A formação de jornalistas especializados na cobertura de Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação (C,T&I) e a profissionalização das assessorias de comunicação têm sido fundamentais para a ampliação e a melhoria da qualidade da divulgação científica nos meios de comunicação. Este é o caso do setor de comunicação científica da Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (Fapesp), criado em 1995, e que desde então vem aprimorando suas atividades de divulgação e influenciando outras agências de fomento do país, pautadas pela sua experiência. Examinar o trabalho de comunicação integrada da Fapesp, cuja atuação tem contribuído na consolidação da imagem da Fundação é o objetivo principal deste trabalho. Trata-se de um Estudo de Caso, que utiliza a técnica da Análise de Conteúdo, com apoio da pesquisa bibliográfica, documental e entrevistas semi-estruturadas. A pesquisa é de natureza qualitativa, combinada com o método quantitativo para ilustrar algumas das informações. Os resultados da pesquisa indicam que a divulgação científica realizada pelo setor de comunicação da Fapesp está em processo contínuo de aperfeiçoamento e tem sido fundamental para a consolidação da imagem institucional. Os diferentes veículos e abordagens (revista Pesquisa Fapesp, Agencia Fapesp, Portal, entre outros) têm se tornado referência na área e contribuído para a divulgação das pesquisas financiadas pela instituição na mídia em geral e para a formação de uma cultura científica / Abstract: Research institutions and funding agencies have been increasingly concerned about how important is the dissemination of Brazilian scientific production for the development of a scientific culture in the country. Education for journalists specialized in the coverage of Science, Technology and Innovation and the increasing professionalism of Communications Offices have been essential to the expansion and improvement of scientific dissemination in the media. This is the case of Fapesp (Fundação de Apoio à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo) Communications Office, established in 1995. Since its foundation, Fapesp Communications Office has been enhancing its activities and has become an example for other funding agencies in the country, guided by its experience. The main objective of this project is to examine the work done by Fapesp Communications Office which performance has helped consolidating the image of the referred agency. This research is a case study, which uses the techniques of content analysis, supported by literature, documentary analysis and semi-structured interviews. The research is qualitative, combined with the quantitative method to illustrate some information. The survey results indicate that the scientific outreach done by Fapesp is in continuous process of improvement and has been essential in the consolidation of the institutional image. The different vehicles and approaches (Pesquisa Fapesp magazine, news agency, sites, etc.) have become a reference in the area and contributed to the dissemination of the researches funded by the institution in the media, and to the formation of a scientific culture as well / Mestrado / Divulgação Científica e Cultural / Mestre em Divulgação Científica e Cultural

Il y a plus d'un siècle, les conditions de travail ont fortement évolué sous l'influence de l'industrialisation et notamment à partir de nouvelles méthodes de travail du type Tayloriennes. Des bureaux ouverts à l'Action Office des années 50, c'est plus de 60% de la population active qui est concernée aujourd'hui en Europe. L'évolution des réglementations, liée à la prise de conscience collective des effets psychosomatiques des nuisances sonores, entraîne l'implication par les maîtrises d'ouvrages de bureaux d'études acoustiques pour la préconisation et la mise en œuvre dans la construction et la réhabilitation des espaces tertiaires. La rencontre d'acteurs scientifiques et industriels a donné lieu à ce travail de thèse, étudiant la propagation de l'énergie acoustique pour des espaces dont une des dimensions est différente des autres.La méthode se réduit à la conservation du tenseur énergie-impulsion puis à un système d'équations couplées sur l'intensité acoustique et sur la densité d'énergie. C'est un système hyperbolique d'équations linéaires aux dérivés partielles du premier ordre. Une méthode d'intégration sur une à deux dimensions de l'espace permet d'introduire les coefficients d'absorption et de diffusion moyens. Nous introduisons le potentiel d'intensité et nous écrivons le système sous la forme d'une équation hyperbolique linéaire aux dérivées partielles du second ordre impliquant la densité d'énergie, l'intensité acoustique ou le potentiel d'intensité sur une ou deux dimensions. Nous proposons une méthode analytique approchée permettant de vérifier les résultats à une dimension.Pour la conception acoustique des plateaux de bureaux, la modélisation informatique est un outil remarquable souffrant pourtant de limitations restreignant ses applications. Nous résolvons le formalisme introduit dans ce travail par la méthode des différences finies dans le domaine temporel sur une et deux dimensions. Les schémas utilisés sont stables et explicites et peu couteux en mémoires informatiques. Le fait que nous nous intéressions à une variable énergétique permet de considérer un pas de modélisation spatial important - de l'ordre du mètre - et d'accélérer d'autant les calculs.Le partenariat industriel nous a notamment permis d'accéder à des espaces de type plateaux de bureaux. Nous comparons les résultats des modélisations avec des mesures in situ conduites avec un microphone SoundField ST250 permettant l'estimation de la densité d'énergie et de l'intensité acoustique. / More than a century ago, working conditions have evolved under the influence of industrialization and especially of new management methods such as the Taylorism. From Open-Spaces to Action Offices in the 1950s, more than 60 % of the European working population is concerned today. The evolution of regulations, linked to the collective awareness of the psychosomatic effects of noise, has led clients to request the involvement of acoustical consultants for giving recommendations and supervising their implementation in constructions and rehabilitations of office spaces. This is why scientific and industrial stakeholders joined forces for this thesis dedicated to the propagation of sound energy within rooms characterized by one dimension different from the others.The method developed in this thesis reduces the conservation of the energy-stress tensor to a system of coupled equations for the sound intensity and the sound energy density. It is a hyperbolic system of linear, partial differential equations of first order. Integrating this system on one or two space dimensions leads to the introduction of the mean absorption and diffusion coefficients. We then introduce an intensity potential and write the system in the form of a linear hyperbolic equation involving partial derivatives of second order for the energy density, the sound intensity, or the intensity potential in one or two dimensions. We also propose an analytical approximated method to verify the results in one dimension.For the acoustic design of open-space offices, computer modelling is an outstanding tool. Yet limitations restrict its applications. We solve the equations introduced in this work by the finite-difference time-domain method in the one- and two-dimensional cases. We use stable and explicit schemes that require little computer memory. Considering energy variables allows the use of large spatial steps - of the order of the metre - and accelerates the calculations.The industrial partnership notably gave us access to open-space offices. We compare the results of the modelling with in situ measurements carried out with a SoundField ST250 microphone that makes it possible to estimate the sound energy density and the sound intensity.

