The work deals with the valuation of a holiday cottage according to the previous valuation regulations and subsequently according to the present valuation regulation. In the chapters deal with individual valuation periods, description of a specific holiday cottage, valuation of the land, description of the locality. Easements are also part of the work. Valuation of a holiday cottage is done through practice expert’s reports drawn up for the second, third and present valuation periods. In the annex are available documents related to legal and construction developments of holiday cottage.

THE DYNAMICS OF FEAR OF CRIME AMONG LGBT PEOPLE : A QUANTITATIVE INVESTIGATION

Fear of Crime remains a relevant theme in criminological research. Its associations include damage to psychological well-being, decreases in collective cohesion and trust, and populism. Located in the field of victimology, previous research found that significant predictors for Fear of Crime are: Previous Victimization, Previous Victimization with a Hate-Motive, Severity of Previous Victimization, Perceived Risk and Risk Control. This study will aim to investigate if the dynamics of Fear of Crime established by previous research are applicable in a LGBT population. Subsequently the sub-groups sexual minorities, bisexuals, and trans-people are compared, filling a literature gap. The sample consists of 353 self-identified LGBT people at Malmö University who filled out a self-report survey inquiring about previous victimization, fear of crime, perceived motives of previous victimization, perceived risk of victimization, and tactics to reduce risk of victimization. The predictors were entered into a block-wise multiple regression model as well as a path-analysis. Both Perceived Risk and Risk Control were entered after the other predictors. The results showed that Severity of Previous Victimization was significantly (p < .001) and positively (β = .267) predicting Fear of Crime. Additionally, Severity of Previous Victimization significantly (p < .01) and positively (β = .206) predicted Perceived Risk which in turn predicted (p < .001, β = .208) Fear of Crime. Risk Control did not have a statistically significant effect size (p > .05). In the sub-group comparison, Perceived Risk did not have a significant effect size (p > .05) among the trans-people. The study concludes that Severity of Previous Victimization both has a direct and indirect effect on Fear of Crime, in the LGBT population, but not among the trans-people sub-group, suggesting that future research as well as policy makers need to take such differences into account. Similar conclusions are drawn regarding Risk Control.

The Impact of Personalization on Consumer Purchase Intention in Online Shopping

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to investigate the impact that personalization as a phenomenon has on consumer purchase intention. Therefore, examining personalization as a phenomenon was performed through three different variables on which personalization has a significant influence. These variables are previous purchase experience, privacy concerns, and attitudes towards personalization.  Method: The primary data collection was developed through a quantitative research approach. Moreover, the survey was used as an instrument to collect the  data from individuals that have made online purchases at least one time in  the past 12 months.  Conclusion: To conclude, our findings show that previous purchase experience  and attitudes towards personalization positively impact consumer purchase intention. On the other hand, our findings show that privacy concerns have no significant correlations with consumer purchase intention and attitudes towards personalization, which means that privacy concerns don't have any impact on purchase intention and attitudes towards personalization.

