[pt] O presente trabalho se dedica a refletir acerca do contemporâneo em termos de trânsito, ritmo e proximidade. Acreditamos que o principal traço da contemporaneidade é um amadorismo singular, em nada atrelado aos usuais sentidos pejorativos, propiciado pelo advento de alguns artefatos e artifícios próprios da atualidade. Buscando aproximar diferentes contribuições que assumem uma postura crítica em nosso pensamento, e que também se afinam com nossas proposições, nossa reflexão atravessou algumas superfícies fundamentais dos nossos dias, como o debate em torno da autoria, bem como certas complexidades nas assimetrias das relações interculturais. Por fim, a escolha por nos aproximar, no âmbito das produções discursivas, de uma certa ideia de infância como estratégia recorrente e de extrema potência, nos fez entrever uma sugestiva contribuição entre arte e ciência entrelaçadas por um entendimento ampliado de poesia, que balizou nossas ponderações em torno da política e de uma ética na contemporaneidade. / [en] This work is dedicated to reflect about the contemporary in terms of transit, rhythm and proximity. We believe that the main feature of contemporary is a singular amateurism definitely not tied to the usual pejorative sense, afforded by the advent of some artifacts and artifices from nowadays. Seeking to bring different contributions that take a critical position in our thinking, and also tuned with our proposals, our reflection has gone through some fundamental areas of our days, as the debate on the authorship, as well as some of the complexities of the asymmetric intercultural relations. Finally, the choice to approach, within the discursive productions, of a certain idea of childhood as a extremely powerful and recurrent strategy, provides a suggestive glimpse of the contribution of art and science interlaced by an expanded understanding of poetry, that guided our considerations around the politics and ethics in a contemporary setting.

[pt] O mashup, estilo musical popularizado a partir dos primeiros anos do século XXI, ilustra como a democratização do acesso à internet e também aos softwares de download e edição de música em arquivo digital trouxe o ouvinte/usuário para o protagonismo nas novas formas de composição. Com o advento de programas como o Napster e outras redes de trocas de arquivo em MP3, o cidadão teve acesso a ferramentas diversas e reconfigurou a noção de produção musical, além de, naquele momento, instaurar outros ambientes de interação social. O mashup, um dos principais campos estéticos em que ficaram claros esses meios de criação, consiste em escolher trechos de duas ou mais músicas e recombiná-las a partir da junção delas, criando uma terceira composição. Ficam estabelecidos, assim, outros meios de apropriação e uso de bens culturais, deslocando sentidos como autoria, originalidade, cópia e produção artística. Deste modo, as tecnologias disponíveis possibilitam o surgimento de artistas que criam com as obras de outros, recombinando criações para o surgimento de novos discursos. É a partir dos mashups que se busca enxergar uma geração calcada em novos modos de se relacionar tanto entre si quanto com os bens culturais produzidos e divulgados pela internet. / [en] Mashup, a musical genre popularized at the beginning of the XXI century, illustrates how the democratization of access to the Internet as well as to software downloads and to digital music publishing brought the listener/user to the role of new methods of music composition. With the advent of programs such as Napster and other MP3 file sharing networks, citizens had access to a wide range of tools, reconfiguring the notion of music production, and also bringing up other social interaction environments. Mashup, one of the main aesthetic fields in which these ways of creating became clear, consists of excerpts chosen from two or more songs which are recombined, originating a third one. Thenceforth other means of appropriation and also of making use of cultural goods have been established, moving senses of authorship, originality, copy and artistic production. Thus these available technologies allow the emergence of artists who create using someone else s work, recombining these creations to raise other kind of discourses. It is from the mashups that it is aimed to understand one generation that is developed in new ways of relationships between each other as much as of enjoying cultural goods produced and spread out on the Internet.

[pt] Esta dissertação reflete sobre uma concepção de imagem associada à dimensão do tempo, tendo como elementos condutores as noções de lampejo e de constelação, utilizadas na definição de imagem dialética de Walter Benjamin. O trabalho é dividido em duas partes, na primeira os termos metafóricos lampejo e constelação são desdobrados em algumas das suas acepções na obra benjaminiana e, na segunda, se estabelece um diálogo com os elementos teóricos, anteriormente desenvolvidos, a partir de um pequeno conjunto de objetos singulares: um poema, uma imagem conceitual e algumas imagens plásticas. / [en] This essay reflects a conceptual image associated with the dimension of time and has as conducting elements the notions of Flash and Constellation used in the definition of the dialectical image by Walter Benjamin. This paper is divided in two parts: in the first, the metaphorical terms Flash and Constellation are deployed in some of their meanings in the Benjaminian work and, in the second, establishing a dialogue with the theoretical elements, previously developed from a small set of unique objects: a poem, a conceptual image and some plastic images.

