The process of IT integration into labour market vocational training in smaller regions of Lithuania is very slow because of the shabby budgets of vocational training schools and low computer literacy of the staff. This is the main problem, why information systems in these institutions are not created and used. Thus, almost all documents, related to the administration of labour market vocational training are filled in manually. With integration into EU, the number of trainees from labour market raised tow-three times in Lithuania and time costs of vocational training administration increased as well. To reduce the time costs of vocational training administration, information system of vocational school adult training department is created. Guidelines for users of created information system are also presented.

Viešojo transporto informacinė sistema / Public transport information system

The main purpose of the Final work is to analyse and evaluate the public transport, its information system problems, the necessity of its instillation and objects, the experience of the foreign countries in the public transport information system. The Final work investigates general problems of communication in Lithuania, public transport system in three biggest cities of Lithuania, public transport system in Europe, existing public transport information systems and offers for information system instillation. The Final work explores the risk of information systems and e-ticket instillation in public transport, its results and benefits. Analyses the risk of the information system and e-ticket instillation, estimates its instillation possibilities. When estimated the analysis of the public transport in Vilnius, the paper work provides recommendations and preconditions for public transport improvements and its information system instillation. Follow on the analysis of the present public transport system and the practice in the foreign countries, the conclusions and the recommendations of the Final work are provided.

Baigiamajame magistro darbe nagrinėjamas verslo taisyklių vaizdavimas informacinės sistemos lygmenyje. Pateikiamas bendras verslo taisyklių supratimas, jų svarba bei tipai. Nagrinėjama, kokie metodai naudojami verslo taisyklėms atvaizduoti informacinės sistemos lygmenyje. Aprašomi šių metodų privalumai ir trūkumai. Nustatoma, kad tinkamiausias verslo taisyklių atvaizdavimo metodas yra UML klasių diagrama naudojama kartu su OCL kalba. Nagrinėjamos problemos, su kuriomis susiduria naudotojas užrašydamas OCL išraiškas. Sukuriamas įrankis, išsprendžiantis šias problemas. Šis įrankis leidžia naudotojui generuoti keturias dažniausiai naudojamas OCL išraiškas. Baigiamojo darbo pabaigoje pateikiamos išvados. Darbas sudarytas iš tokių pagrindinių dalių: įvado, verslo taisyklių užrašymo IS lygmenyje analizės, OCL išraiškų užrašymo metodo patobulinimo, išvadų, literatūros sąrašo. Darbo apimtis – 75 puslapiai teksto be priedų, 40 paveikslėliai, 7 lentelės, 27 bibliografiniai šaltiniai. Atskirai pridedami darbo priedai. / In final master thesis representation of business rules at information system level is analyzed. General understanding about business rules, its importance and types is described. It is analyzed, which methods are used for business rules representation at information system level. Is described the advantages and disadvantages of this methods. It is identified that the best method of business rules representation is UML class diagram using with OCL language. Problems, which occurs when user is trying to write OCL expression, is analyzed. Tool, which let to avoid this problems, is created. This tool helps user to generate four most used OCL expressions. Conclusions are represented in the end of master thesis. Structure: introduction, analysis of business rules representation at information system level, improvement of OCL expression representation method, conclusions and references. Thesis consists of: 75 pages text without appendixes, 40 pictures, 7 tables, 27 bibliographical entries. Appendixes included.

OWL ontologijų transformavimas į reliacinių duomenų bazių schemas / Transforming OWL Ontologies To Relational Database Schemas

The current work has arisen with respect to the growing importance of ontology modelling in Information Systems development. Due to emerging technologies of Semantic Web, it is desirable to use for this purpose the Web Ontology Language OWL. From the other side, the relational database technology has ensured the best facilities for storing, updating and manipulating the information of problem domain. This work covers analysis of the process how ontology of a particular domain described in OWL may be transformed and stored in a relational database. The algorithms for transformation of domain ontology, described in OWL, to relational database are proposed. According this algorithm, ontology classes are mapped to relational tables, properties to relations and attributes, and constraints – to metadata. The proposed algorithm is capable to transform all OWL Lite and part of OWL DL syntax. The further expansion of the algorithm to cover more capabilities of OWL should be based on the same principles. The prototypical tool, performing transformations, has been implemented as add-in for the ontology development tool “Protégé����. The methodology of transformation is illustrated with an example.

Such system’s creation and installation involves analysis of company’s demands, specification of them, physical and logical design, realization, testing and also subsequent maintenance and development.The main aim of this work is to design such information system which would be suitable for dairying plant. The system’s “Order Processing” interaction with other information systems that are used in the company would allow optimizing production coverage, cost and most important the quality of services.The deep analysis has been done in the dairying plant. Operating database systems have been reviewed.Testing of this system was performed by using virtual data.