[pt] É comum tratarmos grupos como agentes capazes de interagir intencionalmente com o mundo e, para identificar mentes de grupos, usamos os mesmos mecanismos de percepção de mente em outras pessoas. No caso de cortes, a expressão de seus julgamentos coletivos pode variar de acordo com o grau de liberdade que elas permitem a seus membros. Elas podem publicar uma decisão única, restringindo a publicidade do processo deliberativo (per curiam) ou, ao invés de uma opinião coletiva da corte, podem publicar o conjunto de votos individuais de seus membros (seriatim). Nesse último caso, a identificação dos posicionamentos coletivos da corte pode ser difícil. Esta tese sustenta que, por conta de suas decisões seriatim, o Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) diminui sua entitatividade, o que torna suas razões para decidir difíceis de serem identificadas e limita sua capacidade de uniformizar a jurisprudência nacional através de seus precedentes. No primeiro capítulo, este trabalho trata das condições teóricas para a possibilidade de atitudes intencionais de grupos. Há duas possíveis maneiras de se especificar a natureza da intencionalidade de grupo: uma que se baseia na disposição dos membros do grupo de adotarem a perspectiva coletiva e outra que aponta para a capacidade dos membros de agirem racionalmente enquanto grupo. Da perspectiva de um observador, a noção de mente de grupo exige outras condições. O segundo capítulo especifica as formas como a discussão sobre intencionalidade de grupo podem ser aplicadas à prática judicial. Dependendo da forma como a corte apresenta suas decisões, pode ser que as suas razões motivadoras não sejam claramente distinguíveis das razões endossadas apenas pelos membros individualmente. No terceiro capítulo, é indicado como isso interessa a cortes como o STF, que lidam com questões politicamente controversas, mas que precisam demonstrar capacidade de agir motivadas por razões para que seus precedentes sejam respeitados. Ao optar por publicar decisões seriatim, a corte indica abertura à diversidade de opiniões, reduzindo a sua aparência de entidade coesa. Como consequência, as razões coletivamente aceitas para decidir não são claramente apresentadas. O último capítulo lida com pesquisas psicológicas recentes, que indicam que uma condição para a atribuição de intencionalidade a um grupo é que ele tenha alta entitatividade. Ações coordenadas e objetivos em comum entre os membros aumentam a entitatividade de um grupo e o torna mais propenso a ser reconhecido como um agente. / [en] It is common that we treat groups as agents capable of interacting intentionally with the world. To identify group minds, we use the same mechanisms we use in the perception of the minds of other individuals. In the case of judicial courts, the expression of their collective judgments may vary in accordance with the degree of freedom they allow their members. The courts may publish a single decision, maintaining their deliberative process secret (per curiam) or, instead of an opinion of the court, may publish the set of its members individual opinions (seriatim). In the latter case, identifying the court s collective judgment can be challenging. This dissertation argues that, due to its seriatim decisions, the Brazilian Supreme Court (STF) diminishes its entitativity, making the reasons behind its decisions harder to identify and hindering its ability to standardize national judicial decision-making through its precedents. The first chapter deals with the theoretical conditions for the possibility of group intentional states. There are two possible ways to specify the nature of this kind of intentionality: one that is based on the group members willingness to adopt the collective perspective (the collective acceptance model), and one that points to the members ability to act rationally as a group (the social choice approach). From an observer s perspective, the notion of a group mind demands other conditions. The second chapter specifies the ways in which the discussion of group intentionality could be applied to judicial practice. Depending on the ways in which the court presents its decisions, it could be that its motivating reasons are not clearly distinguishable from the reasons endorsed individually by its group members. The third chapter establishes how this is relevant for courts like the STF, which deal with politically controversial issues, but which need, also, to demonstrate the ability to act motivated by reasons for its precedents to be respected. By choosing to publish seriatim decisions, the court privileges openness to a diversity of positions over its entitativity. As a consequence, the collectively accepted reasons are not clearly stated. The last chapter deals with recent psychological research that suggest that one condition for group intentionality inference is that the group possess high entitativity. Coordinated actions and common goals among members increase the group s entitativity and make it more likely to be seen as an agent.

Burnout and engagement in a South African university student sample : a psychometric analysis / Carina Gauché

In recent years, the concept of burnout has been expanded and is currently a concern in all professions and occupational groups. Nowadays it is widely acknowledged that people in almost any occupation could develop burnout. To-date, only two studies have examined students' experiences of burnout. Therefore, research regarding this phenomenon in students seems warranted. The objective of this study was to firstly investigate the psychometric properties of adapted versions of the Maslach Burnout Inventory and Utrecht Work Engagement Scale in a sample of students from a tertiary institution, and secondly to consider the role of biographical variables in relation to burnout and engagement levels. A cross-sectional survey design was used to attain the research objectives. For the purposes of this study, an availability sample of students (N=353) majoring in Organisational Behaviour was drawn at one point in time. The adapted Maslach Burnout Inventory - Student Survey (MBI-SS) and the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale - Student Survey (UWES-S) as well as a biographical questionnaire were administered. Structural equation modelling confirmed two-factor models of Burnout (consisting of Exhaustion and Cynicism) and Engagement (consisting of Vigour and Dedication). Biographical variables which appear to be predictive of differences in levels of student burnout are home language, overall health status and consideration given to quitting their studies, while engagement is related to home language, academic year of study and consideration given to quitting studies. Does experience matter? : An exploratory study on how a manager’s previous experience influence the choice of foreign market entry

This research aims towards gaining a deeper understanding in how a manager’s previous experience influence which foreign entry mode chosen by a Swedish SME, where the manager acts as the decision-maker. Interviews were held with managers from different Swedish firms in order to collect empirical data that thereafter were analysed. In order to get a deeper understanding as to how the experience influenced the choice of entry mode, a qualitative research were implicated. The theory is based upon a conceptual framework where the managers previous experience is divided into educational background, international experience and position tenure. Furthermore, the conceptual framework includes the Uppsala Model, which the thesis is based upon, and entry modes as this is where focus lays. From the conceptual framework, the empirical findings and analysis is structured as a combined chapter. Based on the theory, empirical findings and analysis, a conclusion is presented, with the aim of answering the research question and also to fill the research gap regarding how a manager’s previous experience influence the choice of entry mode for Swedish SMEs. That a manager’s previous experience influenced was understood, however, that international experience influenced the choice to a higher extent is presented. An additional main implication is how the manager could be placed in line with the Uppsala Model, where the choice of entry modes can vary and incrementally shift to another entry mode as a manager gain experiential knowledge.