[pt] Este trabalho apresenta uma modelagem numérica termo-mecânica para investigação da influência da presença da rocha salina no acréscimo de pressão em anulares confinados (APB). O fenômeno de APB é resultado da expansão térmica do fluido de perfuração trapeado nos anulares do poço, induzida pelo aquecimento gerado pela produção de hidrocarbonetos em temperatura superior ao restante do poço. Os evaporitos são formações que possuem um comportamento mecânico viscoelástico, apresentando deformação contínua a partir de uma tensão constante, processo conhecido como fluência. Este comportamento do sal não é atualmente considerado pelos simuladores utilizados pela indústria do petróleo durante o projeto de poços, no que tange dimensionamento para esta carga de pressão proveniente do APB. O objetivo deste trabalho é alcançado pelo desenvolvimento uma metodologia de cálculo do fenômeno de APB frente a formações salinas, através de um modelo numérico construído no software ABAQUS, utilizando o método dos elementos finitos. Diversas simulações foram realizadas com configurações distintas de litologia, temperatura e fluidos de perfuração, para analisar a influência do comportamento viscoelástico da rocha salina no crescimento de pressão em anulares confinados. Após análise de resultados obtidos, se concluiu que a rocha salina pode agir como aliviador da pressão gerada pela expansão térmica do fluido de perfuração confinado nos anulares do poço. As tensões geradas pelo APB levam a deformações de fluência que aumentam o diâmetro do poço e consequentemente o volume anular, acomodando parte do acréscimo de pressão gerado. / [en] This dissertation presents a thermo-mechanical numerical modeling to investigate the influence of the presence of salt rock on annular pressure build-up (APB). The APB phenomenon is a result of thermal expansion of confined drilling fluid in the well annulus, induced by heat generated by the production of hydrocarbons at temperatures above the remainder of the well. The evaporite formations have a viscoelastic mechanical behavior, with continuous deformation at constant stress, known as creep. This salt behavior is not currently considered by simulators used by the oil industry for the design of wells, with respect to this pressure load from APB. The objective is achieved by developing a methodology for calculating the APB effect for wells with saline formations, using a numerical model built in ABAQUS software, using the finite element method. Several simulations were performed with different configurations of lithology, temperature and drilling fluids, to analyze the influence of the viscoelastic behavior of the salt rock on pressure growth in confined annuli. After analyzing the results, it was concluded that the rock salt may act as a relief for the pressure generated by thermal expansion of the confined drilling fluid in the well annulus. The stresses generated by the APB lead to creep strains that increase the well diameter and consequently the annular volume, accommodating part of the generated pressure increase.

[pt] A presente dissertação tem por objetivo apresentar as bases biológicas do sistema comportamental de apego, apresentado por John Bowlby, e discutir a interação entre biológico e ambiental na construção do psiquismo do sujeito. Isto será realizado, primeiramente, através do estudo do ser humano como proveniente de uma origem animal, utilizando a Teoria da Seleção Natural das Espécies de Charles Darwin. Feito isso teremos então a base para o estudo comportamento humano. Tendo trilhado o caminho da biologia, podemos partir para o estudo do ambiente como fator imprescindível para a formação da humanidade. Não se pode falar do ser humano sem falar de suas relações. Serão apresentadas evidências de como o relacionamento social interfere fisicamente no aparato cerebral. Esta demonstração é de suma importância para a comprovação de que a interação entre o orgânico e o social é o que produz um psiquismo saudável ou doente, foco principal deste trabalho. / [en] This dissertation aims to provide the biological bases of behavioral system of attachment, presented by John Bowlby, and discuss the interaction between biological and environmental construction in the psyche of the subject. This will be achieved primarily through the study of the human being as from an animal, using the Theory of Natural Selection of Species Charles Darwin. Then we have then the basis for studying human behavior. Taking tracks the path of biology, we can go to the study of the environment as a factor essential for the formation of humanity. One can not speak of human beings without talking about their relationship. Will be presented as evidence of the social relationships affect physical apparatus in the brain. This demonstration is of utmost importance to prove that the interaction between the organic and the social is what produces a healthy mind or ill, the main focus of this work.

