Nossa hipótese é que as discussões se voltaram preferencialmente para o laptop desenvolvido no exterior, no caso o XO. Para alcançar esse objetivo, utilizou-se a abordagem crítica tal como a entende Habermas, utilizando a razão no sentido da emancipação. Ademais, foi utilizado o método da Análise de Conteúdo dos registros escritos. Os instrumentos utilizados foram: a) levantamento de documentos; b) observação direta da lista de discussão OLPCBrasil. Estava prevista a utilização de outros instrumentos, como a realização de entrevistas, mas não se conseguiu autorização para sua realização. Na análise, buscou-se traçar um paralelo entre a Sociedade Disciplinar e a Sociedade do Controle, dialogando com autores como Foucault, Deleuze e Moraes no sentido de compreender e caracterizar o discurso pedagógico, a fim de se esmiuçar o modo de funcionamento das relações de poder oriundas da compra dos laptops educacionais pelo Governo brasileiro. A pesquisa concluiu que existem fortes indícios de que há um modelo específico de laptop educacional que está sendo oferecido ao Governo Brasileiro – o XO da OLPC, uma vez que assuntos relacionados à melhoria da infra-estrutura das escolas e à qualificação dos professores pautaram apenas 0,71% e 10% dos assuntos tratados na lista, respectivamente. _________________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / This research intends to analyze the use of proposals for educational laptops offered by Lula da Silva´s administration between 2005-2006 on the power relationship perspective. Our hypothesis is that discussions were oriented to a laptop developed in a foreign country the XO model. To achieve this goal, a critic method like the one proposed by Habermas was used in the emancipation reasonable way. Furthermore for the written records it was used the Contents Analysis method. The Instruments used were: a) documentation research; b) direct observation on the OLPC-Brasil discussion board. Other means were predicted, such as interviews, but there were no authorization to do so. On this work a parallel analysis was found between Discipline Society and Control Society, like the one proposed by Foucault, Deleuze and Moraes authors, on the way to comprehend and characterize the pedagogic speech dialoguing to try to explain the power relationship from the Govern when buying the Educational Laptops. The research concludes that are strong clues that oriented the offer of the XO model from OLPC because relevant subjects like school’s infrastructure development and teacher’s qualification were scored only as 0,71% and 10% respectively on the subjects treated on the discussion board.

A presente tese tem como objeto de investigação o conceito de revisitamento, desenvolvido a partir de dois focos, inicialmente, na poética artística e posteriormente na reflexão sobre questões relativas às curadorias de obras e/ou exposições, consideradas como outra modalidade de revisitamento. A referência para a análise das questões propostas é a produção artística de Luiz Henrique Schwanke. A metodologia desenvolvida constituiu-se de pesquisa de campo, com a seleção e análise das obras, da leitura dos textos do artista, na maioria inéditos, e a análise de entrevistas com o artista. Realizou-se, também, intensa investigação teórica com o fim de embasar as questões conceituais e metodológicas identificadas nas obras e nas práticas curatoriais analisadas, e situá-las dentro do contexto da arte contemporânea e de seu sistema. A obra do artista revelou-se significativa para a realização da análise propostas, possibilitando a sua ampliação conceitual para espaços além dos previstos inicialmente, para se constituírem uma contribuição para a reflexão sobre a arte contemporânea. / The present thesis has as investigation objective the concept of revisiting, developed from two focuses, at first in the artistic poetry and afterwards in the reflection about issues related to the art works or exposition curatorship, considered as another modality of revisiting. The reference for the proposed questions analysis is the art production of Luis Henrique Schwanke. The utilized methodology was composed of a field research, with a selection and analysis of the art works, of the reading of the artist’s texts, most of them original and of the analysis of the interviews made with the artist. An intense theoretical investigation was also carried out in order to ground the conceptual and methodological questions identified in the art works and in the analyzed curatorship practices, and place them in the contemporaneous art contexts and its system. The artist’s work of art manifested significant potential for the investigated conceptual questions analysis, allowing its enlargement for spaces beyond the proposed at first, constituting a contribution for reflection about contemporaneous art.

