[pt] As Civic Tech como ferramentas tecnológicas para o exercício da cidadania e formação da cidadania global são capazes de fomentar e restaurar valores como cooperação e solidariedade na busca do consenso, conforme os pilares apresentados na Agenda 2030 da ONU – englobando pessoas, planeta, prosperidade, paz e parcerias. Torna-se possível o uso da tecnologia da informação para garantir informações de interesse socioeconômico para os cidadãos, permitindo, portanto, o acesso a informações para o exercício pleno da cidadania. Através do empoderamento do cidadão de um determinado território é possível a formação da cidadania global, rompendo-se a exclusividade imposta pelo mercado, no sentido de as pessoas agirem afirmativamente em prol do bem estar social, individual e coletivo, ou seja, além das ações associadas ao consumo típico de bens e serviços, características da sociedade de consumo e de massa. Neste sentido, o objetivo geral do trabalho é a criação de uma Civic Tech que se disponha à formação da cidadania global através de ações afirmativas com foco no Brasil, por meio do exercício efetivo da cidadania. / [en] Civic Tech as technological tools for the exercise of citizenship and the formation of global citizenship are capable of promoting and restoring values such as cooperation and solidarity in the search for consensus, according to the pillars presented in the UN 2030 Agenda - encompassing people, planet, prosperity, peace and partnerships. It becomes possible to use information technology to guarantee information of socioeconomic interest to citizens, thus allowing access to information for the full exercise of citizenship. Through the empowerment of citizens in a given territory, it is possible to form global citizenship, breaking with the exclusivity imposed by the market, in the sense that people act affirmatively in favor of social, individual and collective well-being, that is, in addition to actions associated with the typical consumption of goods and services, characteristics of consumer and mass society. In this sense, the general objective of the work is the creation of a Civic Tech that is willing to form global citizenship through affirmative actions focused on Brazil, through the effective exercise of citizenship.

Value creation within a digital service platform through the lens of service-dominant (S-D) logic : A case study of Eljun’s digital payment platform

The number of companies who base their business model on digital platforms has increased in the recent years. Successful examples of digital platforms are e.g., Airbnb, Klarna or Uber. Compared to traditional linear value chains the value creation process in digital platforms is characterized by co-creation between multiple actors who exchange resources through interactions to mutually create value. Because of this fundamental difference in the value creation process it is necessary to research value creation in digital platform. Screening the literature has however shown that there is research gap in understandthe value creation process in digital platforms. Therefore, this thesis aims to understand this context by conducting a case study-based research. For this purpose, the start-up company Eljun is chosen that creates a digital wallet for customers to proceed payments for sustainable transportations. By conducting semi-structured interviews with the central actors of the platform we received insights that allow us to answer the three research questions. The value proposition canvas for the first research question has shown that the technical integration, costs, and lack of uncertainty are negative perceived values by the actors and positive values result from synergy effects in the platform like enhancing reach and customer experience by offering complementary services. For the second question we appliedthe view of service-dominant logic to analyse what facilitates value cocreation in the platform which led to the following themes: Adopting customer centric approach, stimulating purposeful communication, fostering collaborative development, cultivating transparent and fair interaction. For the third questions we derived barriers and motivators for value co-creation that are connected to a shared mission, competition, organizational & industrial readiness, number of actors and end-users, and the design of boundary resources.

Цель исследования – опираясь на теоретические и практические основы цифровизации, смоделировать бизнес-процесс для автоматизации коммуникационных процессов в Профсоюзной организации. Объектом исследования выступает информационная система профсоюзной организации студентов ИнЭУ, структурное подразделение ПОС УрФУ. Для достижения данной цели были определены следующие задачи: провести обзор и анализ систем в условиях развития цифровой экономики; сформировать требования к выбору системы для профсоюзной организации; рассмотреть программные продукты для Профсоюзных организаций; смоделировать основную деятельность объекта исследования; создать и проанализировать модель AS-IS, выявить недостатки, построить модель TO-BE; создать концептуальную модель будущей системы; разработать план управления проектом; рассчитать экономическую эффективность проекта. Результаты выпускной квалификационной работы используются в процессе работы Профсоюзной организации студентов ИнЭУ, а также были представлены на научных конференциях. / The purpose of the study is to model a business process for automating communication processes in a trade union organization based on the theoretical and practical foundations of digitalization. The object of the study is the information system of the trade union organization of students of INEU, a structural unit of the UrFU PIC. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were identified: to review and analyze systems in the context of the development of the digital economy; to form requirements for choosing a system for a trade union organization; to consider software products for trade union organizations; simulate the main activity of the research object; create and analyze the AS-IS model, identify shortcomings, build a TO-BE model; create a conceptual model of the future system; develop a project management plan; calculate the economic efficiency of the project. The results of the final qualification work are used in the work of the Trade Union Organization of INEU students and have also been presented at scientific conferences.