[pt] Criado em 1999, o Fundo de Financiamento Estudantil (FIES) é um programa do Governo Federal destinado à concesão de financiamentos a alunos matriculados no ensino superior não gratuito. O programa adquiriu relevância após sofrer substanciais alterações normativas e operacionais ao longo do ano de 2010. Como resultado, a procura pelo financiamento registrou aumento significativo. Esse fluxo de novos alunos financiados atingiu de maneira heterogênea diferentes Instituições de Ensino. No trabalho, exploramos essa heterogeneidade com o objetivo de investigar se esse relaxamento de crédito estudantil via FIES teve algum efeito sobre taxas escolares. Por meio de uma estratégia de diferença em diferenças, mostrando que o FIES causou aumento para aferir se o aumento é devido a uma diminuição de elasticidade ou a um deslocamento da curva de demanda. / [en] Created in 1999, the fundo de Financiamento Estudantil (FIES) is a Brazilian Federal Government program destined to offer tuition fee loans to students in higher education institutions. The program acquired relevance after substancial operational and normative changes throughout 2010. AS a result, the demand for student loans increased significantly. This flow of new students affected the higher education institutions in a heterogeneous way. In this paper, we explore this heterogeneity to investigate if this easing of student loan generated by FIES affected tuition fees. Through a difference in differences approach, we conclude that FIES caused an increase in tuition costs. Then, we apply a structural model of demand to investigate if this increase is due to a reduction in demand elasticity or a shift of the demand curve itself.

[pt] A origem desta dissertação se fundamentou na clínica com amputados numa Instituição de Reabilitação, onde a experiência corporal possui um lugar de destaque. A psicanálise estabelece um outro estatuto para o corpo, distinguindo-se do saber médico, que ultrapassa a dimensão orgânica/biológica, especialmente, quando forja o conceito de pulsão. Por seu desamparo inicial, o bebê humano depende de uma alteridade capaz de auxiliá-lo na construção de uma fronteira corporal através do seu investimento libidinal na criança. Esse outro, além de marcar eroticamente seu corpo de forma a delinear os circuitos pulsionais, fornece-lhe uma experiência de existência contínua e uma imagem identificatória que servem para o desenvolvimento do Eu e para a apresentação de um campo objetal possível. Determina ainda uma matriz simbólica que marca este corpo como desejante e falante. Diante dos destinos pulsionais possíveis, a experiência da perda invoca a capacidade de recriação através do trabalho de luto. O luto é a operação de recolhimento dos investimentos libidinais dos objetos perdidos, a fim de que possam ser novamente investidos. Esta pesquisa aborda uma perda peculiar: a de parte do corpo. A experiência da amputação impõe um remanejamento narcísico que resulta numa outra forma de experimentar o corpo na sua condição erógena e, por conseguinte, o mundo. Contudo, a experiência corporal também apresenta uma dimensão coletiva. É preciso reconhecer que a modernidade trouxe, com a Revolução Industrial, algo inovador na experimentação do corpo. Os avanços tecnológicos fizeram do corpo uma forma híbrida. O corpo como híbrido é, a um só tempo: natureza, técnicas, ciência, economias pulsionais, inconscientes e discursos. É assim que o uso da prótese pode ser pensado. / [en] This Essay is originated from a clinical experience with amputated people in a rehabilitation institution, where the corporeal experience has a great importance. Psychoanalysis establishes a place for the body which must be distinguished from the place it has in medical science, bypassing the organic/biological dimension, especialy because of the drive (Trieb) concept. Because of its helplessness, the human baby depends on some adult libidinal investment to construct a body-frontier. The adult, besides erotically marking its body, drawing the drive circuits, is necessary to allow a continuous experience of existence, and an image for identification, which serves the Ego and the object field development. This adult also helps in the construction of a symbolic matrix that shall make this body a desiring and speaking one. Among many drivedestinies, the experience of a loss requires the capacity of recreation through the work of mourning, which consists in taking back the libidinal investments from the lost objects to be able to invest them later in other objects. This research is about a peculiar loss: a body part. The experience of amputation requires a narcissistic reorganization which permits a new way of experimenting the body in its erogenous condition and, as a consequence, also the world. Nevertheless, bodily experience has, as well, a collective dimension. We must recognize that modernity brought, with the Industrial Revolution, something new to body experience. The technological advances made a body that is a hybrid form. The hybrid body is, at the same time: nature, techniques, science, drive economies, unconscious and discourse. This is how the prosthesis should be considered.