A presente dissertação teve por objetivo localizar e catalogar as obras do artista plástico Luiz Henrique Schwanke integrantes às seriações de Perfis presentes em acervos institucionais nacionais. No intuito de se obter mais informações foi realizado um levantamento da fortuna crítica relativo à este recorte. A partir do material pesquisado, foi feito um estudo acerca de tais obras que somam mais que cinco mil dentro de universo artístico o qual não se pode precisar a quantia exata de trabalhos. / The present study had the objective of locating and cataloguing the works of the artist Luiz Henrique Schwanke that are part of the Perfis series, present in national institutional collections. To obtain more information, a survey of the critical richness related to this focus has been made. From the researched material, a study was conducted about these works, that sum up to more than five thousand in an artistic universe whose exact number of pieces can´t be exactly precised.

Esta pesquisa aborda as aproximações da fotografia com a arte em Porto Alegre na transição para o século XX, tendo como foco a “fotografia artística” de Luiz do Nascimento Ramos (1864-1937), Lunara, fotógrafo amador da Belle Époque. O ponto principal da análise proposta é o álbum intitulado Vistas de Porto Alegre - Photographias Artísticas, produzido pelos Editores Krahe & Cia, provavelmente na década de 1900, com 20 imagens originais assinadas por Lunara. A participação de Lunara no circuito social da fotografia na cidade, durante as duas primeiras décadas do século, nos mostra as redes que se estabeleceram em relação ao fotoclubismo fotográfico internacional, espaço no qual a “fotografia artística” era produzida e exibida através de uma série de protocolos que visavam nortear e delimitar um campo artístico para a imagem técnica através do movimento pictorialista. Para tanto, as relações com os fotoclubes, com outros artistas e fotógrafos, como Pedro Weingärtner, Virgílio Calegari e outro fotoamador, o Ziul, são contextualizadas aqui, como forma de entender o conceito de artisticidade, o qual alimentava, de algum modo, as práticas de Lunara. A análise que privilegiamos nesta dissertação refere-se à noção de aura benjaminiana e à visão da fotografia de Lunara como uma forma de captação de outras relações com a cidade, para além da fotografia instantânea de fotógrafos profissionais, como se o artista pretendesse produzir os rastros de uma cidade em vias de modernização. O álbum propõe, portanto, narrativas visuais singulares sobre a cidade, ao refletir a trajetória poética de Lunara tanto na escritura, como na produção de suas imagens, nas quais somos conduzidos por um olhar sensível às transformações do seu tempo. / This is a study on the proximity between photography and the arts during the transition to the 20th century. It is focused on the “artistic photography” of Luiz do Nascimento Ramos (1864 to 1937), Lunara, he who was a Belle Époque amateur photographer. The most important source of the analysis is the album entitled Vistas de Porto Alegre – Photographias Artísticas, produced by Editores Krahe & Cia, probably in the early 1900s, with 20 original images signed by Lunara. Lunara participated actively in the social photography circuit in the city during the first two decades of the century and this participation shows us the network that was established with the international photo clubs, where “artistic photography” was produced and exhibited according to rules which aimed to organize an artistic field for the technical images from the pictorialist movement. In order to do so, the relations with the photo clubs, and other artists and photographers, such as Pedro Weingärtner, Virgílio Calegari and another amateur photographer, Ziul, are here contextualized to understand the concept of artisticity, which was somehow what Lunara did. We emphasize the Benjamin’s aura notion and the Lunara’s view of photography in this dissertation as a way of getting other relations with the city, beyond snapshots taken by professional photographers, as if the artist’s intention was to produce the traces of a city that is in the process of modernization. Accordingly, the album suggests novel visual narratives about the city because it reflects Lunara’s poetic trajectory on what is written and on its images, through which we are taken by a sensitive look at the changes of its times.