Informacinės sistemos klasių modelio kūrimas veiklos žinių pagrindu / Enterprise knowledge-based development of the information system class model

Nepakankamos informacinių sistemų projektavimo priemonių galimybės labai išplečia projekta-vimo proceso trukmę. Dažnai projektavimo ciklas susideda iš kelių etapų. Paprastai pradžioje aprašoma probleminė sritis (kaupiamos žinios apie veiklą), specifikuojami vartotojo reikalavimai, po to sudarinėjami projektiniai sprendimai (sistemos klasių modelis ir kt.). Projektinių sprendimų kūrimas veiklos žinių pagrindu nėra automatizuotas, dėl to šis procesas užtrunka ilgai. Neautomatizuotas IS projektavimas ne tik užtrunka ilgiau, bet ir įveda didesnę klaidos pasitai-kymo galimybę. T.y. žmogiškas faktorius gali lemti, kad bus atsižvelgta ne į visus veiklos žinių bazėje saugomus įrašus. Įrašai taip pat gali būti ne tinkamai interpretuojami ir t.t. Darbe plačiai analizuojamos IS kūrimo priemonės ir atsižvelgiant į privalumus ir trūkumus pasiūlomas metodas proceso optimizavimui. Metodas - skirtas klasių modelio sudarymui pagal veiklos žinias. / Insufficient capabilities of information systems design tools extends the duration of the design process. Often, the design cycle consists of several stages. Usually at the beginning, then the domain is described (collected knowledge of the activities), analytics specifies user requirements. Only after this design solution (the system class models, etc.) can be developed. Enterprise Knowledge-based Devel-opment of the design solutions is not automated therefore the duration of the design process is long. There are a lot of disadvantages of not automated process. Non-automated design not only takes longer, but also creates a greater possibility of the error occurrence. That is because the human factor can be taken into account because, that not all the activities stored in the knowledge base. Also records may not be correctly interpreted, and etc. Thus, the expected solution is a method which will be used to generate information system de-sign solutions (specifically - information system class model of the platform independent level) based on the knowledge (the description of the domain) stored in knowledge base. Programinio kodo generavimo iš veiklos taisyklių modelių sritis iki šiol yra menkai ištirta ir tai neigiamai veikia veiklos taisyklių koncepcijos plėtrą. Nagrinėjama kodo generavimo iš grafinių IS (informacinių sistemų) reikalavimus atspindinčių modelių problema. Pristatomas modifikuotu Roso metodu grindžiamo veiklos taisyklių modeliavimo IS projektavimo stadijoje metodo tyrimas, siekiant sukurti adekvačią programinio kodo generavimo iš taisyklių diagramų metodiką. / One of the reasons for a relatively slow growth of the business rules approach could be the lack of developments in the field of program code generation from the business rules models. During this work methods for code generation from IS requirements models are analysed. The focus is placed on a modified Ross method based rules modelling method aiming to create an adequate code generation methodology.

Žiniatinklio informacinių sistemų regresinio testavimo algoritmo realizavimas ir tyrimas / Implementation and research of regression testing algorithm in web information systems

