A pesquisa tem como objetivo geral analisar em que condições a inserção do projeto Lugares de aprender: a escola sai da escola contribui com a democratização da cultura na formação escolar dos estudantes, a partir da abordagem dos estudos culturais. Partindo dos objetivos específicos que pretendem apresentar e caracterizar os estudos culturais como campo teórico e político, que trata das relações na sociedade, e situar o programa Cultura é Currículo nas políticas contemporâneas de educação, a indagação a ser respondida por esse estudo é: em que condições a inserção do projeto Lugares de Aprender: a escola sai da escola contribui com a democratização cultural na formação dos estudantes? Em nossa hipótese preliminar supomos que a inserção do turismo no currículo escolar permite a aproximação dos estudantes a diferentes espaços culturais, ampliando e diversificando as referências culturais em sua formação. Como metodologia, realizamos pesquisa teórica recorrendo a fontes bibliográficas e documentais, e pesquisa de campo. Nesta, utilizamos o método observacional com o enfoque preponderantemente qualitativo, e técnicas de observação direta, entrevista e questionário. Os dados obtidos foram categorizados para análise dos conteúdos. Os resultados alcançados representam a complexidade apreendida nas diversas relações entre os participantes e planejadores do projeto. / This research mainly aims to describe on which conditions the insertion of the project Lugares de aprender: a escola sai da escola (Places for learning: schooling leaves school) contributes to the democratization of culture in the schooling of students due to its use of a cultural studies approach. Starting with the specific objectives that firstly intend to present and characterize cultural studies as a theoretical and political field, which covers relations in society, and secondly propose to situate the program Cultura é Currículo (Culture is Curriculum) in contemporary educational policies the question to be answered by this study is, In which conditions the insertion of the project Lugares de aprender: a escola sai da escola (Places for learning: schooling leaves school) contributes to cultural democratization in students\' education? In our preliminary hypothesis, we assume that the inclusion of tourism in the school curriculum allows students to approach different cultural spaces, expanding and diversifying the cultural references in their education. As methodology, we have conducted theoretical research using bibliographic and documentary sources as well as field research. In such research, we have made use of the observational method with a predominantly qualitative approach, as well as techniques of direct observation, interview and questionnaire. Data were categorized for content analysis. The achieved results represent the complexity perceived in different relationships between participants and project planners.

Les mutations des échelles de responsabilité, ainsi que le rôle de l'immigration dans la production physique mais aussi symbolique de la ville, sont analysés à travers le prisme des politiques locales d'immigration et d'intégration mises en œuvre dans les villes israéliennes d'Acre, Arad, Kiryat Gat et Kiryat Shmona. La politique volontariste d'accueil des immigrés juifs en Israël, datant des années 1950, est mise à l'épreuve de la décentralisation. En réalité, seule une partie des autorités locales mettent en place des politiques locales d'immigration et d'intégration. L'enquête montre que ces villes moyennes font souvent le choix de former de façon proactive une politique locale afin de « choisir » les immigrés qui s'y installent d'une part ; et de développer de nouveaux canaux d'accès à des ressources publiques d'autre part. Dans ce contexte, la mise en place d'une politique d'immigration dans la ville engendre une situation d'interdépendance entre des acteurs situées à des échelles de pouvoir différentes. Avec l'éclatement des responsabilités, les acteurs sont mis en concurrence pour obtenir les ressources publiques et privées dédiées à l'intégration des immigrés. L'immigration prend part à la fabrique du lieu. Via la mise en valeur de la contribution des anciennes vagues d'immigration, et le potentiel imaginé des futurs immigrés, l'immigration est envisagée comme un renouveau démographique, économique ou culturel. Conçue comme un levier, elle permet de redéfinir les échelles de développement de ces villes frontières. / Mutations of scales of power, as well as the role of immigration in the physical and symbolic production of the city, are analysed through immigrant integration policies in the cities