Esse fato pode lev?-los a encontrar dificuldades em adotar estrat?gias de ensino-aprendizagem que aproximem o conhecimento cient?fico ? realidade pr?tica na forma??o de profissionais da ?rea da sa?de. O presente estudo objetivou analisar o conhecimento das metodologias de ensino pelos preceptores no processo ensino/aprendizagem de residentes multiprofissionais em sa?de. Trata-se de um estudo transversal, descritivo, com abordagem qualitativa, composto por 50 preceptores, que atuavam h? mais de um ano na resid?ncia multiprofissional em sa?de de um hospital-escola. A coleta de dados foi realizada de setembro a dezembro de 2016, por meio de um roteiro semiestruturado para caracteriza??o dos sujeitos do estudo e com a aplica??o da t?cnica de associa??o livre de palavras. Os dados foram analisados pelo software Ensemble de Programmes Permettant L?Analyse des Evocations (EVOC), vers?o 2000, e discutidos com base no referencial te?rico da Teoria do N?cleo Central. Teve aprova??o do Comit? de ?tica em Pesquisa, sob o n? 1.663.421/16. Os dados foram divididos em tr?s unidades tem?ticas: conhecimento dos preceptores sobre estrat?gias de ensino, sobre metodologia tradicional e metodologias ativas e suas respectivas categorias: elementos conceituais; uso te?rico pr?tico, aprofundamento do conte?do e aplicabilidade. Foram considerados como elementos do n?cleo central as palavras que tiveram menor ordem media de evoca??o (MOE), com par?metro de 2,0, 2,3 e 2,5 e maior frequ?ncia(F) com par?metro de 10. Na unidade tem?tica referente ? estrat?gia de ensino destacaram-se as palavras ?m?todo de ensino? (OME, 1,4- F29). ?din?mica? (OME 1,6 - F 13) e ?aulas? (OME 2,0 - F17). A metodologia tradicional foi representada por ?ensino arcaico? (OME 1,7 ? F 45) e ?centrado no professor? (OME 1,8 F 22). Para as metodologias ativas destacaram-se ?proatividade? (OME 1,7 ? F 23), ?construtivismo? (OME1, 9 F 61) e ?Feedback ?(OME 2,1 F10). O estudo apontou que os preceptores compreendem as estrat?gias de ensino com m?todos que favorecem o ensino aprendizado, evidenciando-se o conhecimento sobre as metodologias tradicionais como ?ensino arcaico? e ?metodologia conteudista?, e as metodologias ativas como ?proatividade?, ?construtivismo? e ?feedback?, embora a maioria aponte a n?o utiliza??o desta no ensino da resid?ncia multiprofissional em sa?de. Por fim, acredita-se que para a forma??o de profissionais na ?rea da sa?de deve haver um car?ter interdisciplinar, com uso de metodologias ativas que despertem no aluno o seu potencial cr?tico-reflexivo, tornando-o agente transformador no processo de cuidar dos sujeitos nos diferentes cen?rios de atua??o profissional proposto pelo Sistema ?nico de Sa?de. Como produto desse estudo, foi criada uma proposta para capacita??o dos preceptores da resid?ncia multiprofissional de sa?de, campo do estudo, em metodologias ativas de ensino. / Preceptory in health in university hospitals has become a pedagogical practice and many service professionals were inserted as preceptors, but most of them did not have education training. Finding difficulties in adopting teaching-learning strategies that bring scientific knowledge closer to practical reality in the training of health professionals. This study aims to analyze the knowledge of teaching methodologies by preceptors (teachers) in the teaching/learning process of multiprofessional residents in health. It is a descriptive, cross-sectional study with a qualitative approach, composed with 50 preceptors who had been working for more than one year in the multiprofessional health residency of a school hospital. Data collection was carried out from September to December 2016, through a semistructured script to characterize the subjects of study and with the application of the word-free association technique. Data were analyzed by the Ensemble software of Permettant L'Analyse des Evocations (EVOC), version 2000, and discussed based on the theoretical framework of the Core Nucleus Theory. It was approved by the Research Ethics Committee under no. 1.663.421 / 16. Data were divided into three thematic units: knowledge of preceptors about teaching strategies, about traditional methodology and active methodologies and their respective categories: conceptual elements; practical theoretical use, deepening of content and applicability. The items with the lowest mean order of evocation (MOE), with a parameter by 2.0, 2.3 and 2.5 and higher frequency (F) with a parameter by 10, were considered with elements of the central nucleus. In the thematic unit referring to teaching strategy, the words stood out the words, such as "teaching method" (MOE, 1,4- F29). "Dynamic" (MOE 1.6 - F 13) and "lessons" (MOE 2.0 - F17). The traditional methodology was represented by "archaic teaching" (MOE 1.7 - F 45) and "teacher-centered" (MOE 1.8 F 22). For the active methodologies "proactivity" (MOE 1,7 - F 23), "constructivism" (MOE1, 9 F 61) and "feedback" (MOE 2.1 F10) stood out. The study pointed out that preceptors have understood the teaching strategies with methods that have favored learning teaching. Moreover, it has evidenced the knowledge about traditional methodologies, such as "archaic teaching" and "content methodology" and active methodologies, such as "proactivity", "constructivism" and "feedback", although most points out the non-use of this in the teaching of multiprofessional residency in health. Finally, it is believed that for the training of professionals in the area of health, there must be an interdisciplinary character, using active methodologies that awaken in the student his/her reflexive-critical potential, making him/her a transforming agent in the process of caring for the subjects in the different scenarios of professional activity proposed by Unified Health System. As a product of this study, a proposal was created to train the preceptors of the multiprofessional health residency, field of study, in active teaching methodologies.

