Såld spannmål av kyrkotionden : Priser i Östergötland under Sveriges stormaktstid / Corn sold from church tithes. Prices in Östergötland during Sweden´s period as a great power

The thesis presents annual price series for rye and barley in Östergötland during the period 1592-1735. Prices of wheat, oats, animal products, building materials, iron, nails, horse shoes and horse shoe nails from about the mid-17th century up to 1735 are also presented and analysed. New data has been excerpted from four hospitals and about fifty parishes in Östergötland. Prices from other provinces have also been excerpted for the study. This nes data is compared to already published prices from Sweden´s capital and from several provinces in central parts of the western national region of Sweden of that time. This area constituted Sweden´s core region. By linking the studies results to previous research, a description is made of the price developments for rye, butter and tallow up to 1775, that is, during Sweden´s period of great power and age of freedom. A principal result for the roughly 150 years primarily covered by the thesis is that it was chiefly the prices of rye and barley, the most important food at the time, that fluctuated in twelve cycles. Periodically there were large fluctuatons. The price cycles for corn (half rye, half barley) had an average amplitude of somewhat more than 100 % and a duration of 11 years on average. The prices were on average higher further north in the country. The causes of the price fluctuations are complex. During the major part of the period studied, Sweden was at war or in armistice period, which occupied a large part of the male population. Politically, increasingly great power was gradually concentrated to the king and autocracy was introduced, culminating at the end of Charles XII´s regency. The peasantry was burdened by high taxes and other onuses. After the middle of the 17th century the country was no longer self-subsistent but largely dependent on corn import. The production of foddstuffs decreased, partly through a smaller part of the country´s resources beeing used for production, and partly due to bad harvests. Recurrent epidemics reduced the population even up to the early 18th century.

En jämförelse av patienters upplevelser av delaktighet, livstillfredsställelse, arbetssituation och sjukvårdskonsumtion efter Strokescreening respektive traditionell vård

Syftet med föreliggande studie var att med avseende på upplevelser av delaktighet och livstillfedsställelse samt arbetssituation och sjukvårdskonsumtion jämföra två grupper som deltagit respektive inte deltagit i ett Strokescreeningprogram. En strukturerad enkät skickades ut till konsekutivt, retroaktivt utvalda personer. Det inkomna resultatet analyserades med hjälp av Chi2-test, Mann Whitney test, T-test, linjär regressionsanalys och multivariat logistisk regressionsanalys. Några signifikanta skillnader mellan grupperna kunde inte påvisas även om vissa tendenser noterades. Gruppen som deltagit i Strokescreeningprogrammet upplevde en mindre delaktighet i den personliga vården än gruppen som ej deltagit i Strokescreeningprogrammet. De strokedrabbade upplevde en signifikant lägre livstillfredsställelse än en referensgrupp bestående av en normalpopulation svenskar. Det fanns en markant skillnad mellan grupperna gällande sysselsättning före strokeinsjuknandet. Vid tillfället för studien var det en högre procent ur gruppen som deltagit i Strokescreeningprogrammet som återgått till arbete. Flera av deltagarna i gruppen som inte deltagit i Strokescreeningprogrammet hade en regelbunden, återkommande kontakt med primärvården. Föreliggande studies resultat väckte en del frågor gällande nyttan med Strokescreeningprogrammet i relation till kostnaden. Eftersom metoden att göra en enkätstudie hade en del svagheter både genom ett relativt högt bortfall och fråga om huruvida frågorna varit adekvata vore en uppföljande studie med intervjuer av studiens deltagare högst intressant. Intressant vore även en undersökning om frekvens av återinsjuknande i stroke i respektive grupp för att se om Strokescreeningprogrammet haft en sekundärpreventiv effekt. / The aim of this study was that, with focus on experiences of participation and life satisfaction, work situation and consumtion of non institutional care, compare two groups that had participated versus not participated in a stroke program for Strokescreening. A questionnaire was sent retrospective to a consequetive group of people. The results were analyzed with Chi2-test, Mann Whitney-test, T-test, linear regression analyzes and multiple logistic analyze. No significant differences could be shown between the groups even though some tendences were noted. The group who participated in the Strokescreening program experienced less participation in personal care than the group who did not participate. The strokepatients that participated in this study experienced a significant lower level of life satisfaction than a reference group of a normal population of Swedes. There was a prominent difference between the groups about occupation before the stroke. In time of this study there where some higher percentes in the group who participated in the Strokescreening program that had returned to work. Several of the participants in the group that had not participated in the Strokescreening program had a regulary contact with the non institutional care. The results of the present study arouse some questions about the benefit with the Strokescreening program related to the expences. The method of a questionnairy study had some weekness, both in a relatively high level of reduction of participants and a question about the relevace of the questions asked. Therefore, it would be of great interest to make an interview study of this population. It would also be of great interest to examin if there are any differences in the frequency of how many of the participants who gets another stroke in respective group. The purpose of that would be to see if the Strokescreening program has any secondary preventive effect.

