution. Broaches the process of mediation information in organizations as a set of information actions established based on the relations between the subjects and the networks Socio-communicational primary and secondary formed in the context of information regime that, through the resources offered by the infrastructure of cyberspace, are grouped into a single information environment in a form dynamic and effective. These actions are developed during the stages of production, organization and dissemination of information on the web, to which are find on collaboration of nature multidisciplinary between Marketing and Information Architecture for the web, the essential conditions for achieving the goals according to the characteristics and information needs of users. Accordingly, we used the methodology of action research so that permits the opinions, needs and experiences of subjects involved in the process of document management of CPAD to be considered regarding the planning and implementation of information actions. We departed from the application of semi-structured interview to obtain subsidies for the production and organization of information available on the web, following to the record of users' opinion regarding the evaluation of the information architecture of the website and then, ending with dissemination of information available on the web (website) through direct marketing. We conclude that both the construction of the website institutional of CPAD, as regards to the content of information architecture, regarding its dissemination, met the expectations of the servers involved in document management, as well as assisted in the promotion of CPAD within the institution, that is, giving visibility to the Table of Temporality document (TTD), the archival information and, especially, management practices that comprise the life cycle of documents. / Apresenta uma intervenção no regime de informação do campo arquivístico da Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB), com o objetivo de promover a disseminação da informação arquivística produzida pela Comissão Permanente de Avaliação de Documentos (CPAD) no âmbito do Campus I da instituição, mediante a construção de um espaço virtual de comunicação na web e das ações de informação cabíveis. Aborda o processo de mediação da informação nas organizações como um conjunto de ações de informação estabelecidas com base nas relações entre os sujeitos e as redes sociocomunicacionais primarias e secundárias formadas no contexto do regime de informação que, através dos recursos oferecidos pela infra-estrutura do ciberespaço, agrupam-se em um único ambiente informacional de forma dinâmica e efetiva. Essas ações se desenvolvem no decorrer das etapas de produção, organização e disseminação da informação na web, as quais encontram na colaboração de natureza multidisciplinar entre o Marketing e a Arquitetura da Informação para web, as condições essenciais para o alcance dos objetivos de acordo com as características e necessidades informacionais dos usuários. Nesse sentido, utilizou-se a metodologia da pesquisa-ação de modo a possibilitar que as opiniões, necessidades e experiências dos sujeitos envolvidos no processo de gestão de documentos da CPAD fossem consideradas no que tange o planejamento e a implementação das ações de informação. Partiu-se da aplicação da entrevista semi-estruturada no sentido de obter subsídios para a produção e organização da informação disponibilizada na web, seguindo para o registro da opinião dos usuários em relação à avaliação da arquitetura da informação do website e, posteriormente, finalizando com a disseminação da informação disponibilizada na web (website) por meio de ações de marketing direto. Conclui-se que tanto a construção do website institucional da CPAD, no que se refere ao conteúdo e a arquitetura da informação, quanto a sua disseminação, atenderam as expectativas dos servidores envolvidos no processo de gestão de documentos, bem como auxiliaram na promoção da CPAD no âmbito da instituição, isto é, dando visibilidade à Tabela de Temporalidade de Documentos (TTD), à informação arquivística e, principalmente, as práticas de gestão que compreendem o ciclo vital dos documentos.