O internato de Cirurgia Geral do curso de medicina da UFRN ainda necessita de adequa??es quanto ? avalia??o de habilidades em ambiente simulado, sendo essa uma demanda dos estudantes. A UFRN disp?e de Laborat?rio de Habilidades Cl?nicas, contudo observa-se que ainda ? pouco utilizado por docentes e discentes e a avalia??o estruturada de habilidades ainda n?o est? devidamente estruturada nas ?reas cir?rgicas. Metodologia: foi proposta a elabora??o de 10 protocolos contendo as listas de materiais para montagem de cen?rios e checklists de 10 esta??es de OSPE. A seguir foram selecionadas 04 esta??es e aplicadas a 32 estudantes do internato de Cirurgia Geral, onde estes al?m de serem avaliados, desempenharam, em algum momento da atividade, os pap?is de estudante ?avaliador? e ator/figurante. Um question?rio foi aplicado para avaliar este tipo de atividade na perspectiva destes estudantes do internato. Resultados: os10 protocolos referentes ?s esta??es de I a X, foram elaborados e ficar?o sob a responsabilidade da coordena??o do Laborat?rio de Habilidades da UFRN. Na atividade realizada, as notas dos checklists dos professores e estudantes ?avaliadores? mostraram uma associa??o moderada em duas esta??es (R = 0,70 e p=0,012) e (R = 0,44 e p=0,152) e uma ssocia??o forte nas outras duas esta??es (R = 0,79 e p=0,002) e (R = 0,78 e p=0,003). Os estudantes avaliaram positivamente a atividade nos tr?s blocos do question?rio: grau de satisfa??o em rela??o ? avalia??o, avalia??o com rela??o ?s esta??es e avalia??o sobre sua participa??o na atividade. Conclus?o: a realiza??o de avalia??o pelo m?todo OSPE apresenta requisitos estruturais favor?veis para sua implanta??o na avalia??o dos estudantes do curso de medicina da UFRN, reestruturando a avalia??o de habilidades no internato de cirurgia geral. / Introduction: Objective Structured Practical Examination (OSPE) is a method of assessment of practical skills using simulated and controlled environment, widely used in the teaching-learning worldwide. UFRN has Clinical Skills Laboratory, however the skills assessment is not yet properly structured in surgical areas, this is a demand of the students. Objectives: The general objective of this study is to implement the method Objective Structured Practical Examination (OSPE) as an evaluation tool in General Surgery of medical school UFRN, and to evaluate the use of the method from the perspective of students of the boarding school. Methodology: The strategy was divided into two stages: the first were prepared and / or revised 10 stations OSPE, including lists of material for assembly of each scenario and their checklists. A test with some stations was carried out with the boarding school teachers of general surgery, residents of surgical areas for adjustments. In the second stage, four stations were selected and applied to two groups of 16 students of General Surgery internship, on two separate occasions, where they were evaluated, also playing the role of evaluator of colleagues. At the end of the activity a questionnaire was used to evaluate the activity from the perspective of students. Results: 10 stations drawn up the list of materials will be under the responsibility of coordination of the Skills Laboratory of UFRN. In the seasons application stage, the marks awarded by teachers and students "evaluators" have shown a strong association in two seasons: intubation (R = 0.79 and p = 0.002) and exchange gastrostomy tube (R = 0.78 p = 0.003). This association was also observed, although moderate, in the thoracic puncture stations for decompression of tension pneumothorax (R = 0.70 and p = 0.012) and suture face and knowledge of materials needed for its realization. (R = 0.44 and p = 0.152). Students positively evaluated the activity questionnaire in the three blocks: degree of satisfaction with the assessment, as the seasons and evaluation of their participation in the activity. Conclusion: The use of OSPE, as proposed, has structural and technical favorable conditions and a faculty qualified for its implementation in the evaluation of skills in General Surgery of students of medical school UFRN, thereby qualifying the evaluation system in this area.

Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo implementar o servi?o de teleconsultoria na especialidade de cardiologia no Telessa?de/RN, analisando as caracter?sticas das teleconsultorias em cardiologia solicitadas. Ademais, analisar as Segundas Opini?es Formativas em cardiologia dispon?veis no Portal Teless?ude Brasil. Trata-se de estudo quantitativo, com desenho observacional e car?ter descritivo. Foram identificadas 56 Segundas Opini?es Formativas relacionadas ? cardiologia no portal Telessa?de Brasil, sendo a maioria referentes ? hipertens?o arterial sist?mica (29%), solicitadas por m?dicos (59%) e com abordagem sobre aspectos relativos a apoio ao tratamento (30%). No n?cleo de Telessa?de do Rio Grande Norte, foram realizadas 47 teleconsultorias em cardiologia, sendo a maior parte delas tamb?m relativa ? hipertens?o arterial (50%), requeridas em sua maioria por agentes comunit?rios de sa?de (45%) e com enfoque direcionado a apoio ao tratamento (52%). A teleconsultoria em cardiologia foi implementada no n?cleo Telessa?de/RN, sendo realizada sistematicamente desde abril de 2014 e representa uma estrat?gia pr?tica e eficiente, capaz de garantir a oferta de servi?os de sa?de, alcan?ando aqueles que vivem em ?reas distantes e carentes. Conhecer a demanda das teleconsultorias ? de extrema relev?ncia, pois fornece informa??es necess?rias para suprir as defici?ncias existentes, quer sejam de natureza assistencial, gerencial e/ou educacional, como tamb?m possibilita pensar em estrat?gias p?blicas que melhorem as demandas identificadas nas solicita??es de teleconsultoria. / In order to qualify Primary Health Care in Brazil, the Ministry of Health implemented the Brazilian Telehealth Program to provide health support (telecare) and permanent health education (tele-education). In this respect, one of the primary services offered is teleconsultation. As part of the national expansion of the program, a local Telehealth Center, called Telehealth/RN, was created in Rio Grande do Norte state. The aim of this study was to describe the implementation of cardiological teleconsultations at Telehealth/RN, and analyze the characteristics of the teleconsultations in cardiology requested. Formative Second Opinions in cardiology, available at the web site of the Brazilian Telehealth Program, were also examined. This is a quantitative study with a descriptive, observational design. A total of 56 Formative Second Opinions in cardiology were identified, a majority related to hypertension (29%), focused on treatment support (30%), and requested by doctors (59%). At Telehealth/RN, 47 teleconsultations in cardiology were carried out, a majority also related to hypertension (50%), requested by community health workers (45%) and focused directly on treatment (52%). Cardiological teleconsultation, implemented at the Telehealth/RN in April 2014, is a practical and efficient strategy capable of ensuring health services and reaching those who live in remote areas. Knowing the demand for teleconsultations is extremely important, given that they provide the information needed to correct existing inadequacies related to care, management and/or education, as well as providing the basis for public policies that meet the demands of teleconsultation.

Sendo assim, a pesquisa tem como objetivo: avaliar sistematicamente a efic?cia dos m?todos diagn?sticos das vulvovaginites infecciosas. Para tanto, adota como m?todo: realiza??o de um estudo de corte transversal com 200 mulheres no menacme com queixa de corrimento vaginal. Foi coletado material vaginal dessas mulheres para realiza??o dos seguintes exames: microbiol?gico a fresco e corado pelo Gram, citologia oncol?gica, teste das aminas e mensura??o do pH vaginal. Foi avaliada a efic?cia dos m?todos dispon?veis para diagn?stico do corrimento vaginal (sensibilidade, especificidade, valor preditivo positivo e valor preditivo negativo). Os dados foram inseridos em planilha do software Excel/Office 2010 com todas as vari?veis e, ap?s, exportados para o Graphpad Prism 6, para an?lise estat?stica. Resultados: na avalia??o da efic?cia dos m?todos, foram estudadas 200 pacientes, tendo como padr?o ouro o exame microbiol?gico corado pelo Gram, atrav?s do qual foram obtidos os seguintes resultados: exame a fresco para a candid?ase vaginal: sensibilidade = 31%, especificidade = 97%, valor preditivo positivo (VPP) = 54%, valor preditivo negativo (VPN) = 93%, acur?cia = 91%; exame a fresco para vaginose bacteriana: sensibilidade = 80%, especificidade = 95%, valor preditivo positivo (VPP) = 80%, valor preditivo negativo (VPN) = 95%, acur?cia = 92%; abordagem sindr?mica para vaginose bacteriana: sensibilidade = 95%, especificidade = 43%, valor preditivo positivo (VPP) = 30%, valor preditivo negativo (VPN) = 97%, Acur?cia = 54%; abordagem sindr?mica para a candid?ase vaginal: sensibilidade = 75%, especificidade = 91%, valor preditivo positivo (VPP) = 26%, valor preditivo negativo (VPN) = 98%, acur?cia = 90%; Papanicolau para a candid?ase vaginal: sensibilidade = 68%, especificidade = 98%, valor preditivo positivo (VPP) = 86%, valor preditivo negativo (VPN) = 96%, acur?cia = 96%; Papanicolau para vaginose bacteriana: sensibilidade = 75%, especificidade = 100%, valor preditivo positivo (VPP) = 100%, valor preditivo negativo (VPN) = 94%, acur?cia = 95%. Houve apenas um ?nico caso de tricomon?ase vaginal, diagnosticado pela citologia oncol?gica e exame a fresco, confirmado pelo Gram. A abordagem sindr?mica o deu como vaginose bacteriana. A partir desses dados e tendo ainda o suporte da literatura mundial, foi elaborado o Protocolo de diagn?stico e tratamento das Vulvovaginites da Maternidade Escola Janu?rio Cicco /UFRN. Desse estudo, restou como conclus?o: o Papanicolau e o exame a fresco demonstraram, respectivamente, baixa e muito baixa sensibilidade para a candid?ase vaginal; a abordagem sindr?mica apresentou muito baixa especificidade e acur?cia para a vaginose bacteriana, o que implica, na pr?tica cl?nica, um