The aim of the Master Thesis is to identify the proportion of authoritarian personality of future social workers. In line with the objective of the work, the research question has been formulated in the following way: On what factors does the proportion of the authoritarian personalities of future social workers depend? Based on the research question the following hypothesis has been determined: Students of the programme Social Work in Public Administration are more authoritarian than the students of the programme Rehabilitation Psychosocial Care of Handicapped Children, Adults and the Seniors. Students of part-time studies are more authoritarian than students of programme Rehabilitation Psychosocial Care of Handicapped Children, Adults and the Seniors. With the increasing age, the proportion of authoritarianism grows. The quantitative research strategy, which was implemented using the questionnaire method through a standardized questionnaire, was selected to achieve the goal. The questioned team consisted of future social workers, namely students of Faculty of Health and Social Sciences in České Budějovice programme Social Work in Public Administration and Rehabilitation Psychosocial Care for Children, Adults and Seniors. Translation of F-scale was taken from the publication of T. W. Adorno. Data analysis were evaluated using descriptive statistics in MS Excel and hypothesis testing was performed in the SPSS statistical program. The research shows that in the first hypothesis statistically significant relationship has been captured in the properties of conventionalisms, authoritarian submission, authoritarian aggression, anti-intraception, power and toughness, destructiveness, projectivity and sexuality. In the second hypothesis, it was tested whether the students studying part-time are more authoritarian than students of full-time studies. A significant relationship was noted in attributes of subordination and authoritarian aggression. In the third hypothesis, it was demonstrated that a statistically significant relationship was detected in the attributes of subordination, authoritarian aggression, and superstition. The outputs of the Master Thesis research can be provided as a feedback for students or social workers. The results could be of interest to the students of the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. Authoritarian personality has not yet been processed for social workers.

O presente estudo pretende sob um ângulo que nos sugere ainda insuficientemente considerado, devido ao vasto campo de estudos que permitem as referidas fontes documentais analisar a adaptação hagiográfica de uma idealizada identidade episcopal construída em favor dos bispos gauleses do último quarto do sexto século, que pretendiam utilizar as imagens dos santos predecessores que ocuparam as suas respectivas sés, para afirmarem e/ou construírem sua autoridade religiosa e política frente à sua comunidade de fiéis e às autoridades públicas do reino franco. / Venantius Fortunatus is well represented in bibliographical collections, but most literature concentrates on his poetic production. As a consequence, little attention has been paid to his hagiographyc writings in prose. This work intends to analyse –even if it is from a still insufficiently developed perspective, due to the vast array of studies that these documental sources may prompt-- how Gaulish bishops' of the last quarter of the sixth century built an idealized Episcopal identity through the images of those saints who had previously occupied their respective cathedrals. This was done in order to build up and/or strengthen their religious and political authority before their community of faithful and the public authorities of the Frankish kingdom.

How clergy experience preparing to move jobs in the Church of EnglandBlackie, Christine January 2014 (has links)
This research project sought to find out more about how clergy experience preparing to move jobs in the Church of England. This is important and timely for several reasons. First, there has been limited theoretical and empirical attention paid to the process and tasks of preparing for a career transition. Second, clergy are contemplating job moves in a dynamic institutional context which is affecting how they perceive and construct their future career trajectory. Third, I set out to investigate clergy as members of a workforce facing some of the same issues and concerns as those in other occupations rather than viewing them as being in any way special by virtue of their ordained status. The study is framed by career theories which attend to transition, turnover and the determinants and antecedents of career and job mobility. A total of 31 clergy from three Church of England dioceses were interviewed as part of a qualitative study. A social constructivist method was adopted and thematic analysis applied to the data with attention being paid to the reflexive research process. The findings indicate that a religious context is an important site for enhancing our understanding of the complex relationship between individual agency, structural constraints and the antecedents to preparing to move jobs. Following structural changes to how clergy are recruited, selected and appointed to posts participants are found to be experiencing cognitive dissonance as they anticipate a move. This is explained by a shift in the delegation of authority to individual clergy and the erosion of strategic ambiguity as a mode of communication between different parties. These are changes which undermine value systems rooted in history, tradition, custom and practice and calling which clergy rate highly. The study identifies facets of calling and vocation which clergy correlate with preparing to move jobs rather than an original call to ministry.

