Specifically, the influence of the Innovation, the Business Network, the Technical Network, the Business Context as well as the Acquisition of Technology were analyzed. The proposed methodology was based on a quantitative research, through the application of a Survey along with the suppliers of the automotive industry. The statistical technique of Multiple Linear Regression model was used for data analysis by having the COEs as the dependent variable. Based on 91 questionnaires answered, the results conclude that the activities related to innovation, as well as the Acquisition of Technology and the Business Context contribute to the formation of COEs, rejecting the hypothesis related to the Technical Network and the Business Context in which the companies are inserted in. / O objetivo deste trabalho é verificar quais fatores influenciam a formação de Centros de Excelência na indústria automobilística brasileira. Especificamente, verificou-se a influência da Inovação, da Rede de Negócios, da Rede Técnica, do Contexto de Negócios bem como da Aquisição de Tecnologia. A metodologia proposta teve como base o método de pesquisa quantitativo, do tipo Survey, com aplicação junto aos fornecedores da indústria automobilística. Utilizou-se a técnica estatística de Regressão Linear Múltipla para a análise de dados, tendo os Centros de Excelência (COEs) como variável dependente. Com 91 questionários respondidos, o estudo conclui que as atividades ligadas à Inovação, à Aquisição de Tecnologia e à Rede de Negócios contribuem para a formação de COEs, rejeitando-se as hipóteses ligadas à Rede Técnica e ao Contexto de Negócios em que as subsidiárias estão inseridas.

Neste sentido, o Programa de Monitoria torna-se uma atividade relevante para a aprendizagem significativa uma vez que possibilita a construção do conhecimento com contribuições para a formação pessoal e profissional do aluno. Esta pesquisa é um estudo de caso sobre o Programa de Monitoria do CEFET/RJ e tem o objetivo de analisá-lo assim como propor melhorias ao mesmo. Para o alcance de tal objetivo foi aplicado um questionário semiestruturado aos monitores do curso de Engenharia de Produção assim como foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com os docentes do respectivo curso e com a gestão do programa. Os principais resultados indicam que, apesar de a monitoria ser reconhecida como uma importante atividade complementar ao ensino de excelência, o programa possui fragilidades que interferem diretamente na sua qualidade, o que exige da instituição intervenções práticas para o aperfeiçoamento do mesmo. Espera-se como contribuições desta pesquisa que ações estratégicas possam ser aplicadas para o aprimoramento do programa de monitoria do CEFET/RJ. / Faced with a conception of holistic education, higher education is not limited to the production of scientific knowledge, it is also committed to training of citizens in its various dimensions. In this sense, the monitoring program becomes an important activity for meaningful learning as it allows the construction of knowledge with contributions for personal and professional development of the student. This research is a case study on the Monitoring Program of CEFET/RJ and aims to analyze it and to propose improvements to it. In order to achieve this goal it was applied a semi-structured questionnaire to the Production Engineering course monitors as well as semi-structured interviews were conducted with the respective course teachers and program management. The main results indicate that, although monitoring is recognized as an important complementary activity to teaching excellence, the program has weaknesses that interfere directly in its quality, which requires the institution practical actions to improve the same. It is hoped this research as a contribution to strategic actions can be applied to the improvement of the CEFET/RJ monitoring program.

Atualmente, os critérios de excelência dos serviços educacionais têm foco multifuncional, buscando resultados em várias dimensões. Neste sentido, o objetivo da dissertação consiste em apresentar uma proposta metodológica que permita subsidiar as decisões no processo de avaliação de desempenho em uma instituição de ensino técnico, por meio da aplicação da técnica de similaridade com solução ideal (na língua inglesa, Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution - TOPSIS). Como opção metodológica, foi desenvolvida uma pesquisa exploratória para levantamento de dados primários, seguida de aplicação da sistemática proposta e respectiva análise dos resultados obtidos. Como principal produto foi gerado um diagnóstico, por cada dimensão proposta, bem como foi possível à obtenção de um indicador global (SCORE TOPSIS) que contribuiu com um instrumento de análise comparativa do desempenho de 39 unidades operativas de uma instituição de ensino ofertante de cursos técnicos de nível médio profissionalizante. / Excellence programs used to evaluate vocational technical education institutions, today no longer seek only the efficiency of management for educational purposes. Currently, the criteria of excellence of educational services have multi-functional focus, seeking results in various dimensions. In this sense, the purpose of this work is to present a methodology that allows support the decisions in the performance evaluation process in a technical education institution by applying Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution - TOPSIS. As a methodological option, an exploratory research was developed for primary data collection, followed by application of systematic proposal and its analysis of the results. As the main product has generated a diagnosis for each dimension proposal, and it was possible to obtain a global indicator (SCORE TOPSIS) which contributed a benchmarking instrument performance of 39 operating units of an educational institution offerer technical courses vocational high school.

