Estetik och biologi : Hur fungerar integreringen i grunskolans tidigare år / Aesthetics and biology : How does the integration function in the earlier years of school?

Didriksson, Sandra January 2007 (has links)

/
Abstract

I have in my study investigated if teachers in the earlier years of school use integration of the aesthetics subjects picture and music in their sciences- and biology tutoring. The delimitation to picture and music predicate in the non-complication with the integration. Litterateur studies in the chosen subject have contributed to a deeper knowledge about the aesthetic subjects in combination with the school. I have interviewed six teachers that are working in lower school and in intermediary school. There has been shone that the teachers competence and personal views about picture and music influenced the choice of integration ore not. The pedagogues attitude to picture and music vary, but the investigation gave a lucidly answer as almost none of the teachers integrated the aesthetic subjects in there tutoring. The pedagogues’ lack of interest and/ore competence appears to be the reason to this. This can cause that the children not gets the opportunity to envelop different ways to express theme serfs and consequently not gets the opportunity to put across there thoughts in the way that are most adapt for the individual.

Multidrug sedation for dental procedures in children younger than eight.

Bester, E J January 2005 (has links)

In this case study research project I have determined that multidrug sedation in children younger than eight years are possible.
Conscious sedation [or sedation where verbal contact with the patient is possible] can be used successfully to decrease anxiety and fear for unpleasant experiences, like dental procedures.

Behaviour therapy in conjunction with one or more drugs can be used to depress the central nervous system in order to decrease the patient&rsquo / s awareness of unpleasant stimuli. This enables treatment to be carried out without patient interference. Extensive literature surveys were done to determine the ideal drugs as well as the ideal route for conscious sedation in dental treatment for children. In this study project drugs like midazolam, propofol, alfentanyl and ketamine were titrated intravenously to achieve conscious sedation.

Iliadou Pettersson, Anastasia, Stiller, Olga January 2010 (has links)
Background: Among all people suffering from stroke, a fifth part is younger than 65 and 5% are younger than 55 years. After a stroke the rehabilitation efforts are often considerable. According to several studies and reports of people of working age suffering from stroke, show that less than half return to gainful employment. Aim: Young people with stroke may find that their needs are not met regarding the rehabilitation and return to work. Objective: To identify the factors that influence young stroke patients return to work. Methods: A literature review, in which five quantitative and six qualitative studies reviewed. Meleis‟ Transition Theory is used as a nursing perspective. Results: To manage P-ADL is not decisive for returning to work. Deteriorated concentration and chronic fatigue was found in all studies. Social factors that influence return to work are: assistance from the workplace, colleagues, family and friends. The feeling of having to take early retirement affects life and return to work. Also education and the profession of the stroke patient affect. Conclusion: Young stroke patients need age-appropriate rehabilitation and direct information. Health professionals need to meet and recognize that young stroke patients may have other needs. Women and men are also quite different requirements for their rehabilitation.

Prokofjev, Igor 20 June 2014 (has links)
Objektas: jaunesnio mokyklinio amžiaus vaikų hiperaktyvumo ir fizinio pajėgumo sąsajos. Tikslas: Įvertinti jaunesnio mokyklinio amžiaus vaikų hiperaktyvumo ir fizinio pajėgumo sąsajas. Uždaviniai: 1. Įvertinti jaunesnio mokyklinio amžiaus vaikų (11-12 metų) hiperaktyvumo simptomus. 2. Įvertinti jaunesnio mokyklinio amžiaus vaikų (11-12 metų) fizinio pajėgumo rodiklius. 3. [toliau žr. visą tekstą] / Reserach object: correlation between hyperactivity and physical fitness of younger school age children Research problem: adolescents are more susceptible to environmental chantes due to their rapid physiological changes of the body, unformed psychological and social maturity. Research aim: to evaluate correlation between hyperactivity and physical fitness of younger school age childrens. Tasks: 1. To rate younger school age (11-12 years old) children hyperactivity symptoms. 2. To rate younger school age (11-12 years old) children physical fitness indexes. 3. To establish correlation between hyperactivity and physical fitness of younger school age children. Results: one of the hyperactivity symptoms – restlessness, inability to stay quiet for a longer time – typical for 23.5 perc. of girls and 14.3 perc. of boys (p>0.05). A large part of respondents - 70.6 proc. of girls and 71.4 proc. boys denied that they were angry or demonstrative (p>0.05). 57.1 proc. of the boys were quickly distracted. Goals:The goal of the thesis is to teach young children (6-9 years old) breaststroke swimming style by usage a dolphin wave. Methods:The thesis is mainly descriptive multi-case study. We used standardized and even non- standardized methods. The teaching method had been applied to a group of six children (6-9 years old) and analyzed by the diploma thesis author after its application. In the same time we teach another group of six children by standard breatststroke didactics method, so we were able to compare both methods. Results:The application of dolphin wave method into didactic of breaststroke swimming style has advantages and even disadvantages. The advantage is mainly freedom of movement, so children can use their creativity and sence to find the optimal movement. On the other hand the freedom is also disadvantage, since it can cause a little chaos at the beginning of the training. The successfulness of both methods was same. In both groups four children learnt the breaststroke and two did not. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