O presente trabalho dissertativo se propõe à análise da apreciação das tutelas de urgência em sede de arbitragem, nas fases antecedente e incidental. Para tanto, busca-se o estudo da competência do árbitro para decidir as medidas cautelares e antecipatórias, antes e depois de instalado o processo arbitral, à luz da Lei de Arbitragem, do Código de Processo Civil atual, dos regulamentos das Câmaras Arbitrais, do resultado da pesquisa realizada entre a Escola de Direito de São Paulo da Fundação Getúlio Vargas e o Comitê Brasileiro de Arbitragem, da doutrina, da jurisprudência e do Projeto de Reforma do Código de Processo Civil. Embora identificadas interpretações divergentes na doutrina acerca do poder do árbitro de conceder e julgar as medidas de urgência, em razão da previsão do Art. 22, 4 da Lei n 9.307/96, observa-se o entendimento majoritário de que o árbitro detém o referido poder, ante a autonomia da vontade das partes. Quanto às cautelares pré-arbitrais, encontra-se o judiciário revestido do poder de decisão, enquanto não seja instaurado o processo arbitral, exceto quando as partes atribuam ao árbitro a decisão, através de previsão na Convenção Arbitral ou no Regulamento da Câmara escolhida por elas para administrar o processo arbitral. Evidencia-se na doutrina, bem como na jurisprudência, o entendimento acerca da soberania do árbitro para manter ou rejeitar as cautelares apreciadas judicialmente, em sede de sentença arbitral. Em razão da ausência do poder coercitivo do árbitro, identifica-se a cooperação do judiciário para dar cumprimento às decisões arbitrais acautelatórias ou antecipatórias, não cumpridas voluntariamente pelas partes, a fim de assegurar a efetividade da tutela jurisdicional. / This dissertative paper proposes the analysis of the appreciation of the guardianships of urgency in seat of the arbitration, in the preceding and incidental phases. With this goal, the paper seeks to study the competence of the arbitrator to decide the precautionary and anticipatory measures, before and after the installation of the arbitral proceedings, in light of the Arbitration Act, of the current Civil Procedure Code, of the regulations from the Arbitration Chambers, of the result of the research undertaken between the Law School of São Paulo from the Getúlio Vargas Fundation and the Brazilian Arbitration Committee, of the doctrine, the jurisprudence and of the Reform Project of the Civil Procedure Code. Although divergent interpretations were identified in the doctrine about the power of the arbitrator to grant and judge the emergency measures, due to the prevision of Article 22, 4 of Law No. 9.307/96, there is the prevailing understanding that the arbitrator holds the referred power against the autonomy of the parties. Regarding the pre-arbitration precautionaries, the judiciary is vested with the power of decision, while not initiated the arbitration proceedings, except when the parties impute the arbitrator with the decision, through the prevision in the Arbitral Convention or in the Arbitration Rules of the Chamber chosen by them to administer the arbitration. It is evident in the doctrine, as well as in the jurisprudence, the understanding about the sovereignty of the arbitrator to keep or reject judicially the precautionary measures considered, in seat of the arbitration award. Due to the absence of coercive power of the arbitrator, it is identified the cooperation of the judiciary to comply with precautionary and anticipatory arbitration awards, not met voluntarily by the parties, to ensure the effectiveness of the jurisdictional protection.