Le Trésor et ses mondes (1966-1995) : contribution à une sociologie relationnelle de l'État / The Treasury and its worlds (1966-1995) : towards a relational sociology of the state

Entre histoire du capitalisme, sociologie des élites et sociologie de l’État, cette thèse prend pour objet le rôle de la direction du Trésor – direction phare du ministère des Finances – dans la fabrique de « mondes » à la fois hybrides et intégrés d’institutions, de réseaux et d’acteurs, aux sommets du pouvoir et au croisement entre État et affaires, administration et économie, public et privé. A partir d’une enquête mêlant entretiens biographiques, base prosopographique et fonds d’archives publics et privés, elle explore les mécanismes concrets par lesquels la direction du Trésor produit du flou, du flux et de la hiérarchie au sein de ses mondes, dans une configuration historique précise (milieu des années 1960- milieu des années 1990). La thèse est organisée selon trois niveaux d’analyse des relations entre le Trésor et ses mondes. Au niveau écologique – celui des alliances – elle montre la transformation des coalitions de soutien du Trésor pour peser dans l’État, du Plan à la « place », organisant les modalités du ralliement de la direction aux réformes libérales à partir des années 1960. Au niveau institutionnel, elle analyse les échanges qui forgent la porosité entre le Trésor et ses mondes, et les contraintes institutionnelles qui leur donnent sens et forme, et montre que la direction du Trésor fonctionne alors comme une entreprise de placement. Au niveau individuel, elle analyse la construction des carrières dominantes (de la « grandeur ») au sein des mondes du Trésor, et les liens d’obligation, de cooptation et de parrainage sur lesquelles elles s’appuient. La thèse contribue, ainsi, à documenter les formes d’indifférenciation des activités qui caractérisent les sommets de l’État. / Between history of capitalism, sociology of elites and public administration, this PhD thesis explores how the French Treasury Department brings together gravitating financial institutions, networks and actors into integrated and hybrid "worlds", situated at the "heights of power" and between administration and business, public and private interests. Drawing on biographical interviews, prosopographical data and public and private archival collections, it focuses on the concrete mechanisms through which the Treasury both blurs boundaries inside its worlds, and re-create hierarchies between the agents who circulate within them. The thesis analyzes the relationships between the Treasury and its worlds at three distinct levels. At the ecological level — that of the Treasury alliances in policy-making — it highlights the Treasury’ changing coalitions of support, from the Great planning coalition of the 1950s to the "place financière" of the 1970s, and shows how this transformation helps us account for the Treasury’ embrace of financial reforms in the 1970s. At the institutional level, it analyzes how various organizational constraints at the Treasury shape exchanges between the Department and its worlds. Finally, at the individual level, it looks at the construction of dominant careers ("grandeur") inside the worlds of the Treasury, and at the interpersonal ties and decentralized logics of co-optation, patronage and moral indebtedness they draw on.

