Die Schrift stellt das theoretische Konzept akademischer Kulturen dar und diskutiert anhand empirischer Forschungsdaten seine verschiedenen Dimensionen. Im Zentrum der Aufmerksamkeit stehen Prozesse der interkulturellen Kommunikation in akademischen Lehr- und Lernsettings.

In musical environments, the human voice is entangled in a number of structural, conceptual and cultural frameworks that enable it to convey a multiplicity of meanings. In the discussion of musical globalisation, vocal music takes a particularly important role, since this versatility allows for both cultural rapprochement or hybridity as well as the reinforcement of local, regional, and national identities. This article introduces a first approach to an analytical framework for an intercultural history and analytical methodology of vocal music based on comparative studies of both traditional and contemporary works and genres and their construction of musical meaning. The articulation of the voice, conceived here as a multifarious passage between speech and song, is discussed in three major sections: »mapping«, »fragmentation and montage«, and »aesthetics of presence«. First, the plausibility and limitations of classification systems for spoken/ sung vocal styles (as developed by George List and Kenji Hirano, among others) and their application as tools for a comparison of culturally and historically diverse »voices« are examined. A closer analysis of the vocal style gidayū-bushi reveals a highly »fragmented« vocal microstructure based on a minute theoretical conception of delivery techniques, held together by the unique timbre of the recitor. Connections between Chinese jingju (Peking Opera) and Tan Dun’s »vocal calligraphy« as well as the controversial discussions on the vocal part in Schoenberg’s Pierrot Lunaire are reviewed to imply that these vocal styles, too, can be conceived of as multiply fragmented, as microstructural »montages« that (intentionally or not) place much responsibility on the agency of the vocal performer. A comparable influence of the performer can be observed in recent Japanese vocal music that evokes the archaic power of single words or phonems (Hifumi Shimoyama, Y şji Takahashi). The high degree of articulatory differentiation closely connected to unique features of the Japanese language (including specific regional forms) found in these works is finally connected to the theory of recitative around 1600 based on a similar conception of the Italian language (Jacopo Peri, Giulio Caccini) and to its reception in Salvatore Sciarrino’s unique form of vocal writing that the composer has termed »sillabazione scivolata« [gliding syllable articulation]. These diverse case studies suggest that intercultural history and analysis of vocal music must take into account the major role of the vocal performer and its complex interaction with musical texts and aural traditions in both contemporary and traditional contexts. It can be further argued that vocal music generally tends to represent Roland Barthes’ concept of »genosong«, a kind of singing that originates from the »materiality of language«. A comprehensive theory of vocal music, finally, can neither be reduced to the discussion of its encoding by notation, nor to its performative act, but rather has to consider cultural memory and reception processes as key contexts of a cultural »codification« that produces meaning. Such a broad perspective has to consider prominently intercultural passages such as those introduced in this essay.

Le volume est le fruit du colloque international Translatio : Transmédialité et Transculturalité qui a eu lieu au Centre de Recherches Ibéro-Américaines et Francophones de l’Université de Leipzig du 29 juin au 3 juillet 2011, avec l’objectif de promouvoir le dialogue transdisciplinaire et transculturel concernant le nouveau domaine de recherches sur la traduction culturelle, la translatio, et sur les stratégies médiales, comme celles de la "transmédialité", et de soumettre en même temps des théories et des champs de recherche actuels et centraux à un examen scientifique critique. La "transdisciplinarité", la "transmédialité" et la "transculturalité", représentent toute sorte de processus de translation et ont pris une place importante dans le colloque, avec l’intention d’apporter une contribution à la formation de la théorie, ou plutôt de la métathéorie, afin de s’opposer à certaines tendances arbitraires et ludiques de l’interprète dans ce domaine.