Kasdieninis žiniatinklio informacinių sistemų (toliau – IS) naudojimas paprastų vartotojų, verslo ir vyriausybinių organizacijų tarpe, reikalauja vis aukštesnės tokių IS kokybės. Žiniatinklio IS dažniausiai yra tokia programinė įranga, kurios sudėtingumas, dėl keleto apjungiamų technologijų, yra aukštas, o pokyčių greitis yra didelis. Vykdant palaikymo ir priežiūros darbus, gali atsirasti begalė klaidų, kurias iššaukia atlikti pakeitimai. Regresinio testavimo paskirtis yra užtikrinti, jog įdiegus programinės įrangos pakeitimus, tokius kaip naujo funkcionalumo pridėjimas ar jau egzistuojančio taisymas, ankstesnėje IS versijoje veikęs funkcionalumas veiks taip pat gerai ir naujojoje versijoje. Šiame darbe tiriami iš HTML žymų sudarytą IS atsaką galintys palyginti regresinio testavimo algoritmai (toliau – testų orakulai). HTML ãtsako kaip teksto lyginimas pateikia per daug klaidingai teigiamų (angl. false positives) rezultatų – testuotojas užverčiamas pranešimais apie netikras klaidas. Mūsų realizuotas testų orakulas HTML žymų atsaką nagrinėja kaip medžio struktūrą. Toks algoritmo veikimas leidžia tikrinti arba netikrinti aprašytas HTML semantines savybes, ko pasekoje yra sumažinamas klaidingai teigiamų ir klaidingai neigiamų rezultatų kiekis. Realizuotas testų orakulas nuo literatūroje aprašomų ir rinkoje siūlomų testų orakulų skiriasi tuo, jog nepraneša apie klaidą, kai HTML atsakas būna papildytas naujomis žymomis, kurios nekeičia pradinės medžio struktūros. Web information systems is such a software, which has high complexity because of the multiple technology usage and tends to rapid changes. Errors may occur because of the changes that have been made through maintenance period. Regression testing purpose is to ensure, that software changes such as new functionality or previously existed functionality modification, did not affect functionality, which was well working in the older version. In these master thesis we analyze test oracle comparators which can compare HTML response. HTML as a text comparison produces too many false positives. Meanwhile our test oracle comparator analyses HTML response as is was a tree structure. Thus implementation of the test oracle comparator algorithm enables opportunity to validate or not to validate described HTML semantic features. Therefore, we get fewer false positives and false negatives. Our implemented test oracle comparator differs from the ones described in literature or the ones proposed in market by capability not to warn tester about changes such as newly added HTML tag, which do not change overall tree structure. In this way the introduction of natural functionality growth is allowed. Subject of investigation – management of information and knowledge in the organization JSC „Rūta“. Purpose of work – identification of the usefulness of knowledge and information system for organization‘s management solutions and preparation of the model of the management process. The following tasks have to be solved in order to achieve the purpose of work: • to explain the essence and usefulness of information; • to analyze the usefulness of information and knowledge to the management decision making in the organization; • to prepare the model of the organization information and knowledge management. Methods of investigation. The methods of systematic analysis and synthesis, logical analysis, comparing of results, grouping, graphic portrayal, expert evaluation of the necessity and usefulness of information needs and usefulness, simulation were used to get theoretical results and investigate selected problem. Concepts of information and knowledge are described and analyzed in the work as well as their influence to the activities of the organization. Information system of JSC „Rūta“ is investigated in the work. After the survey of employees and analysis of theoretical material the model of marketing information and knowledge management is created.

Les environnements Numériques de Travail : proposition d'une démarche d'intégration / « Environnements Numériques de Travail » : proposal for an intégration approach

Les universités françaises se trouvent confrontées à de multiples facteurs les incitant au changement et à une modification de leurs pratiques et des outils auxquels elles ont recours. Les Technologies de l’Information et de la Communication (TIC) représentent un levier non négligeable pour permettre aux universités de faire face à ces multiples facteurs de changement. Parmi ces technologies, les Environnements Numériques de Travail (ENT) représentent des outils précieux. La décision d’adopter ces derniers n’émane pas directement des universités, mais découle davantage d’une initiative ministérielle. De nombreuses descriptions techniques sont fournies. Nous relevons cependant un manque d’informations sur le projet d’intégration de ces ENT tant au niveau ministériel que dans la littérature. Le travail mené ici vise à proposer une démarche destinée à favoriser l’intégration de ces environnements dans un contexte universitaire. Nous proposons une démarche multidimensionnelle qui a pour vocation de couvrir toutes les problématiques liées à l’intégration d’un ENT dans une université. Nous identifions quatre dimensions fondamentales : la dimension humaine, la dimension activité, la dimension technique et la dimension organisationnelle. La dimension activité intègre une sous-dimension essentielle dans le cadre de l’ENT : la sous-dimension pédagogique. L’étude de ces 4 dimensions garantit l’exhaustivité de l’étude menée. La validation de la démarche par le biais d’une étude de cas nous a permis d’étudier les dimensions citées dans un contexte réel et d’identifier des pistes d’amélioration. Nous avons par ailleurs recensé plusieurs facteurs clés de succès et obstacles à l’intégration d’un ENT dans une université. Cette étude a été menée dans un contexte français, mais les résultats obtenus seront aisément transposables dans d’autres pays. / French universities face several factors leading them to change and to modify their practices and tools. Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) represent a considerable lever to face these change factors. Among these technologies, “Environnements Numériques de Travail” (ENT) represent interesting tools. The decision to adopt these tools comes from a ministerial initiative and not directly from universities. Many technical descriptions are available. But we notice a lack of information on the integration project in official documents as in other publications. In that work, we aim at proposing an approach intended to support the integration of these environments in a university. We propose a multidimensional approach intended to study all the problems related to the integration of an ENT in a university. We identify four fundamental dimensions: human dimension, activity dimension, technical dimension and organizational dimension. Activity dimension integrates an essential part of the ENT: the teaching part. The study of these 4 dimensions guarantees the exhaustiveness of the undertaken study. The validation of the approach by the use of a case study enabled us to study these dimensions in a real context and to identify ways of improvement. We also listed several key success factors and obstacles to the integration of a ENT in a university. This study was undertaken in a French context, but the results obtained will be easily transposable in other countries.
