Previous issue date: 2017-11-17 / A pediculose ? caracterizada pela infesta??o por Pediculus humanus capitis no homem. Desde o ano de 1963 a pediculose vem crescendo significativamente, principalmente, no ambiente escolar e nos centros urbanos. Isso decorre da aglomera??o de pessoas, tendo em vista a facilidade com que ? transmitida. Os procedimentos terap?uticos atuais apresentam efeitos colaterais, oferecendo risco ? sa?de do hospedeiro e contribuindo para a resist?ncia do parasita aos f?rmacos utilizados, elevando os custos com o tratamento. Os autores se propuseram a desenvolver um produto alternativo at?xico, biocompat?vel, biodegrad?vel e que desfavore?a a muta??o gen?tica apresentada pelos piolhos aos tratamentos dispon?veis atualmente, tudo isso suportado na gest?o da inova??o. Para gerir o projeto foram preparadas amostras do hidrogel ? dispers?o de quitosana em solu??o aquosa de ?cido ac?tico com dissolu??o pr?via do metilparabeno e adi??o de ess?ncia e glicerina - para posterior uso no ensaio in vitro e caracteriza??o f?sico-qu?mica do produto. A caracteriza??o f?sico-qu?mica das amostras foi realizada atrav?s de an?lise organol?ptica, da an?lise reol?gica e aferi??o do pH. A valida??o metodol?gica do produto foi realizada atrav?s do ensaio in vitro, que envolveu a sele??o das amostras, a coleta e padroniza??o de mechas de cabelo, exame e classifica??o da pediculose e, por fim, a aplica??o e constata??o da efici?ncia do produto. A gest?o de custo foi realizada a partir dos c?lculos de custos fixos e vari?veis, necess?rios ? produ??o do hidrogel. Foi realizado o dep?sito do pedido de patente junto ao Instituto Nacional da Propriedade Industrial (INPI) sob o registro n? BR 1020150251793 para garantir o direito ? propriedade intelectual sobre o produto. Os resultados obtidos durante a caracteriza??o f?sico-qu?mica do hidrogel revelaram estabilidade na colora??o e no odor durante os 60 dias em que o hidrogel foi armazenado. Observou-se no estudo reol?gico o comportamento caracter?stico de fluidos pseudopl?sticos das dispers?es de quitosana preparadas, dada ? redu??o observada na viscosidade em fun??o da eleva??o da taxa de cisalhamento. O percentual de remo??o dos ovos na amostra tratada com o hidrogel foi maior (83% dos ovos na primeira aplica??o) do que o observado na exclusiva aplica??o de solu??o de ?cido ac?tico (32%). O tratamento utilizando o produto proposto, denominado hidrogel, pode ser disponibilizado a um pre?o competitivo, tendo em vista a m?dia de pre?os praticados pelos concorrentes. / Pediculosis is characterized by infestation by Pediculus humanus capitis in humans. Since 1963 pediculosis has been growing significantly, mainly in the school environment and in urban centers. This is due to the agglomeration of people, given the ease with which it is transmitted. The current therapeutic procedures present side effects, offering a risk to the health of the host and contributing to the resistance of the parasite to the drugs used, increasing costs with the treatment. The authors set out to develop an alternative, non-toxic, biocompatible, biodegradable product that would undermine the genetic mutation presented by lice to currently available treatments, all supported in the management of innovation. To manage the project, samples of the hydrogel - chitosan dispersion in aqueous solution of acetic acid were prepared with previous dissolution of methylparaben and addition of essence and glycerine - for later use in the in vitro test and physicochemical characterization of the product. The physico-chemical characterization of the samples was performed through organoleptic analysis, rheological analysis and pH measurement. The methodological validation of the product was performed through the in vitro test, which involved sample selection, collection and standardization of hair strands, examination and classification of pediculosis and, finally, application and verification of product efficiency. The cost management was carried out from the calculations of fixed and variable costs, necessary for the production of the hydrogel. The filing of the patent application was filed with the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) under registry number BR 1020150251793 to guarantee the right to intellectual property on the product. The results obtained during the physico-chemical characterization of the hydrogel revealed staining and odor stability during the 60 days in which the hydrogel was stored. It was observed in the rheological study the characteristic behavior of pseudoplastic fluids of the prepared chitosan dispersions, due to the observed reduction in viscosity as a function of the elevation of the shear rate. The percentage of egg removal in the hydrogel treated sample was higher (83% of the eggs in the first application) than that observed in the application of acetic acid solution (32%). The treatment using the proposed product, called hydrogel, can be made available at a competitive price, given the average prices of concurrents.