Esta pesquisa procura situar a análise do sistema de crédito na apresentação categorial de O Capital de Karl Marx para, a partir daí, problematizar alguns aspectos da crítica marxiana à sociedade baseada no valor. O primeiro deles diz respeito às dificuldades surgidas na explicação da reprodução ampliada do capital social total com a abstração do Estado no curso de toda análise ali efetuada, rebaixado ao detalhe da condição de faux frais da produção capitalista. Tal rebaixamento é questionado então a partir dos problemas derivados da aceitação acrítica, por parte de Marx, do conceito smithiano de trabalho \"improdutivo\". Com isto, retoma-se a crítica de Rosa Luxemburgo como forma de sugerir uma proposta para a resolução daquelas dificuldades a partir da reinserção do aparato estatal militarizado e das dívidas públicas nacionais, formadas por acumulação de capital fictício, na dinâmica de reprodução permanente dos pressupostos da acumulação primitiva como condição necessária da autoreprodução do valor. Tal inserção, finalmente, permite vislumbrar novos patamares críticos em relação aos supostamente necessários \"benefícios civilizatórios\" da modernização. / This research intents to situate credit system analysis in Karl Marx\'s Capital conceptual presentation and, therefore, discusses some questions about Marxian critical aspects of \"value based society\". First of them concerns difficulties that appears with the abstraction of the State in the total social capital amplified reproduction analysis. Marx would have reduce the State to the condition of faux frais of the capitalistic production in the course of his analysis. In my opinion, such consideration about the role of the State came since the issues from an uncritical acceptation by Marx of the smithian concept of \"unproductive\" labor. Therefore, we recover, necessarily, to the Rosa Luxemburg\'s critics to proposal an answer in face of these troubles inserting military state apparatu\'s and its public national debts. They would have been made up of fictitious capital accumulation, through the permanent reproduction dynamics of the presuppositions of the previous accumulation\'s as a necessary condition of the value\'s self reproduction. This reintroduction, at last, allows discern a new critical horizon about civilizatory \"necessary by suppose\" benefits of the modernization process.

