Previous issue date: 2007-12-13 / The objective of this study was to investigate the elements that contribute to the state of stress which often affects those who embrace the university teaching career, and also to
learn whatever strategies professors use to cope with stressing situations in order to develop resilience and a sound exercise of their profession. To the very nature of university teaching belong a variety of attributions, demands and challenges which, together, may contribute to the development of stress. The epistemological principles
which guided this research were those of Complex Thinking, which facilitate a deeper comprehension of the human and social phenomena as viewed through the lens of complexity principles: the dialogical principle, the organizational recursivity principle and the hologramatical principle. Fully acknowledging the many difficulties brought about by any attempt that would try to explain human phenomena based only on one theoretical reference, we have elected multi-referentiality as the support for this study, thus being able to dialogue with a variety of authors about the same phenomenon. This was a qualitative research in which questionnaires and interviews were used as instruments for the empirical work. The data has been articulated into categories and
subcategories, allowing for a thematic analysis. Participants of the study were seventeen professors from two different colleges in the city of Natal, state of Rio
Grande do Norte. Bad working conditions, demands from the institution, student s lack of commitment, long working hours, low salaries, lack of incentives to university
teachers, uncertainty concerning timetable and difficulties in proper time administration are the variables that contribute to the stress of professors. Although this is a problem
that affects the group as a whole, strategies to cope with it are individually sought and vary from trying to find different leisure options, opening one s heart to colleagues or
relatives, individual planning, prayer, rational facing of the situation, to simply giving in to exhaustion. The study has proposed institutional as well as personal actions that may
foster a development among professors which takes into account a resilience development in a collective perspective. Also, it shows some articulations that are
already under way so that professors may be attended to. / Esse estudo teve como objetivos investigar os elementos que contribuem para desencadear o estresse no exerc?cio da doc?ncia universit?ria e conhecer as estrat?gias adotadas pelos professores para enfrentar as situa??es estressantes, a fim de promover o desenvolvimento da resili?ncia e um exerc?cio saud?vel do of?cio. Previous issue date: 2007-12-14 / The purpose of this study is to analyze the strategies used by families living in at-risk-and-vulnerable situations registered with the Estrat?gia Sa?de da Fam?lia (ESF) ( Family Health Strategy ) as they face their daily problems. This is an investigation of a qualitative nature, using interview as the main tool for an empirical approach. Ten women from the Panatis
location in northern Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, whose families live in precarious social-economical situations were interviewed. The interviews occurred between the months of April and June, 2007. The reports revealed that a mixture of improvisations and creativity was used as strategies for overcoming the privations and necessities of daily life. We also reached the conclusion that these families sought solutions for their problems through religiosity and a gift reciprocity system as resources for obtaining personal recognition and support in adversity. The results, in addition, point to ESF as one of the strategies used by these families in the search for attention and care. From this perspective, ESF has proven to be a place for listening and the construction of ties that are consolidated through home visits, organized groups, in parties and outings that are promoted in the community, reestablishing contact and support among people and signaling a way out of abandonment and isolation. Holders of knowledge constructed through life experiences, the participants of the study led us to induce and infer the need to amplify space that will allow them to express meanings, values and experiences, and consider that becoming ill is a process that incorporates dimensions of life that go beyond the physical. As health professionals, we need to be aware of the multiple and creative abilities used in the daily lives of these families, so that we can, along with them, reinvent a new way of dealing with health / O presente estudo tem por objetivo analisar as estrat?gias utilizadas pelas fam?lias em situa??o de risco e vulnerabilidade, adscritas ? Estrat?gia Sa?de da Fam?lia (ESF), no enfrentamento de seus problemas cotidianos. Trata-se de uma investiga??o de natureza qualitativa que utiliza a entrevista como principal ferramenta da abordagem emp?rica. Foram entrevistadas dez mulheres da localidade do Panatis, zona Norte, do munic?pio de Natal-RN, cujas fam?lias vivenciam car?ncias de condi??es socioecon?micas b?sicas. As entrevistas ocorreram entre os meses de abril a junho de 2007. Os depoimentos revelam a exist?ncia de um misto de improvisa??es e criatividades usadas como estrat?gias para a supera??o das priva??es e necessidades vividas no cotidiano. Depreendemos, igualmente, que estas fam?lias buscam

o seu processo de forma??o na perspectiva individual tamb?m tem ganhado aten??o
no meio acad?mico. Corroborando com esta tend?ncia, o objetivo deste estudo ?