Previous issue date: 2016-07-04 / Coordena??o de Aperfei?oamento de Pessoal de N?vel Superior (CAPES) / Este trabalho tem como objetivo propor uma nova estrutura capaz de converter sinais linearmente polarizados gerados por uma antena de microfita em sinais circularmente polarizados, para duas bandas de opera??o (2,45 GHz e 5,8 GHz), para aplica??o em leitores RFID port?teis, usando duas metasuperf?cies miniaturizadas. Para poder estudar o comportamento da estrutura proposta, s?o utilizados tr?s layouts diferentes. Primeiro s?o feitos testes iniciais de simula??o, utilizando a primeira metasuperf?cie acoplada ? antena. Em seguida, a antena ? testada acoplada ? segunda metasuperf?cie. E posteriormente a antena ? acoplada ?s duas metasuperf?cies. As estruturas s?o analisadas numericamente atrav?s do Ansoft HFSS? e para validar esses resultados, as estruturas s?o caracterizadas experimentalmente. S?o apresentadas as caracter?sticas de transmiss?o simuladas e medidas. Os resultados experimentais mostram uma boa concord?ncia com os resultados simulados. A estrutura aqui proposta apresenta a vantagem de atender ?s caracter?sticas desejadas nas duas bandas de interesse, conseguindo obter excelentes valores de largura de banda de perda de retorno, bem como de raz?o axial, sendo uma estrutura simples de ser constru?da e com baixo custo. / This work aims to propose a new structure able to convert signals linearly polarized generated by a microstrip antenna for circularly polarized signals at two operating bands (2.45 GHz and 5.8 GHz), for use in portable RFID readers, using two miniaturized metasurfaces. In order to study the behavior of the proposed structure, three different layouts are used. First initial simulation tests are made, using the first metasurface coupled to the antenna. Then, the antenna is tested coupled to the second metasurface. Posteriorly the antenna is coupled to the two metasurfaces. The structures are analyzed numerically through ANSYS HFSS?, and to validate these results, the structures are characterized experimentally. The characteristics of transmissions simulated and measures are presented. A good agreement between simulated and measured results was obtained. The structure proposed here has the advantage to meet desired characteristics in two bands of interest, obtaining excellent values of return loss wideband, as well as the axial ratio, being a simple structure to be constructed and with low cost.

Esse estudo fundamentou-se na legisla??o federal, decretos 5.707/06 e 5.825/06, que estabelecem crit?rios de desenvolvimento cont?nuo dos servidores p?blicos federais bem como do Programa de Capacita??o e Aperfei?oamento adotado pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte - UFRN. O objetivo geral desse estudo foi identificar os efeitos diretos e espec?ficos, das a??es de capacita??o e treinamento, voltados ? ?rea administrativa, sobre o comportamento do servidor em seu cargo, dentro da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, e propor a implanta??o de um instrumento de avalia??o de impacto em profundidade no ambiente de trabalho. Trata-se de um estudo de natureza descritiva, explorat?ria, de abordagem qualitativa e quantitativa. A coleta dos dados ocorreu por meio de um question?rio com perguntas fechadas. A amostra constituiu-se de 108 colaboradores do campus central, sendo 88 t?cnicos administrativos e 20 chefes de unidades administrativas. Os resultados apresentados demonstraram a repercuss?o positiva do programa de capacita??o da institui??o e a contribui??o da forma??o permanente dos servidores. Evidenciaram-se tamb?m os altos ?ndices de satisfa??o nas respostas relacionados ? aplicabilidade dos conhecimentos adquiridos ap?s capacita??o, bem como os efeitos diretos e espec?ficos das a??es de capacita??o e treinamento na ?rea administrativa interferindo de forma positiva no comportamento do servidor em seu cargo. Na an?lise da confiabilidade do question?rio, obteve-se um alfa de Cronbach acima de 0,70, demonstrando, assim, consist?ncia dos dados classificada como satisfat?ria no instrumento de pesquisa. O estudo contribuiu na proposi??o de um modelo de avalia??o de impacto em profundidade adaptado ? realidade da Institui??o. / The Human Resources Department is responsible for monitoring industry and professional development of employees, and the development through training and skills, one of the supports for the improvement of personnel management in the public service. This study was based on federal legislation, decrees 5,707/06 and 5,825/06, establishing criteria for continuos development of federal public servants, as well as training and Development Program adopted by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte-UFRN. The general objective of this study was to identify the direct and specific effects of the training actions, aimed at administrative area, about the behavior of the server in your office, in the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, and finally draw up and propose the implementation of a tool for in-depth impact assessment in the workplace. This was a study of a descriptive nature, exploratory, and qualitative and quantitative approach. The data collection took place by means of a questionnaire with closed questions. The sample consisted of 108 employees of central campus, 88 administrative technicians and 20 managers of administrative units. The results demonstrated the positive impact of the training program of the institution and the contribution permanent of the servers. Showed the high levels of satisfaction in the responses related to the applicability of the knowledge gained after training, as well as the direct and specific effects of the training actions in the administrative area clearly interfering positively in the server behavior in Office. Statistical analysis showed a Cronbach's Alpha's up 0.70, demonstrating thus data consistency classified as satisfactory in the search tool. The study contributed to the proposition of a model of in-depth impact assessment adapted to the reality of the institution.