Hur man genom design kan skapa ett hållbart beteende hos läkemdelskonsumenter / How design can be used to create sustainable behaviour among pharmaceutical consumers

A large amount of pharmaceuticals are discarded by the public every year and a lot are flushed down the drain or disposed of in household garbage. This leads to negative effects on the environment, animals and humans. The negative effects on the environment are also the result of the pharmaceutical substances that are flushed out in manufacturing. The purpose of the study is to investigate how product designers can improve the handling of pharmaceutcals at an individual level in order to reduce the amount of disarded pharmaceuticals in the long run. The aim is also to investigate how product designers can create a more sustainable consumer society. The study focuses on pharmaceutical consumers’ relation to pharmaceuticals and what their behavior regarding purchasing, use and disposal looks like. The main target group is people with pharmaceutical prescription and the secondary target group are people who buys pharmaceuticals occasionally. By using theories about sustainable behaviour and methods in Design for Sustainable Behaviour, the aim is to understand why the individual’s pharmaceutical consumption is like this and how to make a positive change in the behaviour.    The methods used are user studies and workshop, tehese are followed by function analysis, idea generation and concept development to develop a design proposal.  It became clear during the course of the study that the problem is based on ignorance of the effects of pharmaceuticals and that it is important to shed light on what resources are required to research and produce prharmaceuticals. The final design proposal is an information station that informs pharmaceutical consumers about how their actions affect human health and the environment, to make them think about their use of pharmaceuticals. The design proposal also gives pharmaceutical consumers the opportunity to choose their actions by providing them with information that makes it easier to make more sustainable decisions. / En stor mängd läkemedel kasseras varje år av allmänheten, mycket spolas även ut i avlopp eller slängs i hushållssoporna vilket leder till negativa effekter på miljö, djur och människor. De negativa effekterna på miljön är även resultatet av de läkemedelssubstanser som spolas ut i samband med tillverkning. Studiens syfte är att undersöka hur man som produktdesigner kan förbättra hanteringen av läkemedel på individnivå för att på sikt minska mängden kasserade läkemedel. Syftet är även att undersöka hur produktdesigners kan arbeta för att skapa ett mer hållbart konsumtionssamhälle. Studien fokuserar på läkemedelskonsumenters förhållande till läkemedel samt hur deras beteende kring inköp, användning och kassering ser ut. Den huvudsakliga målgruppen är personer med receptbelagda läkemedel och den sekundära målgruppen är personer som köper läkemedel ibland.   Med hjälp av teorier kring hållbart beteende och metoder inom Design för Hållbara Beteenden är målet att förstå varför individens läkemedelskonsumtion ser ut som den gör samt hur man kan arbeta för att skapa en positiv beteendeförändring.  Metoderna som används är användarstudie och workshop, dessa följs upp med funktionsanalys, idégenerering och konceptutveckling för att få fram ett designförslag.  Det framkom under studiens gång att problematiken grundar sig i okunskap kring läkemedels effekter samt att det är viktigt att belysa vilka resurser som krävs för att forska fram och producera läkemedel. Det slutliga designförslaget är en informationsstation som upplyser läkemedelskonsumenter om hur deras handlingar påverkar humanhälsan och miljön för att få dem att tänka efter kring sin läkemedelsanvändning. Med designförslaget ges läkemedelskonsumenter även möjligheten att välja sina handlingar genom att förse dem med information som gör det enklare att ta mer hållbara beslut.

Från ord till handling: bakom konsumenternas gröna fasad : En studie om gapet mellan attityd och handling inom den svenska klädindustrin.