User experience is today widely known but the complexity of this phenomenon is rarely left unnoticed. It is righteous to claim that the mobile application landscape is characterized by tough competition and high demands from users. To meet these demands the performance of the application is essential. There appears to exist consensus in existing literature regarding the importance of performance attributes for the user experience of mobile applications. However, there is limited research on how startup time is perceived and its effects on the user experience. Hence, this thesis aims to contribute to this field by investigating the formulated research question: To what extent does startup performance affect the user experience for a mobile application? Using a mixed method approach, this research aims to deepen the understanding of how end users of mobile applications perceive performance. The quantitative part of this study investigates what proxy variables that affect the performance during the startup process of a mobile application. The qualitative part aims to assess how users perceive startup time with respect to influencing factors and the effects on user experience. / Användarupplevelse är idag ett välkänt men komplext fenomen. Marknaden för mobila applikationer karaktäriseras av hård konkurrens och höga krav från användarna där tidigare studier har fastställt att prestanda-attribut har betydelse för användarupplevelsen. Det finns däremot begränsad empirisk litteratur kring hur prestanda uppfattas av användarna och effekterna på användarupplevelsen. Det är inom detta område som denna uppsats syftar till att bidra med kunskap. Detta genom att undersöka och besvara den formulerade forskningsfrågan: I vilken utsträckning påverkar start-prestandan användarupplevelsen för en mobilapplikation? Genom att använda en kombination av kvantitativa och kvalitativa metoder, syftar studien till att öka förståelsen kring hur användare av mobila applikationer uppfattar prestanda. Den kvantitativa studien undersöker vilka proxy-variabler som påverkar starttiden för en mobilapplikation. Den kvalitativa studien syftar följaktligen till att utvärdera hur användare uppfattar starttiden för en mobilapplikation med hänsyn till externa faktorer och dess effekt på användarupplevelsen.

[pt] Esta dissertação visa discutir como os veículos de jornalismo impresso estão sendo levados a mudar os formatos de publicação de notícias para se adequar às normas impostas por gigantes das comunicações como Alphabet e Meta. O estudo discute como este processo se inscreve numa linha do tempo de constantes adaptações do material gráfico jornalístico que visavam o aumento de vendas de exemplares. Usamos conceitos da Economia Política da Comunicação, como os de Bolaño e Harvey, além de Zuboff para contextualizar o papel que as empresas detentoras do Google e Instagram têm na disrupção do modelo de negócios jornalismo. Comparamos os perfis no Instagram da Revista Trip e do portal G1, com o recorte das postagens no formato de carrossel de janeiro a junho de 2023. Propusemos a subdivisão das amostras em cinco categorias distintas, de acordo com suas especificidades narrativas. Constatamos que as convenções de diagramação de revistas e jornais impressos foram reconfiguradas em cards para se adaptar às exigências das redes sociais. / [en] This dissertation aims to discuss how print journalism outlets are being compelled to change news publication formats to conform to the standards imposed by communication giants such as Alphabet and Meta. The study explores how this process fits into a timeline of constant adaptations of journalistic graphic material aimed at increasing copy sales. We draw on concepts from the Political Economy of Communication, including those by Bolaño, Zuboff, and Harvey, to contextualize the role that Google and Instagram s parent companies play in disrupting the journalism business model. We compare the Instagram profiles of Revista Trip and the G1 portal, focusing on carousel-format posts from January to June 2023. We propose subdividing the samples into five distinct categories based on their narrative specificities. We observed that the layout conventions of print magazines and newspapers have been reconfigured into cards to adapt to the demands of social media.