of Acre, Arad, Kiryat Gat and Kiryat Shmona in Israel. Jewish immigration policies, as defined by the State of Israel from 1950s onwards, are challenged by decentralisation. However, only some local governments actively make local immigrant integration policies. The inquiry shows that these mid-sized cities proactively formulate a local policy in order to “choose” the immigrants that settle on the one hand; and to access new channels of public resources on the other hand.In that context, the implementation of an immigrant policy in the city leads to interdependence between actors located at various scales of power. With the fragmentation of responsibilities, actors compete to obtain the public and private resources for immigrant integration. Immigration is part of the making of place. Through the reintegration of former waves of immigration, and the imagined potential of future immigrants, immigration is foreseen as a demographic, economic or cultural renewal. As formas de conceber o espaço são consequências dos ambientes de rede, a Internet. Esta pesquisa aborda as interações e novas práticas sociais nos espaços públicos de acesso pago à Internet na zona central de Novo Hamburgo. Para isso, nasce a multietnografia, método que agrega a etnografia, fotoetnografia e netnografia simultaneamente. No campo, cafés (com wi-fi), cibercafés e lan houses, são observadas, relatadas e debatidas algumas das particularidades desses ambientes, que podem ser vistos como agregações ao ciberespaço. São mostrados exemplos concretos a partir de fotografias nos locais e anotações urbanas, descrevendo a realidade online e off-line de espaços que servem de elo entre o físico e o virtual. São ambientes onde acontecem sociabilidades contemporâneas, emergência de novas formas de socialização, novos estilos de vida e novas formas de organização social. / In the current phase of the information society, the urban space and how communication goes through major changes. The ways of designing the space are consequences of network environments, the Internet. This search discusses the interaction and new social habits in public spaces with paid access to the Internet downtown in Novo Hamburgo. For this, raises the multiethnograpy, a method that combines ethnography, photoethnography,and netnography simultaneously. In the countryside, cafes (with wi-fi), cybercafés, and lanhouses are observed, reported and discussed some of the characteristics of those places, which can be viewed as aggregations to cyberspace. Concrete examples are shown from photographs on the places, and urban notes describing the reality of online and offline spaces that serve as the link between physical and virtual. They are places where contemporary sociability happen, emerging from new forms of socialization, new lifestyles and new forms of social organization.

We aim to capture the dialogue between literature and landscape, as well as understand the geographic space configured on this poet's poetry, also reflect on the construction of the landscape as a poetic factor. To reach our objectives, we have selected the following problematization: to what extent is the space a key that articulates a dialogue between geography and literature? How is the landscape configured in the geographical-poetic space of Josoaldo's poems? To what extent does the poet express geopoetics and geography through his poems? From that, we present the poetic dialogue in Josoaldo Lima Rêgo's poetry with other poets, such as: Roberto Piva, T. S. Eliot, André Breton, Octavio Paz, among others. Our theoretical foundation is centered on scholars such as: Michel Collot, Milton Santos, Maurice Blanchot, Marc Brosseau, Jean-Marc Besse, presenting us with the idea of landscape shaped by the gaze. We emphasize here the importance of Josoaldo Lima Rêgo's poetics for Brazilian literature. Tem como objetivo captar o diálogo entre literatura e paisagem, bem como apreender o espaço geográfico configurado na poesia desse poeta, assim como refletir sobre a construção da paisagem como fator poético. Para atingir esses objetivos, seleciona a seguinte problematização: até que ponto o espaço é uma chave que articula o diálogo entre geografia e literatura? Como a paisagem é configurada no espaço geográfico-poético de seus poemas? Até que ponto o poeta expressa a geopoética e geograficidade por meio de seus poemas? The object of study is the stigma, specifically the "violent place" and "dangerous guy" on certain localities and their residents. Therefore, it does not aim and study of local banditry. The theoretical framework was based on conceptual ideas and perceptions of violence, stigma