Under den senaste tiden har det debatterats kring att Socialdemokraterna har kommit närmare högerpartierna i Sverige. Syftet med studien är att undersöka vad Socialdemokraterna har för ideologi idag och om partiets ideologi har förändrats under 2000-talet. Genom att tillämpa en beskrivande idéanalys av Socialdemokraternas valmanifest och partiprogram under 2000-talet, undersöks vilka socialistiska, liberala och konservativa drag det går att se hos Socialdemokraterna idag. Analysen av Socialdemokraternas ideologi utgår ifrån valda kategorier och grundar sig i teoretiska ramverk, som består av de klassiska ideologierna socialism, liberalism och konservatism. Studiens slutsats är att det går att se stora socialistiska drag hos Socialdemokraterna idag, men även vissa liberala och konservativa drag. Undersökningen visar även att Socialdemokraternas ideologi inte har förändrats under 2000-talet.

<p>The aim of this thesis is to examine the politics and activities of the Social Democratic students´ association Spartakus. Their relationships and political and ideological differences towards the Swedish Social Democratic Party (SAP) and the remaining parts of the Social Democratic youth organisation (SSU) in Linköping during 1969-1971 are examined. To fulfil this aim I have studied relevant literature and interviewed people who were active in Spartakus, as well as people from SSU and SAP in the municipal during the period. I have also studied written material produced by the students´ association itself during the period. The theoretical frame of reference consists of Dahl´s theory on a democratic political order, and party theories like the mass party theory of Duverger, theories from Sjöblom, Panebianco, Lipset and Tingsten and also Gidlund&Möller´s theory about different kinds of party members. The results of the thesis shows that Spartakus originally was a traditional Social Democratic students´ association whose relations towards its party and SSU were working well. However new active members who were very much inspired by the left-wing views that were spreading during that period. They changed Spartakus into a club that was very active, radical and critical towards the party, with a goal to bring the social democratic party politically further to the left. Spartakus acted during a couple of intense years, but when they used communist rhetoric to try to take control over SSU in the region and with governmental critics bid defiance towards the democratic order of the party, these organisations had had enough. The most left-wing part of Spartakus was made to leave the party and their positions on the boards of SSU.</p>

<p>Uppsatsen syfte är att undersöka och analysera det jämställdhetspolitiska fält som Moderaterna och Socialdemokraterna presenterar på deras respektive hemsidor. Genom att ta hjälp av metoden idé och ideologianalys samt partiernas ideologi ämnar arbetet generera en klargörande bild av partiernas jämställdhetspolitik samt klargöra möjliga intentioner bakom deras politiska ställningstaganden i frågan. Varför jag valt att analysera informationen som finns på respektive partis hemsidor är eftersom just den informationskällan när ut och används av många osäkra väljare. Jag har sett det intressant att se hur partierna visar upp sin bild av vad jämställdhet är och hur man ska jobba för den.</p><p>Genom min analys har jag delat in och skapat följande rubriker: Individen i centrum, Samhället i centrum, Feminism, Jämställdhet – start och mål, Vi är bäst i världen, Hemmet och privatlivet, Arbete och Näringslivet, Politiken, Samstämmighet och skiljelinjer bland partierna och till sist Kritik mot varandra.</p>

<p>Sedan början på 80-talet går det att konstatera en tydlig förändring i den svenska kriminalpolitiken som kännetecknas av mer strafftänkande och mindre fokus på behandling och återanpassning av kriminella. Denna förändrade kriminalpolitik kännetecknas bl.a. av höjda straffskalor, allt fler utdömda livstidsdomar och en ökande fängelsebeläggning. Men det blir också allt mer tydligt i den politiska retoriken att kriminalpolitiken har förändrats; det talas allt mer om säkerhet, kontroll och att använda hårdare tag mot brottslingarna. I uppsatsen studeras, med diskursanalys som metod, denna förändrade kriminalpolitik utifrån retoriken i den politiska debatten. Det material som studeras är fyra debattartiklar som publicerades på Dagens Nyheters debattsida i samband med flera i media uppmärksammade rymningar från kriminalvården 2004.</p>

The integration theories examined are assimilationism, multiculturalism, universalism and residualism. In turn these theories are simultaneously applied to the party platforms extracting explicit or implicit messages of the four former mentioned theories. The Swedish history of integration as well as immigration, which per capita is one of the highest in the European union, pinpoints the reason why this subject is due to further investigation. The results show that most of the parties contain traces of more than one integration theory, with the exception of primarily Sverigedemokraterna which focuses on assimilationism. On the other hand Vänsterpartiet, Socialdemokraterna and Centerpartiet are in favour of multiculturalism whereas Folkpartiet, Kristdemokraterna, Miljöpartiet, and Moderaterna contain more than one integration theory.</p>

During the 90’s, several reforms took place in order to change the educational system. The reforms intended to increase the freedom of choice and to facilitate the start-up process for driving independent schools. A broad alliance of political parties from left to right supported these reforms. Twenty years later, the independent schools constitute a substantial part of schools in Sweden. However, recently there has been a debate about the expanding number of independent schools and whether these schools should be allowed to make profits or not.   In an official statement in the autumn of 2012 the Social Democratic Party announced their new policy declaring that independent schools and freedom of choice are important parts of the educational system. To prevent independent schools from making big profits, the Social Democratic Party launched ideas such as stringent quality requirements. This enquiry analyses the motions written by members of the parliament representing the Social Democratic Party in order to distinguish the pursued policy regarding independent school during the period 2006 - 2012. In this study, I draw the conclusion that members of the parliament representing the Social Democratic Party pursued different policies in the question regarding independent schools. It turned out there was a dividing line between those who pursued traditional working class politics and those who pursued a liberal middle class politics. The former were more eager to criticise the expansion of the independent schools than the latter. Making profit in publicly funded independent schools was something that most members of the Social Democratic Party disliked, but none of them raised their voices for a prohibition.

The main purpose of this analytic study which has a theoretical focus, Is to find out if the two Swedish parties Socialdemokraterna (s) - The Social Democrats - and Folkpartiet (p) - The Liberal Party - has taken position ideologically or strategically to the new sex-degree grading scale. The theory section describes the concepts of ideology and strategy. Despite the talk of the death of the ideologies, this don't need to be the case, they only adjust över time. The second key-point of this essay is strategy, a model based on Frostbergs reasoning illustrates this. A number of problem areas are presented. The politicians are driven by a desire to to realize their preferences and sometimes come strategic actions necessary. On the other side are the voters who will assess the degree of contact and the credibility of what the different parties presents. The material is based upon a varied mix of sources. Socialdemokraterna stands for a theory of equality while Folkpartiet has its roots in the liberal ideas. These two parties have previously done deals in heavy issues, this in a political land of sometimes unexpected decisions and alliances. The school is central to the Government and is a constant  topic of discussion and criticism. Something must be done because the Swedish school has been unsuccessful in quality intemationally. A model is used to illustrate and analyze the outcome of the result of the two parties if they has acted ideologically or strategically in the case of the grade-system. The answer is that (fp) has acted ideologically because they have a clear link to their ideal-type determination. Socialdemokraterna have acted strategically in relation to ideological points as well in their overall opinion explanation with the school had to give up on a number on of points.
