do Apocalipse 13.
O objetivo é identificar a
The present work is an analysis of the present state of Neoliberalism seen in the light of
Apocalypse Thirteen. In the first chapter, historical and sociological elements are sought, so
that they might elucidate the relationship between capitalism and religion. It includes a
summary of the consolidation of liberal thought following the ideas of Adam Smith, the
welfare state of Keynes, and the theories of Hayek and Neoliberalisms official implantation
in the so called Washington Consensus. The chapter addresses the connection between
religion and capitalism according to the theories of Max Weber, Walter Benjamin and Adam
Smith. The second chapter studies the historical roots and characteristics of Apocalyptic
Literature. The aim is to identify the movement behind this literature; that is, one of
prophetic resistance against a power that oppresses and excludes people. Thus, the
apocalyptic books must be read as a contestation and denunciation of the tyranny of the
Roman Empire which imposed itself as a god. The third chapter is dedicated to the
interpretation of chapter thirteen of the Apocalypse, in which the two beasts are described as
receiving their power from the dragon. These are understood as keys that help us unmask the
false marketing of religion, built and justified upon neoliberal theories. Finally, the chapter
concludes with the reconstruction of hope today, based on the real experience of confronting
Neoliberalism as the ultimate model.

do Império Romano no período do Novo Testamento.
This research analyzes the attitude of the Apostle Paul against the institution of slavery in the Roman Empire in the New Testament period.
cidades do NT.
estrangeiro, intelectualmente viva, materialmente próspera e moralmente corrupta. O
O Deus Uno e Trino constitui a
O êxtase marca a
Corinth, the third largest city of the Roman Empire, was constituted by many peoples,

discussion, as 1 Cor 12-14. Paul points out in defense of the charisms of the building

A primeira parte aborda o entendimento do objetivo e do
A segunda parte aborda as
ano do jubileu.
An analysis of the relation between God, land and the mankind and their involvement
with the human beings dignity. The first part broaches the understanding of the aim
and the purpose of the creation of the human being, including mainly the power that
God delegate to the human being shortly afterwards their creation, and how this
power was lost. These aims are see starting from three views: the relation between
God and land and God and the mankind and between the mankind and the land. It
broaches too the importance of the understanding of the peculiarity of the mankind
creation, mainly regarding to your distinction with reference to the others being
created: Be created in image and likeness of God. And, also, the implications of the
relation between the mankind and the land and what both have in common. God
created the land to the mankind, and the mankind passed to live in it and to take of it
their maintenance, and in spite of the man has fallen and lost the power, God kept
unchanged in his promise done to Abraham. The second part broaches the laws,
made to govern the use of the land by the man witness that the man needs to live in
society, the remark becomes necessary. For this, we analyse the laws in Torah and
meanly the Sabbath, as Saturday and such sabbatical year, and the jubilee year.
These rulings of God show the importance of the land to the people of Israel and to
God. In the third part notice also, the implications of this relation so ample in the
human beings dignity, and as the book of Ruth gives us examples so simple and so
deep of overcome so complex problems. Lived by the people on that epoch.. The
possession of the land is one of the great, or the greatest social problems faced by
the mankind since the old times and one of the areas that have been more disputed
in the world is the Palestine land in the Middle East. Therefore, this research is
important and necessary to approach the link of the relation between God, land and
mankind with the human beings dignity.

frutífero no Espírito.
In this work we try to discover and understand why in spite of New Testament teachings a
large part of the Church still guides the life of Christians based on the obligation to obey
Christian duties, laws, and rules similarly to what happened to the Galatians at the time Paul
wrote his Letter to them. The first part studies briefly the moral of duty in Christianity
through History and the historical fight between the moralities of duty and pleasure. In that
respect, we look to Jewish Old-Testament context, to Greek cultural context, and to the
teachings and attitudes of Jesus, Paul, and the Church over the centuries in an effort to
establish when and in which situation the morality of duty became hegemonic among
Christians. This historical approach of the first part follows the development of the morality
of duty also into secular society in Europe, passing through the Protestant Reform, through
immigration to America, and to the current situation of the Brazilian church, to which is also
offered a brief psychotheological analysis. In the second part, once-established similarities to
the churches in Galatia from the Biblical epistle times, we move on to study the historical
context of these recipients, and proceed to an exegesis of Gl 3.1-5, which synthesizes Pauls
reaction to the fascination of those Christians towards obeying laws and duties. We then see
how he puts this attitude of them in contrast with the gospel originally presented by him,
based on the preaching of the faith, on the centrality of the cross of Jesus, and on life in the
freedom of the Holy Spirit. To better understand this opposition of two lifestyles before God,
in this work we follow the unrolling of the path of the Spirit along the whole Epistle,
searching in more detail what the burden of Christian duty is made of, and how Gods Word
tries to encourage us to follow the free, loving, and fruitful way of the Spirit. In conclusion,
we list the elements perceived, and noticing the possibility of a different understanding of
duty, we make way for invitations to the current Church to deepen itself in the lane of the
Spirit.