Reunida em um único volume pela primeira vez, a obra completa do arquiteto Eduardo Riesencampf de Almeida foi catalogada, digitalizada e organizada para esta tese, permitindo a compreensão do conjunto dos trabalhos desenvolvidos a partir de estudos, projetos executivos, perspectivas, croquis e fotografias. Tal material se somou a inúmeras entrevistas que não só permitiram leituras específicas sobre alguns projetos, como possibilitaram reflexões sobre os procedimentos projetuais aplicados durante seu percurso profissional. Realizada ao longo de mais de cinquenta anos, pode-se notar que a obra de Eduardo de Almeida passou por diferentes fases e, dependendo das influências ou das parcerias estabelecidas em cada período, revela mudanças de linguagem e emprego de técnicas construtivas variadas, de acordo com o enfrentamento específico de cada projeto. Apesar destas variações, é possível identificar a recorrência de estratégias projetuais que garantem unidade e caráter ao conjunto de sua obra, mesmo nos trabalhos destinados a diferentes usos, escalas ou contextos. Este material, ainda inédito, permite revelar a um público mais amplo a produção arquitetônica de Eduardo de Almeida e ser utilizado como orientação para novos estudos sobre seu trabalho e, consequentemente, sobre a Arquitetura Moderna Paulista e Brasileira. A abordagem permite ainda uma reflexão sobre estas táticas de projetar e suas relações com o ensino, uma vez que a obra de Eduardo de Almeida não se dissocia de sua atuação como professor, pois reflete-se na produção de novas gerações, ex-alunos e ex-colaboradores. / This thesis covers the complete works of architect Eduardo Riesencampf de Almeida. For the first time, his sketches, study, execution and perspective drawings and photographs, were digitalized, organized and catalogued creating the first comprehensive analysis of his life\'s work. In addition to the graphic material, numerous interviews highlight his personal view of various projects, providing a reflection and deep analysis of the design process throughout his career. The work of Eduardo de Almeida spans more than fifty years. It may be categorized in phases aligned to the partnerships and sources of influence prevalent to each period. This subsequently revealed changes in expression and construction techniques according to the specific project needs. Despite these changes, it is possible to identify recurring design strategies that unify and characterize his work; even in projects with different use, scale and context. The analysis also reveals the relationship between the architect\'s design techniques and his teaching. As a respected professor, at the Sao Paulo University\'s Architectural School, his work is continuously referenced in new generations of architects\' works, embodied by his former students and coworkers. This still-unpublished material is intended to reveal Almeida\'s extensive architectural work to the general public. It should serve as reference for future studies about the architect as well as the Brazilian and Sao Paulo Modern Architecture.

Para a efetivação de tal propósito a pesquisa se direciona aos discursos presentes em diferentes fontes documentais, como os relatórios dos Anuários do Ensino do Estado de São Paulo, periódicos que circularam na época, como Revista Ensino, Revista Escolar, Revista Educação e o Jornal O Estado de São Paulo. Os discursos produzidos nas três décadas do século XX sobre os livros didáticos constituíam-se por interesses políticos para se implementar um ensino nacionalizado e uniformizado, com isso percebe-se uma construção e apresentação de ideias sobre o que seria e como deveria ser estruturado um livro de leitura considerado de qualidade. Neste sentido, a pesquisa prioriza apreender o que tais enunciados trazem como marca de uma representatividade de "bom" livro de leitura, tomando como corpus investigativo os livros que compõem a série graduada de Língua Portuguesa, Meninice (1948/1949), de Luiz Gonzaga Fleury. O questionamento e a análise proposta ao discurso impresso partem da premissa de que a linguagem está inserida num contexto social de sua produção e carregada de uma pluralidade de sentidos, sedimentadas pela Teoria da Enunciação de Mikhail Bakhtin. O outro suporte teórico está nas concepções sobre a história do livro, história da leitura, noção de representação e de práticas de leitura de Roger Chartier e de Robert Darnton, pautados da perspectiva da história cultural, como também, na verificação das intenções que movimentam o autor ao redigir e o editor ao publicar uma determinada obra. O trabalho considera que as ideias produzidas sobre os livros de leitura, legitimam e demarcam perspectivas ideológicas no campo educacional, que se tornam características predominantes ou constituintes de uma cultura material escolar. / Abstract: With the aim of investigating, relate and understand