and media carried by some theorists. Are authors who discuss the three themes in different contexts, situations and structures, serving here as "background" in the discussion, since they bring to the debate the cultural, historical and institutional estigmatório underlying the process. Nowadays, the violence and the media are constitutive parts governing the course of estigmatório process, rather than the unbridled emotion with the trivialization of death or excesses of unfettered criminality of the residents of urban neighborhoods, where the presence of more overt state apparatus is just the police. O objeto de estudo é o estigma, especificamente de lugar violento e sujeito perigoso sobre determinadas localidades e seus moradores. Portanto, não tem por finalidade e estudo do banditismo local. A fundamentação teórica se baseou nas concepções e percepções conceituais de violência, estigma e mídia desenvolvidas por alguns teóricos. Les déplacements de sites dans les Cyclades du XIIe siècle au VIIIe siècle av. n. è. : abandon et nouvelle occupation d’habitats, de lieux de sépulture et de lieux de culte / Site relocation in the Cyclades from the 12th century to the 8th century BCE : abandonment and formation of settlements, burial sites and cult places

L’objet de cette étude est de définir et de préciser les caractéristiques des déplacements de sites dans l’archipel des Cyclades, entre le XIIe siècle et le VIIIe siècle av. n. è. Les quelques études existantes, parfois contradictoires, émettent l’hypothèse que les déplacements se déroulent en trois étapes : un site est abandonné, la communauté se déplace et choisit un nouveau site non loin du premier pour établir un habitat, des lieux de sépulture et des lieux de culte. La validité de ce schéma doit être vérifiée. L’étude établit tout d’abord un bilan du peuplement pour chacune des trente-deux îles retenues. Les sites abandonnés et les sites nouvellement occupés sont répertoriés afin de révéler des discontinuités d’occupation. Des déplacements de sites sont proposés, à titre d’hypothèse. Il est tenu compte du fait que les interprétations sont fondées sur des données matérielles. Les conclusions se révèlent fragiles mais sont fréquemment semblables d’une île à l’autre : les déplacements de sites sont une forme de mobilité spatiale attestée mais dont la mise en œuvre et les facteurs se révèlent plus complexes qu’il ne l’avait été suggéré. Leurs caractéristiques varient aussi en fonction de la période considérée : il faut sans doute envisager une circulation accrue des communautés entre de multiples sites au cours de l’HR IIIC, et non un abandon généralisé des Cyclades ; à partir de la fin du Xe siècle et au cours du Géométrique, les déplacements de sites sont de plus en plus partiels et rares. Cette étude tente de modéliser une forme de mobilité spatiale, ce qui permet de mieux appréhender l’organisation sociale des communautés, objet d’étude central pour cette période. / This doctoral thesis aims at defining and establishing the main characteristics of site relocations, which took place in the Cyclades from the 12th to the 8th centuries BCE. According to scholars who have addressed this form of human mobility and drawn contrasting conclusions, site relocation is a three-stage process: a settlement along with its burial sites and cult places are abandoned, its community moves away and resettles a short distance away, on the very same island. This pattern is placed under scrutiny. First, data is collected in order to describe the islands’ settlement patterns over the period. Abandoned sites and newly occupied sites are recorded; settlement discontinuities are highlighted. Some hypothetical instances of site relocations are suggested. Conclusions are all the more tenuous as they derive from the analysis of artefacts. However, the thirty-two islands that have been investigated seem to follow about the same patterns: site relocation is indeed a relevant notion. Yet, this type of human spatial mobility appears to be far more complex than originally believed, notably in terms of planning and factors. The time span is divided into the LH IIIC, Protogeometric and Geometric periods and site relocation’s definition varies accordingly. Communities probably moved from site to site in the LH IIIC period: the Cyclades were not altogether abandoned. From the 10th century onwards, including the Geometric period, site relocations grew rare or were not completed. This dissertation tentatively models a category of human mobility while trying to offer some insight into the social organisation of communities, which remains a focus of scholarly attention.