Striving for Business Excellence in Belarus : Tendencies of Quality Management in IT Industry

<p>Nonetheless IT sector is considered as highly competitive Belarus is listed in the top five, while also be-ing in the transitional stage. Thus, this thesis examined the tendencies of the quality management in Bel-arus IT industry. TQM, commonly used control system – ISO, and Business Excellence Models – Mal-colm Baldrige National Quality Award (MNBQA) and European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) were used as the basis for our research. The main premise for the research is that it is not nec-essary to excel in all concepts of TQM, where ISO was used as the primary step towards total quality.</p><p>Hence it was deduced that quality in the collected sample differs among the concepts. Even though the main concept of customer satisfaction is acknowledged, the human factor is still undervalued. This might also be the flaw hinged by ISO. The Strategic Plan of a Medium-Size Enterprise Compared to the Baldrige Criteria

The purpose of this study was to provide a case example of one SME (small to medium-size enterprises) documented practices compared to the Baldrige Program’s Criteria for Performance Excellence (Criteria). This study evaluated the degree to which the case example organization practiced the philosophies and principles of the Criteria without direct knowledge of the Criteria. The researcher conducted evaluations by examining the case example organization’s strategic plan against the Criteria. Results of this study’s demonstrated that the Baldrige Program would not be a change in direction for the case example organization but a systematic approach to enhance the methods already deployed by the case example organization. Evaluations identified items on both documents that could be relatable to items contained on the opposing document. This study also identified the actual number of requirement items contained within the Criteria, in order to provide a better understanding of the current Criteria’s level of complexity.

Tyrimo objektas – veiklos vertinimas taikant kokybės vadybos metodus. Darbo tikslas – įvertinti BĮ „Jonavos rajono savivaldybės kūno kultūros ir sporto centras“ vykdomą veiklą bei jos gerinimo galimybes taikant kokybės vadybos metodus. Darbo uždaviniai: 1. Išanalizuoti EFQM verslo tobulumo ir Malcolmo Baldrige‘o modelius. 2. Atskleisti EFQM tobulumo ir Malcolmo Baldrige‘o modelių pritaikomumo galimybes organizacijoje. 3. Įvertinti BĮ „Jonavos rajono savivaldybės kūno kultūros ir sporto centras“ organizacijos veiklą panaudojant kokybės vadybos metodus. Išvados: 1. Išanalizavus EFQM ir Malcolmo Baldrige‘o modelius, remiantis skirtingų autorių vertinimu, galim teigti, kad tai yra modeliai, kuriuose geriausiai praktiškai pritaikyti visuotinės kokybės vadybos principai. Organizacijos, naudodamos šiuo modelius gali įvertinti savo veiklą ir nustatyti gerinimo galimybes. Šie modeliai gali būti traktuojami kaip visuotinės kokybės vadybos principų pritaikymo instrukcija, todėl labai svarbu gerai juos žinoti ir sugebėti pritaikyti kasdieninėje įmonės veikloje. 2. Palyginus EFQM ir Malcolmo Baldrige‘o modelius gauti rezultatai parodė, kad išsamesniam organizacijos veiklos vertinimui tikslingiau naudoti EFQM tobulumo modelį. 3. Recherche et développement dans les sciences de l’environnement : l’Université entre impératifs scientifico-techniques, économiques et socio-politiques. Le cas du Réseau de centres d’excellence ArcticNet.

Cette thèse cible l’étude d’une organisation sociotechnique pluraliste, le Réseau de centres d’excellence ArcticNet, établi depuis 2003 au sein de l’Université Laval et financé par le programme fédéral des Réseaux de centres d’excellence (RCE). Ce programme, effectif depuis 1988, est issu d’une initiative du ministère de l’Industrie Canada et des trois Conseils fédéraux de financement de la recherche scientifique (CRSNG, CRSH et IRSC). Par sa dimension interdisciplinaire et interinstitutionnelle, le RCE ArcticNet sollicite la mise en place de divers accommodements sur une thématique environnementale controversée, celle du développement de l’Arctique canadien côtier. Notre approche se concentre sur la description de ces collaborations pluralistes et l’analyse des stratégies de consensus mises en place par une organisation universitaire médiatrice. Si cette étude illustre le cas d’ArcticNet, elle questionne toutefois deux réalités d’ensemble: (1) D’un point de vue théorique, prépondérant dans cette thèse, les enjeux environnementaux et de développement durable s’inscrivent dans les nouvelles réalités de la production des connaissances portées par une coévolution entre science et société, contribuant à l’expansion des domaines de R&D ciblés; et, (2) D’un point de vue empirique illustratif, les éléments de formation et d’évolution d’un réseau sociotechnique intersectoriel et les stratégies des scientifiques dans la recherche et le développement de l’Arctique canadien côtier présentent un profil basé sur l’accommodement des parties prenantes. Barnmorskans roll i sex- och samlevnadsundervisningen i grundskolan : En kvalitativ intervjustudie / The role of midwife in public health work with sexual education in elementary school