[pt] Este trabalho se propõe a estudar a mídia televisiva a partir de um mecanismo estratégico utilizado pela Rede Globo de Televisão, que pretende criar uma interação permanente entre a audiência e o conteúdo de suas novelas. A pesquisa estuda as relações que, através desse mecanismo, a emissora de televisão pretende estabelecer com seus telespectadores. Além de estudar as repercussões dessa estratégia massiva e permanente nos ambientes culturais da contemporaneidade, esse trabalho desvenda de que forma a mídia de chamadas de programação de uma telenovela é confeccionada, mostrando os instrumentos usados pela Rede Globo para alcançar seu objetivo de agendamento de seus temas junto à audiência. Investiga também, de que maneira essa mídia de chamada de programação pretende incorporar o conteúdo da telenovela nos discursos interpessoais. / [en] This work intends to study television media starting from a strategic mechanism used by Rede Globo de Televisão (Globo TV Network) that pretends to create a permanent interaction between the viewers and the contents of its soapoperas. The research will study the relations pretended to be established by the network with its audience through this mechanism. Aside of studying the repercussions of this massive and permanent strategy in cultural environment, this work will unmask how the commercial break calls media of a soap-opera is made, showing the instruments used by Globo Network to reach the aims of scheduling its themes next to the audience. It will investigate too by which means this media of commercial break calls intends to incorporate the soapopera s content in interpersonal speech.

[pt] Esta dissertação tem como objetivo avaliar qual a tendência do mercado de classificados nos próximos anos, tendo em vista as mudanças estruturais pelas quais ele vem passando em conseqüência das alterações ocorridas no ambiente. As incertezas causadas pelo surgimento dos classificados na Internet e a possibilidade desta indústria estar sob um processo de inovação de ruptura geram uma paralisia de investimentos no setor e força este mercado a repensar suas formas de negociação. A metodologia utilizada foi o método Delfos. Este método foi o escolhido por tratar-se de um setor desprovido de um histórico confiável, devido às constantes mudanças de padrão de consumo, e dos eventos atuais que provocam a insegurança sobre o futuro da indústria, proporcionando alterações inesperadas. O método permite a elaboração de uma previsão com base na opinião de especialistas, e tem como resultado uma avaliação do futuro da indústria com base na percepção de pessoas diretamente e indiretamente ligadas a ela. Através deste estudo foi possível verificar que existe uma forte tendência de mudança na estrutura atual dos negócios de classificados. Acredita-se que o setor esteja passando por um processo de inovação descontínua e que os classificados impressos perderão espaço para a Internet. Se por um lado pode-se concluir que o caminho digital é irreversível, também foi possível verificar a existência de uma clara expectativa que esta mudança não acontecerá dentro dos próximos cinco anos, mas sim de uma forma lenta e guiada pela velocidade das mudanças culturais e de distribuição de renda. / [en] This dissertation has as objective to evaluate which the trend of the market of classified in the next years, in view of the structural changes that it come passing in consequence of the occured alterations in the environment. The sector comes crossing a critical and important moment for definition of its future route. The uncertainties caused for the sprouting of the classified ones in the Internet come compelling this market to rethink its structures. This indefinition generates a harmful paralysis for the actions and investments of the sector. The method was the best choice bearing in mind that the industry does not have a trustworthy historical data, partially because of the chances on the consumption pattern, and the current events on the sector had resulted on unexpected turn a rounds on the industry`s development. The method on the basis of allows to the elaboration of a forecast the opinion of specialists, and has as resulted an evaluation of the future of the industry on the basis of the perception of indirectly on people direct and it. Through this study it was possible to verify that one strong trend of change in the current structure of the classified businesses exists of one gives credit that the current ones classified printed matters will lose space for the classified ones of the Internet. If on the other hand we tend to conclude that the digital way will be irreversible, also was possible to verify that, a clear expectation exists of that this change will not happen inside of next the five years, but yes of one it forms slow and guided for the speed of the cultural changes and distribution of income.

[pt] O propósito desta dissertação é refletir acerca das relações existentes entre literatura e cinema no que toca a representação do fenômeno da violência nas obras literárias e suas respectivas versões cinematográficas. Para isso foram utilizados três livros que apresentam a violência enfocada por diversos prismas. São eles: Estação Carandiru de Drauzio Varella, Cidade de Deus de Paulo Lins e O Invasor de Marçal Aquino. O exame feito por teóricos sobre a linha tênue que hoje divide ficção de realidade também foi abordado como um dos pontos de desenvolvimento da dissertação. O binômio violência/cultura que parece uma atual tendência na literatura contemporânea, ganhou espaço incisivo nesta análise. / [en] The intention of this dissertation is to reflect concerning the existing relations between literature and movies in which it touches the representation of the phenomenon of the violence in the literary compositions and its respective cinematographic versions. For this, three books had been used that present the violence focused for diverse prisms. They are: Estação Carandiru by Drauzio Varella, Cidade de Deus by Paulo Lins and O Invasor by Marçal Aquino. The examination made by theoreticians on the tenuous line that today divides reality from fiction was also boarded as one of the points of the dissertation development. The binominal violence/culture that seems one current trend in contemporary literature, gained incisive space in this analysis.