This study is based on previous research concluding that sub-national actors now function on a complex arena where the nation state is not the sole and self-evident channel to the European Union. Based on that assumption, the thesis is intended to create understanding of the nature of the relationship between the West Sweden regional office and its Värmland commissioners in the case of regional action. The relationship between the regional office and its members was examined in a case study of open consultation around the EU’s new EU 2020 strategy. The questions posed in the thesis are answered by interviews with representatives of West Sweden and certain Värmland members of that organization. The results of the interviews were then analyzed based on a fusion perspective, which addresses various indicators for regional action. The results of the study show that the West Sweden regional office can assume a clearer role in regional influencing, but also that Region Värmland plays an important role in influencing the EU. In order for Värmland as a region to continue to be able to influence the supranational level forthcoming, its municipalities need to raise their awareness of what the EU does.

Den här uppsatsens syfte är att utveckla Carnegieskolans organisationsteori med en kompletterande teoretisering om hur organisationer hanterar sin invävdhet i meta-organisationer när de fattar beslut och handlar. För att möta syftet fokuserar uppsatsen vid att integrera Carnegieskolans teoribildning med Ahrne & Brunssons teori om metaorganisationer för att utveckla en teori om medlemskap i metaorganisationer som en särskild typ av invävdhet och beskriva hur organisationer relaterar till sitt medlemskap i beslutsfattande och handling. Uppsatsens empiriska del består i en jämförande fallstudie över hur regeringskansliet agerat i samband med medlemskapen i Schengensamarbetet respektive FN:s hållbarhetsagenda, Agenda 2030. Resultaten visar att regeringskansliet svarar mot invävdheten genom aktivering och riktning av enskilda delar av sin organisation mot meta-organisationen för att hantera sådana krav och förväntningar som medlemskapet medför. Resultaten visar därtill på hur invävdheten inverkat på regeringskansliets strukturer för beslutsfattande genom att organisationen integrerade element ur metaorganisationen i sina interna beslutsstrukturer för att underlätta beslutsfattande och konflikthantering. Studien visar även på hur medlemskap i meta-organisationen på ett avsiktligt rationellt sätt används som en extern referenspunkt att rikta regeringskansliets arbete mot. Uppsatsen bidrar till organisationsteorin med begreppet aktivering från ett inomorganisatoriskt perspektiv, en beskrivning av hur medlemskap i internationella meta-organisationer inverkar på regeringskansliets beslutsfattande och handling, liksom med grunder för en fördjupad teoretisk förståelse av vilken roll medlemskap tilldelas inom en medlemsorganisation och varför organisationer aktivt väljer att väva in sina beslutsstrukturer i sin omgivning. / The purpose of this thesis is to further develop the organizational theory of the Carnegie school by contributing a theorization of how organizations handle being embedded in meta-organizations when making decisions and acting. To meet this purpose, the thesis focuses on integrating the theory of the Carnegie school with Ahrne & Brunssons theory of meta-organizations to develop a theory of membership in metaorganizations as a certain type of embeddedness and describe how organizations relate to their membership in decision-making and action. The empirical part of the thesis consists of a comparative cross-case study concerning how the government offices of Sweden responded to becoming members in the Schengen Area and the UN:s Agenda 2030 for sustainable development. The thesis’ results shows that the government offices responded to their embeddedness by activating and directing certain parts of its organization towards the meta-organization in order to handle the demands and expectations the membership entailed. The results further show that the embeddedness has affected the government offices’ structures for decision-making as the organization has integrated elements from the meta-organization into its own decision-structures to facilitate decision-making and handling conflicts. The thesis also show how membership in a meta-organization is used as an external point of reference for the organization’s operations in an intendedly rational way. The thesis thereby contributes to organizational theory with the concept of activation from a within-organizational perspective, a description of how membership in meta-organizations affect decision-making and action within the government offices, as well as foundations for a further theoretical understanding of the role membership is assigned within a member-organization and why organizations actively choose to embed their decision-structures in their environment.