La Convention européenne du paysage et la problématique des Paysages Urbains Historiques proposée par l’Unesco, confirment l’importance d’une bonne connaissance des paysages pour une gestion du cadre bâti répondant aux besoins actuels. Mais, en France, les atlas du paysage, éléments essentiels de la politique paysagère s’attachent peu aux milieux urbains, apparemment pour des motifs méthodologiques. L’objectif est de réfléchir aux méthodes qui peuvent améliorer cette connaissance La première partie fait l’état de l’art du sujet, rappelle le rôle des paysages dans le bien-être quotidien individuel et collectif, inventorie les intervenants et les doctrines et établit un bilan des démarches actuelles. Une deuxième partie retrace les méthodes de la discipline géographique pour aborder les paysages de la ville et ses échanges avec d’autres disciplines : l’urbanisme, le paysage, l’architecture. La troisième partie, est une expérimentation qui s’appuie sur un atlas des paysages celui de la Meurthe-et-Moselle, et approfondit le territoire de la Métropole du Grand Nancy. La méthode retenue, issue de la pratique des transects, est accompagnée d’analyses paysagères ponctuelles relevant de la méthode des volets paysagers prévus par la loi Paysage de 1993. Une dizaine de secteurs est examinée : centre, entrée de ville, lotissement, grand ensemble zones industrielles. Cette approche permet de formuler quelques propositions méthodologiques qui clôturent l’expérimentation. / The European convention of the landscape and the problem of the Historic Urban landscapes proposed by UNESCO, confirm the importance of a good knowledge of the landscapes for a management of the built frame answering the current needs. But, in France, atlas of the landscape, essential elements of the landscaped politics, don’t take into consideration the urban landscapes, apparently for methodological motives. The objective is to think about the methods which can improve this Knowledge.The first part makes the state of the art of the subject, calls back the role of the landscapes in the individual and collective daily well-being, lists the speaker and the doctrines and establishes a balance sheet of the current steps. A second part redraws the methods of the geographical discipline to approach the landscape of the city and its exchanges with other disciplines: the town planning, the landscape, the architecture. The third part is an experiment which leans on an atlas of the landscapes of Meurthe-et-Moselle and deepens the territory of the Metropolis of Grand Nancy. The reserved method, stemming from the practice of transect, is accompanied by limited landscaped analyses coming from the method of the statutory landscaped based on the Landscape Law of 1993. About ten sectors are examined: center, city entrance, lot, large set industrial parks. This approach allows to formulate some methodological proposals which enclose the experiment.

The interaction with places for resting and leisure, exemplified in the Environmental Psychology literature as recreational and home environments, allow us to exercise our potentials and to strengthen our (personal and collective) identity. Bearing this in mind, this dissertation has as aim to study the relation of affection between the place and the inhabitants of the community of Pipa-RN, which has turned from fishermen s village into tourist destination, bringing with it many changes to the local population. To accomplish that, we made use of behavioral observations, interviews, and graphic and photographic documentation with 30 subjects selected through a network of indications, attending to the criterion loving Pipa . After analysis and systematization of the answers, we identified three super-categories: 1) Love, characterized by the strong representation that an environment has upon an individual without, necessarily, there being an affective link, allowing it to be nurtured from a distance and dissociated from the desire to be present; 2) Attachment, demonstrated by the difficulty in leaving the place, a bond that can be mediated by personal financial investments or expectation of future benefits; 3) Affiliation, which refers to the feeling of belonging to the place and its community, sharing its history, culture, habits, etc., independent from the place of birth. These super-categories are not exclusive, on the contrary, they can form combinations which we denominate as situations, that could vary from 01 (individual involved with none of the three) to 07 (individual involved with the three); there wasn t the combination between Attachment and Affiliation. These results showed that within the framework of relations of affection with the place, there are countless possibilities of interaction individual-environment, determined by the physicalenvironmental characteristics and by the assessment that each individual makes of it. With this small contribution to the theme, we hope to enlighten the perspectives for future research, especially involving the relation of affection for places and the adoption of proenvironmental conducts, as a question of preservation of the ecosystems and of the quality of life of