街道特徵與地標位置識別之研究 / Content-based map localization using street map with landmarks

隨著GIS的發展,地圖定位成為空間查詢中極為普遍的行為。一般地圖定位大多透過地址來進行,但是在缺乏地址的情況之下,進行地圖上之定位變成極為困難之事。 本論文嘗試對手繪地圖在真實地圖上進行定位,我們提出了一套機制,使用者可以隨意地以手繪方式繪製街道圖與地標,透過我們提出的方法,即可自動地在真實的地圖上進行定位。 論文中,我們使用相鄰街廓中之地標配置與相鄰之交叉路口之地標配置等變數組成的表示法來描述地圖。我們將手繪地圖與真實地圖轉換成這些表示法,並透過字串編輯距離、圖同構等關係來比較手繪地圖與真實地圖之相似度,從而對手繪地圖進行定位。 實作中,我們挑選了幾處真實場景在台北市地圖中進行比對並觀察其結果。系統採用之地標包括政府機構(如派出所、消防隊、區公所等)、學校、醫院等資料。在實驗中,應用這套表示法可成功的定位出使用者所輸入之各場景所在位置。另外,透過控制相似度門檻值,我們可以調整辨識之精確度,不至於錯失可能之定位結果。 / As the widely spread of the GIS applications, map localization becomes one of the most important features in the spatial information retrieval. Normally, map localization is done through street addresses. Without this information, map localization becomes very difficult. In this research, we are trying to do map localization using hand drawing maps. We proposed a mechanism that can localize the user's drawing map in the reference map automatically. Our approaches use the landmark configurations of the adjacent street blocks as well as the landmark configurations of the adjacent street intersections as the descriptors in representing a map. The user's hand drawn maps and the reference maps are converted into these representations. The string editing distances and graph isomorphism are used in determining the similarities between the hand drawn map and the reference map. The map localization can be done by comparing these similarities. We used various real scenes in Taipei City to verify our systems. The landmarks we used including police offices, fire stations, county offices, schools and hospitals, etc. The experimental results shown that our system can localize the user's input successfully. Moreover, by controlling thresholds in similarity analysis, we can adjust the system's accuracy that reduces possibility of miss localizations.

<p>Under vår skolförlagda utbildning har vi varit på olika skolor, där vi sett att lärarnas undervisning varierade stort i dessa skolor. Vi undrar varför det är så mycket ämnesstrukturerad undervisning ute på skolorna och varför inte lärarna undervisar mer ämnesintegrerat när vi ser att det finns möjligheter till detta. En av de viktigaste uppgifterna som verksamma lärare bör ha, är att ge eleverna möjligheter till överblick och sammanhang mellan ämnen. Syftet med vår studie var att undersöka varför lärarna integrerar och varför inte lärarna integrerar i skolorna. Vår undersökning grundar sig på telefonintervjuer med 25 lärare från två kommuner.</p><p>Vår studie visar att lärarna integrerar ämnena för att eleverna ska förstå samband och se helheter. Flertalet av lärare undervisar utifrån ett arbetsområde där de utgår från den stora helheten för att sedan leda in undervisningen till delar och små bitar. Vid verklighetsrelaterad undervisning kan undervisningen bli integrerad och när eleverna känner igen sig, har eleverna lättare att ta till sig undervisningen, menar lärarna i vår studie.</p><p>Svårigheter som kan uppstå vid integrerad undervisning är t ex olika lärarkategorier och att integrerad undervisning kräver en tidskrävande planering samt brist på integrerat läromedel. Det fanns lärare som deltog i studien som ansåg sig lägga ner mycket tid och kraft att skapa eget integrerat läromedel. 20 stycken lärare i studien undervisar huvudsakligen integrerat men de undervisar också ämnesstrukturerat. Med varierade undervisningsformer kan lärarna nå ut till fler elever då åsikterna gått isär om vilken undervisningsform som gagnar vem. </p>

Universal graph literacy: understanding how blind and low vision students can satisfy the common core standards with accessible auditory graphs

Auditory graphs and active point estimation provide an inexpensive, accessible alternative for low vision and blind K-12 students using number lines and coordinate graphs. In the first phase of this research program, a series of four psychophysics studies demonstrated an interactive auditory number line that enables blind, low vision, and sighted people to find small targets with a laptop, headphones, and a mouse or a keyboard. The Fitts' Law studies showed that, given appropriate auditory feedback, blind people can use a mouse. In addition, auditory feedback can generate target response patterns similar to when people use visual feedback. Phase two introduced SQUARE, a novel method for building accessible alternatives to existing education technologies. The standards-driven and teacher-directed approach generated 17 graphing standards for sixth grade mathematics, all of which emphasized point estimation. It also showed that how only few basic behavioral components are necessary for these graphing problems. The third phase evaluated active point estimation tools in terms of training, classroom situations, and a testing situation. This work shows that students can learn to graph in K-12 environments, regardless of their visual impairment. It also provides several technologies used for graphing, and methods to further develop education accessibility research.