Data envelopment analysis models are common tools to measure efficiency of decision-making unit. This thesis presents several DEA-based approaches and describes data that are collected and closely watched by Czech Tax Offices. Presented methods are used to evaluate Tax Offices. Each Tax Office will be evaluated with efficiency rate by every presented approach. In the last part of this thesis, the Tax Offices will be ordered by achieved results and the methods will be compared.

This diploma thesis is built on prediploma project, whose aim was to create a strategy for converting of ground of textile factory Perla in Usti nad Orlici. During prediploma project functional content of the whole area was designed, for diploma thesis it was chosen part of this territory and it was processed in detail. Specifically, it was chosen the southwestern part of the area situated around a factory smokestack. Partly, there is a new use of existing buildings and partly there are designed new objects. Preserved buildings will be newly used as a museum, gallery, IQ center, formal hall, shops and offices. All new buildings in the selected area will be used for commercial purposes, namely for shops, offices, services and a cafeteria. Important city-forming elements are two squares: one smaller around the chimney, which is intimate, and the second square, which is larger, so there is enough room for holding various social events.

The aim of my diploma thesis is a plan of a multifunctional house. The proposed building is designed in low-energy norm. The shape arrangement is an irregular rectangle, covered by two flat roofs. One of the roofs serves as a terrace. It is a five-storey building. Half of the ground floor serves as offices and the other half as an utility space for the flats above. The other four floors are for housing. Aforementioned building is located in Třebíč, in the area Na kopcích, on Modřínová street, plot No.1039/7. Vertical and horizontal construction are designed from POROTHERM building system. The building is based on a concrete foundation slab.

Content of this diploma thesis is analysis of the operation of heat and cold sources and its evaluation based on data from measurement and control systém and design of a new solution for heating and cooling selected part of the object Otevřená zahrada. Building is located on the street Údolní in Brno. It is a three-storey building serving as offices of non-profit organizations and weekend activities of the organization. On the first floor there is a technical background of the building and half of it is used by four offices. On the second floor there is a seminar hall with a capacity of 50 persons. The rest of the floor is used by three meeting rooms and three offices. The third floor is used by four offices. For the heating and cooling of building, there are designed heat pumps ground-water. Air exchange in the building is provided by the air handling unit.

The subject of this diploma thesis is the desing and development of project documentation for the construction of a new building of the multifunctional house Rozkošská. Object will be located in the city of Hlavlíčkův Brod in part Rozkoš. The new biulding will be divided in to commercial space in ground floor, office space in second floor and residental area in third floor. It is three-storey multifuncional house with a warm flat roof with a typical sequence of layers based on foundation pads. The structural system is desinged reinforced concrete frame. The diploma thesis is processed with the valid standards, laws and decreens of the Czech Republic in the current version.

The subject of this diploma thesis is the design and elaboration of project documentation for the implementation of a new multifunctional building. The building will be located in the city of Brno in the district of Ko-márov. The new building will be divided into three separate functional units - underground garage, office space with hairdresser and residential part. Each apartment is equipped with a separate balcony. It is a four-storey, partly basement multifunctional house with a flat roof, based on reinfor-ced concrete slab. The construction system is designed wall. The basement part of the buil-ding is built from concrete molded blocks of permanent shuttering, the above-ground part from ceramic blocks of the Porotherm system. The ceiling structure consists of reinforced concrete monolithic slabs. The windows will be plastic. The thesis is designed in accordance with applicable laws, ordinances and standards.