what and how the representations about the book reading historically and socially are built, implemented in a production material and printed, this work brings contribute to studies on the history of textbooks in Brazil, during the first half of the century XX. For the effectuation of such purpose if the research directs the speeches present on different documentary sources, as the reports of Annuário do Ensino do Estado de São Paulo, periodicals that circulated at the time, such as Teaching Magazine, School Magazine, Education Magazine and the newspaper O Estado de Sao Paulo. The discourses produced in the three decades of the 20th century about textbooks were constituted by political interests to implement a nationalized education and uniformed, it realizes a construction and presentation of ideas about what it would be and how it should be structured a book reading considered qualifying. In this sense, the survey stated that such apprehension prioritizes bring as a representation of "good" book reading, taking as corpus books which make up the investigative series graduated of the Portuguese language, Meninice (1948/1949), of Luiz Gonzaga Fleury. The questioning and the proposal analysis of the printed speech come from the premise that the language is embedded in a social context of their production and loaded with a plurality of senses, fielded by the theory of Enunciation of Mikhail Bakhtin. The other theoretical support is in the conceptions of the history of the book, the history of reading, notion of representation and reading practices of Roger Chartier and Robert Darnton, guided by the perspective of cultural history, but also, on checking of intentions that move the author when composing and the editor to publish a given work. Nesse sentido, o objetivo principal deste trabalho é examinar a forma de representar o processo de deslocamentos migratórios de personagens operárias, mineiras de Cataguases, nos cinco volumes do projeto literário Inferno provisório, de Luiz Ruffato – um escritor de procedência bastante próxima à de seus personagens. Busca-se, a partir da leitura das trinta e oito histórias fragmentadas, discutir as implicações do experimentalismo estético aliado ao compromisso social, ético e político. Pretende-se ainda avaliar o papel do escritor enquanto agente no mercado editorial e seu compromisso enquanto intelectual contemporâneo / Reflecting over the ruins of the human condition seems not to be an inherent capacity in every single human being. Fiction, not as a reflection of reality, but as fruitful ground to meet the language with social relations, it offers an opportunity for this reflection from critical work of many writers and their social commitment to the history of their country and their world. Accordingly, the aim of this paper is to examine how to represent the process of displacement migration of workers characters, from Cataguases, Minas Gerais, in five volumes of literary project Inferno provisório, by Luiz Ruffato – a writer very close to their characters. Search up from the reading of the thirty-eight fragmented stories to discuss the implications of the aesthetic experimentalism coupled with social, ethical and political commitment. The aim is also to evaluate the writer's role as an agent in publishing and its commitment as contemporary intellectual

Nesse conjunto de romances é possível verificar que são revelados vários aspectos sobre o ato de ler, principalmente ao atentar as motivações e características mais sobressalentes daqueles que leem e são ali representados. A abordagem teórico-metodológica dessa investigação foi amparada especialmente por análises desenvolvidas por Chartier (1990, 1995, 2002, 2009, 2011) e Fraisse, Poupgnac & Poulain (1989) no que diz respeito às representações e, ainda, para verificar questões quando à recepção das narrativas, a análise dialoga, respectivamente, com os estudos de Jauss (2002), Iser (1999) e Esteves (2009). / This master’s dissertation addresses the representations of male and female readers in the series Um Castelo no Pampa, by Luiz Antonio de Assis Brasil, with analysis focused mainly on the characters Olimpio, Paris and Beatriz. To support the research were also identified some of the similarities and differences between literature and history. In this set of novels you can check that are revealed various aspects of the act of reading, especially to attend the motivations and most outstanding characteristics of those who read and are represented there. The theoretical and methodological approach of this research was supported especially by analyzes carried out by Chartier (1990, 1995, 2002, 2009, 2011) and Fraisse, Poupgnac & Poulain (1989) with respect to the representations and also to check questions as to the receipt of narrative, the dialogue analysis, respectively, with the studies Jauss (2002), Iser (1999) and Esteves (2009).