本研究旨在如何透過創新的營銷模式,如電子醫藥行銷及電子醫藥平台,來解決跨國製藥廠在台灣面臨的困境。本研究以個案公司為研究對象,透過傳統策略規劃流程來做策略分析、策略擬定及策略執行。策略分析主要在分析內外部環境,外部環境,先透過五力分析來確認製藥產業的吸引力及哪一項競爭力是跨國製藥廠最需重視的,接著討論醫業環境的演變及對傳統營銷模式的衝擊。內部分析,主要針對個案公司做情勢分析,透過個案公司的組織目標、BCG矩陣分析模型、核心競爭力、品牌權益市場調查、高涉入購買決策過程分析、SWOT分析、商業模式和4C(四種交換成本)處分析來判斷情勢。從分析的結果來確認主要問題及機會,然後根據主要問題及機會來擬定相對策略,最後分析執行行動方案的成效來驗證策略的正確性。 / This study explores how the innovative marketing and sales model (such as eDetailing and Physician Digital Platform) can help to overcome the obstacles that international pharmaceutical company has been facing in Taiwan. This research is a case study for an international pharmaceutical company. The study is mainly focused on Taiwan’s pharma division. They study is structured in 3 major sections – strategy analysis, strategy defining and strategy execution. For the analysis, it focuses on analyzing external and internal environment. For the external environment, first apply the 5-force theory to identify the attractiveness of the industry and which competitive forces should be focused on. Then it discusses the evolution of the pharmaceutical industry in Taiwan and how it impacts the traditional sales model. The internal analysis focuses on the case study of the company. Use tools and models such as BCG Matrix, core competency, brand equity market research, buying process, SWOT, business model and 4 Costs model to analyze the studied company’s situation. Through the analysis, identify the key problem and opportunity and make corresponding strategies. At the final section, validate the strategy’s effectiveness through analyzing the execution of the innovative marketing and sales model initiatives.

This report shows a qualitative study on how six young adults in the ages between 20-30 who are students at Linnaeus University in Kalmar percieve their news consumption habits and their use of news media on digital platforms. The aim of the study is to examine whether the six students feel the strogest connection with the press where they were raised or where they currently live, why they choose to use the media platforms they do and what meaning the use of the media bare to the students. We have seen a lack of information concerning why young people choose to consume news online instead of in printed media. The study is focused on theories concerning what affects people in their choice of media platforms and channels. This report shows that geographic nature, the quality of the content and which political ideology the daily press is founded on does not affect the respondents choice of media. Our study shows that the most important factor for the respondents is that the platform is easily accesssible and flexible. We can also see that the dissapering of the printed newspaper is connected to generations and techonology.

