[pt] Análise de Bodenlos, uma autobiografia filosófica, de Vilém Flusser. A abordagem discute três pontos importantes para compreensão da construção das identidades do filósofo judeu, natural de Praga, que se exilou no Brasil devido à perseguição nazista: a ruptura com a noção de tempo historicista e a possibilidade de identidades múltiplas convivendo simultaneamente; o clima de absurdo e aqueles sujeitos que estão sempre fora do lugar; e a língua como espaço onde as identidades podem ser construídas e pensadas. / [en] This article is a analysis of Bondelos, a philosophical autobiography, from Vilém Flusser. The approach discusses three important points for understanding the construction of the Jewish philosopher’s identities, a native from Prague, who was exiled in Brazil due Nazism persecution: first – He breaks with the historicista notion of time and the possibility of multiple identities coexisting simultaneously; second - the climate of absurdity and those who are always out of place; and thirdthe language as a space where identities can be constructed and thought out.

[pt] O desenvolvimento de ambientes femto-celulares traz um considerável aumento geral na capacidade de sistemas heterogêneos, porque a distância entre o transmissor e receptor é pequena em comparação ao clássico desenvolvimento macro-celular. Mas as aplicações e serviços que estão vindo, precisam de ainda mais capacidade. Na procura desse ganho na capacidade, se criam técnicas e procedimentos que trabalham principalmente na camada física e MAC. Entre elas temos o reuso de frequência unitário, o qual não se logra explodir toda a capacidade do sistema, por isso implementamos o reuso de frequência fracionário que encara diretamente os problemas de interferência co-layer (entre femto-estações) e cross-layer (entre macro e femto estações). Este reuso fracionário de frequência se da só a nível de femto-estações, deixando à macro-estação que utilize toda a banda de frequência atribuída para a macro-célula. Os claros resultados obtidos no nível do SINR, mostram as melhoras. Tomando como base a plataforma anterior de reuso fracionário, analisamos as estrategias de programação do recurso frente a uma aplicação de vídeo. As estrategias pesquisadas são classificadas em: aquelas que tomam em consideração a qualidade do canal e aquelas que além da qualidade do canal consideram dentro da sua métrica requerimentos QoS, em especial o retardo máximo. Estas ultimas são as mais adequadas quando se opera com aplicações de tempo real (vídeo conferência e VoIP). Para contemplar a faixa de funcionamento das melhoras obtidas, todos os cenários de simulação foram sometidos a três intensidades de trafego (leve, médio e pesado). Medidas feitas da vazão, retardo, perda de pacotes e níveis de justiça na repartição mostram os benefícios do efeito combinado do reuso fracionário como o algoritmo de programação utilizado. Com os resultados obtidos fazemos uma escolha do padrão de reuso mais adequado junto com o algoritmo que proporcionam o melhor rendimento, dependendo do cenário (familiares ou empresariais) e da aplicação a utilizar. / [en] The development of femtocells environments brings a considerable increase in the capacity of the heterogeneous systems, because the distance between the transmitter and the receptor is smaller than the classic macrocell development. But the applications and services that are coming need more capacity yet. Looking for that gain of capacity, has been created techniques and methods that work mainly in the physical and MAC layer. Among them, the unitary frequency reuse, that does not achieve to exploit all the system s capacity. Hence we have implemented the fractional frequency reuse that aim directly the problems of co-layer interference (Between femto base stations) and cross-layer interference (Between macro and femto base stations). This fractional reuse of frequency is only among femto-stations, leaving the macro-station that use all the frequency band given for the macro cell. The bright results obtained in the SINR level show the improvements. Based on previous platform of fractional reuse, we analyze the scheduling strategies of the resource with a video application. The studied strategies are classified in: those that consider the quality of the channel and those that beyond the quality of channel consider QoS requirements in its metric, specially the maximum delay time. The last are more adequate when operating with video applications in real time (Video conference, VoIP). To see the operating range of the obtained improvements, all the simulation scenarios were submitted to three intensities of traffic (light, medium and heavy). Measurements of throughput, delay, packet loss ratio and fair levels in the distribution show the benefits of the joint effects of the fractional reuse as the scheduling algorithm used. With the obtained results, we do a selection of the more adequate reuse pattern together with the algorithm that provides the best performance, depending of the scenario (home or business environment) and the applications to use.

