This paper analyzes the influence of culture on the Evangelical Christian practice in the context of the city of Laguna. The first chapter deals with culture in its various facets. It reveals the difficulty in defining the term and establishes a dialog with theoreticians so as to find a path to better understand and study culture. Faced with many possibilities of definition, the thought of Rubem Alves was adopted which defines culture as an object of desire of something which the human being had in some other time but lost and now has become an object of desire. Culture seeks to fill this lack of this object of desire, to fulfill the absence, however it is incapable of doing it. This is where religion comes in that which culture cannot do, religion intends to do. That is why religion is treated in this chapter as the epitome of culture. This chapter ends showing how religion shapes the cosmovision and culture of a people and sustains customs and values. The second chapter presents a panorama of the ethnic, cultural and religious composition of Laguna. From the beginning there was a people here with its culture and religion. But then, the Portuguese and Azorean colonizers arrived, the immigrants, the adventurers and the slaves. And there was a fusion which produced a new cultural and religious configuration. The third and last chapter deals with the complex relation of culture with the Gospel: the main religious manifestations of the city and their relation with culture and with the Gospel, the tension with enculturation, the divergent and convergent points between culture and the Gospel. It ends suggesting that, since the Gospel is transcendent, in the process of enculturation, it should exercise its supremacy as judge of the culture. Otherwise, one runs the risk of losing both.

The Christian eschatological tradition finds its roots in ancient judeo-helenist conceptions of prophetic perspectives. The notion of the final day as the judgment of God on the life of the inhabited world is one of the characteristics of this religious conception, with the Christian faith being markedly influenced by this biblical theological point of view, considering the history of inclusivity present in the organization of the communities of primitive Christianity, albeit the presence of intermittent periods of identitarian exclusivisms occurring throughout the history of the Christian Church.
It is within this understanding that this Final Paper of the Professional Masters Program seeks to analyze the Petrine discourse of Acts 2.14-21, which establishes its textuality within an intertextuality that is present in the linguistic context of the apostles contemporary world, trying to identify the relevant sources of support for a theological actualization which takes into account the inclusivist elements present in the Joeline prophetic tradition and in the community practices.
The work is structured in three chapters. The first deals with the concept of intertextuality, its origin, its main defenders, the different aspects and levels of intertextuality and its use in the field of theology. In the second chapter, an analysis is made of the texts of Joel and the Acts of the Apostles, based on the interlinear translation of the text from the original language to our vernacular language, its historical contextualization and dealing with key terms and themes. Finally, the marks of intertextuality will be visualized in both texts and the importance of the pouring of the Spirit and the empowerment phenomenon and its importance for an inclusive church will be dealt with.

Feminist reading: hermeneutics of womans resistance starting from home
approaches the gender relations in a social, religious, familiar, political and economic
context, analyzing womans function and the resistance process built from her home.
The interpretations of the sacred text point to a womans release from a patriarchal
system, in which the man withholds all power on his children, his wife and his
property. So, Jesus inaugurates a new time and he makes it from his teachings which
occur in homes.

We live in times of change in man's relationship with the Gospel. This study aims to show some distortions that have proliferated in the media called evangelicals, shown for both, some of the elements that have worked together to gradually emptying and homiletic preaching from the pulpits. In this sense, the Pentecostal Movement is marked by the absence of doctrinal or hermeneutical characteristics, which are influenced by unfair foreign to the Word of God. You cant say that the blame for the failure of homilies from the pulpit is only given to Neopentecostais, however, they possess a reductionist view of God, that limit to three areas: financial prosperity, health and personal achievements, so we prioritize the search for human pleasure, a flattening of earthly achievements. In this context, however, there are still examples of individuals who continue giving up everything to devote his life to the Lord and the Gospel, of which mostly are anonymous. These are maintaining the integrity and fairness of the Gospel through the ages. It follows, then, that the Gospel does not wither away as people imbued with the true mission to continue giving their lives for the sake of souls who have not bowed or even heard of the true Christ.