grande n?mero de pacientes n?o diagnosticadas ou tratadas de forma incorreta. / Inaccurate diagnosis of vulvovaginitis generates inadequate treatments that cause damages women's health. Objective: evaluate the effectiveness of methods when diagnosing vulvovaginitis. Method: a cross-sectional study was performed with 200 women who complained about vaginal discharge. Vaginal smear was collected for microbiological tests, considering the gram stain method as gold standard. The efficacy of the available methods for diagnosis of vaginal discharge was assessed (sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value). Data were inserted to Graphpad Prism 6, for statistical analysis. Results: the following results were obtained: wet mount for vaginal candidiasis: sensitivity = 31%; specificity = 97%; positive predictive value (PPV) = 54%; negative predictive value (NPV) =93%; accuracy = 91%. Wet mount for bacterial vaginosis: sensitivity = 80%; specificity =95%; positive predictive value (PPV) = 80%; negative predictive value (NPV) = 95%; accuracy = 92%. Syndromic approach for bacterial vaginosis: sensitivity = 95%; specificity=43%; positive predictive value (PPV) =30%; negative predictive value (NPV) = 97%; accuracy = 54%. Syndromic approach for vaginal candidiasis: sensitivity = 75%; specificity =91%; positive predictive value (PPV) = 26%; negative predictive value (NPV) = 98%; accuracy = 90%. Pap smear for vaginal candidiasis: sensitivity = 68%, specificity = 98%; positive predictive value (PPV) = 86%; negative predictive value (NPV) =96%; accuracy = 96%. Pap smear for bacterial vaginosis: sensitivity = 75%; specificity = 100%; positive predictive value (PPV) = 100%; negative predictive value (NPV) =94%; accuracy = 95%. There was only one case of vaginal trichomoniasis reported ? diagnosed by oncological cytology and wet mount ? confirmed by Gram. The syndromic approach diagnosed it as bacterial vaginosis. From the data generated and with support on world literature, the Maternidade Escola Janu?rio Cicco?s vulvovaginitis protocol was constructed. Conclusion: Pap smear and wet mount showed respectively low and very low sensitivity for vaginal candidiasis. Syndromic approach presented very low specificity and accuracy for bacterial vaginosis, which implies a large number of patients who are diagnosed or treated incorrectly.

A preceptoria em sa?de ? uma pr?tica pedag?gica, que ocorre no ambiente de trabalho, conduzida por profissionais da assist?ncia, com cargo de professor ou n?o, onde a grande maioria desses atua de forma intuitiva, reproduzindo sua pr?pria forma??o, confundindo transmiss?o de informa??o com ensino. Estes preceptores muitas vezes n?o dominam os saberes pedag?gicos, necess?rios ? organiza??o de a??es formativas, tais como os diversos processos de ensino-aprendizagem e as diferentes modalidades de avalia??o. Esta ? primordial no processo de forma??o dos discentes da ?rea da sa?de, sendo por ocasi?o dos est?gios supervisionados que o processo de ensino-aprendizagem fundamenta-se na experi?ncia pr?tica com a participa??o em situa??es reais de vida e de trabalho profissional. Foi realizado um estudo do tipo explorat?rio, descritivo de abordagem qualitativa, com o desenvolvimento do curso de preceptoria em ensino na sa?de como produto final. Aplicado question?rio semiestruturado no per?odo de maio a julho de 2014, foram avaliados 162 profissionais de sa?de que desenvolviam a preceptoria, o que tornou poss?vel tra?ar o perfil do preceptor e identificar as necessidades pedag?gicas que fundamentou a constru??o do conte?do program?tico e a an?lise da percep??o destes profissionais quanto a preceptoria atrav?s da identifica??o de tr?s categorias: valoriza??o do conhecimento cl?nico; valoriza??o da orienta??o profissional e valoriza??o da forma??o do futuro profissional. O curso foi disponibilizado na modalidade ? dist?ncia atrav?s da plataforma Moodle com carga hor?ria de quarenta horas nos meses de outubro e novembro de 2014, com o objetivo de capacitar os profissionais de sa?de para o desenvolvimento de habilidades e compet?ncias necess?rias ao exerc?cio da preceptoria atrav?s de reflex?es sobre os conceitos de preceptoria, forma??o profissional dentro das Diretrizes Curriculares e preceitos do SUS, o papel do profissional de sa?de enquanto educador, aplica??o de metodologias ativas de ensino aprendizado, e m?todos de avalia??o. As inscri??es foram realizadas on-line atrav?s de link; das 300 vagas oferecidas, 243 profissionais se inscreveram, e 133 que exerciam preceptoria foram selecionados, destes 48 profissionais executavam sua pratica no local do estudo. O curso teve dura??o de 45 dias, e contou com tutores respons?veis por interagir e avaliar os alunos. Participaram do curso 28 profissionais, 12 conclu?ram. Oportunidades de melhoria foram identificadas para estimular a participa??o, por?m a satisfa??o dos concluintes nos leva a confirmar que, investir em qualifica??o do preceptor, partindo dos preceitos da Educa??o Permanente, proporcionar? uma maior apropria??o dos saberes para o ensino e consequente conscientiza??o do seu papel de educador no ?mbito do trabalho, facilitando a integra??o entre teoria e pr?tica e consequente melhoria do processo de ensino-aprendizagem. / This study aimed to construct and carry out a distance course of pedagogical training for health professional performing preceptorship functions in public health institutions. The preceptorship in health is a pedagogical practice that occurs in workplace, led by assistance professionals with teaching position or not, where the vast majority of these acts intuitively, reproducing their own training, confusing transmitting information with education. These preceptors often do not dominate the pedagogical knowledge, necessary for the organization of training activities, such as the various teaching-learning processes and the different assessment types. Student supervision is essential in the training process of students in the health