FundaÃÃo Cearense de Apoio ao Desenvolvimento Cientifico e TecnolÃgico / FundaÃÃo de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado do Cearà / A viagem como um princÃpio na formaÃÃo do habitus de mÃsicos à o que apresenta esta tese. A pesquisa se debruÃou sobre a trajetÃria de trÃs mÃsicos de itinerÃrios diversos, mas oriundos da mesma geraÃÃo de intelectuais e artistas cearenses que ficou conhecida como Pessoal do CearÃ, a saber: ManassÃs LourenÃo de Sousa, Raimundo Fagner CÃndido Lopes e Rodger Franco de RogÃrio. A investigaÃÃo foi realizada atravÃs de entrevistas semiestruturadas, complementada com depoimentos de sujeitos-informantes que enriqueceram o trabalho, agregando poder explicativo ao estudo realizado. Foram analisadas essas trajetÃrias desde a origem social atà a definiÃÃo socioprofissional consolidada no campo social. Identificou-se que os agentes partiram de origens sociais diferentes e se definiram no trajeto tambÃm de forma diversa, contudo apresentaram como ponto comum o fato de a viagem operar mudanÃas centrais na condiÃÃo de mÃsicos. A praxiologia de Pierre Bourdieu, atravÃs dos conceitos de habitus, capitais e campo, trouxe as ferramentas necessÃrias para iluminar o deslocamento geogrÃfico como um caminho de mudanÃa do habitus e dos capitais de mÃsicos e que, por sua vez, redefiniram a posiÃÃo dos agentes no campo musical. Nesse sentido, pode-se asseverar a viagem como estratÃgia de mudanÃa baseada em uma lÃgica de transformaÃÃo do deslocamento fÃsico (geogrÃfico) em um deslocamento social no interior do campo musical. / The thesis presents the travel as a principle in the formation of the habitus of musicians. The research has focused on the trajectory of three musicians from different routes, from the same generation of intellectuals and artists who became known as Pessoal do Ceara, namely: ManassÃs LourenÃo de Sousa, Raimundo Fagner CÃndido Lopes and Franco Rodger RogÃrio. The research was conducted through semi-structured interviews, complete with testimonials from individuals who have enriched the work by adding explanatory power to the study.The trajectories were analyzed from the social origins of the subjects until the consolidation of their socio-professional setting in the social field. It was found that the agents originated from different social backgrounds, had their paths defined differently, however had the common point the travel as the operator of central changes in their conditions of musicians. Pierre Bourdieuâs praxiology and the concepts of habitus, capital and field were the tools used to illuminate the process of change of the subjects habitus and capital. We can say that travel was a main change strategy, based on a logic of transformation of physical movement (geographical) in a social shift within the music field.

A vida de um jovem e seu percurso pelo mundo em busca de sua identidade é o mote do romance de formação, subgênero que teve seu auge entre os séculos XVIII e XIX. Franco Moretti e Esther Labovitz, entre outros críticos por nós considerados, estudaram a fundo o romance de formação o Bildungsroman , sendo que esta última autora focalizou a variante feminina no Bildungsroman do século XX. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo analisar o romance da escritora italiana Melania Mazzucco Lei così amata. O romance recorta e focaliza uma parte da vida da escritora suíça Annemarie Schwarzenbach, portanto possui as características do romance biográfico. Contudo, pretendemos, neste estudo, evidenciar principalmente as características que fazem dessa obra um romance de formação. Por meio da conturbada trajetória vivida pela protagonista, buscamos reconhecer, nas viagens empreendidas por ela, ao redor do mundo, as características fundamentais do romance de formação. Em particular, com base nos estudos de Mikhail Bakhtin sobre o cronotopo, analisamos as formas com que o tempo vivido nos diferentes continentes Ásia, América e África marcam o percurso formativo da heroína. / The life of a young man and his way through the world in search of his own identity is the motto of the formation novel, subgenre which had its climax between the 18th and the 19th centuries. Franco Moretti and Esther Labovitz, among other critics considered by us, studied the formation novel in depth the Bildungsroman , this last author focusing on the feminine variant in the Bildungsroman of the 20th century. This study aims at analyzing the novel of the Italian writer Melania Mazzucco Lei così amata. The novel focuses on part of the life of the Swiss writer Annemarie Schwarzenbach, therefore it presents all the characteristics of the biographical novel. However, in this study, our main intention is to demonstrate all the features that make this work a formation novel. Through the troubled trajectory lived by the protagonist, we try to recognize, in her journeys around the world, the fundamental features of the formation novel. In particular, based on the Mikhail Bakhtins studies of the chronotope, we analyze the forms in which the time lived in the different continents Asia, America and Africa determine the heroines formative course.