As várias correntes religiosas,
constatação do sofrimento humano.
problema do mal e do sofrimento. Além disso, contextualizar o mal e o sofrimento no plano
a Bíblia.
Algumas dessas
cosmovisões têm assumido destaque no discurso teológico quando a questão do sofrimento é
abordada.
Human suffering has permeated and challenged the theology and related sciences in an
attempt to present a rational understanding of the problem of evil. The various religious
denominations, theological and philosophical object are considered in this study in an
attempt to condense a theoretical framework in the light of Scripture, is able to minimize the
conflicts that arise from the challenge of reconciling the concept of a loving God with the
unequivocal finding of human suffering. From a premise endorsed by the historic and
Reformed theology that God makes all things happen in the world and in people's lives, this
study aims to elucidate the question of evil and suffering, as well as presenting the potential
benefits that suffering can provide the individual. Seeks to present a biblical argument that
can contribute to respond to the problem of evil and suffering. Moreover, contextualizing the
evil and suffering in God's plan. The various religious and philosophical attempts to give a
plausible answer to the problem of suffering eventually create insurmountable barriers when
faced with the Bible. Worldviews misconceptions about God are strong resistance in the Bible
and contradict concepts solidified throughout the history of the church. Some of these
worldviews have assumed prominence in theological discourse when the question of suffering
is addressed. Although the more conservative discourse that sin is the cause of suffering he
does not explain all forms of suffering, nor the Bible accepts sin as one reason for suffering.
Can not see the suffering without regard for the ordeal. It is not intended to open space in this
research to compare the different lines on the theological understanding of God's plan, but to
present an understanding of how suffering fits into God's eternal plan.

É no
parcial continuidade com o AT.
A abordagem é feita,
A home is not only a family shelter, but also the "space for socialization and sociability; for
religiosity; for health care; for food reproduction". It is in the home environment "that the
first human feelings such as intimacy, cooperation, habitus reproduction and family habits are
developed, built and socialized". In the New Testament, the home represents a feeling that
goes beyond a house or family reference, being filled up with historical and socio-economic
associations, in partial continuity with the Old Testament. This paper tries to understand the
function of the home and its importance for the structuring of the Christian mission as a space
of welcoming, communion, liberation and inclusion, an important space for new
communitarian and evangelical relationships having a transforming potential, where the
family and the community can get together. The approach is made mainly taking into
consideration Jesus' practices and those of primitive communities, according to the Act of the
Apostles.

No segundo
The objective of the research was to analyze the text in the Letter to the Christian Community
of Ephesus. (Ap 2,1-7), the general literary characteristics, the structure, the literary genre, the
purpose, the context of the community in its Christian way of life, the challenges and
responses during persecution in the Roman Empire and in the adversity of religious pluralism
in the post-apostolic time (96-130 AD), thus building some ways to help the present Christian
communities to face their own challenges. By means of a bibliographical approach, a study
review was conducted, based on the axis text-context, with the adoption of content analysis on
two levels: critical or contextual analysis and text analysis. The first chapter presents the
historical context in which the text was produced: time and sociopolitical, economic and
religious reality in Asia Minor and in the city of Ephesus in the 1st
century AD, the
persecution and religious plurality of the Christians in the Ephesians community, during the
post-apostolic period. The chapter also brings the reflections of the historical moment of
persecution and religious plurality in the practice and life of the Christians in the Ephesians
community, in order to help elucidate the steps they took to respond to the challenges caused
by the persecution in the Roman Empire and the religious plurality in Asia Minor. The second
chapter is about the general literary characteristics, the origin and the formation of the
apocalyptic movement, the time, the place, the addressees, the structure, the literary genre and
the purpose of the text in Ap 2,1-7. The third chapter presents the analysis of the path taken
by the Base Ecclesial Communities in Brazil and in the Diocese of Rondonopolis MT, the
reflection and the construction of some responses, in light of Ap 2,1-7, of how communities
may respond to the present challenges. Looking at the third generation of Christian
communities has been an analytical exercise, inspiring alternatives for community life that
need to be built in face of the challenges posed to Christians in our time. The text in Ap 2,1-7
may be taken as a parameter, for it reveals our Christian identity, an identity that should not
be subject to change in adverse times and that should lead us to a more enthusiastic testimony
and fidelity in following Jesus.