field, and on the occasion of supervised internships that the teaching-learning process is based on practical experience with participation in real life situations and professional work. It was realized an exploratory study, descriptive with qualitative approach, with the development of tutoring teaching course in health as final product. Applied semi structured research instrument from may to july 2014. It were evaluated 162 health professionals who perform the preceptorship, which made it possible define the preceptor's profile and identify the educational requirements related to the educational process, which justified the construction of the program content and the professionals? perception analysis about preceptorship through identification of three categories: clinic knowledge valuation; valuation of professional orientation and valuation of professional future. The course was available on distance mode through Moodle platform with forty hours of work load from October to November 2014. With the aim of capacitate the health professionals to development of necessary abilities and skills to tutoring performance through thoughts about tutoring concepts, professional training within the curricular guidelines and SUS precepts, the role of health professionals as educators, application of active teaching methodologies, and evaluation methods. The applications were done online through the provided link; 300 vacancies offered, 243 professionals applied, chosen 134 that works on tutoring, where 49 represented professionals that works on the location of the study. The course lasted 45 days, and counted with tutors responsible to interact and evaluate the students. 28 professionals joined the course, 12 concluded. Opportunities were identified to stimulate the involvement, however the professionals? satisfaction shows that, make an investment on tutors education, starting from the Permanent Education precepts, will provide a bigger appropriation of the knowledge to the education and therefore the awareness of their role as an educator on work ambit, proportioning essential tools to tutors act while enabler of integration between theory and practice and result better teaching-learning process.

Para o levantamento dos dados foi utilizado um question?rio estruturado composto por quest?es abertas e fechadas, aplicado aos grupos formados por profissionais da sa?de, m?dico, dentista, enfermeiro e agentes de sa?de, e estudantes dos cursos de medicina, enfermagem, educa??o f?sica, nutri??o e servi?o social. Os profissionais/estudantes responderam ao question?rio acera das poss?veis dificuldades enfrentadas no atendimento ao surdo. A coleta de dados com os usu?rios surdos foi realizada atrav?s de comando dado em L?ngua brasileira de Sinais (Libras), sendo a entrevista filmada para que a Libras pudesse ser interpretada para o portugu?s, pelo pesquisador. Com os surdos foi realizado um levantamento de suas rea??es ao procurar um atendimento no servi?o de sa?de. A an?lise dos resultados se deu a partir da estat?stica descritiva simples (frequ?ncias absolutas e relativas). As quest?es abertas foram analisadas atrav?s da t?cnica de tem?tica categorial, a qual permitiu o processo de categoriza??o preservando todos os aspectos levantados na discuss?o, de forma que as falas foram representativas da totalidade. A partir da analise das entrevistas com os profissionais e estudantes no que se refere ? atitude utilizada para se comunicar com poss?veis pacientes surdos emergiram as seguintes categorias: a ?escrita?, os ?gestos? e o ?aux?lio a terceiros?. J? os surdos quando questionados sobre suas experi?ncias ao buscar atendimento em sa?de, as categorias elucidadas foram: ?assist?ncia ao surdo?, ?comunica??o com o surdo? e ?depend?ncia de terceiros?. As quest?es fechadas foram mensuradas e adaptadas a Escala de Likert em 5 graus de varia??o, que compuseram tr?s destas quest?es: grau de dificuldade na comunica??o ao atender um paciente com d?ficit auditivo (m?nima a grande dificuldade); sentimento de conforto para utilizar a l?ngua de sinais (m?nimo a grande desconforto); e conhecimento sobre a Lei 10.436, que disp?e sobre a L?ngua Brasileira de Sinais (Libras) (baixo conhecimento a totalmente esclarecido). Os dados coletados com os profissionais e estudantes revelaram certo desconhecimento e desconforto no atendimento em sa?de aos pacientes surdos, realidade tamb?m evidenciada na opini?o dos surdos participantes. Este diagn?stico poder? ser relevante para elabora??o de pol?ticas p?blicas e diretrizes curriculares essenciais ? forma??o dos profissionais da sa?de, inclus?o e melhoria da assist?ncia aos surdos. / The study aimed to identify in the professionals and students of health courses that work in a health Basic Unit in the city of Natal/RN their perceptions of the care of deaf patients, and with the population's needs with hearing loss in relation to health care. This is a cross-sectional, exploratory, descriptive study, conducted between April to July 2014, with a population composed of 21 health professionals, 17 students and 8 deaf users. For data collection, we used a structured questionnaire with open and closed questions applied to groups composed of health professionals (doctors, dentists, nurses and health workers) and students of medical schools, nursing, physical education, nutrition and social service. The professionals/students answered a semi-structured questionnaire with open and closed questions concerning the possible difficulties the care of the deaf and hearing impaired. Data collection with deaf users was conducted through filmed interview for the Brazilian Sign Language (Libras) could be interpreted as to the Portuguese by the researcher. With the latter it was conducted a survey of their reactions when looking for a care in the health service. Regarding the profile of identification of the subjects, it was analyzed by simple descriptive statistics (absolute and relative frequencies). The open questions were analyzed