This diploma thesis deals with the position, leisure time and life of a healthy sibling in a family which takes care of a family member with disabilities. The theoretical part is divided in four chapters, which are aimed at a family, a family with a disabled member, healthy siblings, constellations between siblings, the definition of leisure time, particular developmental psychological characteristics of healthy siblings and disabled siblings and also the actual division of disability. The practical part is based on qualitative research. Due to the semi-structured interviews it attempts to differentiate how the quality of leisure time and especially their own personal life is perceived by healthy siblings themselves.

The thesis deals with the leisure time of children in the period of adolescence, which are placed in children's homes, with analysis of assumptions and possibilities of actual implementation of their free time. The theoretical part presents the definition of leisure, its functions and educational appreciation. Characterized children's homes, leisure activities for children growing up in children's homes, educational influence in these institutions and individuals in the period of adolescence. The research section contains a more detailed presentation of respondents and two selected facilities: a children's home in South Moravia and a children's home in the Vysocina region. It describes and compares the leisure activities of children during adolescence, which are placed here and resolving the satisfaction of responding children of spending their free time.

Este trabalho tem como objetivo compreender a dinâmica de relações sociais que atravessava a sustentação de uma equipe master feminina de voleibol e as negociações que faziam parte do envolvimento desse grupo em campeonatos que aconteciam dentre um espaço/tempo reconhecido como de lazer. Para isso, realizei, durante treze meses, uma pesquisa etnográfica no contexto de uma das equipes pertencentes à Liga Master Feminina de Voleibol da cidade de Porto Alegre/RS. Ao longo do trabalho de campo, passei a observar e participar de treinamentos, jogos, jantares, festas, viagens e outros encontros do grupo, cujo registro desse convívio foi descrito nos diários de campo. Após esse período, foram realizadas cinco entrevistas semi estruturadas direcionadas a pessoas que me ofereceram a possibilidade de aprofundar alguns pontos de discussão. A partir da análise do material empírico produzido neste estudo e do diálogo constante com o referencial teórico, elaborei três eixos de discussão, os quais foram organizados numa trajetória que inicia pela compreensão das particularidades da equipe: a rotina do grupo dentro e fora das quadras, a equipe e sua representação na Liga Master e a seriedade desse grupo de mulheres no que tange ao lazer. Na sequencia, passei a olhar para as relações do grupo com a Liga Master e, por fim, desenvolvi um diálogo com autores do campo do lazer que me ajudaram a pensar sobre o cotidiano dessas mulheres e suas relações com o esporte. Sobre o primeiro ponto, foi possível analisar a rotina do grupo dentro e fora das quadras e compreender que para pertencer à equipe era preciso mostrar um rendimento esportivo legítimo para aquele contexto e, não menos significativo que essa particularidade, era indispensável saber estar entre as mulheres fora do espaço das quadras para sustentar-se na sua coesa rede de sociabilidade. No segundo eixo, ficou evidenciado que a trajetória de formação dos campeonatos da Liga Master estava entrelaçada ao reconhecimento dessa equipe como um grupo que privilegiava os laços de sociabilidade em relação aos resultados das partidas, mas que procurava também se manter engajado nas competições e estabelecer disputas acirradas dentro dos jogos. Por fim, procurei mostrar como uma dimensão do cotidiano passava a ser negociada com as outras esferas da vida social e, particularmente, como a seriedade fazia sentido e tornava aquele espaço/tempo envolvente. Entre as possibilidades e escolhas que atravessam a formação dos espaços e tempos significados como de lazer, aquele grupo de mulheres optava por investir e dedicar-se a uma prática esportiva levada a sério, na qual as brincadeiras coexistiam com as exigências do rendimento esportivo ligado ao voleibol. / This study aims to understand the dynamics of social relations that permeated the sustenance of a master female volleyball team and the negotiations that were part of that group involvement in championships that took place among a space/time recognized as recreational. For this purpose, I performed an ethnographic research during thirteen months in the context of one of the teams belonging to the Master Female League of Volleyball from the city of Porto Alegre/RS. Throughout the fieldwork, I started to observe and participate in training, games, dinners, parties, trips and other group meetings, whose record of interaction was described in the field diaries. After this period, five semi-structured interviews were performed, aimed at people who offered me the possibility to delve into some discussion points. From the analysis of the empirical material produced in this study and the ongoing dialogue with the theoretical framework, I elaborated three axes of discussion, which were organized in a way that begins by understanding the particularities