La pandemia de la Covid-19 ha afectado a la economía del Perú durante el año 2020, siendo el sector turismo uno de ellos. Las entidades encargadas como MINCETUR y Prom Perú han elaborado un plan de acción dentro del cual se centran principalmente en la reactivación del turismo interno, mediante estrategias de campañas expuestas en medios de comunicación y las principales plataformas digitales de la marca Y tú qué planes. Luego de un análisis realizado a dichas plataformas, se identifcó que el aplicativo móvil Y tú qué planes - Rutas cortas, presenta defciencias a nivel de experiencia de usuario, además de carecer de recursos visuales que componen la identidad de la marca. En este sentido el presente trabajo de investigación hace uso de la metodología del Diseño centrado en el usuario el cual se enfoca en identifcar las necesidades del público al que se dirige el producto, en este caso la app. Finalmente como solución a la problemática se planteó la reestructuración de la plataforma con el objetivo de optimizar y mejorar la interacción del usuario con la plataforma, entregándoles un producto confable y de calidad lo que ayudará a fortalecer su relación con la marca / The pandemic of Covid-19 has affected Peru’s economy during the year 2020, being the tourism sector one of them. En el último año, se ha apreciado innumerables problemas en varios países, mayormente, en los sectores económicos, políticos y sanitarios. El primero de estos ha sufrido muchos cambios debido al COVID-19 y sus variantes, lo que ha desencadenado que millones de empresas o emprendimientos tengan que parar o suspender sus operaciones, en otros casos han tomado la opción de adaptarse a esta ¨nueva normalidad¨. El efecto de esto ha sido el incremento del e-commerce en diferentes rubros del mercado, minimizando el comercio tradicional y generando un aumento en las interacciones de los negocios dentro de las redes sociales.  Qaturi Club es el nombre del proyecto que tiene como idea de negocio la suscripción y comercialización de productos saludables por medio de la implementación de una plataforma digital que permita crear una comunidad enérgica con el fin de reconstruir un mejor futuro en base a la alimentación saludable. Además, esta iniciativa trata de dar una solución sostenible centrada en cuidar la salud de las personas a través de la promoción de un estilo de vida sano. Otra característica especial de Qaturi es que cuenta con una variedad de productos para usuarios con distintas restricciones como preferencias veganas, vegetarianas, cero lácteos, cero gluten o clásicos, que normalmente no encuentran productos de su gusto en mercados, supermercados o tiendas online; ya sea por el precio, calidad del artículo o simplemente porque no existen muchas empresas que se dirijan a esos segmentos de la población.    Por otra parte, la globalización ha llegado a tantos lugares que el mundo empresarial es muy competitivo, específicamente, la industria tecnológica que se va potenciando cada día para tener alguna ventaja. On the other hand, globalization has reached so many places that the business world is very competitive, specifically, the technology industry that is getting stronger every day to have an advantage. TechnillionJobs is a solution consists of a digital web application, mobile App and a start-up. The solution is intended for helping unemployed Iraqi graduates & students at the final stages of their university studies network with employers locally and internationally. TechnillionJobs can give a bigger opportunity to easier find jobs/build a professional career, and therefore can be a contributing solution in reducing unemployment among graduates in Iraq. The purpose of the project is mainly to investigate and identify the reasons behind unemployment amongst Iraqi graduates as well as present a solution to reduce this problem and its negative effects. Also, to explore potential target groups, their needs and requirements for the product. The primary target groups were categorized as unemployed Iraqi graduates who can provide their knowledge and skills online, innovative companies who put a huge emphasis on their R&D department and educational companies that provide online courses & lesson plans. Primarily, the project group wanted to develop a concept that would respond to the problem statement by “only” launching a web application which in later development phases expanded to even a mobile App and start-up to provide real time services and offer On-demand Contracts (Explained in The Final Product section of this report) as well. In order to do a solid research in the problem area and come up with possible solutions and perform analysis, different scientific frameworks, methodologies and project tools such as Design Thinking, Agile methodology, Gantt-chart, Surveys and mini-risk calculation were used to make sure that the project execution follows a scientific structure. An overall timeline from the start of the project to the end is presented as well. The group has carried out this project in an iterative way where the user has always been in focus during a long dynamic development process. The opportunities for further development are many and, in the future, the product will be a more complete tool for connecting graduates with employers. Future business plans and goals are clarified in the Discussion section of this report. / TechnillionJobs är en lösning som består av en digital webbapplikation, mobil App och ett start-up. Lösningen hjälper arbetslösa irakiska akademiker och studenter i slutskedet av sina universitets-/högskolestudier knyta kontakter med arbetsgivare lokalt och internationellt. Detta kan ge en större möjlighet till att enklare hitta jobb/ bygga en yrkeskarriär, och kan därför vara en bidragande lösning för att minska arbetslösheten bland akademiker i Irak.  Syftet med projektet är främst att undersöka och identifiera orsakerna bakom arbetslöshet bland irakiska akademiker samt att presentera en lösning för att minska detta problem och dess negativa effekter. Också, att utforska potentiella målgrupper, deras behov och krav på produkten. De primära målgrupperna kategoriserades som arbetslösa irakiska akademiker som kan förse med sina kunskaper och färdigheter online, innovativa företag som lägger stor vikt på sina FoU-avdelningar och utbildningsföretag som tillhandahåller onlinekurser och lektionsplaner. Projektgruppen ville främst utveckla ett koncept som skulle svara på problemformuleringen genom att "endast" bygga en webbapplikation som i senare utvecklingsfaser utvidgades till även en mobil App och ett start-up för att tillhandahålla tjänster i realtid och erbjuda On-demand kontrakt (förklaras under rubriken The Final Product i denna rapport).  För att göra en gedigen forskning inom problemområdet och komma på möjliga lösningar och utföra analyser, användes olika vetenskapliga metoder och projektverktyg som Design Thinking, Agil produktutveckling, Gantt-schema, enkäter och mini-risk-beräkning för att se till att projekt genomförandet följer en vetenskaplig struktur. En övergripande tidslinje från projektets början till slutet presenteras också. Gruppen har genomfört detta projekt på ett iterativt sätt där användaren alltid har varit i fokus under en lång dynamisk utvecklingsprocess. Möjligheterna för vidareutveckling är många och i framtiden tänkas produkten att bli ett mer komplett verktyg för att länka akademiker med arbetsgivare.