However, with the rise in the mainland market, the case company is full of many opportunities. This paper will research the sale strategy during these changeable situations. Rašalinio spausdintuvo spalvų gamos tyrimas / Investigation of colour gamut of ink – jet printer

It was investigated the colour reproduction on prints made in ink-jet printer. Experimentally investigated gradation characteristics of CMYK colours. It was made a 26 step strip with raster dots from 0 to 100 %. Prints were made at different printing regimes on papers with different whiteness. Zone optical densities were measured, compared with theoretical density values and gradational distortions were determined. Also were measured 100% raster strips in CIE L*a*b* coordinate system and defined the maximum reproduction of colours in ink-jet printer.

以基因演算法優化最小二乘支持向量機於坐標轉換之研究 / Coordinate Transformation Using Genetic Algorithm Based Least Square Support Vector Machine

由於採用的地球原子不同,目前,台灣地區有兩種坐標系統存在,TWD67(Taiwan Datum 1967) 和TWD97(Taiwan Datum 1997)。在應用上,必須進行不同地球原子間之坐標轉換。坐標轉換方面,有許多方法可供選擇,如六參數轉換、支持向量機(Support Vector Machine, SVM)轉換等。 最小二乘支持向量機(Least Square Support Vector Machine, LSSVM),為SVM的一種演算法,是一種非線性模型。LSSVM在運用上所需之參數少,能夠解決小樣本、非線性、高維度和局部極小點等問題。目前,LSSVM,已經被成功運用在影像分類和統計迴歸等領域上。 本研究將利用LSSVM採用不同之核函數:線性核函數(LIN)、多項式核函數(POLY)及徑向基核函數(RBF)進行TWD97和TWD67之坐標轉換。研究中並使用基因演算法來調整LSSVM的RBF核函數之系統參數(後略稱RBF+GA),找出較佳之系統參數組合以進行坐標轉換。模擬與實測之地籍資料,將被用以測試LSSVM及六參數坐標轉換方法的轉換精度。 研究結果顯示,RBF+GA在各實驗區之轉換精度優於參數優化前RBF之轉換精度,且RBF+GA之轉換精度也較六參數轉換之轉換精度高。 進行參數優化後,RBF+GA相對於RBF的精度提升率如下:(1)模擬實驗區:參考點與檢核點數量比分別為1:1、2:1、3:1、1:2及1:3時,精度提升率分別為15.2%、21.9%、33.2%、12.0%、11.7%;(2)真實實驗區:花蓮縣、台中市及台北市實驗區之精度提升率分別為20.1%、32.4% 、22.5%。 / There are two coordinate systems with different geodetic datum in Taiwan region, i.e., TWD67 (Taiwan Datum 1967) and TWD97 (Taiwan Datum 1997). In order to maintain the consistency of cadastral coordinates, it is necessary to transform from one coordinate system to another. There are many coordinate transformation methods, such as, 2-dimension 6-parameter transformation, and support vector machine (SVM). Least Square Support Vector Machine (LSSVM), is one type of SVM algorithms, and it is also a non-linear model。LSSVM needs a few parameters to solve non-linear, high-dimension problems, and it has been successfully applied to the fields of image classification, and statistical regression. The goal of this paper is to apply LSSVM with different kernel functions (POLY、LIN、RBF) to cadastral coordinate transformation between TWD67 and TWD97. Genetic Algorithm will be used to find out an appropriate set of system parameters for LSSVM with RBF kernel to transform the cadastral coordinates. The simulated and real data sets will be used to test the performances, and coordinate transformation accuracies of LSSVM with different kernel functions and 6-parameter transformation. According to the test results, it is found that after optimizing the RBF parameters (RBF+GA), the transformation accuracies using RBF+GA are better than RBF, and even better than those of 6-parameter transformation. Comparing with the transformation accuracies using RBF, the transformation accuracy improving rate of RBF+GA are : (1) The simulated data sets: when the amount ratio of reference points and check points comes to 1:1, 2:1, 3:1, 1:2 and 1:3, the transformation accuracy improving rate are 15.2%, 21.9%, 33.2%, 12.0% and 11.7%, respectively; (2) The real data sets: the transformation accuracy improving rate of RBF+GA for the Hualien, Taichung and Taipei data sets are 20.1%, 32.4% and 22.5%, respectively.