through the content analysis technique which allowed the categorization process preserving all the points raised in the discussion so that the lines were representative of the whole. When asked about the professionals and students attitude used to communicate with deaf patients possible the following categories emerged: the "writing", the "gestures" and the "third party assistance". With regard of the deaf, when asked about their experiences in seeking care in health, the elucidated categories were: "quality of care to the hearing impaired", "communication with the hearing impaired adequacy" and "dependence on third parties." The closed questions were measured and adapted to the 5 degrees of variation Likert Scale, which comprised three of these issues: degree of difficulty in communication to meet a patient with hearing loss (minimum to great difficulty); feeling of comfort while using sign language (minimum to severe discomfort); and knowledge of the Law 10.436, which provides for the Brazilian Sign Language (Libras) (low knowledge to entirely clear). The data collected with professionals and students revealed some misunderstanding and discomfort in health care for deaf patients, reality also evidenced in the opinion of the deaf participants. This study revealed problems in communication, resulting in negative consequences in serving this population. This diagnosis may be relevant to public policy development and curriculum guidelines essential to the training of health professionals, inclusion and improving assistance to deaf.

Esse aplicativo funcionar? como um guia de disseca??o, contendo texto, fotos, desenhos e v?deos, distribu?dos de forma sistematizada, seguindo um roteiro, buscando enfatizar a import?ncia cl?nica e cir?rgica da Anatomia do pesco?o. / The teaching-learning process requires a constant search on the part of educators for didatic innovations aimed at improving learning. Among these are technological innovations our students are familiar with. In human anatomy teaching, these innovations are increasingly important, since the need for ?mechanizing? many structures may make learning tiresome and nonstimulating for students. The search for new technologies may make this process simpler. Another important issue is the need to constantly emphasize applying the knowledge in question, in order for students to better understand the meaning of learning. Accordingly, this project aims to develop an interactive tablet application for neck anatomy. This application will function as a guide to dissection, containing text, photographs, drawings and videos, distributed systematically, with a script emphasizing the clinical and surgical importance of neck anatomy.

Foram empregados testes x 2 para verificar associa??o entre os fatores de risco para morbi - mortalidade materna e testes t de student para avaliar compet?ncias dos alunos da gradua??o e residentes referentes ao teste cognitivo e ao Mini - cex. Resultados: Foram encontrados como riscos relativos significativamente elevados para desenvolvimento de near miss quando comparada a morbidade materna grave, a ra?a n?o - branca (OR=2,527; RR=2,342); pacientes casadas (OR=7,968; RR=7,113), escolaridade at? 2? grau incompleto (OR=3,177; RR=2,829), procedente do interior (OR=4,643; RR=4,087), renda familiar menor que 1 sa l?rio m?nimo (OR=7,014; RR=5,554), dist?rbios hipertensivos gestacionais (OR=16,35; RR=13,27), realiza??o do pr? - natal (OR=5,023; RR=4,254) e a via de parto ces?rea (OR=39,21; RR=31,25). Na an?lise cognitiva, foi notada uma diferen?a significativa nas perf ormances dos estudantes sobre o tema (3,75 ? 0,93, 4,03 ? 0,94 e 4,88 ? 0,35 m?dias e desvios padr?es dos acad?micos, internos e residentes, respectivamente; p < 0,01) e no Mini - cex mostrando um melhor desempenho global dos residentes quando comparados aos alunos da gradua??o. Conclus?es: Quest?es socioecon?micas, cl?nicas e assistenciais mostraram - se relacionados ? preval?ncia de near miss , revelando a import?ncia de interven??es amplas para melhorar estes indicadores. Sugere - se, tamb?m, uma maior inser??o curricular do tema nas disciplinas do curso m?dico, tendo em vista a import?ncia de se evitar a near miss atrav?s da adequa??o no ?mbito da educa??o m?dica. / Objective: Evaluate the determinants of morbidity and mortality in an obstetric intensive care unit and professional medical skills of students/residents at a university hospital. Methods: observational cross - sectional with 492 pregnant/pue rperal women and 261 students/residents. Patients were admitted to the obstetric intensive care unit during a year, being informed about the proposals of the study and a questionnaire was applied. The analysis was performed using Microsoft Excel 2013 and G raphPad6. Chi - square tests were used to evaluate risk factors and student t test evaluates resident/students' skills concerning the cognitive test and the Mini - Cex. Results: the main risk factors to near miss were: non - white race (OR = 2.527; RR = 2.342) ; marital status(married women) (OR = 7.968; RR = 7.113) , schooling (primary) (OR = 3.177 ; RR = 2.829) , from country town (OR = 4.643 ; RR = 4.087), low income (OR = 7014 ; RR = 5.554) , gestational hypertensive disorders (OR = 16.35 ; RR = 13.27) , re alization of pre - natal (OR = 5.023 ; RR = 4.254) and C - section before labor(OR = 39.21 ; RR = 31.25). In cognitive/Mini - cex analysis were noted significant difference in the performance of students on the subject (3.75 ? 0.93, 4.03 ? 0.94 and 4.88 ? 0.35). We still observed the best performance of residents, when compared to graduation students (p < 0.01). Conclusions: the prevalence of near miss was associated with socioeconomic/clinics factors and care issues, revealing the importance of interventions to improve these indicators. In addition, we suggest a better curriculum insertion of this subject in the medical Course disciplines due the importance to avoid the near miss through of adequacy of medical education.