The subject of sustainable development is growing in relevance, and never before has research on the subject been as essential. Research shows that the globalization of the clothing industry has a significant impact on both climate and society. Furthermore, consumers today demand sustainably produced products, and they are willing to pay more to support such companies. Despite this, research shows that there is a gap between consumers' expressed demand for sustainable alternatives and their purchasing behavior in favor of sustainable organizations . This gap is often referred to as the 'attitude-behaviour gap' (ABG), which refers to the gap between positive attitudes and consumer behavior. The purpose of this study is to explore the area described as the 'attitude-behaviour gap' between consumers' CSR requirements and purchasing behavior. Specifically, this phenomenon will be examined within the clothing industry with the help of the following questions: "Are Swedish consumers' sustainable attitudes transformed into purchasing behavior within the clothing industry?" if not; "Which factors possibly influence ABG in the Swedish clothing industry?". Method: The study has been based on a qualitative approach where interviews with consumers have been carried out. The interviews were conducted in a semi-structured manner and analyzed thematically based on an analysis model designed from previous research. Results: The study has confirmed that ABG also exists in Swedish consumers. The results show that negative CSR information damages the company's relationship with consumers and in many cases leads to a loss of customers. In contrast, positive CSR information is not as significant. For consumers to switch to sustainable consumption, certain core factors need to be met; first, the consumer needs to have sufficient information and a personal interest in CSR. The consumer's perception of price, the availability of sustainable alternatives and the attributes of the clothes are also central factors. In addition to this, peripheral factors can influence consumers' purchasing behavior. These factors have been explained as company image and credibility, peer pressure, and consumer familiarity. / Ämnet hållbar utveckling växer sig allt större i relevans och aldrig förr har forskning kring ämnet varit så väsentligt. Forskning visar på att globaliseringen av klädindustrin har en betydande påverkan på både klimat och samhälle. Vidare efterfrågar konsumenter idag hållbart producerade produkter och att de är villiga att betala mer för att stödja sådana företag. Trots detta så visar forskning att det finns ett glapp mellan konsumenters uttalade efterfrågan på hållbara alternativ och deras köpbeteende i förmån för hållbara organisationer. Detta gap benämns ofta som ‘attitude-behavior gap’ (ABG) som refererar till mellanrummet mellan de positiva attityderna och konsumenternas beteenden. Syftet med denna studie är att utforska området som beskrivits som ‘attitude-behavior gap’ mellan konsumenters CSR krav och köpbeteende. Specifikt kommer detta fenomenet att granskas inom klädindustrin med hjälp av följande frågeställningar:“Omvandlas svenska konsumenters hållbara attityder till köpbeteenden inom klädindustrin?” om inte; “Vilka faktorer påverkar eventuellt ABG i den svenska klädindustrin?”. Metod: Studien har utgått från ett kvalitativt tillvägagångssätt där intervjuer med konsumenter har genomförts. Intervjuerna genomfördes på ett semistrukturerat sätt och analyserades tematiskt baserat på en analysmodell som utformats från tidigare forskning. Resultat: Studien har bekräftat att ABG existerar även hos svenska konsumenter. Resultaten visar på att negativ CSR-information skadar företagets relation till konsumenterna och leder i många fall till en förlust av kunder. Däremot är inte positiv CSR-information lika betydande. För att konsumenterna ska övergå till hållbar konsumtion behöver vissa kärnfaktorer uppfyllas; dels behöver konsumenten ha tillräckligt med information och en personlig angelägenhet gentemot CSR. Centralt är även konsumentens prisuppfattning, de hållbara alternativens tillgänglighet och klädernas attribut. Utöver detta kan perifera faktorer påverka konsumenternas köpbeteenden. Dessa faktorer har förklarats som företagets image och trovärdighet, grupptryck, samt konsumentens familjaritet.

The mark to mediate of all this is, in fact, the defense and the consumer's protection, once this is final addressee of whatever if it puts at the consumption market. The coming of the Law 8.078/90, Code of Protection and Defense of the Consumer, inaugurates a time of effective concern with the homogeneous individual interests originating from of the consumption relationships. In this point, the focus of main to face of the present work lives, in other words, the protection of the right to the individual property, especially manifests in the exercise of the trade freedom that keeps direct relationship with the respective social function the one that is destined. The code of the consumer's defense doesn't just take care of this, but also of the other star of the relationships of the consumption. When affirming in the interruption VI of the art. 4th that the national politics of those relationships, finds ballast in the prohibition and repression efficient of all of the abuses committed in the consumption relationships, keeping inherent relationship-causality in the economical order, sculpted for the article 170 in the Constitution of 1988. In the generic plan, the mark of the present work is to question concerning the limits of the trade freedom and previsible collisions with protection norms and the consumer's defense, as well as factual convergences of those small systems, especially in what he/she refers to the innate interests to the suppliers. Idag finns det begränsade teorier som behandlar det postmoderna konsumtionssamhället utifrån ett medie- och kommunikationsvetenskaligt perspektiv. Syftet med examensarbetet är att undersöka spänningsfältet mellan ICA och högskolestudenter i ett konsumtionssamhälle genom att granska varumärkeskommunikationens betydelse på digitala plattformar. Materialinsamlingen är genomförd i form av kvalitativa intervjuer, med medarbetare på ICA, samt fokusgrupper med studenter. Med studien vill vi ge en inblick i hur kommunikationsprocesser strategiskt utformas för att nå rätt målgrupp, hur relationer vårdas och vad en god dialog innebär och har för framtida betydelser. Studien har analyserat det spänningsfält som ligger i grund till valet av konsumtion gällande matvaruhandel som högskolestudent. Studiens slutsatser visar på att det är en rad olika faktorer som är bidragande till att bygga upp en stark relation med ett företag. / Today there is limited theories considering reasearch on the postmodern consumtion society from a media and communication perspective. The purpose with this thesis is to investigate the tension between ICA and Univeristy students in a consumption society through analysis brandbuilding communications meaning on digital platforms. The material to the thesis is collected by qualitative interviews, both with employees at ICA and focus groups with university students. With this thesis we want to give an insight of how communication processes strategically is designed to reach their target group, how relationships are nurtured and what a good dialogue means for future brand building. The study has analyzed the tension of what includes the choice of consumption when it comes to retail business from university students perspective. The conclusions indicate how there are a number of factors that are contributing to build a strong relationship with an organization.