Previous issue date: 2017-12-12 / Este estudo se desenvolveu a partir de uma abordagem multirreferencial para investigar a autoridade reconhecida no vínculo parental e sua relação com o processo de construção da adaptação ativa à realidade do adolescente. O repertório teórico-metodológico de base utilizado foi a Psicologia Social de Enrique Pichon-Rivière e a pesquisa foi desenvolvida com 58 adolescentes, alunos do 8º. Ano de um Colégio particular de Salvador/BA e 10 pais e/ou responsáveis destes. O estudo realizou-se em três etapas: na primeira foram desenvolvidos 15 encontros nos quais foi utilizada a metodologia do grupo operativo com 18 adolescentes pertencentes a uma das turmas do 8º Ano; na segunda o questionário foi aplicado em sala de aula com os 58 adolescentes das três turmas do 8º Ano, e, na terceira, foram efetuadas entrevistas abertas com os pais e/ou responsáveis por estes adolescentes. A análise dos dados se levou a cabo através do Esquema Conceitual Referencial e Operativo (ECRO) e da Análise de conteúdo, considerando o pressuposto básico de que a adaptação ativa à realidade é um processo e, portanto, se constrói através do vínculo parental e das relações sociais, através da comunicação e da aprendizagem de algumas aptidões ou competências que foram adotadas como: capacidade de diálogo e comunicação; capacidade de se colocar no lugar do outro; tolerância à frustração; capacidade de resolução de conflitos e capacidade de ajustar-se à realidade de modo crítico. Através do confronto dos modelos e das práticas educativas parentais com as aptidões e/ou competências já referidas, observadas nos adolescentes, foi possível chegar a algumas considerações gerais. Quando há prevalência do poder e, portanto, do autoritarismo como característica básica dos modelos educativos parentais, não se criam as condições para a construção da adaptação ativa à realidade dos filhos adolescentes. Por outro lado, se a autoridade parental é reconhecida através de um modelo democrático, participativo e cooperativo, abrem-se os caminhos para a construção desta adaptação. Este estudo evidenciou, ainda, a necessidade de mais pesquisas relacionadas ao tema, considerando a sua complexidade e a sua relevância para os âmbitos familiar e social. / This study was developed from a multireferential approach to investigate the authority recognized in the parental relationship and its relation with the process of construction of the active adaptation to the reality of the adolescent. The theoretical-methodological repertoire perspective used was the Social Psychology (Psicologia Social) of Enrique Pichon-Rivière and so, the research was developed with 58 teenagers, 8th graders.¬ Period of a private school from Salvador/BA and 10 parents and/or guardians of these students. The study was carried out in three steps: in the first, 15 meetings were developed in which the methodology of the operative group was used with 18 adolescents belonging to one of the groups from the 8th grade. In the second step, the questionnaire was applied in the classroom with the 58 teenagers of the three classes from the 8th grade. So, open interviews were conducted with parents and/or guardians of these adolescents as part of the third step. The data analysis was carried out through the CSRO (Conceptual Schema Reference and Operation) and the analysis of content, considering the basic assumption that the active adaptation to the reality is a process and, therefore, It is built through the parental bond and social relations, through the communication and learning of some skills or competences that have been adopted as variables, such as: dialogue and communication capacity, ability to put yourself in someone's shoes, tolerance to frustration, ability to resolve conflicts and be able to adjust yourself to the reality in a critical way. Through the confrontation of the models and the parental educational practices with the skills and/or competences that have already been mentioned before, observed in the adolescents, it was possible to reach some final considerations. When there is a prevalence of power and therefore, of the authoritarianism as the basic characteristic of parental educational models, the conditions for the construction of the active adaptation to the reality of the adolescent children are not created. On the other hand, if parental authority is recognized through a democratic, participatory and cooperative model, the paths for the construction of this adaptation become possible. This study also highlighted the need for more researches related to the theme considering its complexity and its relevance to the family and social spheres.