Trata-se de estudo transversal, descritivo, incluindo a an?lise documental dos processos de credenciamento dos programas (PCP) de resid?ncia m?dica em cardiologia vigentes no Estado do Rio Grande do Norte (RN) no ano de 2014 e a an?lise da percep??o do residente sobre a sua forma??o como especialista em cardiologia. Al?m da an?lise documental dos PCPs, foi aplicado um question?rio semiestruturado, com perguntas fechadas, do tipo Likert, e abertas a todos os residentes e egressos dos PRM analisados. Foram identificados dois PRM em Cardiologia no Estado do RN, sendo um programa sediado em institui??o p?blica e outro em institui??o privada. A an?lise documental mostrou uma maior quantidade de preceptores com um maior titularidade na institui??o p?blica em rela??o a privada, assim como uma maior produ??o acad?mica, como publica??es em revistas indexadas, publica??o de livros, cap?tulos de livros e participa??o em congressos. A institui??o privada apresenta uma melhor infraestrutura de urg?ncias, com pronto socorro e Unidade de Terapia Intensiva (UTI) cardiol?gica. Percebe-se que os residentes t?m consci?ncia de como deve funcionar uma boa resid?ncia, assim como as fortalezas e fragilidades das resid?ncias que participam. A maioria dos residentes do Hospital Universit?rio Onofre Lopes (HUOL) destaca como fortalezas a organiza??o, participa??o e qualidade dos preceptores, atividades pr?ticas e discuss?es cient?ficas, grande quantidade de pacientes e as visitas e discuss?es com preceptores nas enfermarias. Citam como maiores fragilidades a falta de servi?os de urg?ncia pr?prio, bem como UTI especializada. No Hospital do Cora??o de Natal (HCor), observa-se como ponto fraco a programa??o te?rica e poucas pr?ticas ambulatoriais. Como vantagens, citam os preceptores, agilidade na realiza??o dos exames, um bom n?mero de pacientes graves e de procedimentos. Observa-se, nas duas resid?ncias, uma certa dificuldade de aceita??o em itens importantes e obrigat?rios de acordo com as normas da Comiss?o Nacional de Resid?ncias M?dicas (CNRM), como: a bioestat?stica, bio?tica, ?tica m?dica, epidemiologia e metodologia da pesquisa. Al?m disso, os residentes reconhecem que ambos os hospitais t?m uma boa infraestrutura e suporte tecnol?gico, em especial aos m?todos de imagens. A avalia??o dos PRMCs possibilitou identificar as fortalezas de cada programa e os aspectos a serem aprimorados nos mesmo. Permitiu tamb?m a observa??o de dificuldades na aceita??o de algumas normativas contidas na resolu??o da CNRM pelo residente, como a participa??o em atividades como a bioestat?stica, epidemiologia e metodologia da pesquisa, bem como a necessidades de melhoria da forma??o t?cnica espec?fica, como na urg?ncia e emerg?ncia. Desta forma, nossos resultados possibilitar?o elaborar estrat?gias para aprimoramento continuado dos PRMC do estado. Ademais, possibilitou a elabora??o do manual do residente em cardiologia, contendo, inclusive, o detalhamento do sistema de avalia??o do residente, que poder? servir de modelo para outros programas de resid?ncia m?dica. / The present study had as goal to evaluate Rio Grande do Norte state?s medical residency programs (MRP) in Cardiology. It?s a descriptive study, including a documental analysis of the program?s accreditation processes (PAP) of cardiology?s medical residency in Rio Grande do Norte state in 2014 and the analysis of the resident?s perception about his professional education as a specialist in Cardiology. Beside the documental analysis of the PAPs, it was applied a semi-structured questionnaire with closed questions Likert style and open questions to all the current and former residents of the MRPs analyzed. Two MRPs in Cardiology were identified in Rio Grande do Norte state, one hosted in a public institution and the other in a private institution. The documental analysis showed a greater amount of preceptors with a good level of ownership on the public institution in comparison with the private one, as well as a bigger number of publications, participation in congresses and in book?s publications. The private institution presents a better Urgency?s infrastructure, with emergency room and cardiologic ICU. It IS clear that the residents are aware of how a good residency must work, as well as the strengths and fragilities of their own residences. Most of Onofre Lopes Universitary Hospital?s residents point out as a strength the organization, participation and quality of the preceptors, practice activities and scientific debates, great amount of patients and the visits and debates with the preceptors on the sickrooms. As the greatest fragilities, they emphasize the lack of a urgency service of their own and a specialized ICU. In Cora??o Hospital of Natal (HCor), it is listed as weak points the theoretic scheduling and the few ambulatory practices. As positive aspects, they report the preceptors, the agility on the execution of exams, a good number of serious patients and procedures. In both residences, it is seen a certain difficulty in accepting the important and mandatory items imposed by the rules of the Medical Residences? National Committee, such as: biostatistics, bioethics, medical ethic, epidemiology and research methodology. Besides that, the residents recognize that both hospitals have a good infrastructure and technological support, especially in imaging methods. The evaluation of PRMCs identifies the strengths of each program and the aspects to be improved in both programs. It also allowed the observation of difficulties in accepting some regulations contained in the CNRM resolution by the resident, such as participation in activities such as biostatistics, epidemiology and research methodology as well as the improvement needs of specific technical training, such as in emergency care. Thus, our results make possible to develop strategies for continued improvement of PRMC in RN state. In addition, it enabled the preparation of the resident?s manual in cardiology, containing even a breakdown of resident evaluation system, which could serve as a model for other residency programs.