of the team: the team’s routines on and off the court, the team and its representation in the Master League and the seriousness of this group of women when it comes to leisure. Hence, I looked at the relationships of the group with the Master League and, finally, I developed a dialogue with the authors of the leisure area that helped me on reflecting about the everyday lives of these women and their relationships with the sport. Regarding the first axis of discussion, it was possible to analyze the group routine on and off the courts and understand that, to belong to the team, it was necessary to show a legitimate sport performance for that context and, not less significant than this peculiarity, it was also essential to know how to be among women off the court and how to be sustained in their cohesive network of sociability. In the second axis, it became evident that the trajectory of the formation of the Master League championships was linked to the recognition of this team as a group that favored the bonds of sociability rather than the matches’ outcomes, but this team also sought to remain engaged in competitions and settle heated disputes when in the games. Ultimately, I tried to demonstrate how a daily dimension came to be negotiated with other spheres of social life and, particularly, how seriousness made sense and turned that space/time absorbing. Among the possibilities and choices that cross the formation of spaces and times meant as leisure, this group of women sought investing and engaging in a sportive practice that was considered serious, in which the jokes coexisted with the demands of the sports performance related to volleyball.

Para o desenvolvimento desse estudo optamos no primeiro momento, por uma revisão bibliográfica que possibilitasse o aprofundamento nas questões referentes à formação dos conceitos de lazer ao longo da história, pretendendo também relatar o caminho percorrido pela formação para o lazer dentro da Educação Física, fazendo disso o nosso aporte teórico. Para coleta de dados usamos um questionário misto, aplicado via em email, em alunos concluintes do curso em análise. As questões buscavam informações sobre o tema lazer, formação e atuação profissional. Foi possível identificar que os respondentes tem aproximação com o lazer, o reconhecem em sua multiplicidade temática e ao mesmo tempo, o veem como um potencial espaço profissional, tendo a compreensão de seu papel formativo. / ABSTRACT The presents research work is part of the Graduate Program in Education( PPGE ) , Faculty of Education , Federal University of Bahia ( UFBA ) in Education subject line, Body Culture and Leisure, situating its object the investigation of matters relating to Leisure, Vocational Training , Physical Education and Education, discussing the understandings building about leisure, from the training of undergraduate course in Physical Education, more specifically from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA ) situated in the Salvador, capital city of the Bahia. Research is established on the basis of following question: which are the prospects of the Physical Educations’ graduates from the Federal University of Bahia, about the formation and work in the leisure area? Based on these elements, our research aims to delve into the issues relating to the history of education for leisure in Physical Education, and thereby identifying the leisure understandings acquired by students of Physical Education courses from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA). For the development of this study we chose a literature review that would allow deepening the issues concerning the formation of leisure concepts throughout history, also intending to report the path taken by Training for recreation within the Physical Education, makes it our theoretical framework. In data collect stage was used a questionnaire miscellaneous, sent from e-mail for graduating students of the course selected. The questions search for data about the Leisure, Graduation and Vocational Training. was possible to found answers about the access from the students towards the Leisure. Esta pesquisa de perspectiva histórica possibilita vislumbrar a construção dos espaços de lazer na cidade de Alagoinhas e a representação de suas práticas. O problema norteador apontado foi: Qual o processo histórico que fundou a estruturação das práticas de lazer e de sociabilidade na cidade de Alagoinhas-BA? Evidenciamos que no contexto da investigação, a ideia de lazer não se apresentava consolidada. Falamos de um processo de construção desse fenômeno. Nosso objetivo foi compreender como as práticas de lazer e sociabilidade se estruturaram na cidade, e ainda, apontar e analisar as práticas culturais e suas representações à época. Como metodologia lidamos com a Nova História Cultural. O recorte temporal está entre 1863 e 1930. As fontes usadas foram os periódicos que circulavam na época e produções literárias e acadêmicas acerca do nosso objeto, no período. A partir desta análise é possível concluir que mesmo sem a apropriação dos conceitos atuais, já haviam ações de lazer sendo desenvolvidas na localidade, visando atender os novos ideais de sociabilidade e divertimento, intrínsecos ao processo de modernização. Entre as atividades registradas vemos a influência da população imigrante que chegou a cidade, a partir