Esta dissertação trata dos conceitos ligados ao caminhar urbano, ao ato de caminhar e às diferenças de leitura de tempo e espaço entre nômades e sedentários na civilização urbana. A compreensão das diversas maneiras de caminhar como um ato de ler e escrever o espaço urbano auxilia na compreensão dos processos que transformaram a cidade e à sua arquitetura através dos tempos, até o surgimento das mídias eletrônicas e o advento do ciberespaço. / This study is on the several linked concepts to the action of urban walking and the understanding of the differences of reading of time and space among nomads and sedentary. The comprehension of walking as an action of to read and to write on the urban space it aids in the understanding of the processes of transformations of the city and of her architecture through the times, until the appearance of the electronic medias and the coming of the cyberspace.

<p>This paper deals with archery in the Viking Age settlement of Birka and in particular the presence of Euro Asiatic, steppe nomadic archery equipment at the Birka Garrison and one Birka grave. The equipment contains for example closed quivers and a bow case. This paper also contains a discussion of archery battle techniques and tactics in Viking Age Birka and the implications of the above mentioned equipment to this discussion. The analysis insinuates the importance and status of archery in 10th century Birka.</p>

Die Chanten leben als Rentierzüchter in der Taiga Westsibiriens – eine Lebensweise, die durch die Erdölförderung verdrängt wird. Ihr Leben verläuft heute räumlich und sozial im Wechsel zwischen Wald und Stadt. Ihre Strategien, kulturelle Differenz und Autonomie durch Grenzziehungen mit Hilfe religiöser Praktiken und sozialer Normen aufrechtzuerhalten, werden am Beispiel des Festes zum „Tag des Rentierzüchters“ verdeutlicht. Der Autor zeigt, wie Menschen der Taiga in dieser Situation eigene Praktiken des Verbergens und Vermeidens, aber auch neue Wege der öffentlichen Repräsentation nutzen. / The Khanty live as reindeer herders in the Western Siberian Taiga but their lifestyle is endangered by crude oil extraction on their land. Today their lives are divided socially as well as spatially between the town and the forest. By taking the celebration of the Day of the Reindeer Herder as an example, the book describes the indigenous strategies to keep cultural difference and autonomy alive by drawing boundaries and maintaining religious practices and social norms. The author shows how the people of the Taiga use their traditions of hiding and avoiding as well as new ways of public representation to cope with the changes. / Оленеводы-ханты живут в Западносибирской тайге, на этой же территории ведется добыча нефти, которая ставить их образ жизни под угрозу. Их жизнь сегодня связана одновременно и с тайгой и с городом, между которыми они постоянно перемещаются и пространственно и социально. На примере празднования Дня Оленевода автор пассматривает существующие у жителей тайги стратегии сохранения культурного своеобразия и культурной автономии, связанные с проведением социальных границ при помощи культурных практик и социальных норм. Автор показывает, что в этой ситуации ханты используют как традиционные практики избегания и скрывания, так и новые способы публичной репрезентации.

It’s the 'digital nomadism'. The term is used to name people traveling while working remotely. This study aims to raise the decisive factors that enable the life project designed by Brazilian 'digital nomads'. Starting from a theoretical framework discussing work flexibility, this research explored the profiles of these individuals, their motivations and how they enable supposedly freer lifestyle and working mode. The reports were obtained through interviews with sixteen professionals, freelancers or entrepreneurs, which, after a content analysis, showed a disapproval of the romantic discourse around the 'digital nomadism', despite the confirmation of the increased sense of freedom. It was noted how the Brazilian 'digital nomads' develop their own lifestyle. / Um novo estilo de vida e de trabalho vem chamando a atenção nas redes sociais digitais e nos meios de comunicação em geral. É o 'nomadismo digital'. O termo é usado para se referir a pessoas que viajam enquanto trabalham remotamente. Este estudo tem como objetivo levantar o conjunto de fatores que se mostram decisivos para a viabilidade do projeto de vida idealizado pelos 'nômades digitais' brasileiros. Partindo de um referencial teórico que discute a flexibilização do trabalho, explorou-se os perfis desses indivíduos, suas motivações e a maneira como buscam viabilizar um estilo de vida e uma modalidade de trabalho supostamente mais livres. Os relatos foram obtidos por meio de entrevistas com dezesseis profissionais, freelancers ou empreendedores, que, após uma análise de conteúdo, evidenciaram uma crítica ao discurso romântico que envolve o 'nomadismo digital', apesar de confirmarem um aumento na sensação de liberdade. Observou-se de que maneira o 'nômade digital' brasileiro desenvolve um estilo de vida próprio.