[pt] O anil ou índigo é um corante azul de origem vegetal com registros de uso que remetem às primeiras civilizações. Sua tradição como planta tintorial vem da ótima qualidade de tingimento que oferece em fibras animais e vegetais. Além disso, as folhas da anileira tem a peculiaridade de fornecer também a cor azul como pigmento, insolúvel, e assim, aumentar suas possibilidades de uso. A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo explorar possíveis aplicações do pigmento índigo natural em materiais artísticos como uma forma de ampliar a gama de produtos disponíveis com essa matéria-prima. Experimentos foram realizados para testar o comportamento, a resistência à luz e a aplicabilidade do pigmento em quatro técnicas de pintura diferentes. O desempenho dos materiais desenvolvidos foi suficiente para sustentar o uso da versão natural do pigmento índigo como alternativo à sintética, apresentando ainda a vantagem de ser menos tóxica e poluente. Espera-se que o aumento da variedade de aplicações do índigo natural estimule, por consequência, o interesse pelo desenvolvimento de novos produtos e também por sua história, favorecendo o resgate de conhecimento e as práticas tradicionais de cultivo de anileira em localidades brasileiras com histórico de cultivo no passado. / [en] The indigo is a blue dye from vegetal origin with records of its use that turns back in to the first civilizations. It’s tradition as a dye plant comes from the great quality of dyeing it offers for both animal and vegetal fibers. Besides that, the indigo plant leafs has the peculiarity of providing also the color blue as insoluble pigment, and so, it increases its using possibilities. The present research has as a go, to explore possible applications of the natural indigo pigment in artistic materials as way of extending the range of available products with this raw material. Experiments have been conducted in order to test behavior, resistance towards light, and the pigment applicability over four different dyeing techniques. The performance of the developed materials were enough to support the use of the natural version of the indigo pigment as an alternative to the synthetic, presenting yet the advantage of being less toxic and pollutant. Its expected that the increase of application variety of the natural indigo will stimulate, by consequence, the interest for the development of new products, and also, for its story, favoring the rescue of the traditional knowledge and practices of the indigo plant cultivation in Brazilian localities with a history cultivation in the past.

[pt] A obra de Rui de Oliveira é uma das mais importantes coleções de ilustração da América Latina. Esta pesquisa propõe-se a observar o trabalho do ilustrador Rui de Oliveira, especificamente sua obra em preto e branco. Com uma atenção especial voltada aos elementos das obras que remontam às influências do cinema expressionista, que por sua vez, carrega heranças do teatro e suas técnicas narrativas. A pesquisa observa atentamente a construção da dramaticidade expressionista por seus mais importantes representantes no cinema. O trabalho estabelecerá por fim, relações estreitas entre obras específicas do ilustrador com obras representativas do cinema expressionista, através da análise visual de elementos formais. / [en] Rui de Oliveiras work is one of the most important collection of illustrations in the Latin America. This research proposes an observation on Rui de Oliveiras work, specifically his black and white illustrations. With a special attention to the works elements that reminisce to the expressionist movies influences, which, in turn, inherit aspects from the theatre and its narrative techniques. The research carefully observes the construction of the expressionist drama by its main representatives in the movies. In the end, this work will establish the narrow relationship between specific works by Oliveira and important selected pieces from expressionist films, through a careful visual analysis of their formal elements.

[pt] A quantidade de energia gerada através de energia eólica está aumentando no mundo todo. O Brasil tem um enorme potencial devido a sua localização geográfica e governo brasileiro dá claros sinais de que está propenso a investir neste tipo de energia. Previsões precisas de velocidade vento são essenciais para a operação planejamento do sistema elétrico de energia. Este trabalho tem como objetivo fazer previsões mais precisas na Nordeste do Brasil. Para isso, usamos um modelo que leva em conta as características diárias e o comportamento da memória longa. O modelo aplicado nesta região particular mostrou-se mais preciso que o modelo de persistência e outros modelos (por exemplo, modelo híbrido neuro-fuzzy) / [en] The amount of energy generated by wind sources is increasing all over the world. Brazil has a huge potential due to its geographic localization and the Brazilian Government has given a clear signal that is prone to invest in this kind of energy. Accurate wind speed forecasts are essential in the operation planning for the electrical wind power system. This work aims to make more accurate forecasts in the northeast of Brazil. To do so, we use a model that takes into account the daily characteristics and the long memory behavior. The model applied in this particular region proved to be more accurate than the persistence model and other models.

