The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate and improve the current information system solutions in organization Salesian Youth Movement Club, Prostejov to meet the demanding requirements for rapid online communication and created the available support for information management and storage management assets. The work focuses on further expansion proposals IS to develop and fulfill the requirements indicated by organization‘s stakeholders.

Diplomová práce se zaoberá analýzou současného stavu Agentury - Pro-staff s.r.o., která je využita na tvorbu návrhov pro rozvoj společnosti. V první části jsou definovány cíle a metodika práce, zatímco druhá část obsahuje teoretické podklady pro část třetí, která se věnuje analýzám. Pozornosť je venovaná macro a micro okolí. Poslední část obsahuje vlastní návrhy autora, ktoré sú vytvorené na základe výsledkov z analytickej časti. Návrhy se týkají řízení lidských zdrojů, ochrany jména a značky firmy, neustálého zlepšování, kvality ich sluzeb a sdílení informací a komunikaci v rámci společnosti.

Im Rahmen der Diplomarbeit wurde ein modernes System zur Erledigung typischer Geschäftsvorfälle des URZ entwickelt. Die Arbeit betrachtet den Einsatz von XML als Grundlage der Implementation und unterschiedliche XML-Applikationen auf ihre Verwendbarkeit zur Repräsentation von URZ-Dokumenten. Laufende Geschäftsvorfälle wurden anhand ausgewählter Dokumententypen analysiert und deren Strukturen und Inhaltstypen in XML definiert. Die Dokumentenerstellung wird durch eine Web-basierte Nutzerschnittstelle gewährleistet.

This project is about the design of a collection of principles that contribute to a sustainable internal communication. It is shown via an online manual (website-based-ebook). My findings are based on my work experience at IKEA of Sweden AB, developing their internal communication tool, the sustainability Hub, and on research, transition design, sustainable dialogue, and the diverse economy (see more in chapter 5.1., page 26). The design is targeted primarily to the decision-makers of small- to mediumsized organizations that are interested in a transition towards sustainable change, and, secondarily, students and lecturers from the fields of design, natural science, and economics. The methodological framework used in the project is transition design, sustainable dialogue, and the diverse economy. Furthermore, theories about change agency, intranet, sustainability, and IKEAs position on sustainability are outlined to establish a definition of sustainability that can be applied to multiple actors of the diverse economy. The outcome is a collection of 24 principles about an internal network focussing on the transition towards sustainability. I call it Intra-Collectivity because it is about change from within a system, and networks being the actors of change. I communicate my idea via a manual, that should guide the target group to create, maintain, and use Intra-Collectivity. The manual features infographics with explanatory texts guided by consistent user interface navigation. The design is done by the research of theories and of the target audience, by application of the methodological framework, by my work experience at IKEA, and by the design craft of a website-based ebook and digital infographics. The manual is publicly available and based on minimalistic, contemporary screen design, and infographic design principles. It places the graphical explanation in the focus. The principles of Intra-Collectivity are base on the following key findings: 1. The difficulty to find a definition of sustainability for the diverse bodies of the diverse economy can be solved by the differentiation between “honest sustainability scopes“ and “dishonest sustainable development“ (or “greenwashing“). 2. It can be derived from the field of transition design and sustainable dialogue that a constant, multiperspective communication is crucial to a network promoting change. 3. Solutions to sustainability problems are not definite but adaptive and require constant reiteration. 4. Internal communication becomes more effective in terms of sustainability if unconventional perspectives are taken into consideration.

The use of the Internet has grown substantially, especially since the late 1990s. Businesses are relying increasingly on the Internet and intranet as tools to promote productivity. Use of the Internet has several implications for institutions of higher education. Some of the issues institutions are faced with include legal liability for defamatory postings and sexually explicit materials, monitoring versus privacy, motivations to abuse Internet privileges, and use of the Internet to create a corporate culture. Institutions of higher education need to consider how the Internet is being used and how it should be used when acceptable use policies are being formulated. The purpose of this quantitative study was to gain an understanding of perceptions about acceptable use of the Internet by employees at work, attitudes about personal use of the Internet during working hours, and the knowledge and effectiveness of an acceptable use policy within the context of institutions of higher education. The data gathered could be used as a foundation for an effective, progressive acceptable use policy for higher education. The data for the research were gathered from December, 2005 through January of 2006. Six 4-year institutions were surveyed. The study revealed older employees responded that the use of the Internet at work as not acceptable, while younger employees, faculty members and respondents with more Internet experience or more hours of overtime indicated that personal use was acceptable. The study identified significant differences in self-reported use of the Internet, both at home and at work. Additionally, a general lack of knowledge existed regarding an institutional Internet acceptable use policy. The results of the study were applicable to the formulation of policy for institutions of higher education.

Anställdas upplevda användbarhet av intranät som informations- och kommunikationsverktyg  En enkätstudie i samarbete med ICA Gruppen AB om hur intranätet Worknet används och upplevs ur ett medarbetarperspektiv. En organisation ställer höga krav på den interna kommunikationen. Den ska fungera väl, inspirerande och felfritt. En intern kommunikation som är effektiv har förmågan att ge de anställda en möjlighet att kommunicera med varandra. Den förmågan skapar en vi-anda. Detta gäller även om alla inte befinner sig på samma plats.  Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur intranätet upplevs på ICA Gruppen AB från medarbetarnas perspektiv. Vad kan förbättras och förändras? På vilket sätt använder man intranätet och kan intranätet stärka den organisationskultur som lever inom ICA Gruppen AB?  Studien utfördes med ett enkätformulär. Vi valde att lägga 14 enkätfrågor på intranätet som anställda fick möjlighet att svara på.  De allra viktigaste resultaten som kom fram i studien var att majoriteten var nöjda med intranätet. Dock vill respondenterna se en förbättrad sökfunktion, både grafiskt och tekniskt. Intranätets nuvarande utformning bidrog till en viss “vi-känsla” inom organisationen men de fanns synpunkter där bland annat mer lokala nyheter efterfrågades. Man ville bygga ut den interna sidan med mer riktade nyheter. Resultatet visar att intranätet stärker organisationskulturen.