Behovet av revision mot ekonomisk brottslighet : En kvalitativ studie utifrån ett myndighetsperspektiv / The need for audit against economic crime : A qualitative study based on an authority perspectiveCarlson, Elin, Österberg, Elin January 2018 (has links)
Den ekonomiska brottsligheten är ett samhällsproblem då det inte endast drabbar enskilda individer utan hela samhället och kostar dessutom staten stora summor pengar varje år. Problemet med ekonomiska brott är att de ofta begås i näringsverksamheter. Ett behov av en revisor har därför växt fram för att en person ska ha tillgång till de miljöer där brotten begås, samt för att samhällets kontrollsystem mot ekonomisk brottslighet är bristfällig. Ekobrottsmyndigheten och Skatteverket är två aktörer inom samhället som arbetar med att förebygga ekonomisk brottslighet och de använder granskade rapporter i sitt arbete. En förklaring till varför eller på vilket sätt myndigheterna har behov av revision framgår inte i tidigare studier. Revisorns förmåga att upptäcka och anmäla brott har dessutom ifrågasatts. Syftet med studien är därför att undersöka myndigheternas upplevda behov av revision i det förebyggande arbetet mot ekonomisk brottslighet samt vilka förväntningar som ställs på revisorn utifrån ett myndighetsperspektiv. Genom åtta kvalitativa intervjuer med respondenter av olika befattningar från respektive myndighet kunde en rättvisande bild av deras upplevda behov tolkas. Från intervjuerna framkommer det att myndigheterna upplever ett indirekt direkt behov av revision. Myndigheterna upplever ett behov av en person nära företaget som kan upptäcka sådant som de själva inte har möjlighet till, vilket innebär att revisorn har en preventiv effekt mot ekonomisk brottslighet. Vidare finns ett behov av ett korrekt underlag för beskattning vilket en revisor upplevs kunna försäkra genom sin oberoende granskning. Dessutom upplever respondenterna att ett korrekt underlag i sin tur bidrar till att kvaliteten på de finansiella rapporterna stärks. Utifrån myndigheternas perspektiv finns vissa förväntningar på att revisorn ska ha en mer omfattande roll, men samtidigt har myndigheterna en förståelse för revisionens begränsningar. / Economic crime is a problem for society as it affects not the individual, but the society as a whole, which also cost the government a large sum of money each year. The problem with economic crime is that it often occurs in business environments. Therefore, a need for audit has been developed, which gives access to environments where these crimes are committed and the society’s control systems are weak. The Swedish Economic Crime Authority and the Swedish Tax Agency are two actors in society that are working to prevent economic crime and they are using audited reports in their work. However, previous studies are lacking an explanation to why, and in what way authorities are in need of audited reports. Furthermore the auditor’s ability to detect and report crime has also been questioned in previous studies. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the authorities' perceived need for audit in the preventive work against economic crime, and to investigate what expectations are being placed on the auditor based on an authority perspective. Through eight qualitative interviews with people with different job descriptions from the two authorities, an interpretation of their perceived needs could be made. Based on these interviews, it appears that there is no direct need for auditing, but the authorities experience an indirect need for audited reports. The authorities are experiencing the need for a person near the company to discover what the authorities do not have the ability to find, which mean that the auditor has a preventive effect on economic crime. Furthermore, there is a need for correct information, which the auditor is able to provide through an independent audit. In addition, the respondents are experiencing that correct information helps strengthen the quality of the financial statements. From the authorities perspective, there are some expectations on the auditor to have a more extensive role. But at the same time, the authorities have an understanding for the limitations of the audit.