[pt] O surgimento de tecnologias de enlace de rádio baratas e com altas taxas de transmissão possibilitou o desenvolvimento de métodos rápidos e economicamente viáveis para a implantação de infraestruturas de comunicação, algo antes possível apenas com a utilização de enlaces confinados. Uma manifestação deste avanço são as malhas sem fio. A ratificação da emenda IEEE 802.11s, que versa sobre as modificações necessárias para o suporte a LANs sem fio com múltiplos saltos por parte de dispositivos compatíveis com 802.11, apresenta o protocolo HWMP, para a seleção de caminhos multissalto em uma malha. Em um ambiente com comunicação bidirecional, nem sempre e garantido que as melhores opções de ida e volta sejam coincidentes, uma condição conhecida como assimetria de caminhos, e que não e considerada pelo protocolo HWMP. Este trabalho apresenta algumas adaptações ao protocolo que buscam permitir a melhor utilização dos enlaces assimétricos, bem como mensura as diferenças de desempenho em comparação com o protocolo original. / [en] The rise of inexpensive, high-bitrate wireless link technologies enabled the development of rapid and affordable techniques for the deployment of communication infrastructures, something only available before with the use of wired links. The ratification of the IEEE 802.11s ammendment, which establishes the necessary modifications to 802.11-compliant devices for supporting multi-hop WLANs, presents the HWMP protocol, that addresses multi-hop path selection in a wireless mesh. In a bidirectional communication environment, it is not always ensured that the best options for sending and receiving data are coincident, a condition known as path asymmetry, and not considered by HWMP. This work presents some adaptations to the protocol, seeking to allow better use of asymmetric links, as well as measures its performance differences in comparison to the original protocol.

[pt] A experiência do trabalho pretende comprovar a atualidade de Jorge Mautner através da relação entre sua vivencialidade e sua obra, na dinâmica e movimento de sua criação e ação intempestivas visando a cultura nacional, desde seu surgimento (1958) com a canção-emblema Vampiro, até os dias de hoje: a força e a originalidade de sua música, sua literatura, em imanência com seu pensamento, na experimentação e afirmação do real a partir de sua invenção e discursividade. / [en] This work intends to show the Jorge Mautners present relevance by examining the relation between his living experience and his oeuvre, in the dynamics and movement of his untimely creation and action vis-à-vis Brazilian culture, from his debut with the emblematic song Vampiro (1958) to the present: the strength and originality of his music and literature, according to his thought, his experimentation and assertion of reality through inventiveness.

[pt] A salvação cristã representa o desejo inequívoco de Deus para todo ser humano e para toda teia complexa que faz parte e comporta sua realidade existencial, não ficando nada de fora, de maneira que quanto mais se realiza a pessoa humana, tanto mais ela se salva. Contudo, essa compreensão salvífica foi, ao longo dos tempos, perdendo essa compreensão o que provocou um encolhimento e mesmo um recolhimento subjetivo que marcou presença num estado de ser religioso que se tornou ressentido do mundo e da vida. Ressentimento esse que refluiu corrosivamente para o interior da espiritualidade cristã e que também esboroou a percepção da verdadeira imagem de Deus por parte daqueles que não transitam pela trilha da fé, criando fantasmas e equívocos que só fizeram separar aqueles que deviam trilhar juntos o caminho do dom, da comunhão e da liberdade de ser, a saber, Deus e a pessoa humana. Cônscios de que nesse quadro a maneira pela qual se exprimia essa relação com Deus (em especial quando essa expressão aparece deslocada em relação às novas bases da sensibilidade cultural moderna) foi, em sua medida, um dos motivos da contradição na ideia de salvação que trataremos, nessa dissertação, apoiados em parte da obra de Andrés Torres Queiruga, de reinterpretar o tema da salvação em profundo diálogo com as categorias do nosso tempo e em profunda sintonia com aquele que é o núcleo inconfundível para toda fé cristã: Deus é amor. Disso dependerá nossa coerência teológica no que tange atualizar a mensagem e a realidade que se desprende do tema da salvação enquanto realidade já presente e coerente com a realidade antropológica da pessoa humana, até aquele momento em que esta é elevada à profundidade de sua realização/salvação plena. / [en] Christian salvation is the unequivocal desire of God for every human being and the whole complex web that forms a part and involves its existential reality, not getting anything out, so that the more one realizes the human person, the more it saves. However, this understanding of salvation was, over time, losing that understanding what caused a shrinking and even a subjective gathering that was present in a state of being religious that became resentful of the world and life. This resentment that corrosively flowed into the Christian spirituality and also crumbled the perception of the true image of God by those who do not travel the path of faith, creating ghosts and mistakes that only separate those who should walk together the path of the gift , communion and the freedom of being, namely, God and human person. Aware that in this picture the way is expressed this relationship with God (especially when that expression appears offset from the new foundations of modern cultural sensitivity) was, in his measure, the reason for the contradiction in the idea of salvation which we will expose in this dissertation, supported in part of the work of Andres Torres Queiruga to reinterpret the theme of salvation in serious dialogue with the categories of our time and in profound harmony with that which is the distinctive core for all the Christian belief: God is love. It depends on our theological coherence in with respect to update the message and the reality that is detached from the theme of salvation as a reality already present and consistent with the anthropological reality of human beings, until such time as it is raised to the depth of his achievement / full salvation .

