Lärarna och IKT

Pernmo, Stefan, Björklund, Kalle January 2005 (has links)
Stefan Pernmo och Kalle Björklund (2005) Lärarna och IKT. The teachers and ICT. The teachers and ICT.School Improvement and Leadership. The Training of Teachers at Malmö University. The purpose of this study is to try to elucidate if the teachers are experiencing any problems with ICT, and if they feel familiar or ill at ease with ICT. We also want to find out if the teachers consider that they continuously are offered further education within modern technology. In order to attain our object we have used a qualitative method and eleven interviews in all. The literature that is presented sheds light upon earlier research about the teacher’s role and the connections between ICT and pedagogical goals. The result of our study shows that an important teaching aid is to take an active part in the students’ acquisition of knowledge. The study also shows that basic skills are important in ICT, and that a great deal of the teachers’ further training is obtained according to their own needs. The conclusion of our study is that the teachers have good basic knowledge about ICT and that they continuously see new demands for competence development. A suggestion for further research would be how to proceed in order to successfully obtain reliable material when browsing on the Internet.

Reid and Perceptual Acquaintance

Sopuck, Forrest 20 November 2015 (has links)
In the recent literature, there is some debate over Reid’s theory of perception. Commentators are divided on whether or not Reid’s theory is consistent with an acquaintance model of perception. I will show that Reid’s views are not consistent with an acquaintance model, but that he nevertheless had good reasons to subscribe to this model. There is, therefore, an interesting tension in Reid’s theory of perception. I then develop a modified Reidian acquaintance model of perception as a way of resolving these tensions in light of an argument contained in Reid’s Philosophical Orations, and defuse recent objections to the acquaintance interpretation in the process. / Thesis / Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) / In this dissertation I examine an ongoing debate in the contemporary literature on Thomas Reid over the nature of his account of perception. I argue that one interpretation of Reid’s theory of perception that has been entertained fails, and that this does not, for various reasons, bode well for the viability of his account. I argue that Reid had available a straightforward way to revise his theory in order to avoid this difficulty, and I explicate this simple revision.

Acquaintance Economy and Relationship Marketing of Social Commerce

Unknown Date (has links)
The term social commerce was first introduced by Yahoo Search blog in 2005. Since then, the scope of social commerce has expanded to include group buying, crowdfunding, forum of online store, and social networking site. The study focuses on the activities of social commerce on social networking site. Social networking site provides more and more services besides the functions of keeping connections and sharing information, and one of them is social commerce. More than 90% of the Taiwanese internet users are Facebook monthly users, so Facebook will be the observational social platform in this study. The way that sellers do relationship marketing will be analyzed in this study. This study classifies two social commerce categories according to whether the major customers that sellers sell products are to people that the seller knew or to strangers. Owing to whether seller knew the customer before or not, they call each other “friend” on Facebook, and the behavior that sellers sell goods to friends is called “acquaintance economy.” This study analyzed the acquaintance economy and relationship marketing of social commerce through interview method.

”Vad hade du på dig?” : En studie om våldtäktsmyter

Svedberg, Ina, Turan, Vanessa January 2019 (has links)
Rape victims are many times met by the police, the justice system and society as a whole with skepticism. This results in a loss of status as a victim and an overall tendency to not report the crime. To date, few studies have been conducted in Sweden on this topic. The purpose with the present study was to examine students’ attitudes regarding rape victims’ responsibility during rape. It was also examined if male and female students differ in their attitudes, and if they also differ in their attitudes when the victim and the perpetrator are acquainted with each other. A quantitative cross-sectional study was carried out, and 262 students participated in a web-based questionnaire. The results showed that male students to a larger extent blamed the victims for their role in the rape. The victims were also assigned greater blame when the perpetrator and the victim didn’t know each other. An interaction between the student’s gender and that the perpetrator was a stranger was found. The conclusion is that male students blame the victims to a much larger extent than female students. Thus, there is a dire need to continue the important work to end rape myths across society.

The purpose of this work is to questionate the discourse of acquaintance with the Semi-arid which is transmitted by the cordéis and songs aiming to apprehend how they reveal through the ways of saying and doing these discourse enunciate images and conceptions about the Semi-arid, its people and cultural practices as well as which cultural policies it envolves and what historical culture its produces. The data used were the following: the cordéis produced by ASA (Articulação no Semiárido), and the ones produced by INSA (Instituto Nacional do Semiárido) as well as the Belo Sertão CD: The acquaintance with the Semi-arid by means of songs. In this work the contribution from Michel Foucault is used. The results shows that these productions serves as instruments to institutionals discourses based on communication strategies although they do not limits themselves to promotion of acquaintance in the Semi-arid. The results also demonstrate that these discourses reveal complex procedures of social, economic and political exclusions operation that mobilize past, present and future to show interpretation about the Semi-arid its people and cultural practices. It also reveals that the acquaintances‟ discourses enunciate knowledges and practices to be observed. By means of these questions it was determined that the vinvulation of this study is associated with Regional History research and the area of concentration is History and Historical Culture.

Judging the Behavior of People We Know: Objective Assessment, Confirmation of Preexisting Views, or Both?

Leising, Daniel, Gallrein, Anne-Marie B., Dufner, Michael 17 September 2019 (has links)
The present study investigates the relative extent to which judgments of people’s behavior are influenced by “truth” (as measured by averaged observer-judgments) and by systematic bias (i.e., perceivers’ preexisting views of target persons). Using data from online questionnaires and laboratory sessions (N = 155), we demonstrate that self- and peer-judgments of people’s actual behavior in specific situations are somewhat accurate but are also affected by what perceivers thought of the targets before observing their behavior. The latter effect comprises a general evaluative component (generally positive or negative views of targets) and a content-specific component (views of targets in terms of specific characteristics, for example, “restrained”). We also found that friends, but not targets themselves, tend to judge targets’ behaviors more positively than unacquainted observers do. The relevance of these findings for person perception in everyday life and in research contexts is discussed.

Hmimssa, Azeddine 05 1900 (has links)
We are focusing on the study of citizenship as seen by a group of influential Muslim people, extensively involved in public affairs in various fields: social, religion, politics, community and academic. This group of thirteen persons has been questioned in an open interview manner about citizenship with a goal to understand how they perceive their citizenship and which social experiences influence that vision and shape their position. The qualitative analysis using a discourse analysis methodology brings out a “Muslim Quebecers theory of citizenship” based on different definitions of citizenship: a "global citizenship" that is "full" at odds with one another labeled as "second class citizenship", both defined by a set of rights and duties. This logic of definition is defined by a set of identities cumulated during their personal experience and shaped by their current priorities as social actors. It has its roots in Islam as a spiritual referential. In other cases the citizenship is defined by the completion of the local Canadian/Quebecer nationality by Islam as a lifestyle within a Canadian nationalist ideology.