Com fundamento na abordagem s?cio-hist?rica (FREITAS, 2003); e aporte em Bakhtin (1995), Vygotsky (1998) e nos Estudos Culturais (JOHNSON, 1999; MATTELART, NEVEU, 2004) com ?nfase nos Estudos Surdos (DORZIAT, 2009; 2011; SKLIAR, 2011; S?, 2011; 201?; LODI, MELO; FERNANDES, 2012). Como aportes te?ricos tamb?m foram importantes as contribui??es sobre o Curr?culo Escolar (SILVA, 1995), Educa??o de Surdos (LOPES, 2007; 2013) e Comunidade e Cultura Surda (S?NCHEZ, 1990; LANE, 1997; SACKS, 2010). A pesquisa foi realizada entre o segundo semestre de 2014 e o primeiro semestre de 2015, em um dos CBRS da rede municipal de ensino de Natal/RN, tendo como objetivo geral a an?lise do curr?culo da E. M. Luiz Maranh?o por meio das a??es e enunciados de parte de seus profissionais envolvidos com a educa??o de alunos surdos e como objetivos espec?ficos identificar a concep??o de sujeito surdo na proposta dos Complexos e a finalidade da educa??o desses sujeitos nesses espa?os. Como instrumentos, foram utilizados o roteiro de entrevista e os question?rios e como procedimentos de pesquisas a observa??o participante, as entrevistas coletivas e a an?lise documental. Os dados foram analisados com base na An?lise de Conte?do (RAMPAZZO, 2002; FRANCO, 2005; BARDIN, 2011). A an?lise dos dados fez emergir as contradi??es e os descompassos nas narrativas e nas pr?ticas curriculares. Diante dos dados analisados, conclu?mos que, nos anos iniciais no CBRS de Cidade Nova, Zona Oeste de Natal/RN, os fundamentos e as pr?ticas manifestas v?o de encontro ? proposta de educa??o bil?ngue do Movimento Surdo. A maioria dos colaboradores, como se pode constatar, concebe o sujeito surdo como deficiente e a educa??o bil?ngue como mais um desdobramento da educa??o de pessoas com necessidades especiais. / This qualitative research approach aims to study both practices and narratives in the curriculum of a municipal public school by the implementation of public inclusion policies in natalense educational field through Bilinguals References Complexes for Deaf people ? Complexos Bil?ngues de Refer?ncia para Surdos (CBRS). It was Based on social ? historical methodological (FREITAS, 2003), and supported in Bakhtin (1995), Vygotsky (1998) and on social cultural studies (JOHNSON, 1999; MATTELART; NEVEU, 2004) with emphasis on deaf studies (DORZIART, 2009; 2011; SKLIAR, 2011; S?, 2011; 2012; LODI; MELO; FERNANDES, 2012). As theoretical support it was also important the contribution on the school curriculum (SILVA, 1995), deaf people education (LOPES, 2007; 2013) and community and deaf people culture (S?NCHEZ, 1990; LANE, 1997; SACKS, 2010). The research was carried out between the second half of 2014 and the first half of 2015 in one of the CBRS in Municipal educational system from Natal/RN. By aiming this way, the general curriculum analysis of Luiz Maranh?o Municipal School through actions and announced of parts of its professionals involved with deaf students? education and as specific aim to identify the deaf subject conception of proposals from the complexes and goals of education of these subjects in these spaces. For developing this paper. However, it was used tools such as interviews and questionnaires and as a research procedure the participant observation and group interviews. The data analyzed were based on content analysis (RAMPAZZO, 2002; FRANCO, 2005; BARDIN, 2011). The data analysis brought up contradictions and differences on narratives and curricular practices. Before the analyzed data we came into the conclusion that in the first grades of CBRS in Cidade Nova, West Zone of Natal/RN, the fundamentals and demonstrated practices are not in accordance with the proposal of bilingual education of the Deaf movement and Deaf studies. The majority of collaborators see the deaf as a disabled person and bilingual education like one more expansion of people?s education with special needs.