[pt] Este trabalho tem como objetivo lançar um olhar sobre o teatro contemporâneo, a partir de discussões voltadas para seus aspectos de recepção e criatividade. O recorte estabelecido a partir destes dois eixos foi escolhido tendo em vista que a importância do estudo da arte para a antropologia não está na obra artística em si, mas nas práticas que a rodeiam. Partindo das minhas próprias observações tanto no trabalho de campo em que acompanhei o processo de criação da peça Como cavalgar um Dragão, da Companhia de Teatro Inominável quanto a partir do meu lugar como espectador de teatro estabeleço algumas perspectivas teóricas a respeito das conexões entre arte e política no mundo contemporâneo. Neste sentido, através do estudo das práticas artísticas envolvidas na produção e na recepção da obra de arte, o entrelaçamento entre política e arte é percebido sob o signo da experiência, que envolve tanto artistas quanto espectadores. / [en] This paper aims to cast an eye over the contemporary theater, based on discussions focused on aspects of reception and creativity. The cutout set from these two axes was picked in view that the study of the importance of art to anthropology is not the artwork itself, but the practices that surround it. Starting from my own observations both in the field work that I accompanied the creation process of the play Como cavalgar um Dragão How to Ride a Dragon, from Unnamed Theatre Company as from my seat as a theater spectator I establish some theoretical perspectives about the connections between art and politics in the contemporary world. In this sense, through the study of artistic practices involved in the production and reception of the artwork, the intertwining of politics and art is perceived under the sign of experience, involving both artists and spectators.

[pt] A proposta da presente dissertação é buscar pontos na teoria psicanalítica de Freud e Lacan que contribuam para as filosofias da linguagem de Austin e de Wittgenstein. O sujeito dos atos de fala de Austin é pensado a partir do modelo freudiano dos atos falhos do sujeito do inconsciente, passando-se a levar em conta o conceito psicanalítico de pulsão no que diz respeito à fala como ato do sujeito. O ato de fala é colocado como subordinado às peripécias do que Lacan chamou de Grande Outro, uma vez que é na instância do simbólico que esse ato ocorre. No que diz respeito à teoria de Wittgenstein, o principal foco do trabalho é a relação do pensamento do filósofo com a afirmação lacaniana de que o inconsciente é estruturado como uma linguagem. A relação entre subjetividade e linguagem bem como o acesso que a subjetividade tem ao mundo através da linguagem são pensados na ordem do inconsciente; em outros termos, é pensada a relação entre o sujeito do inconsciente e o sujeito da linguagem. / [en] The purpose of this thesis is to search for ways in which Freud’s and Lacan’s psychoanalytical theory can contribute to Austin’s and Wittgenstein’s philosophies of language. We propose that the subject of Austin’s speech acts be framed within Freud’s theory of parapraxis as acts of the unconscious, so that the Freudian concept of drive can be related to speech as an act of a subject. The speech act is, then, thought as being subordinate to the vicissitudes of what Lacan called the Great Other, since the act occurs in what Lacan named the symbolic order. As to Wittgenstein’s theory, the focus of this work is on its relations to Lacan’s claim that the unconscious is structured like a language. The psychoanalytical concept of the unconscious is here used to consider the relations between language and subjectivity and the way how the subject accesses the world through language; in other words, the focus is on the relations between the subject of the unconscious and the subject of language.