da construção da ferrovia, como um fator que estimulou as práticas que repercutiram nos novos hábitos culturais da sociedade. / Abstract This study boards the structuring of the leisure and of the sociability in Alagoinhas-Bahia, between the end of the century XIX and beginning of the XX, period in which the country was lived one more process of modernization. This action takes to the Freguesia de Santo Antonio das Lagoinhas new ideals of sociability and amusement that they would influence the structuring of the city of Alagoinhas. This inquiry of historical perspective makes possible to glimpse the construction of the leisure spaces in the city of Alagoinhas and the representation of his practices. The problem guiding pointed was: Which the historical process that did establish the structuring of the practices of leisure and of sociability in the city of Alagoinhas-BA? We show up that in the context of the investigation, the leisure idea was not presenting itself consolidated. We talk about a process of construction of this phenomenon. Our objective went to understand like the leisure practices and sociability they were still structured in the city, and, to point and to analyze the cultural practices and his representations to the period. We used as methodology the New Cultural History. The cutting out historical is between 1863 and 1930. The worn-out fountains were the magazines that were circulating in the time and literary and academic productions about our object, in the period. From this analysis it is possible to end what even without the appropriation of the current concepts, already existed leisure actions being developed in the town, aiming to attend the new ideals of sociability and amusement, intrinsic to the process of modernization. Between the registered activities we see the influence of the immigrant population that reached city, from the construction of the railroad, like a factor that stimulated the practices that had repercussions on the new cultural habits of the society.

Apresentou o objetivo de analisar, a partir das ações de lazer da Secretaria Municipal de Educação - SEMEC / Coordenadoria de Esporte e Lazer- CEAL de Belém (PA), os métodos e estratégias de gestão pública implementadas no centro comunitário COMBAT, questionando a promoção da participação popular na construção de políticas na cidade. A investigação norteou-se pela seguinte questão: As ações de lazer, do poder público municipal no Centro comunitário COMBAT de 2001 a 2004 promoveram uma gestão participativa com a comunidade? Nossa opção teórico-metodológica foi pela utilização das matrizes teóricas marxistas, representadas principalmente por Gramsci. Ouvimos Sujeitos da comunidade e da equipe gestora que vivenciaram as ações dos projetos “Felizcidade” e “Lazer: Porque Esta Rua é Minha” (bairro da Castanheira, centro comunitário COMBAT). Os resultados revelaram que a participação na gestão, efetivou-se em algumas etapas e com graus de decisão em nível da consulta e deliberação, não chegando ao nível da formulação das políticas de lazer. Consiste em uma pesquisa histórica sobre a formação humana no processo da luta pela terra, buscando verificar estratégias educativas não-formais, com foco na cultura corporal e no lazer, tendo como base a oralidade, que re-significam os saberes populares. Buscou-se analisar algumas possibilidades de educação e aprendizagem, bem como estratégias utilizadas no processo da marcha, registrando a dinâmica educativa não-formal ocorrida durante este trajeto, descrevendo alguns de seus passos e a práxis pedagógica ali processada. Como metodologia da pesquisa, foi utilizada a pesquisa histórica, priorizando as fontes orais e imagéticas, e, como instrumentos, as entrevistas com militantes e filmagem da dinâmica organizativa que caracteriza a temática abordada. Conclui-se que ações educativas, como essas, são fundamentais e viabiliza a invenção de novas formas de sociabilidade. The activities on leisure and tourism are connected with the trips that involve nature have extended adhesions in this type of economic activity in international level. Ordinarily these are called as tourist activity. In Alagoas groups and companies of leisure and tourism they have proportionate trips that involve nature for the call Atlantic Forest, in the tourist region of the Quilombos. It is motivated mainly by providing to the travelers and tourist a bigger contact of the man with the nature. As objective generality is intended to identify to the groups of leisure and companies of tourism that act with cooperation between itself, as well as the proportionate activities for the trips that involve nature, being overcome for base the sustainable development. For in such a way, they had been used as methodological referential to the qualitative interpretation of the data, as well as the analysis of the content. In way that in this study if becomes evident the absence of joint of organizational strategies will be the development of these activities not only on the part of the companies and groups, but, over all in the public politics. Therefore, the necessity of change in the model of management on the part of these companies and groups, as in the institutional sectors, in order to provide greater conditions for this sector of tourism and leisure. Beyond revealing greater commitment and responsibility