discutir o processo de forma??o de estrat?gias a partir de uma perspectiva individual
com base nas tr?s dimens?es do processo estrat?gico (mudan?a, pensamento e
forma??o) propostas por De Wit e Meyer (2004). Para isso, este estudo explorat?riodescritivo,
utilizou-se das t?cnicas de an?lise fatorial, correla??o n?o param?trica e
regress?o linear para analisar dados levantados junto a 93 decisores do ramo
varejista de constru??o civil de Natal e regi?o metropolitana. Como resultados, t?mse
que os fatores formadores das dimens?es investigadas foram identificados em
sua maioria, confirmando desta forma, a exist?ncia de paradoxos no processo
estrat?gico, e que h? uma rela??o entre o pensamento l?gico e a forma??o
deliberada com o n?vel hier?rquico dos decisores. / The strategy research have been widespread for many years and, more recently, the
process of formation of the strategies in the individual perspective has also gained
attention in academia. Confirming this trend, the goal of this study is to discuss the
process of formation of the strategies from an individual perspective based on the
three dimensions of the strategic process (change, thinking and formation) proposed
by De Wit and Meyer (2004). To this end, this exploratory-descriptive study used the
factor analysis techniques, non-parametric correlation and linear regression to
analyze data collected from the decision makers of the 93 retail in the industry of
construction supplies in the Natal and metropolitan area. As a result, we have that
the formation factors of the dimensions investigated were identified in the majority,
thus confirming the existence of paradoxes in the strategic process, and that there is
a relationship between logical thinking and deliberate formation with the hierarchical
level of decision makers.

Previous issue date: 2006-06-23 / The use of Natural Gas Vehicle has had a fast increase lately. However, in order to have a continuous success this Program needs to develop converting devices of Otto-cycle engines, gasoline or alcohol, to the use of NGV (Natural Gas Vehicle) that presents low cost, maintaining the same original development of the vehicle and low level of emissions, considering the PROCONVE rules. Due to the need to diversify the matrix in order to avoid energetic dependence and due to strict pollution control, it has increased in the Brazilian market the number of vehicles converted to the use of NGV.
The recent regulation of the PROCONVE, determining that the converted engines with kits should be submitted to emission testing, comes to reinforce the necessity of the proposed development. Therefore, if we can obtain kits with the characteristics already described, we can reach a major trust in the market and obtain an increase acceptance of the vehicle conversion for NGV. The use of natural gas as vehicle fuel presents several advantages in relation to liquid fuels. It is a vehicle fuel with fewer indexes of emissions when compared to diesel; their combustion gases are less harmful, with a major level of safety than liquid fuels and the market price is quite competitive. The preoccupation that emerges, and the motivation of this project, is to know which are the main justifications for such technology, well accepted in other countries, with a low index or emission, with a high level of safety, where its maintenance becomes low, reminding that for this it is necessary that this technology has to be used properly, and once available in the market will not motivate interest in the urban transportation companies in Brazil, in research centers in general. Therefore this project exists to show the society in a general way the current vision of the main governmental factors, of the national research centers and of the private companies concerning the use of natural gas vehicles in urban transport vehicles, in order to give a major reliability to the population as well as to motivate national market competitiveness with a low cost and reliable product and to enrich the national technology / O uso do g?s natural veicular tem tido um crescimento acelerado nos ?ltimos anos. No entanto, para que esse Programa tenha um sucesso cont?nuo, faz-se necess?rio desenvolver dispositivos de convers?o de motores do Ciclo Otto, a gasolina ou ?lcool, para o uso de GNV (G?s Natural Veicular) que apresentem baixo custo, conservando o mesmo desempenho original do ve?culo e baixo n?vel de emiss?es, atendendo as normas do PROCONVE. Devido ? necessidade de diversifica??o da matriz a fim de evitar depend?ncia energ?tica e devido aos r?gidos controles de polui??o, cresce no mercado brasileiro o n?mero de ve?culos convertidos para a utiliza??o de GNV. Points out the limitations of the methodology for assessing water quality in use today. Approaches the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) for adoption, by the companies responsible for producing and distributing water, of assessment methodologies and risk management (HACCP), in order to ensure the quality and safety of water drinking. Suggests