Esta dissertação tem por objetivo realizar uma leitura poético-filosófica do livro Marinheiro de primeira viagem, de Osman Lins, que se destaca por seu experimentalismo literário e por inovar o gênero \"literatura de viagem\". Embora seja um livro elaborado com base na viagem que seu autor fez à Europa, onde ficou seis meses, em 1961, ele não oferece a seus relatos as características que se costuma imprimir a esse gênero tradicional, em que o autor revela suas impressões e faz descrições das experiências vividas. Ao registrar suas memórias, ele cria uma estética literária inovadora por sua narrativa insubmissa, não-linear, marcadamente fragmentada, mas poética. Nos registros, o diálogo intertextual com a tradição cultural é intenso, e destacaremos esse intercâmbio como memória que a literatura tem dela mesma. Nessa relação entre textos, ganha relevo o mítico Orfeu e sua amada Eurídice, que potencializam a poética do livro e congregam o leitor ao texto para uma leitura hermenêutica com base na estética da recepção. Quanto ao aspecto filosófico do trabalho, encontramos apoio nas idéias hermenêuticoontológicas do filósofo Martin Heidegger e sua meditação sobre a obra de arte e a poesia, que contribuem para uma reflexão acerca do evento poético que unifica os fragmentos em Marinheiro de primeira viagem. / The purpose of this work is to do a poetic-philosophical reading of the Osman Lins book Marinheiro de primeira viagem, which is distinguished by its literary experimentalism, and its innovation in the \"travel narrative\". In spite of the fact that the author created this book based on a six month trip in Europe, in 1961, he didn\'t give it the characteristics normally founded in these traditional works which mean: impressions and descriptions of lived experiences. When he writes about his memoirs, he creates a new literary esthetics with a revolutionary narrative totally fragmentary and poetic. In the author\'s notes the intertextual dialogue with cultural tradition is so intensive, that we will stress the value of this interchange as literature memoirs. In this relation between the texts, we will also stress the mythical Orpheus and his beloved Eurydice which increase the poetic in the book and gather the reader with the text for a hermeneutic reading based on the esthetics of the reception. As for the philosophical aspect of this work, we have founded our choices on the philosopher Martin Heidegger hermeneutic-ontological ideas and his meditation on the works of art and the poetry, which contribute to a reflection about the poetic event which unifies the fragments in Marinheiro de primeira viagem.

As características de estado de componentes de drenagem de setenta e dois quilômetros de rodovias vicinais próximas a Araraquara, estado de São Paulo, que foram submetidos à reconstrução e manutenção durante os anos 2001 e 2003 puderam ser medidas em campo e as características do movimento de água puderam ser simuladas usando estimativa de vazões. Ainda, a qualidade de viagem por estes segmentos pode ser levantada por opiniões de avaliadores treinados para observação de pavimentos. O trabalho relata e discute resultados obtidos ao mostrar que a análise de regressão é eficiente para identificar processos que definam a ordem de prioridade de manutenção de dispositivos de drenagem de segmentos de vias e orientar a escolha de ações coerentes com a melhoria de qualidade de viagens por rodovias, que coincide com a proteção dos pavimentos. Os dados utilizados foram avaliações por avaliadores treinados, levantamentos de estado de seções das vias, e estimativa de condições de escoamento de água por simulação em computadores. Espera-se que a informação sobre o comportamento de relações entre notas e propriedades de dispositivos de drenagem contribua para orientar critérios e métodos que definam prioridades de ações para reconstruir, manter e melhorar a qualidade de viagens em rodovias e proteger pavimentos e faixa de domínio / The characteristics of state of components of drainage of seventy two kilometers of local highways close to Araraquara, state of São Paulo, Brazil, submitted to reconstruction and maintenance during the years 2001 and 2003 could be measured in field and the characteristics of water movement could be simulated using estimated flows. Still, the trip quality for these segments can be lifted up from user’s opinions trained to observe pavements. The work discusses results obtained when showing that the regression analysis is efficient to identify processes to define the order of priority of maintenance of equipments of drainage on segments of roads and to guide the choice of coherent actions to improve the quality of trips for highways, because it coincides with the protection of the pavements. The used data were evaluations for trained appraisers, risings of state of sections of the roads, and estimate of conditions of drainage simulated in computers. It is waited that the information about the behavior of relationships between notes and properties of drainage equipments contributes to guide criteria and methods that define priorities of actions to rebuild, to maintain and to improve the quality of trips in highways and to protect pavements and the domain strip