Background: Today, most of the sex education takes place in school. Studies shows shortcomings in this education and that students experience shortage of the knowledge wanted regarding this subject. Research has also shown that young people prefer to accomplish sex education with someone who feels comfortable and has good knowledge of the subject. The main subject of midwifery is sexual and reproductive health and rights. However, there is a limited amount of studies conducted regarding midwives involvement in sex education in schools. Purpose: The aim of this study was to highlight the role of the midwife in health-promoting public health work with sex education for adolescents in school. Method: Semi-structured telephone interviews were conducted with four teachers who taught sex education at high school and five midwives with experience of sex education. The collected material was analyzed according to Malterud's systematic text condensation. Result: The result showed that the midwife's health promotion work in school was conducted in a few different ways. Partly through lectures and partly by students visiting the youth health center (ungdomsmottagning). The way in which the work was done was due partly to the school's demand and partly to the availability of the midwife. The average time that the midwife was teaching students were between 30-120 minutes, which were distributed on one and the same occasion. The midwife's role in school was described as being proficient, competent and comfortable talking about sex. The fact that the midwife was unacquainted meant that the students felt comfortable and it was easier to ask questions about sensitive subjects. Conclusion: The conclusion of the study is that there is a need for midwifery skills at school and that, in spite of this, there is no clear and obvious role of the midwife in school education. Clinical applicability: This study can be used to support the midwife's work in sexual education in school. The study can also be used as a basis for establishing cooperation between midwife and school. / Bakgrund: Idag sker den övervägande delen av sex- och samlevnadsundervisningen i skolan och undersökningar visar på brister i denna undervisning samt att elever inte upplever sig få de kunskaper de önskar inom ämnet från skolan. Forskning har också visat att ungdomar föredrar att prata om sex och samlevnad med någon som känner sig bekväm och besitter goda kunskaper i ämnet. Barnmorskans huvudämne är sexuell och reproduktiv hälsa och rättigheter. Det finns dock begränsat med studier gjorda på hur barnmorskan involveras i skolans sex- och samlevnadsundervisning. Syfte: Syftet med den här studien var att belysa barnmorskans roll i det hälsofrämjande folkhälsoarbetet med sex och samlevnadsundervisning för ungdomar i skolan. Metod: Semistrukturerade telefonintervjuer gjordes med fyra lärare som undervisade i sex och samlevnad på högstadiet och fem barnmorskor med erfarenhet av sex och samlevnadsundervisning. Det insamlade materialet analyserades enligt Malteruds systematiska textkondensering. Resultat: Resultatet visade att barnmorskans hälsofrämjande arbete i skolan genomfördes på lite olika sätt. Dels genom föreläsningar och dels genom att elever kom på besök till ungdomsmottagningen. Hur arbetet var upplagt berodde dels på skolans efterfrågan och dels på hur tillgången till barnmorskan såg ut. Tiden som barnmorskan lade på att undervisa elever var i genomsnitt mellan 30-120 minuter som låg fördelat på ett och samma tillfälle. Barnmorskan beskrevs som kunnig och hade spetskompetens inom sitt område samt kände sig bekväm att prata om sex och samlevnad. Att barnmorskan var utomstående gjorde att eleverna också kände sig bekväma och hade lättare att ställa frågor angående känsliga ämnen. Slutsats: Slutsatsen av studien är att det finns ett behov av barnmorskans kompetens i skolan men att det inte finns någon tydlig och självklar roll för barnmorskan i skolans sexualundervisning. Klinisk tillämpbarhet: Denna studie kan användas som stöd för att främja barnmorskans insatser i skolans sex- och samlevnadsundervisning. Studien kan också användas som underlag vid upprättande av samarbetsformer mellan barnmorska och skola.