strategies for implementing the plan for water safety plan. Uses the process of water production, composed by Maxaranguape river basin, the water treatment plant and distribution system, which is part of the Plan for Expansion of the Supply System of Natal, as case study. The results, it was possible to devise strategies for implementation of the Water Safety Plan (WSP), which comprises the following steps: a) a preliminary stage. b) assessment system. c) process monitoring. d) management plan and e) validation and verification of the PSA. At each stage are included actions for its implementation. The implementation of the PSA shows a new type of water production, in which the fountain as a whole (watershed and point of capture), the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and distribution, shall compose the production process, over which to build quality and safety of the final product (drinking water) / A pesquisa trata da an?lise da produ??o e distribui??o de ?gua pot?vel com qualidade e seguran?a de modo a atender as necessidades do Homem. The study intended to present, through the analyzed occurrences in the corpus, the discursive strategies use for the argumentation construction, observing the different lexicalization forms and the effects that these strategies produced for the intended meaning construction. Aiming to analyze the modalization via texts written by candidates for the UFRN entrance examination, the relations between this category and the resources used for the argumentative guidance of the text were highlighted. Conceived as a speaker argumentative strategy to express his/her relationship with the proposition content which enunciates, the modalization is, thus, one of the linguistic expression form used for the attainment of intended meaning effects in the argumentation construction. In order to substantiate the research, the theoretical assumptions adopted were the propositions which deal with this linguistic category, guiding it to a pragmatic-semantic perspective as well as a discursive-semantic one. Hence, Neves ( 1996, 2006), Koch ( 2000, 2002), Cervoni ( 1989), Bronkart (1999) and Castilho; Morais de Castilho (1996) studies, among others founded this work. Afterwards, a contextualized analysis of the modalized statements, taking into account all the set of elements implied on the argumentation construction, was carried out. The research, which had a strict qualitative character, revealed that the candidates make use of modalization to express commitment or dissociation as regards the statement which they produce; to obtain credibility and provide more authority to their arguments, thus avoiding them of being contested; to impose their arguments as real ones and acquire acceptance of the interlocutor; to lessen the proposition content and disguise the knowledge source; to comment the enunciation and attribute the discourse to another sender; to establish a dialogic relation with the interlocutor. In addition to offering support for new investigations, the research also aims to contribute for the mother tongue teaching, emphasizing the need of a focus which provides special attention to the written language functioning and its application diversity.

Previous issue date: 2006-11-27 / The incorporation of computing in class instigate the use of the Internet and websites as a content support in the teaching/leaning process. This kind of practice had challenged the students to read through eletronic hypertextual means. In that way, we re trying to undestand which strategies of reading and navigation the students of the second and third grade of highschool levels are using when reading electronic hypertexts from the www.ambientebrasil.com.br website. The research took place in the Escola Estadual Jer?nimo Rosado in Mossor? RN. Our theoretical base was estructured on the digital Technology (electronic hypertext estructure and it s navigation modes), in applied linguistics (act of reading) and in cognition (interaction of the reader with the text and the use of reading strategies in the virtual computing enviroment). The applied methodology was the case analysis which was developed with the reunion of collected data through qualitative reseach questionaries, direct observations and video recording sessions. The research demonstrates that reader s ability in the act of navigating on virtual sites activates his/her reading strategies. Also shows how the semantic architecture of the hyperlinks can interfere directly over the strategies of reading and navigation in specific websites. Our research also intend to demonstrate that the student use his strategies of linear text reading when are not accustomed to use the reading through websites in a regular basis. The investigation concludes observing that the amount of hypertexts per pages and the inappropriate use of the multimedia elements were harmful to the reading fluency / A incorpora??o da inform?tica na escola levou alunos a utilizar a internet e os s?tios virtuais como suportes de conte?dos