"Vou levantar-me...!" Resistência de mulheres no pós-exílio e no MaranhãoMartha Isabel Furtado Bispo 30 June 2011 (has links)
This study enters the world of women in the South of Maranhão and compares it with the world of women in post-exilic era, as reflected in selected texts from the Song of Songs (1:5-6; 3:1-5 and 8:1-14). Through a feminist liberation hermeneutics, we try to understand the situation of contempt, exclusion, discrimination and violence of
women within a patriarchal, androcentric, and hierarchical system, with its economic, social, political, religious and cultural dimensions, which prevails both in the Song
Songs and in the reality in South Maranhão. It shows how, in both contexts, the women resist the dominant model of life and propose another model based on harmony, brotherly and egalitarian relations without prejudice and domination. At first, this study portrays reality of women in Southern Maranhão. Then, we focus on how they resist this system which is violent with them. Thirdly, we present the context of the time of emergence of the Song of Songs in the post-exilic period and the resistance of women in that period. Fourth, specific and representative texts of the Song are analyzed. Finally, we draw a parallel between the women of Southern Maranhão today and women in Song of Songs. This study seeks to strengthen the struggles and
the self-esteem of women, especially those in Southern Maranhão, to continue to resist any oppression, gestating, thus, a new world full of equality, sisterhood, solidarity,
inclusion, justice and peace.

This work is a result of an exegetical and bibliographical research, made in the biblical area, which investigates the term paroikoj as a metaphor about the temporality of life. Paroikoj (paroikos) is a Greek word that corresponds to the term rG (gēr), in Hebrew. The application of the term has a broad and variable spectrum, but the most important, and that is present in most of the concepts, is the one which refers to pilgrim, migrant and foreigner. In the first part, from the analysis of Greek and Hebrew texts, It is made a survey on the subject to whom the term is assigned to, their living conditions and social status. It was found that the migratory waves are an important phenomena in the history of Israel, and in the lives of biblical peoples who fought for space and land, and that being a resident foreigner used to limit the rights of individuals, placing them at an inferiority condition. In the Sociology of early Christianity, the frailty of the everyday realities and social exclusion, experienced by the Christians, gave them the title of paroikos. The self-consciousness of the Christians to be citizens of heaven led to the eschatological expectation of a heavenly city and strengthened the identity of paroikos. The variants and the evolution of the term in the Old Testament, in the New Testament and in the extra-biblical literature are highlighted. The concept of paroikoj is analyzed in its symbolic allocation and it is researched the occurrences of where it receives the eschatological connotation of temporality of life and expectation of immortality. The second part analyzes the notion of temporality of life in the stages of human development, from birth to death, through the losses and changes throughout life. The human being lives in a frailty state, and migrates from one condition to another, by a continuous exodus, each new phase meaning the death of the old one. With this postulate we present the several symbolic deaths that happen in the life of the same person and the points of contact with the concept of paroikos, meaning the one who is in transit. To conclude we present the rites of passage as important mechanisms for the elaboration of the symbolic mourning from the roaming conditions that mark human life.

Violence is a recurring theme in Brazilian society. Its roots go back to antiquity
and its effects remain, today, noticeable in the daily life of many women around the
world. It is known that in Brazil every 15 seconds and 1 woman is assaulted, and this
perverse statistics of women dying in their homes is still a taboo subject in many
sectors of society. As the prospect of violence against women, the study of biblical
and theological feminist cutting has produced relevant analysis regarding the socioreligious,
and in dialogue with the sociological research has fostered new
perspectives on the problem. Thus, the aim here is to probe the discursive discourse
in drafting the text of Ephesians 5. 21-33, which contains specific directives for the
conduct of the Christian woman, and assess how far such a policy is based on broad
cultural movements of the context in which it was produced and their possible links
with the later religious reality.