Hans Robert Jauss, the highest exponent of this theoretical thinking, conceives the relationship between the reader and literature based on the aesthetic and historical character of the same. The author directs his research having as guiding idea the reconstruction of the historical process of each work; in this process, the reader is an indispensable piece because it portrays as responsible for the mediation between the past and the present. For Jauss, it is in constant change of the horizon of the reader s expectation that the evolution of the history of literature inscribes itself. Thus, the literary work enables the reader to develop a critical awareness in relation to their usual values and perspectives, in addition to enabling the expansion of its horizons in historical praxis. To this end, it was hold a bibliographical and documental research. The theoretical basis of the work contemplates names such as Hans Robert Jauss, Luiz Costa Lima, Junito Brandão de Souza, Albin Leski, Gerd Bornheim, Clovis Dias Massa, and others. In addition, it is made a qualitative approach through the analysis of interviews with the director Luiz Paulo Vasconcellos and the actress Sandra Dani, as well the analysis of critiques, reports and interviews published by the press at the time. The resulting analysis of this study verifies the position of the interviewees and journalistic critics and delineates the relationship between their horizon of expectation and the reception of the sophoclean work. In this sense, this research reveals that the theatrical performance in times of exception provides a unique moment of reflection and resistance, because it gives the opportunity to the public to widen the view and understanding of the historical time which it is a part of. / Esta dissertação de mestrado utiliza os pressupostos da Estética da Recepção como instrumento de análise da montagem de Antígona, do diretor Luiz Paulo Vasconcellos, realizada em Porto Alegre, em 1979, sob o jugo de uma ditadura militar. Hans Robert Jauss, expoente máximo dessa corrente teórica, concebe a relação entre leitor e literatura baseando-se no caráter estético e histórico da mesma. O autor dirige suas pesquisas tendo como ideia norteadora a reconstrução do processo histórico de cada obra; nesse processo, o leitor é peça imprescindível, pois figura como responsável pela mediação entre o passado e o presente. Para Jauss, é na mudança constante do horizonte de expectativa do leitor que se inscreve a evolução da história da literatura. Dessa forma, a obra literária possibilita ao leitor desenvolver uma consciência crítica em relação a seus valores e perspectivas habituais, além de possibilitar a ampliação de seus horizontes na práxis histórica. Para tanto, realizou-se uma pesquisa de ordem bibliográfica e documental. A base teórica do trabalho contempla nomes como Hans Robert Jauss, Luiz Costa Lima, Junito de Souza Brandão, Albin Leski, Gerd Bornheim, Clóvis Dias Massa, entre outros. Além disso, realiza-se uma abordagem qualitativa mediante análise das entrevistas com o diretor Luiz Paulo Vasconcellos e com a atriz Sandra Dani, bem como a análise de críticas, reportagens e entrevistas publicadas pela imprensa da época. A análise resultante deste estudo verifica qual a posição dos entrevistados e da crítica jornalística e demarca a relação entre o horizonte de expectativa destes e a recepção da obra sofocleana. Nesse sentido, a pesquisa revela que a encenação teatral em tempos de exceção proporciona um momento único de reflexão e resistência, pois oportuniza ao público ampliar a visão e a compreensão do tempo histórico do qual faz parte.

In recent years, the perception of Brazil in the international arena has changed significantly and the country attracts more and more attention. The key role of the head of state in a presidential political system is reflected in all government agendas, including the foreign policy. Since the 1990s, the Presidents have started to participate more actively in foreign policy decision process, which had been traditionally dominated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the examples of Lula da Silva and Dilma Rousseff and qualify the role of contemporary Brazilian President in foreign policy, and to benefit from the favourable situation when, for the first time in the history of Brazil, the elected candidate was nominated by his predecessor. Therefore it is possible to abstract in the study period (October 2002 to December 2012) from three levels of foreign policy analysis that are considered constant, and so the only factor influencing foreign policy would be a change in the level of the individual. The core is to compare the personalities of presidents and their foreign policy activities which are studied in three dimensions: foreign travel and foreign visits to the country, way of intervening in resolving the crisis and its own foreign policy initiatives in newly highlighted regions and themes.