de ensino/aprendizagem. Previous issue date: 2009-04-16 / This work consists of a cognitive-functional approach of relativization strategies of Brazilian Portuguese (BP), this is, standard relatives (with preposition or without it) and non-standard relatives (copiadora and the deletion pattern), and it emphasizes the last one. We investigate the use of the relative construction strategies in spoken and written texts produced by speakers from different school levels in a specific situation: a face-to-face interviewing. Our database is the corpora Discurso & Gram?tica: a l?ngua falada e escrita na cidade do Natal e a l?ngua falada e escrita na cidade do Rio de Janeiro. We contrast the use of the standard relative to the deletion pattern in prepositional context, by considering cognitive, social and interactional motivations for the use of the deletion pattern instead of the standard one. Our research leads us to verify that the deletion pattern is fixing as the preferred relativization strategy in prepositional contexts, and, in this way, it brings out a grammaticalization process in working. For this reason, we propose to take this relative construction as a common way to structure a relative clause, in the same way we take the standard pattern. Finally, we discuss the treatment of questions related to the processes of teaching and learning of Portuguese language and some suggestions are given in terms of class activities. We expect that the development of this research may give both support for the Portuguese teachers and suggestions to improve the teaching and learning process of Portuguese language, contributing in special to the treatment of the syntax of complex clauses. / Este trabalho consiste num tratamento cognitivo-funcional das estrat?gias de relativiza??o do Portugu?s Brasileiro (PB), a saber: relativas padr?o (com e sem preposi??o) e relativas n?o-padr?o (cortadora e copiadora), com ?nfase nas cortadoras. Tomando como material de an?lise os corpora Discurso & Gram?tica: a l?ngua falada e escrita na cidade do Natal e a l?ngua falada e escrita na cidade do Rio de Janeiro, fazemos um levantamento das recorr?ncias ao uso das estrat?gias de constru??o relativa em textos orais e escritos produzidos por falantes de tr?s n?veis distintos de escolariza??o, em situa??o espec?fica de entrevista. Partindo de pressupostos te?ricos da abordagem cognitivo-funcional, comparamos o uso das relativas cortadora e padr?o em ambiente preposicionado, e utilizamo-nos de alguns princ?pios e categorias anal?ticas do funcionalismo de forma a elucidar como a recorr?ncia ? primeira estrat?gia em detrimento da segunda atende a necessidades de natureza sociointeracional e cognitiva. Al?m disso, analisamos diversos trabalhos que investigaram as estrat?gias de relativiza??o no PB tanto sincr?nica como diacronicamente, o que nos levou a constatar que a cortadora est? se fixando como a estrat?gia preferida em ambientes preposicionados, revelando, assim, um processo de gramaticaliza??o em andamento. Em virtude disso, propomos que essa estrat?gia seja considerada/tratada, no ambiente escolar, n?o como um desvio ? norma padr?o, mas como uma forma de organiza??o da ora??o relativa t?o genu?na quanto as demais, motivo pelo qual dedicamos um cap?tulo ?s poss?veis contribui??es desta pesquisa ao processo de ensino-aprendizagem da l?ngua materna e apresentamos proposta de aplica??o em sala de aula. Previous issue date: 2016-08-08 / Este trabalho ? fruto de uma pesquisa etnogr?fica realizada com jovens autores de atos infracionais em uma Unidade de Interna??o situada no Recanto das Emas ? Distrito Federal. A partir de um assalto que dois jovens praticaram na minha casa passei a tentar compreender o que levava jovens como eles a recorrerem ao crime e o que isso representava para eles, o que acabou se convertendo no objetivo desta pesquisa. Observei, ent?o, que a falta de perspectivas a que muitos jovens est?o submetidos aliada ao fato de serem tratados como bandidos, independentemente de estarem envolvidos com o crime, em decorr?ncia do processo de sujei??o criminal (MISSE,1999), acaba gerando uma revolta e uma demanda por reconhecimento (HONNETH, 2003) t?o latentes a ponto de transformar o crime em uma op??o que faz sentido para eles. Dessa forma, eles negam um pacto social do qual n?o participam e a ele reagem, por quererem incluir-se e n?o conseguirem. Mais do que uma forma de obter lucros patrimoniais, o crime se apresenta como um meio de acessar um universo simb?lico que n?o estaria dispon?vel a eles por outras vias, como a possibilidade de luxar, de ter fama na quebrada, al?m dos ganhos advindos dessa experi?ncia como a adrenalina e o prazer, ainda que moment?neos, e a viv?ncia de uma situa??o em que se est? no poder, sobretudo depois de uma vida de submiss?o. Entretanto, ao optarem por um estilo de vida que ? rejeitado pela ?moral leg?tima dominante?, eles se veem obrigados a desenvolverem in?meras estrat?gias individuais e coletivas para lidarem com ele, como ? o caso das performances que passam