it stops with the one with the insertion of the community in a process of sustainable local development of these activities in the tourist region of the Quilombos, in the state of Alagoas. / As atividades de lazer e turismo ligadas às viagens à natureza têm ampliado adesões neste tipo de atividade econômica em nível internacional. Comumente estas são denominadas como atividade turística. Em Alagoas grupos e empresas de lazer e turismo têm proporcionado viagens à natureza com destino à chamada Mata Atlântica, na região turística dos Quilombos. São motivados principalmente por proporcionarem aos lazeristas e turistas um maior contato do homem com a natureza. Como objetivo geral pretende-se identificar os grupos de lazer e empresas de turismo que atuam com cooperação entre si, bem como as atividades proporcionadas pelas viagens à natureza, tomando-se por base o desenvolvimento sustentável. Para tanto, foram utilizados como referencial metodológico à interpretação qualitativa dos dados, bem como a análise do conteúdo. De modo que, neste estudo, torna-se evidente a ausência de articulação de estratégias organizacionais para o desenvolvimento destas atividades não só por parte das empresas e grupos, mas, sobretudo nas políticas públicas, havendo, portanto a necessidade de mudança no modelo de gestão por parte destas empresas e grupos, como nos setores institucionais, a fim de proporcionar maiores condições para este setor de turismo e lazer, além de manifestar maior compromisso e responsabilidade para com a inserção da comunidade num processo de desenvolvimento local sustentável destas atividades na região turística dos Quilombos, estado de Alagoas.

The dissertation presents the social dynamics in the valuation of powerful sound equipment use as a means of conducting leisure activities and musical entertainment in the outskirts of São Miguel dos Campos, a municipality in the state of Alagoas, Brasil. From a figurative perspective, a context of social tensions has been settled since the enhancement of powerful sound equipments for the popular leisure brought the city into an issue of public order status. This work seeks to show that beyond the social criticism related to high sound equipments as public disturbance factors of vicinal conflicts, such apparatus have been transiting within the outskirts of the city in areas of social prestige disputes. The research methodology was plural in that it made use of a diversity of data collection methods of the qualitative research and the flexibility pertinent to it. Such diversity is especially provided by the ethnographic observation as a research strategy, from which a range of techniques had been tried. As a result, it can be assumed that in recent years, changes in the popular leisure modes of organization in the city resulted in the establishment of new collective objects of desire. It effectively occurs in two ways. Leisure constraints from the outskirts to the household area, within a scenario in which markets provide stereotypes to self-realization, leads to an increase in the value of the powerful sound equipments, which in the local economy is friendly networked. Furthermore, the practices of high sound exposition are constituted through the identification among individuals with the assembling of the equipments. A specific evaluation space concerning sound-lovers and high-sound disputes is set up in the universe of equipment assembling. / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / Este trabalho de dissertação apresenta dinâmicas sociais de valorização de equipamentos sonoros potentes como meio de realização de práticas de lazer e diversão musical nos bairros residenciais das periferias de São Miguel dos Campos, cidade do interior do estado de Alagoas. A partir de uma perspectiva figuracional, remonta-se o contexto de tensões sociais que a valorização da potencialização sonora trouxe para a cidade, fazendo a dimensão do lazer popular alçar ao status de problema de ordem pública. O trabalho procura mostrar que, para além do olhar da crítica social dos equipamentos sonoros como perturbação pública surgido dos conflitos vicinais, esses objetos transitam nas periferias da cidade em espaços de valorização e disputas por prestígio social. O caminho pelo qual a pesquisa se fez foi plural. Foi amparada fortemente na diversidade de métodos de recolha de dados da pesquisa qualitativa e na flexibilidade que lhe é característica. Essa diversidade se configurou sobretudo na observação etnográfica como estratégia de pesquisa, a partir da qual uma gama de técnicas foram mobilizadas. Como resultados, mostra-se que as transformações nos modos de organização do lazer popular nos últimos anos na cidade resultaram na plasmação de novos objetos de desejo coletivo. Ela surge, no que tange a valorização sonora, de forma dupla. As restrições do lazer nas periferias ao espaço do lar, diante de um cenário em que os mercados fornecem imagens-guia para a autorrealização, faz inflar o valor dos equipamentos sonoros potentes em uma economia das expressões entre redes confraternais. Além disso, as práticas de potencialização sonora se constituem por meio da identificação de indivíduos com a montagem de equipamentos sonoros. Um espaço de avaliação próprio aos amantes de sons, e de disputas pela potencialização sonora, estabelecem-se no universo da montagem.