Unternehmen stehen vor der Herausforderung, effizient und kostengünstig zu produzieren. In diesem Zusammenhang kommt dem Industrial Engineering (IE) eine hohe Bedeutung zu, denn es besitzt das Potenzial zum ganzheitlichen Produktivitätsmanagement über den gesamten Produktentstehungs- und herstellungsrozess sowie alle Unternehmensbereiche. Dieses Potenzial wird zwar mittlerweile von einer Vielzahl von Unternehmen erkannt, jedoch kaum genutzt, was insbesondere in einem fehlenden Konzept für das ganzheitliche Industrial Engineering im Unternehmen begründet liegt. Daher wird ein fundamentales „Reengineering“ des Industrial Engineerings notwendig, das im Kontext des Zusammenwirkens von Mensch, Technik und Organisation, den Mitarbeiter in den Fokus seiner Aktivitäten rückt. Im Rahmen der vorliegenden Arbeit wird deswegen erstmals eine Gestaltungssystematik für das Industrial Engineering vorgestellt. Diese gibt Hilfestellung für die Implementierung des Industrial Engineerings im Unternehmen und speziell an ausländischen Standorten, um durch eine geeignete Gestaltung der Aufbauorganisation dessen adäquate Einbindung im Unternehmen sicherzustellen. Zudem liefert die Gestaltungssystematik wertvolle Hinweise sowohl für die Personalauswahl als auch den Personaleinsatz im IE. Industrial Engineering is playing a key role in planning and optimizing work systems and processes in ergonomic as well as economical terms to improve enterprise's productivity. Currently there is no common understanding of IE, of its specific functions as well as its organizational fixture in enterprise's praxis. Because of this lack between research and practice, enterprises waste the potential of IE for the increase in productivity. To overcome the problem of a missing holistic approach for the continuous productivity management, a systematic approach for the full potential utilization of IE will be introduced. This firstly facilitates the institutional configuration of a human-oriented IE in enterprises of the manufacturing and the service sector and secondly helps to realize measures of work design as well as work rationalization by means of a strong change management. Thus, the developed design approach systematically contains dimensions and parameters for the implementation of an overall Industrial Engineering enabling to unleash productivity potentials by considering the technology as well as the human factor and organizational conditions. Furthermore, for the first time the intercultural differences influencing the Industrial Engineering on the functional, structural and personnel level are explicitly considered in the novel approach. El problema a tratar o la reflexión sobre una redefinición o reestructuración de la ciencia literaria (crítica académica literaria, estudios literarios, CL) y estudios culturales (EC) es un fenómeno global obvio cuando, por ejemplo, en la propuesta para este volumen de reflexiones conjuntas, se pregunta "¿cómo reaccionar frente a la disminución de estudiantes subgraduados y graduados de literatura y al incremento de los abocados a los estudios culturales?" Esta pregunta revela un fenómeno que se está dando masivamente en todos aquellos países en cuyas universidades se han introducido los estudios culturales, así en Alemania, así en el Instituto de Romanística y en el Centro de Investigación Iberoamericana de la Universidad de Leipzig.

Je commencerai par la question de savoir s’il est oui ou non souhaitable, nécessaire ou même possible d’élaborer une théorie unifiée d’intermédialité ou de transmédialité. J’aimerais pour l’instant laisser cette question en suspens et rappeler que nous avons assisté à des tentatives remarquables ces dernières années, ou du moins depuis les années 1980. Passer en revue les publications les plus réussies des vingt dernières années nous montre, qu’à cause des interrelations complexes et du chevauchement d’une grande variété et diversité de stratégies médiatiques et de formes de production, la tentative voulant présenter de façon claire les différenciations et les fonctions des relations intermédiales et transmédiales, a conduit dans certains cas à des définitions similaires, certains termes ayant des constituants similaires voire même identiques. Ces tentatives incluent tous types de définitions d’intermédialité et de transmédialité (ou dans une certaine mesure des termes comme "références aux médias" ("Medienbezüge"), "combinaison de médias" ("Medienkombination") et "changement de médias" ("Medienwechsel") (Rajewsky 2002 : 18 sqq.) ou le mélange de termes issus de la critique littéraire, comme l''intertextualité ou la "dialoguicité" avec des termes de la théorie médiatique.

Einwanderung und Einflüsse verschiedener Kulturen gibt es in Sachsen seit Jahrhunderten. Ohne sie stünde Sachsen heute wirtschaftlich und kulturell um einiges ärmer da. In den Jahren 2014 und 2015 kamen wieder mehr Menschen zu uns – Sachsen wurde vielfältiger und bunter. Vor diesem Hintergrund nehmen auch interkulturelle Aktivitäten im Kunst- und Kulturbereich zu. Für die Fraktion BÜNDNIS 90/DIE GRÜNEN im Sächsischen Landtag ist es die Aufgabe der Staatsregierung, neue gesellschaftliche Realitäten anzuerkennen sowie Potenziale interkultureller Kulturarbeit wahrzunehmen und entsprechend zu fördern.