Nosso propósito foi investigar a existência de processos participativos dos cidadãos, por meio de seus representantes e dos vários segmentos da sociedade que compõe o CME. A escolha do Conselho Municipal de Educação deve-se à importância que esse órgão assumiu por ser um órgão normativo, deliberativo, fiscalizador, mobilizador e representativo que assessora o executivo municipal no desenvolvimento de políticas públicas. Nosso objeto de estudo são as informações coletadas nas entrevistas dos membros do CME de São José do Rio Preto, os atores que representam lideranças das comunidades e/ou os grupos organizados do município; os quais norteiam a elaboração de políticas públicas educacionais municipais e possuem a possibilidade real de participar e/ou fomentar a participação, de influir e/ou decidir, de ampliar os processos democráticos, na implementação de políticas públicas educacionais desencadeadas nos processos políticos a partir do conselho. Esta dissertação insere-se na modalidade de pesquisa de campo, de natureza qualitativa, tem como recurso metodológico o uso de diferentes ferramentas metodológicas para a coleta de dados, tais como revisão bibliográfica, análise da legislação produzida pelo CME e coleta de informações dos depoentes por meio de entrevista, a qual se fundamentou em um questionário semiestruturado. Our goal was to investigate the existence of citizens' participative processes concerning their representatives as well as the several segments of society which are part of the CME. The choice of the Municipal Council of Education (CME - Conselho Municipal de Educação) is due to the importance that this institution has been given due to the fact that it is a normative, deliberative, invigilating, mobilizing and representative institution which is responsible for assisting the municipal executive in the development of public policies. O objetivo do presente trabalho é demonstrar a possibilidade de atuação dos pais afins nas famílias reconstituídas, assim entendidas como aquelas formadas em segundas núpcias, em que pelo menos um dos cônjuges ou companheiro possui filhos de uma união anterior, de forma complementar e subsidiária aos pais biológicos, com vista a integrar a parentalidade, visando ao melhor interesse da criança e do adolescente à luz da Constituição Federal, do Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente e do Código Civil. Com base no princípio do valor jurídico do afeto e no instituto da paternidade socioafetiva, busca-se evidenciar a importância do exercício da autoridade parental, de forma complementar, pelos pais afins nos lares reconstituídos. A convivência, os cuidados diários, a dedicação fazem nascer entre os integrantes das famílias reconstituídas vínculos de afetividade, que se revelam importantes e relevantes para o pleno desenvolvimento do menor. E apenas o pleno exercício da autoridade parental nas famílias reconstituídas permitirá uma adequada estruturação familiar, com atribuição de funções definidas aos membros integrantes desta complexa estrutura familiar, onde os papéis não são definidos e a legislação em nada orienta o comportamento, especialmente, dos pais afins. Para esta plena integração e bom funcionamento da estrutura familiar reconstituída, tendo em vista o melhor interesse do menor, objetiva-se demonstrar a necessidade de legitimação da conduta dos pais afins, no âmbito da família, hoje, vedada pelo ordenamento jurídico brasileiro. / The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the possibility of actions of step parents in reconstituted families, those formed in remarriages in which at least one spouse or partner has children from a previous union, in a complementary and subsidiary way to biological parents with the purpose to integrate parenthood, aiming for the best interests of children and adolescents in the light of the Federal Constitution, the Statute of Children and Adolescents and the Civil Code. Based on the principle of the legal value of affection and the institute of socio-affective parenthood, it is sought to highlight the importance of the exercise of parental authority, as complementary, by the step parents in the rebuilt homes. Coexistence, the daily care and dedication create among the members of reconstituted families ties of affection which are important and relevant to the full development of the child. Only the full exercise of parental authority in reconstituted families will allow a proper family structuring, with attribution of tasks to members of this complex family structure, in which nowadays roles are not defined and the legislation does nothing to guide behavior, especially of step parentes. For this full integration and smooth functioning of the reconstituted family structure, in view of the best interests of the child, the objective is to demonstrate the need to legitimize the conduct of the step parentes in the family, today prohibited under Brazilian law.