As categorias de atividades de lazer não foram associadas aos jovens estudantes moradores da zona urbana e rural do município, tampouco, aos jovens que somente estudam e aos jovens que estudam e trabalham. A categoria Rapazes foi associada às Atividades Físicas e Esportivas e a categoria Moças foi associada às Atividades Sociais e Familiares, Atividades Culturais e de Entretenimento e Atividades Religiosas. Pelas escolhas de lazer dos jovens, os resultados sugerem que os equipamentos esportivos e culturais disponíveis não contemplam plenamente as necessidades do público juvenil; as tecnologias de informação têm atraído os jovens para dentro de seus lares; as relações entre os jovens da zona urbana e da zona rural facilitam a influência mútua entre as culturas e práticas das duas regiões; os rapazes desenvolvem grande parte de suas atividades de lazer fora de casa, enquanto as moças têm seus espaços de circulação vinculados à residência; a maioria das atividades realizadas pelos jovens estudantes não despenderam recursos financeiros; os equipamentos públicos e alguns eventos municipais são oferecidos à comunidade de forma gratuita. As distintas preferências de lazer dos jovens estudantes do Ensino Médio da Rede Pública do município de Eldorado do Sul reforçam a ideia de que as juventudes são múltiplas. Ao trabalhar com políticas públicas direcionadas para a população jovem, os setores públicos devem considerar que a categoria juventude engloba uma série de peculiaridades que constituem os jovens como sujeitos com capacidade para expressar seus interesses e de seus grupos com relação ao lazer. / Leisure activities are known and widespread as essential practices for a better quality of life and, for the young population development process. This thesis was to analyze the leisure activities of young high school students of Eldorado do Sul/RS. We attempted to identify possible associations between categories of leisure activities and the youth of urban and rural areas; among the categories of leisure activities and genders and between the categories of leisure activities and young people who only study and those who study and work. A non-probabilistic sample was composed of 298 young people of both sexes, aged 15 and 24, who attended high school in the state schools of the public network of Eldorado do Sul at the end of 2009. With descriptive approach, the study used as a research tool questionnaire called Map Leisure Youth, used by the Center for Research in Public Policy Sport and Leisure City - Nupe City/UFRGS (Núcleo de Pesquisa em Políticas Públicas de Esporte e Lazer da Cidade - NUPÉ da Cidade/UFRGS). For the treatment of the data was used descriptive statistics with absolute values and percentages and for the association analysis used the inferential statistics, in applying the chi-square test, with a 5% significance level. All analyzes were performed using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) for Windows, version 18.0. The results showed that leisure activities held more frequently by young students at the end studied week were the Domestic Leisure activities subsequently the Social and Family Activities and then the Physical Activities and Sports. The categories of leisure activities were not associated with young students living in the urban and rural area of the municipality, either, to young people who only study and young people who study and work. The Boys category was associated with and physical education and the Girls category was associated with social activities and family, cultural activities and entertainment and religious activities. The leisure choices of young people, the results suggest that sports and cultural facilities available not fully contemplate the needs of young audience; information technology have attracted young people into their homes; relations between the youth of urban and rural facilitate the mutual influence between cultures and practices of both regions; boys develop much of their leisure activities outside the home, while the girls have their circulation areas linked to residence; most of the activities carried out by young students not spent funds; public facilities and some municipal events are offered free to the community. The distinctive leisure preferences of young high school students Public Network Eldorado do Sul municipality reinforce the idea that youths are manifold. When working with public policies for young people, the public sector should consider the youth category encompasses a number of peculiarities that make up young people as individuals with the capacity to express their interests and their groups regarding leisure.