Αντικείμενο της διατριβής είναι η επίλυση των προβλημάτων της σκέδασης επιπέδων ακουστικών κυμάτων χαμηλών συχνοτήτων από ένα διαπερατό σφαιρικό κέλυφος με έκκεντρο μαλακό, σκληρό ή διαπερατό πυρήνα και από μια μαλακή σφαίρα κάτω από ένα διαπερατό επίπεδο. Η λύση των προβλημάτων σκέδασης στην περιοχή χαμηλών συχνοτήτων επιδέχεται ανάπτυγμα Taylor σε δυνάμεις του κυματικού αριθμού k, όπου οι συντελεστές του αναπτύγματος (προσεγγίσεις χαμηλής συχνότητας) συνιστούν ακολουθία λύσεων στάσιμων προβλημάτων της θεωρίας δυναμικού. Ένα πρόβλημα σκέδασης μπορεί να δεχθεί προσέγγιση χαμηλών συχνοτήτων όταν το μήκος κύματος της κυματικής διαταραχής είναι πολύ μεγαλύτερο από την ακτίνα της ελάχιστης περιγεγραμμένης σφαίρας του σκεδαστή. Το δισφαιρικό σύστημα συντεταγμένων παρέχει κατάλληλο περιβάλλον για την επίλυση προβλημάτων πολλαπλής σκέδασης από δύο σφαίρες Αυτό ισχύει μόνο στη περιοχή των χαμηλών συχνοτήτων δεδομένου ότι η εξίσωση Laplace επιδέχεται διαμορφωμένο χωρισμό στις δισφαιρικές συντεταγμένες, ενώ δεν συμβαίνει το ίδιο στην εξίσωση Helmholtz. Προσαρμόζοντας το δισφαιρικό σύστημα συντεταγμένων στην δεδομένη γεωμετρία του κάθε προβλήματος απλουστεύεται η περιγραφή των χώρων που ορίζονται από το έκκεντρο σφαιρικό κέλυφος και οι σφαιρικές επιφάνειες του προβλήματός μας περιγράφονται από διαφορετικές τιμές της ίδιας συντεταγμένης μεταβλητής, ενώ ο απομακρυσμένος χώρος περιγράφεται από μια γειτονιά της αρχής των συντεταγμένων στο παραμετρικό χώρο των μεταβλητών η, θ. Επιλύοντας τα αντίστοιχα προβλήματα συνοριακών συνθηκών για μηδενική και πρώτης τάξεως προσεγγίσεις, καταλήγουμε σε αντίστοιχες αναγωγικές εξισώσεις ακολουθιών των συντελεστών ή αντίστοιχα συστήματα αναγωγικών εξισώσεων. Δεδομένου ότι οι ακολουθίες των συντελεστών συγκλείνουν ταχύτατα, περιοριζόμαστε στους πρώτους όρους συντελεστών και οι αναδρομικές εξισώσεις ή τα συστήματα αναγωγικών εξισώσεων ανάγονται σε εξισώσεις πινάκων ή γραμμικά συστήματα εξισώσεων με άγνωστους πίνακες στήλες και συντελεστές των αγνώστων τριδιαγώνιοι πίνακες. Με την πρωτότυπη αυτή μέθοδο προσδιορίζονται ακριβώς οι πρώτοι όροι χαμηλών συχνοτήτων των δύο προσεγγίσεων μηδενικής και οι πρώτης τάξεως, και στη συνέχεια οι προσεγγίσεις του πλάτους σκέδασης και των ενεργειακών διατομών σκέδασης. Μειώνοντας την απόσταση d των κέντρων συμπεραίνουμε ότι το πρόβλημα της σκέδασης ομόκεντρου σφαιρικού φλοιού δεν μπορεί να θεωρηθεί ειδική περίπτωση του προαναφερθέντος προβλήματος. / A plane wave is scattered by an acoustically soft, hard or penetrable sphere, covered by a penetrable non-concentric spherical lossless shell which disturbs the propagation of the incident plane wave field. There is exactly one bispherical coordinate system that fits the given two-sphere obstacle. If the wavelength of the incident field is much larger than the radius of the exterior sphere, Low Frequency Theory reduces the scattering problem to a sequence of potential problems which can be solved iteratively Applying the corresponding boundary value problem for each case, a set of two equations results as well as a recurrence equation with three unknown sequence of coefficients for zero-th order, and the first-order approximation is obtained, by solving two sets of two equations and a recurrence equation with three unknown sequence coefficients each for the soft core or the calculation of the zero–th order coefficients of the hard or penetrable core, leads to a solution of a linear system of two equations with two unknown columns and tri-diagonal square matrices are coefficients of the unknown columns, while the first-order approximation is obtained, by solving two linear systems of two equations with four unknown columns and eight tri-diagonal matrices as coefficients of the unknown columns. Applying the cut-off method for soft, hard and penetrable sphere, the low-frequency coefficients of the zero-th and first-order for the near field as well as the first and second-order coefficients are obtained for the normalized scattering amplitude and cross section. Decreasing the distance d of the centres we conclude that the problem of scattering concentric cell cannot be considered special case of mentioned before problem. A plane wave is scattered by an acoustical soft acoustic sphere embedded into an acoustically lossless half space, which disturbs the propagation of the incident wave field. In the first step, the problem of sound diffraction by only a penetrable plane is solved, were the amplitudes of reflective and diffractive acoustical waves are calculated. In the second step the diffractive as an incident wave is scattered by the embedded acoustical soft sphere. The low frequency zero-th and first order coefficients of the near field are calculated for the soft scatterer and finally the scattering amplitude and cross-section are determined.