A família é a base da sociedade, conforme expressa disposição contida na Constituição Federal de 1988, que lhe assegura especial proteção do Estado. É o núcleo familiar a menor e mais íntima célula social, mas também o mais importante agrupamento de pessoas que têm entre si uma profunda relação afetiva e de solidariedade. Tão importantes são os laços de afetividade que unem os familiares que a lei lhes atribui valor e eficácia jurídica. Dentro do núcleo familiar, as crianças e adolescentes que contam com menos de 18 anos de idade, são consideradas mais vulneráveis e, por tal motivo, recebem proteção especial, ainda mais específica do Estado. A Constituição Federal lhes assegura vários direitos e garantias fundamentais, confirmados e reiterados no Código Civil, no Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente e, até mesmo em leis infraconstitucionais esparsas. É dever da família, da sociedade e do Estado assegurar à criança e ao adolescente, com absoluta prioridade os direitos fundamentais estabelecidos na Constituição Federal. O Estado, por sua vez, diante da importância que os menores têm dentro da família e para nossa sociedade, impõe aos pais a autoridade familiar, delegando a eles a enorme responsabilidade de dirigir a criação e educação dos filhos, entre outras funções tão igualmente importantes. Entretanto, ao mesmo tempo que atribui a função da autoridade familiar aos pais, o Estado também lhes retira a liberdade de exercer tal autoridade com autonomia. A intervenção estatal no exercício da autoridade familiar é, por certo, legítima e devida, tendo em vista a segurança e o bem estar das crianças e dos adolescentes. Os abusos na direção da criação e educação dos filhos podem e devem ser coibidos pelo poder estatal, a quem incumbe cuidar da segurança de todos os indivíduos. A excessiva intervenção estatal, porém, é ilegítima, podendo gerar consequências desastrosas nas relações familiares e na criação dos filhos. Ao esvaziar a autoridade familiar o Estado torna mais difícil ainda a função de disciplinar e exigir obediência dos filhos. O Estado deve ser atuante e efetivamente intervir no exercício da autoridade familiar da maneira como faz atualmente, apenas para fiscalizar e coibir eventuais abusos, mas não deve retirar a autoridade dos pais, sob pena de não conseguir conter os abusos eventualmente cometidos pelos próprios menores, demasiadamente protegidos. O Projeto de lei n° 7672/2010, em trâmite na Câmara dos Deputados, que pretende alterar o Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente, para coibir a aplicação de castigos corporais ou de tratamento cruel ou degradante pelos pais na criação e educação dos filhos, conhecido como Lei da Palmada, é um exemplo da intervenção indevida do Estado nas relações familiares. A obrigatoriedade de matricular os filhos no ensino fundamental, submetendo-os à educação formal, impedindo que os próprios pais ofereçam a educação doméstica também é outro exemplo de intervenção estatal indevida. Deve-se buscar um equilíbrio para que os pais possam livremente criar e educar seus filhos sem abusos e que o Estado possa fiscalizar o exercício da função a eles atribuída, sem intervir diretamente na autoridade familiar. / Society is founded on families. In an explicit provision of the 1988 Constitution, the law ensures that the State safeguards families. While a family may be characterized as the smallest and most intimate social cell, it is also the most important gathering of people, sharing a deep and emotional relationship, as well as solidarity. These ties of affection that bond families together are so important that the law grants them value and legal efficacy. Within the family, children and adolescents who are under 18 years old are considered to be the most vulnerable and, therefore, receive special protection, secured by specific rules. The Federal Constitution thus ensures that various fundamental rights and guarantees are provided to them, something that is reaffirmed in the Civil Code, in the Statute of Children and Adolescents, and even in sparse legislation. It is the duty of the family, the society and the State to make sure that children and adolescents come first when it comes to the fundamental rights established in the Constitution. Taking into account the importance that children have within the family and within society, the State delegates \"family authority\" to parents, the enormous responsibility to guide the upbringing and education of children, among other functions as equally important. However, while assigning such role to parents, the State also withdraws them the freedom to exercise this authority with complete autonomy. Aiming at guaranteeing the safety and welfare of children and adolescents, government intervention in the exercise of family authority is thus legitimate and appropriate. Abuses carried out by parents while raising