The study departed from the Federal Constitution and went through legal texts, doctrinal jurisprudence and works. It was pointed out that in essence it is an administrative act of ampliative content, with the ability to, in the concrete case, convert into authorized an individual behavior that was forbidden until then. Its normative forecast makes the behavior generically forbidden, being able to be authorized individually, after the previous control of the Public Administration; and bases itself on the protection of the public interest, given the harmful consequences that the behavior presents if practiced without respecting certain requirements. The most reputable doctrinal treatment are the German and the Italian doctrines. In Brazil the doctrinal and jurisprudence works on this theme require further development. In general, the domestic doctrine considers the policy authorization as a discretionary and precarious act, in contrast of a license act, that is considered as a tied act. Such positioning does not describe the totality of the current normative texts. It was registered that the act of authorization of administrative policy is tied or discretionary depending on the rules of valid production, and it is the administrative act produced in exercise of previous control over the practice of determined activity or the production of a legal act / O desígnio foi de examinar o tratamento normativo, jurisprudencial e doutrinário adotado no Brasil em relação ao ato administrativo denominado autorização de polícia administrativa. O estudo partiu da Constituição Federal e passou por textos legais, jurisprudência e trabalhos doutrinários. Aponta-se, que a autorização de polícia é em sua essência um ato administrativo de conteúdo ampliativo, com efeito de tornar facultada no caso concreto conduta individual até então vedada. Sua previsão normativa torna a conduta vedada genericamente em conduta facultada individualmente, após o prévio controle da Administração Pública. Fundamenta-se na proteção do interesse público, em virtude da potencialidade danosa que esta conduta apresentaria se fosse praticada sem a observância de determinadas exigências. O tratamento doutrinário de maior expressão fica a cargo das doutrinas alemã e italiana. Observa-se que no Brasil trabalhos doutrinários e jurisprudenciais sobre o tema carecem de maior desenvolvimento. Em geral, a autorização de polícia é conceituada pela doutrina nacional como ato discricionário e precário, contrapondo-se ao ato de licença, que é conceituado como ato vinculado. Tal posicionamento não descreve a totalidade dos textos normativos atuais. Starting from the presupposed that such elements form strategies which facilitate the construction of meanings for the reading, and having as corpus four chronicles, the essay s objective was the carrying out of a study about the Intertextuality, the previous knowledge and the presupposed contents in this sort of text. The essay justified itself by the importance confronted by the PCN to the work with diversity of textual kinds, among which we spotted one chronicle, focusing the active reader s participation, emphasizing the formation of a critic reader accordingly the PCN suggest. In order to develop the essay the base was textual linguistics, especially the studies of Beaugrande & Dressles (1981), Beaugrande (1987), van Dijk (2002) and Koch & Travaglia (2003); also the postulates of Ducrot (1977; 1980; 1987) concerning the presumption concept. A methodology applied on the corpus consisted in identifying the elements which institute the relation between text and reader, analyzing how they act in the construction of the meanings. Therefore, at first we establish the analysis categories, considering the three general elements, previous knowledge, Intertextuality and presupposed contents. Afterwards, we identify these elements in the corpus and, then, we analyze them, verifying what their function in the construction of the meanings of the elected texts is. The carried out research made it possible to explore the previous knowledge demanded by the chronicles, the beginning of Intertextuality and the presupposed contents, evidencing that these phenomena constitute important strategies for the construction of the meanings in the reading of chronicles / A presente dissertação situa-se na linha de pesquisa Leitura, Escrita e Ensino de Língua Portuguesa e tem como tema a construção de sentidos na leitura de crônicas, investigando a importância, para esse processo, dos conhecimentos prévios, do princípio de intertextualidade e dos conteúdos pressupostos. Partindo do pressuposto de que tais elementos constituem estratégias facilitadoras da construção de sentidos na leitura, e tendo como corpus quatro crônicas, o trabalho teve como objetivo a realização de um estudo sobre a intertextualidade, os conhecimentos prévios e os conteúdos pressupostos nesse gênero de texto, verificando como eles atuam no processo de interação entre o leitor e o texto. O trabalho se justificou pela importância conferida pelos PCN ao trabalho com a diversidade de gêneros textuais, entre os quais destacamos a crônica, enfocando a participação ativa do leitor, enfatizando a formação de um leitor crítico conforme preconizam os PCN. Para o desenvolvimento do trabalho, fundamentamo-nos na Lingüística Textual, especialmente nos estudos de Beaugrande & Dressles (1981), Beaugrande (1987), van Dijk (2002) e Koch & Travaglia (2003); fundamentamo-nos também nos postulados de Ducrot (1977; 1980; 1987) acerca do conceito de pressuposição. A metodologia aplicada na análise do corpus consistiu em identificar elementos que instituem as relações entre texto e leitor, analisando como eles atuam na construção de sentidos. Para tanto, estabelecemos inicialmente as categorias de análise, considerando o três elementos gerais, conhecimentos prévios, intertextualidade e conteúdos pressupostos. Aside of the adopted proceedings to prove our search, we verified that, a general mode, students and teachers use cognitive strategies, in spite of been unprovided of the teoric embasements that enable the systemizetion of this yours reading classes / A presente pesquisa procura investigar e fazer conexões entre estudos relevantes acerca de leitura e formação de leitores, a fim de melhor compreendermos os aspectos significativos que envolvem o aprendizado e o desenvolvimento das práticas de leitura, assim como o papel do professor como agente motivador nesse processo. Com o propósito de compreender as circunstâncias em que os vínculos entre leitores e livros são constituídos, com vistas à formação de leitores, objetivamos tratar da leitura na Rede Pública Estadual e verificar a necessidade do uso de estratégias cognitivas na construção de sentidos do texto. Por tratar-se de procedimentos que compreendem aspectos cognitivos e metacognitivos, a percepção desses aspectos é fundamental para o desenvolvimento da competência leitora. Para a execução de nossa pesquisa, elaboramos um questionário investigativo destinado às professoras e uma proposta de leitura direcionada aos alunos, que permitem analisar o uso e a aplicação de estratégias cognitivas no ato da leitura. Fundamentados por teorias cognitivistas, verificamos que a motivação para a leitura, visando à construção de sentidos, deve ser respaldada em estratégias de leitura, elementos facilitadores que funcionam como agentes motivadores e permitem ao leitor monitorar sua própria compreensão. A partir dos procedimentos adotados para fundamentar nossa pesquisa, constatamos que, de um modo geral, alunos e professores utlizam estratégias cognitivas, apesar de estarem desprovidos de embasamentos teóricos que possibilitariam a sistematização de suas aulas de leitura