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / Além do conhecimento histórico, as narrativas de viagem sobre a Amazônia também se configuram como formas de construção imagética da região na medida em que essas narrativas constituem representações da realidade observada a partir do olhar subjetivo do estrangeiro, relacionando-se, com frequência, ao imaginário e ao simbólico. O volume I da obra Vom Roraima Zum Orinoco, do etnógrafo alemão Theodor Koch-Grünberg, é o relato de sua viagem nos anos de 1911 a 1913 à Amazônia. Nesse relato, ele narra e descreve seu encontro com os índios e a exuberante natureza amazônica da região circum-Roraima. É claro que este encontro com o outro não poderia deixar de ser descrito a partir do olhar europeu e, apesar do discurso científico-naturalista, e talvez pela própria força do novo lugar, Koch-Grünberg acaba fazendo diversas concessões ao poético, construindo imagens para a Amazônia (ou para o que ele supõe como Amazônia) que revelam a influência dos discursos identitários (e imaginários) sobre/da Amazônia que circulavam na Europa e que resultam numa prática discursiva reveladora do embate entre sua dimensão plural e singular. A partir do paradigma indiciário proposto por Carlo Ginzburg, este texto busca apontar alguns resquícios dessas imagens captadas pelo viajante alemão, enfatizando as diversas formas pelas quais ele narra uma Amazônia sob a perspectiva do real, do ficcional e do poético. / Above the historical knowledge, the travel narratives about Amazon also stand as imagetic forms of construction of the region in so far as these narratives are representations of reality seen from the subjective standpoint of foreign, relating frequently the imaginary and the symbolic. The first volume of work Vom Roraima Zum Orinoco, the German ethnographer Theodor Koch-Grünberg, is the description of his journey in the years 1911 to 1913 in the Amazon. In this report, he narrates and describes his meeting with the Indians and exuberant Amazonian nature of the circum-Roraima region. Of course this meeting with the other it could not be described from European look and, despite the scientific discourse-naturalist, and perhaps by the very force of the new place, Koch-Grünberg ends up doing several concessions to the poetic, constructing images to Amazon (or what he supposes as Amazon) that reveal the influence of discourses of identity (and imaginary) over/of the Amazon that circulated in Europe and revealing discursive practice that result in the conflict between plural and singular dimension. Starting from the indicting paradigm proposed by Carlo Ginzburg, this paper searches to identify some vestiges of these images captured by the German traveler, emphasizing the various ways in which he recounts an Amazon from the viewpoint on the real, fictional and poetic.

O objetivo deste estudo é analisar o romance grego , Das Narrativas Verdadeiras, de Luciano de Samósata (125-180 d.C.), considerando os objetivos expostos pelo autor no proêmio do texto e sua composição por meio da alusão a outros gêneros literários. Apresenta-se também uma tradução do texto em português. / The aim of this study is to analyze the greek novel , True Histories, by Lucian of Samosata (circa 125-180 AD), regarding the aims exposed by the author in the prologue of the text, as well as its composition made by alluding to other literary genres. A Portuguese translation of the novel is also provided.

Esta dissertação estuda o conjunto de livros de viagens de Erico Verissimo (Gato preto em campo de neve, A volta do gato preto, México e Israel em abril) e propõe uma introdução à análise do gênero da literatura de viagem brasileira, reconstituindo a trajetória desse narrador em uma perspectiva crítica que busca estabelecer uma relação entre as rotas do viajante e os rumos do escritor. Essa abordagem permite interpretar os diferentes perfis do mesmo narrador e verifica como o estudo da literatura de viagem pode ser levado a uma revisão a partir de seu relevante papel histórico, político e social. / This dissertation looks into the set of travel books by Erico Verissimo (Gato preto em campo de neve, A volta do gato preto, México e Israel em abril) and proposes an introduction to the analysis of the Brazilian travel literature gender, reconstructing the story of this narrator from a critical perspective which tries to establish a relation between the traveler and the writers route. This approach allows an interpretation of the different profiles of the same narrator and sees how the study of travel literature can be taken to a review from its relevant historic, political and social role.