METODOLOGIA: Foi realizado um estudo de abordagem transversal e de car?ter descritivo quali-quantitativo, com graduandos em Medicina e Enfermagem da UFRN, que estavam cursando ou j? haviam cursado as disciplinas de obstetr?cia, na medicina e sa?de da mulher, na enfermagem. Os dados foram coletados atrav?s de um question?rio com quest?es objetivas e subjetivas, e armazenados em um banco de dados, em planilha do software Excel/Office 2010 com todas as vari?veis. RESULTADOS: Foram entrevistados 169 estudantes, 118 do curso de medicina e 51 do curso de enfermagem, dos quais 46,75% eram do sexo masculino e 53,25% do sexo feminino. O maior n?mero de entrevistados de medicina estava no 11? per?odo (40,67%), e de enfermagem, no 10?, (43,15%). Esses alunos presenciaram 1.073 partos, dos quais 61,8% via vaginal. Os m?dicos obstetras foram os que mais realizaram partos vaginais (40%). Os enfermeiros realizaram apenas (8,13%). A assist?ncia prestada ?s mulheres, durante o processo do trabalho de parto e parto, configurou-se como adequada para 87,58% dos entrevistados e estes vislumbraram condutas humanizadas. Dos estudantes que realizaram partos, 76,27% eram de medicina e 11,76% eram de enfermagem. Todos receberam orienta??o durante essa atividade. Um total de 19,50% estudantes de medicina relatou existir preconceito contra o parto normal, principalmente quanto ao parto humanizado, ao contr?rio de todos os estudantes de enfermagem (100%) que relataram n?o existir este preconceito. A maioria das estudantes (73%) apresentava prefer?ncia pelo parto vaginal, sobretudo as estudantes de enfermagem. Sobre o conhecimento de mitos em rela??o ao parto normal, 60,35% responderam conhecer algum. CONCLUS?O: O estudo se apresenta como de grande relev?ncia, uma vez que os resultados encontrados podem contribuir para modifica??o e atualiza??o curriculares do ensino da obstetr?cia, como tamb?m servir como subs?dio para a an?lise das pr?ticas de humaniza??o que devem ser desenvolvidas nas institui??es de ensino e que s?o preconizadas pelo Minist?rio da Sa?de. / OBJETIVE: To evaluate the perception of Medical and Nursing students of Medicine and Nursing graduation courses at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), on obstetrics teaching and labor assistance in the context of the maternal care provided by the Maternity Hospital Janu?rio Cicco (MEJC) and contribute to curricular updating planning of teaching obstetrics, in accordance with the principles of humanization. METHODS: It was conducted a study of cross-cutting approach and qualitative and quantitative descriptive method, with students in medicine and nursing of UFRN, who were attending or had been attended the midwifery disciplines medicine; and women's health in nursing. The data were collected through a questionnaire with objective and subjective questions, and stored in a database, spreadsheet software Excel / Office 2010 with all the variables. RESULTS: We interviewed 169 students, 118 of medical school and 51 from the nursing program, of which 46.75% were male and 53.25% female. The largest number of medical respondents is the 11th period (40.67%), and nursing, on 10, (43.15%). These students witnessed 1,073 births, and (61.8%) vaginal deliveries. The obstetricians were the most performed vaginal deliveries (40%). Nurses performed only (8.13%). The assistance provided to women during the process of labor and delivery, was configured as suitable for 87.58% of respondents and these glimpsed humane conduct. Students who performed deliveries, 76.27% were medical and 11.76% were nursing. All had guidance while doing them. A total of 19.50% medical students reported that there is a prejudice against vaginal delivery, particularly for the humanized birth, unlike all nursing students (100%) who reported that there is this prejudice. Most students (73%) showed preference for vaginal delivery, especially nursing students. On the knowledge of myths in relation to vaginal delivery, 60.35% answered that they know some. CONCLUSION: This study presents itself as a highly relevant, since the results may contribute to curricular changing and updating related to obstetrics teaching, but also serve as a resource for analysis of humanization practices that should be developed in educational institutions and which are recommended by the Ministry of Health.