Dans la péninsule d'Oman, le passage du Néolithique à l'âge du Bronze est marqué par de profondes transformations socio-économiques. La transition vers une économie agricole et l'intégration progressive dans les sphères d'interactions suprarégionales ont été interprétées comme la réponse adaptative des populations locales, suivant la pression de la demande extérieure pour l'acquisition de matières premières. Toutefois, le rôle de la péninsule omanaise au sein de ce réseau à l'aube de l'âge du Bronze est moins patent qu'on ne l'envisage, mettant en cause la nature des transformations déclenchées au début du 3ème millénaire av. J.-C.. Nous avons exploré ces questions à la lumière de la maisonnée, explicitement conçue en tant qu'élément structurant de la société, « sociogramme d'un système social ». Afin de circonstancier le passage vers la complexification de l'âge du Bronze, l'étude considère brièvement les dernières occupations néolithiques. Elle se focalise sur une analyse diachronique des architectures domestiques et de la culture matérielle au 3ème millénaire av. J.-C. (périodes Hafit et Umm an-Nar), évaluant les différents aspects susceptibles de fournir des informations sur la configuration des activités domestiques et de manufacture, sur la perception sociale de l'espace, sur l'organisation de la force de travail et le degré de spécialisation de celle-ci. Cette démarche a permis d'aborder les acteurs sociaux à l'échelle de l'habitat, valorisant l'importance des mutations socio-économiques amorcées localement, et exprimées par les cycles de développement de la maisonnée sur le long terme. / In the Oman peninsula, the transition from the Neolithic to the Bronze Age is marked by deep socioeconomic transformations. The shift towards an agricultural economy and the gradual integration into supraregional interaction spheres have been interpreted as the adaptive response of local populations to the pressure of an external demand for the acquisition of raw materials. Nevertheless, at the dawn of the Bronze Age, the role of the Oman Peninsula within this network is less patent than generally assumed, calling into question the nature of the transformations that characterise the beginning of the 3rd millennium BC. These questions were explored by the point of view of the household, explicitly conceived as a structuring element of the society, the “sociogram of a social system”. Aiming at better understanding of the transition towards the complexification of the Bronze Age, the study briefly addresses the last Neolithic occupations, and focuses on a diachronic analysis of domestic architectures and material culture during the 3rd millennium BC (Hafit and Umm an-Nar periods). It considers a series of different aspects that could offer insights on the configuration of domestic and craft activities, on the social perception of space, on the organisation of the workforce and their degree of specialisation. This approach allowed grasping the social actors at the village level, highlighting the importance of socioeconomic transformations originating at a local scale, and expressed by the developmental cycles of the household in the long term. In addition , new field data lead to the identification of specific chronological markers for the Hafit period and the last Umm an-Nar phase.

The aim of thediploma thesis is to make the detailed building-technological project of microbrewery Vysočina. It is concentrated on the principles of building organization what makes construction facility, the calculation of electric power and water supply, calculation of the costs of operating the construction site and its graphic representation for chosen construction phases. I also make the project of the optimal machine composition. After that I compile the budget and costing of the microbrewery, the time and financial plan and the evaluation of main sources. I technologically solve the phase of upper shell construction made of reinforced pre-cast construction for building object of the microbrewery Vysočina. I apply the other ways of assembly of upper shell construction and show their evaluation in terms of price and time construction. I make the inspection and test plan, environmental aspects, the source register of working risk, heat-engineering review of building case and fire safety solutions.