a executar durante o crime para manter a sua imagem de bandido. / This work is a result of an ethnographic research made with young authors of illegal acts at an internment unity located in Recanto das Emas ? Distrito Federal. From an assault that two young men practiced in my house I began to try to understand what led young people as they resort to crime and what it represented to them because since that experience I came across perceptions for which had not yet awakened, which ended up becoming the objective of this research. In that context, trying to access the experiential aspects (RIFIOTIS, 2006) of crime, I tried to identify from the point of view of those subjects which were their benefits and which were their searches behind this experience. Then I observed that the missing of perspectives which these young and poor men are submitted allied to the fact of being treated both by society and the State as criminals, regardless of being involved with the crime, as a result of the subjection criminal process as Misse says (1999), puts the crime as something engraved on subjectivity of the agent, end up generating a revolt and a demand of recognition (HONNETH, 2003) as latent to the point of turning the crime into a choice that makes sense to them, although it has a difficult moral justification. In this way, they deny a social pact, which do not participate and react to, because they want to be included and are not able to. More than a way to obtain patrimonial profits, crime presents itself as a means of accessing a symbolic universe that would not be available to them in another way, such as the possibility of luxury and to have a fame in his own place, besides the gains that come from that experience as the adrenaline and pleasure, even if momentary, to live a situation in which you are in power, moreover after a life of submission. However, by choosing a style of life that is rejected by "legitimate dominant moral", they see their selves forced to develop numerous individual and collective strategies to deal with it, as is the case of performances that are run not only during the crime, but even to maintain his image of bandit. It occurs that even if the crime presents itself, initially, as a fight strategy for recognition, it always ends restricted to their peers, reason for which, overtime, the crime starts to be seeing as an illusion.

Previous issue date: 2017-02-10 / O Transtorno do Espectro do Autismo (TEA) ? um dist?rbio do neurodesenvolvimento, caracterizado por preju?zos nas ?reas sociocomunicativas e comportamentais. Com essas especificidades e, tamb?m, perante os n?meros expressivos de educandos assim diagnosticados matriculados em escolas regulares, ? primordial que o professor fa?a uso de pr?ticas interventivas que, de fato, favore?am o desenvolvimento acad?mico e funcional dessa popula??o. Nesse contexto, o objetivo do presente estudo ? identificar, com base na Revis?o Integrativa da Literatura (RIL), estrat?gias de ensino e de aprendizagem implementadas por professores regentes, que atuam em classes regulares de ensino, com essa clientela especial. Como fonte de an?lise, foi rastreado um acervo de teses e de disserta??es publicadas no Brasil, no per?odo 2008-2013. Os dados coletados em vinte estudos foram, atrav?s de procedimentos da An?lise de Conte?do, organizados em categorias e em subcategorias. A seguir, com base em crit?rios estabelecidos por duas ag?ncias de pesquisa (National Autism Center e o National Professional Development Center), essas estrat?gias foram classificadas, tendo como crit?rio a validade cient?fica. Os resultados desse estudo revelaram a necessidade de instala??o de programas de forma??o continuada, para aquisi??o de compet?ncias, por parte dos professores, no sentido de se tornarem capazes de implementar pr?ticas empiricamente validadas, no cotidiano das escolas brasileiras. / Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by social-communication and behavior impairments. With these specificities and considering the expressive number of students with ASD enrolled in regular schools, it is critical that teachers implement intervention strategies that truly favor the academic and the functional development of this population. In this scenario, the purpose of this study is to identify, based on an Integrative Literature Review (ILR), teaching and learning strategies implemented by regent teachers, who work in regular classes with these students. Theses and dissertations published in Brazil between 2008 and 2013 were used as source of analysis. Data collected in twenty studies were, through Content Analysis, organized into categories and subcategories. Based on criteria established by two research agencies (National Autism Center and National Professional Development Center), these strategies were, then, classified in terms of scientific validity. The results of this study revealed the need for teacher education programs capable of developing competencies to implement empirically validated practices in Brazilian schools.