Esta dissertação investiga fragmentos de quatro livros escritos a partir do momento em que o Brasil foi encontrado por colonizadores e propõe uma reflexão da narrativa quinhentista produzida sobre o país por portugueses e franceses como literatura de viagem, analisando a questão do olhar do narrador viajante pela tentativa intencional de representação do que foi \"achado\". Essa abordagem permite repensar os diferentes perfis narrativos e rediscutir a questão textual que extrapola o campo da informação sobre a terra e alcança a fronteira da representação ficcional. / This dissertation looks into excerpts of four colonial journals written after Brazil has been encountered and proposes a reflection on the narratives produced by Portuguese and French voyagers, by analyzing the topic of the narrator\'s own words while intentionally aiming to represent the country itself from the XVI century on. This investigation proposes to rethink the different profiles and sights of the narrators and texts which can not merely be understood as documents of information about the new land, however a means of reaching the border of the fictional representation in the field of literature of travel.

Este trabalho propõe uma leitura da obra ficcional de José Veríssimo (1857-1916) e Inglês de Sousa (1853-1918), especificamente, dos livros Cenas da Vida Amazônica (1886) e Contos Amazônicos (1893), que têm em comum a tomada ficcional do baixo Amazonas. Entendemos que o relato de viagem composto por expedicionários estrangeiros acarretou empréstimo estético e discursivo à narrativa amazônica, como os relatos produzidos por cientistas, por meio dos quais se vinculou o embate civilização e barbárie, o redescobrimento da paisagem amazônica e suas lendas. Além de uma análise mais geral dessas narrativas, traçando pontos de correlação com o relato de viagem, para Cenas da Vida Amazônica foi determinante o estudo da Revista Amazônica (1883-1884), no qual se pode verificar a correlação entre ficção e não-ficção, literatura e história, mito e ciência caminhando lado a lado, resultando nas características formais de O crime do tapuio, para Contos Amazônicos foi esclarecedor alguns texto de sua recepção, na medida em que se verificou uma crítica mais favorável às narrativas declaradas históricas, deixando em segundo plano as narrativas atreladas ao imaginário popular, como ficou renegado O gado do Valha-me-Deus, ainda que, alcançasse como outros textos em Contos Amazônicos uma forma mais refinada do gênero conto. / This work proposes a reading of the fictional work of José Veríssimo (1857-1916) and the Inglês de Sousa (1853-1918), specifically from the books Scenes of Amazonian Life (1886) and Amazonian Tales (1893) fiction of the Lower Amazon. We understand that the travel account made up of foreign expeditionary brought an aesthetic and discursive loan to the Amazonian narrative, such as the reports produced by scientists, through which civilization and barbarism was linked, the rediscovery of the Amazonian landscape and its legends. In addition to a more general analysis of these narratives, tracing correlation points with the travel account, for the Amazonian Life Scenes was determinant the study of the Amazon Magazine (1883-1884), in which the correlation between fiction and non-fiction can be verified , literature and history, myth and science walking side by side, resulting in the formal characteristics of \"The crime of tapuio\", for Amazonian Tales was illuminating some text of its reception, in the measure that a criticism was verified more favorable to the narratives declared historical , leaving in the background the narratives linked to the popular imagination, as was denied \"The cattle of Good damn it\", although, as other texts in Amazonian Tales reached a more refined form of the genre.

Essa dissertação analisa alguns aspectos da narrativa de viagem Life in Brazil: or, a journal of a visit to the land of the cocoa and the palm, escrita pelo inglês radicado no Estados Unidos Thomas Ewbank (1792-1870), com base em sua viagem ao Rio de Janeiro em 1846. Impresso nos Estados Unidos e na Inglaterra em 1856, e no Brasil, somente em 1973, o livro e os textos publicados em revistas importantes do período alcançaram um público amplo. O relato mostra-se impregnado das concepções de mundo relacionadas ao campo da Etnologia, no qual se discutis a \"origem do home\" e o \"lugar de determinadas raças em seus respectivos ambientes geográficos\". Nesta pesquisa, demonstro e discuto a influência dessas concepções na escrita do relato, implicando em construções de imagens e representações de um Brasil que estaria condenado a um desenvolvimento lento e sempre inferior em relação ao da Euorpa e dos Estados Unidos / This research examines some aspects of the travel narrative: Life in Brazil: or, a journal of a visit to the land of the cocoa and the palm, written by the Englishman settled in United States Thomas Ewbank (1792-1870), since a journey to Rio de Janeiro in 1846. Printed in the United States and England in 1856 and in Brazil only in 1973, the book and the texts published in leading magazines of the period, reached a widw audience. The report shows up steeped in the world concepts related to the field of Ethnology, which discussed the \"Origin of Man\" and \"place of certain breeds in their respective geografic environments\". In this research, demonstrate and discuss the influence of theses concepts in writing the report, resulting in construction of images and representations of a Brazil that would be condemned to a slow development and always lower compared to Europe and the United States.