and educating their children can and should be restrained by the State, who is ultimately responsible for caring for the safety of all individuals. Excessive state intervention, however, is illegitimate, and can generate disastrous consequences for family relationships and parenting. When the government empties family authority, it may turn the task of disciplining children into something more difficult than it already is. It is our belief that the State must actively intervene in the exercise of family authority, monitoring and curbing abuses, but it must do so in a way that does not withdraw the authority of parents, or it will fail to control abuses eventually committed by children and adolescents themselves, overly protected. Draft Law No. 7672/2010, currently awaiting approval from the House of Representatives, seeks to amend the Statute of Children and Adolescents. If passed, the Statute would forbid parents to use any kind of punishment that may be deemed cruel or degrading treatment, while upbringing and educating their children. Widely known as the \"Spanking Statute\", this is a clear example of undue state intervention in family relationships. Another provision that we question here is the obligation to enroll children in elementary school, subjecting them to formal education, and preventing home schooling. We must seek balance so that parents may freely raise and educate their children. And while the State must be allowed to scrutinize the proper exercise of parenting, it must not do so in a way that directly affects and undermines family authority.

Nosso propósito foi investigar a existência de processos participativos dos cidadãos, por meio de seus representantes e dos vários segmentos da sociedade que compõe o CME. A escolha do Conselho Municipal de Educação deve-se à importância que esse órgão assumiu por ser um órgão normativo, deliberativo, fiscalizador, mobilizador e representativo que assessora o executivo municipal no desenvolvimento de políticas públicas. Nosso objeto de estudo são as informações coletadas nas entrevistas dos membros do CME de São José do Rio Preto, os atores que representam lideranças das comunidades e/ou os grupos organizados do município; os quais norteiam a elaboração de políticas públicas educacionais municipais e possuem a possibilidade real de participar e/ou fomentar a participação, de influir e/ou decidir, de ampliar os processos democráticos, na implementação de políticas públicas educacionais desencadeadas nos processos políticos a partir do conselho. Esta dissertação insere-se na modalidade de pesquisa de campo, de natureza qualitativa, tem como recurso metodológico o uso de diferentes ferramentas metodológicas para a coleta de dados, tais como revisão bibliográfica, análise da legislação produzida pelo CME e coleta de informações dos depoentes por meio de entrevista, a qual se fundamentou em um questionário semiestruturado. O período delimitado para esta pesquisa se deu a partir de 1996, com ênfase nos meses de janeiro de 2009 a setembro de 2010, o que compreende a gestão atual, ainda em curso. As análises das informações... / This paper has been aimed at analyzing the testimonies of members of São José do Rio Preto's Municipal Council of Education (CME - Conselho Municipal de Educação) in order to identify the notion of participation throughout its content, which has supposedly been present within political processes of his actors and/or dominant groups inside the Council. Our goal was to investigate the existence of citizens' participative processes concerning their representatives as well as the several segments of society which are part of the CME. The choice of the Municipal Council of Education (CME - Conselho Municipal de Educação) is due to the importance that this institution has been given due to the fact that it is a normative, deliberative, invigilating, mobilizing and representative institution which is responsible for assisting the municipal executive in the development of public policies. Our objects of study are the information assembled in the interviews with members of São José do Rio Preto's CME - Municipal Council of Education (Conselho Municipal de Educação), actors who represent communities' leadership and/or organized city groups which guide the development of public educational policies and who are authentically able to participate and/or foster the participation, to influence and/or decide, to broaden the democratic processes within the implementation of public educational policies presents in the political processes from the Council. This research is classified as a qualitative field research, whose methodological resource is the usage of different methodological tools to gather information, such as bibliographical revision, analysis of CME legislation and data collection from interviewee deponents based on semi-structured questionnaires.