the inhabitants / Os afazeres e as exig?ncias f?sicas e sociais cotidianas fazem com que sintamos cada vez mais a necessidade de estar num ambiente familiar e restaurador, com os quais frequentemente estabelecemos v?nculos emocionais. A intera??o com locais de descanso e lazer, exemplificados na literatura em Psicologia Ambiental por ambientes residenciais e recreativos, permite que exercitemos nossas potencialidades e fortale?amos nossa identidade (pessoal e coletiva). Ap?s a sistematiza??o das respostas, identificamos tr?s super-categorias: 1) Amor, caracterizado pela forte representatividade que um ambiente tem para o indiv?duo, sem, necessariamente, exist?ncia de v?nculo afetivo, podendo ser mantido ? dist?ncia e dissociado do desejo de estar presente; 2) Apego, traduzido pela dificuldade em se deixar o lugar, um v?nculo que pode ser intermediado por investimentos financeiros pessoais ou expectativa de benef?cios no futuro; 3) Afilia??o, que se refere ao sentimento de perten?a ao lugar e sua comunidade, compartilhando de sua hist?ria, cultura, h?bitos, etc., independentemente do local de nascimento. Estas super-categorias n?o s?o excludentes, ao contr?rio, podem formar combina??es, as quais denominamos de situa??es, que variaram do 01 (indiv?duo envolvido com nenhuma das tr?s) ao 07 (indiv?duo envolvido com as tr?s); n?o houve a combina??o Apego e Afilia??o. Estes resultados revelaram que dentro do arcabou?o das rela??es afetivas com o lugar, h? in?meras possibilidades de intera??o pessoa-ambiente, determinadas pelas caracter?sticas f?sico-ambientais e pela avalia??o que o indiv?duo faz dele. Conhecimento e território: instituições de ensino superior e os novos usos do território paulista / Knowledge and territory: higher education institutions and the new uses of the state\'s territory

O período técnico-científico-informacional, que é a cara geográfica da globalização, requer crescentemente a participação de conteúdos técnicos e científicos necessários a realização de novas ações, praticada em escala mundial e reconhecida em poucos lugares. Para o presente trabalho de pesquisa, se fez importante observar o papel da ciência na conformação dos territórios, uma vez que a ciência, a partir de seus métodos, tem antecipado as ações no território, dominando a técnica e exige uma nova leitura do mundo para sua realização e produção. Richta in Santos (1988) vai afirmar que trata-se, no atual período, uma verdadeira interdependência entre a ciência e a técnica; a ciência precede a técnica, embora sua realização lhe seja cada vez mais subordinada. O território brasileiro revela o conjunto de ações pretéritas que marcaram o ensino superior em sua breve trajetória pelo país. O que será visto no atual período tende a reforçar a seletividade espacial quanto a promoção de conhecimentos técnicos e científicos, mormente atrelados a presença de uma densidade técnica que ora vai exigir conhecimentos para a promoção e reprodução da vida material. A racionalidade acadêmica tende a promover novos circuitos espaciais produtivos, em uma clara tendência em reforçar os usos corporativos do território em função da escassez tanto da produção quanto do alcance de conhecimentos iniciados pela educação superior. Diante do tropel de eventos recentes reconhecidos no território de acordo com as novas práticas do ensino superior, foi possível reconhecer as ações do planejamento do ensino reforçando as densidades técnicas por ora constituídas, no intento de acentuar a geografia das desigualdades. / The technical-scientific-informational period, which is the geographical face of globalization, increasingly requires the participation of technical and scientific content necessary to perform new actions, practiced worldwide and recognized in a few places. For the present research, it did note the important role of science in shaping the territories, since science from its methods, has anticipated actions in the territory, mastering the technique and requires a new understanding of the world its completion and production. Richta in Santos (1988) will say that it is, in the current period, a real interdependence between science and technology; science precedes the technique, although its realization will be increasingly subordinated. The Brazilian territory reveals the set of actions that marked preterit higher education in his brief career in the country. What will be seen in the current period tends to reinforce the spatial selectivity in the promotion of scientific and technical knowledge, mainly linked to the presence of a density technique that will now require expertise for the promotion and reproduction of material life. The academic rationality tends to promote new productive space circuits in a clear trend to strengthen corporate uses of the territory due to the scarcity of both production of the reach of knowledge initiated by higher education. Recognized before the clatter of recent events in the territory according to the new practices of higher education, it was possible to recognize the actions of planning education enhancing techniques densities for now constituted, in an attempt to accentuate the geography of inequality.