Application de la méthode des coordonnées collectives à l'analyse de la dynamique des lasers à fibre à modes bloqués / Application of the collective coordinate method to the analysis of the dynamics of mode-locked fiber lasers

Les lasers à fibres à modes bloqués font partie des rares systèmes qui permettent de réaliser une variété de fonctions optiques élaborées, au moyen de peu de composants optiques. La gestion de la dispersion apporte à ce type de lasers une variété de comportements, qui est si riche que la cartographie complète et l’analyse détaillée des états stables deviennent difficilement réalisable lorsqu’on utilise les outils conventionnels basés sur les équations de propagation du champ intra-cavité. Dans cette thèse nous montrons que l’adjonction de la technique des coordonnées collectives aux outils théoriques conventionnels, permet de résoudre au moins en partie le problème de la complexité et l’extrême diversité des états stables des cavités gérées en dispersion. En particulier, nous proposons l’ACCD (approche des coordonnées collectives dynamiques), comme un outil théorique permettant de réaliser des gains de performance substantiels dans des opérations de recherche et caractérisation des états stables du laser. D’autre part, le recours à l’approche des cordonnées collectives nous permet de mettre en évidence des effets majeurs induits par certains phénomènes qui étaient jusqu’à présent largement sous-estimés. Notamment, nous mettons en évidence des modifications majeures desdomaines respectifs des différents états stables du laser, qui surviennent lorsqu’on change la bande passant de la fitre. D’autre part, en considérant une cavité où la largeur spectrale du champ lumineux (3.12 THz) est d’un ordre de grandeur plus petite que la largeur de la bande du gain Raman, nous mettons en lumière des effets remarquables de la diffusion Raman sur les phénomènes d’hystérésis. / Mode-locked fiber laser are among the few systems that allow to achieve a variety of elaborate optical functions, by means of few optical components. The use of dispersion management brings to this type of lasers a variety of behaviors, which is so rich that the complete mapping and detailed analysis of the stable states becomes impractical when conventional tools based on the intra-cavity field propagation equations, are used. In this thesis we show that the addition of the technique ofcollective coordinates to the conventional theoretical tools, allows to solve at least in part the problem of complexity and diversity of the stable states of the cavity. In particular, we propose the DCCA (dynamical collective coordinate approach), as a theoretical tool to achieve substantial performance gains in search and characterization of stable states of the laser. Furthermore, the use of the collective coordinated approach allows us to highlight major effects induced by certain phenomena that were until now largely underestimated. In particular, we highlight major changes in the respective areas ofthe different stable states of the laser, which occur when changing the width of the band-pass filter BPF. Furthermore, considering a cavity where the spectral width of the light field (3.12 THz) is an order of magnitude smaller than the bandwidth of the Raman gain, we highlight remarkable effects of Raman scattering on hysteresis phenomena.

This thesis didactically maps and describes new didactical mathematic environment and the possibilities of its application in teaching in the first grade of primary education. In this thesis I describe the process of an experiment conducted with pupils of the 1st - 5th year of elementary school, with whom I have tried and verified a series of new environment exercises. Based on the reflection of this experiment, and the analysis of pupils' solutions, I formulated a final version of these exercises. I led the process of the whole experiment in line with the constructivist educational style. In the theory part, I am mentioning the important terms of mathematics and its didactics, that are necessary for the purposes of this thesis, and that I refer to the relevant professional literature. This thesis also contains the analysis of chosen textbook collections that are related to its topic. The last part of this thesis is the final and complete series of exercises useful for teaching mathematics in the 1st grade of elementary school, especially if the teacher aims to purposefully develop the pupils' understanding of the terminology and relations from the mathematical areas of analytic geometry, functions and sequences.