That work has, for objective, to recognize the structures that use the imaginary divine to legitimate the perpetuation of the power. For that understanding it was used the modern philological historiografic hermeneutics, sensitive to the structures and ideological manipulations. Philology, according to Bakhtin and Benveniste, and historiography to the school of Annáles. Of ownership of those perspectives hermeneutics, it was possible to move forward towards the imaginary biblical. The Bible was understood as a control instrument used to legitimate the structures of power of the old world. In that research, the imaginary of the old world was represented as a kind of global theology, in that the imaginary of a Terrible God was used, in the nations of the Fertile Crescent, to legitimate the dominance and the perpetuation of the power. Finally, leaning in the dialogical hermeneutics , it was possible to confront the imaginary of Terrible God with Kind God. The writing of the second testament follows the texts of resistance of the Hebraic Bible and they reveal a dialogical dimension. Kind God is an answer to Terrible God preached by the dominant ideology. That reflection allowed the re-read of several confrontation texts for recovery of the meaning. That research is relevant for the pastoral practice, because the community's reading of the Bible still didn't notice the ideological manipulations in that the text was produced.

junguiana e a poimênica.
junguiana, o cuidado pastoral e a própria religião. No desenvolvimento dessas
e da teologia da cruz enquanto vértices para uma efetiva cura da alma / This paper discusses issues related to the concept and practice of pastoral
care, with contributions from Jungian analysis for Christian guidance and
counseling, as well as studies the links between Jungian therapy and pastoral
care. To accomplish this, it is based on the assertion that the Christian
counseling and pastoral care are linked to the ministries of the church, in the
sense of diakonia, to the services that involve helping people and groups,
because it offers them the prospect of faith and revelation. It develops the idea
that analytical psychology can offer a suitable method for Christian needs,
considering that the Jungian approach enables both the transformation and
integration of psychic contents, as well as taking on the path of self-knowledge,
and both of these results also point to the benefits of spiritual and religious
guidance, showing that this is the main meeting of and relationship between
Jungian analysis, pastoral care, and religion itself. In developing these
perspectives religious and symbolic dimensions of the psyche and the theology
of the cross as vertices for effective healing of the soul were explored.

This paper proposes a dialog between theology and medicine based on the analysis of the cure
of the woman suffering from hemorrhages (Lk 8:43-48). The research is guided by the
exegetical and methodological practice of Faculdades EST and its research orientators. The
work describes in a brief way, the issue of the meaning of curing in the context of the first
century, the history of medicine, presenting its concept and its origin, as it applies to what
illness meant to the primitive people of Mesopotamia and to illness in the East, in Greek
mythology and the development of medicine in Greece, Roman medicine and medicine
among the Hebrew people. It also deals with the author of the Gospel which the tradition of
the church attributes to Luke, the doctor, originally from Syrian Antioch, with the illness
which plagued the woman in Luke 8:43-48, with the physical meaning of the hemorrhagic
illness, with the possible causes of the hemorrhage, with the social and religious implication
of the illness. The work presents an exegetical interpretation of the text in focus, with its
prerogatives of interpretation, with the analysis of textual variants and the literary analysis of
the Gospel of Luke. The work also focuses on the initiative of the hemorrhagic woman and
her cure through the miraculous action of Jesus. The work also reflects on the miracle of the
cure and the cure as a miracle, about miracle in the Bible, in the Old and New Testament, and
specifically about the miracle of the cure of the hemorrhagic woman and its physical and
social meaning. Finally, the work lists a reasonable number of works where the readers and
the researchers can obtain more information on the theme.

A historical-grammatical exegesis of the Initiation (Prologue) of the Gospel of John. It begins with an analysis of the historical-critical, semiotic and historical-grammatical methods. This latter one was chosen without neglecting the advances propitiated by the historical-critical method which do not conflict with that method. We proceed to the textual criticism choosing the most expressive variables. A prior translation is elaborated without many refinements prioritizing a literal sense. A literary analysis is made to delimit the text, get to know its structure, its literary sources and the literary role of the pericope. In the quest for the structure of the text, four segments are discovered: the creator logos, the luminous logos, the incarnated logos and the glorious logos. In the literary role of the pericope the inadequateness of the term Prologue is discussed and the term Initiation is proposed. Following, there is the analysis of the redaction where internal and external evidence is discussed related to authorship, factors which can indicate the date of the composition of the text, the place where it was written and recipients. At the end of the redaction analysis, the proposition is posited that the main purpose for the writing of the gospel is for the defense of the faith, which is facing Gnostic and Jewish threats, through the Johanine Christology. In the form analyses the text is a smaller genre within a larger genre, analyzing its possible living places. Within the analysis of traditions the substrata which are behind the terms which can have various origins are discussed: logos, light, getting to know and truth. Then one gets to the heart of the exegesis which corresponds to the analysis of the content. Each one of the four segments discovered in the literary analysis is analyzed. Within each segment, first, a grammatical analysis is done with emphasis on discovering the meaning of each word in the light of the impressions which the evangelist left throughout the Gospel and his living world. Next, an analysis of the broad context is done using the grammatical discoveries and analyzing the historical perspectives. This is followed by analyses of the specific context, in which the text is understood in light of the Jewish and Gnostic problem. After comes the theological analysis which deals with the most important issues of the theology of the prologue in connection with other theological texts of the Scriptures. Finally we have the final translation which aims at making use of the knowledge produced throughout the whole exegesis to produce a translation which comes closest to the message which the author wanted to transmit to his first readers.