p?blica (NGP), que se configura como modelo hegem?nico no cen?rio da globaliza??o
neoliberal. A NGP surgiu como resposta ? crise do modelo burocr?tico na administra??o
p?blica, e seus princ?pios se assentam na maximiza??o do controle, competitividade,
avalia??o, presta??o de contas, responsabiliza??o, descentraliza??o de tarefas, participa??o
controlada, responsabilidade individual e coletiva, os quais s?o ressignificados de acordo com
os contextos de implanta??o e ajustados segundo as particularidades locais. No Brasil,
constata-se que essa matriz gerencial incorpora-se ?s pol?ticas p?blicas, desde a d?cada de
1990, consolidando-se ao longo dos anos 2000 na gest?o dos sistemas educacionais. Nesse
per?odo, verifica-se a intensifica??o das pol?ticas de avalia??o, presta??o de contas e
responsabiliza??o no setor p?blico, em todas as ?reas e, particularmente, na educa??o. Dessas
pol?ticas, a responsabiliza??o tem sido utilizada como estrat?gia para rotular os sistemas de
forma positiva ou negativa, considerando os desempenhos obtidos nos processos de avalia??o
e presta??o de contas. Na educa??o brasileira, trata-se de um tema relacionado com a
responsabilidade educacional, o qual vem assumindo centralidade nos ?ltimos anos no pa?s,
de modo que tem sido mat?ria de preocupa??o do Poder Executivo e Legislativo, configurado
no debate e na produ??o de instrumentos legais que tramitam atualmente na C?mara dos
Deputados. Embora o pa?s n?o possua, ainda, uma Lei de Responsabilidade Educacional,
observa-se que nos n?veis subnacionais e locais emergiram algumas experi?ncias com essas
caracter?sticas, dentre elas a do munic?pio de Mossor?, no estado do Rio Grande do Norte.
Esse ente federado aprovou, no ano de 2010, por meio da Lei municipal n. 2.717/2010, a
Pol?tica de Responsabilidade Educacional (PRE). A presente pesquisa elege como objeto de
investiga??o essa pol?tica, cujo foco de an?lise volta-se para compreender como se efetivou o
seu processo de concep??o e execu??o no per?odo de 2010 a 2015. Para o encaminhamento da
an?lise do objeto de estudo, optou-se pelo materialismo hist?rico-dial?tico, por considerar que
esse m?todo permite entend?-lo nas suas rela??es e media??es, assegurando, portanto, uma
compreens?o contextualizada de sua configura??o. Como procedimentos de pesquisa, foram
utilizadas a revis?o bibliogr?fica, a an?lise documental e a realiza??o de entrevistas
semiestruturadas com cinco participantes do processo de concep??o e implementa??o da PRE.
Para organiza??o e interpreta??o dos dados, recorreu-se a alguns elementos da an?lise de
conte?do (BARDIN, 1977). Constata-se que a PRE de Mossor? surgiu, nesse contexto, como
uma resposta ?s dificuldades diagnosticadas pela assessoria da educa??o municipal e
registradas no Planejamento Estrat?gico da Rede Municipal de Ensino (PERME), que
indicavam a necessidade de ajustes na administra??o e gest?o da Rede. A PRE institui
processos de responsabiliza??o focalizados no controle de resultados sob formas de
premia??es materiais, com pagamento financeiro do d?cimo quarto sal?rio aos funcion?rios
da escola e poupan?a para o aluno que mais se destaca nos processos de avalia??o e
participa??o nas atividades escolares. No plano simb?lico, empresas que desenvolvem
programas de responsabilidade social na Rede e um dos pais com atua??o no Conselho
Escolar recebem medalhas e diplomas. A pol?tica municipal materializada na LRE refor?a a
vigil?ncia e a sensa??o de medo quanto ? possibilidade da demiss?o ou rotatividade de
professores, diretores e supervisores que n?o contribuem para a melhoria dos indicadores,
embora durante o per?odo de implementa??o (2010-2015) isso n?o tenha acontecido. Concluise
que a PRE se configura como uma nova engrenagem de responsabiliza??o na
administra??o da educa??o baseada no controle de resultados. / The educational policies in the contemporary world have incorporated principles of the new
public management (NGP), which is configured as a hegemonic model in the scenario of
neoliberal globalization. It should be noted that NGP emerged as a response to the crisis of the
bureaucratic model in the Public Administration, and its principles are based on the control
maximization, competitiveness, evaluation, accountability, liability, decentralization of tasks,
controlled participation, individual and collective responsibility. These principles are
redefined according to the contexts of implementation and are adjusted according to the local
particularities. In Brazil, it is noticed that this managerial matrix is incorporated into public
policies since the 1990s, being consolidated throughout the years 2000, in the management of
educational systems. In this period, it is possible to verify the intensification on the evaluation
policies, accountability and liability in the public sector, in all areas and, particularly, in
education. From these policies, accountability has been used as a strategy to label systems
positively or negatively, taking into account the performance of the evaluation and
accountability processes. In Brazilian education, this is a topic related to the educational
responsibility, which has been central in recent years in the country, so it has been a matter of
concern to the executive and legislative power, configured in the debate and in the production
of legal instruments which are currently under process in the Chamber of Deputies. Although
the country does not yet have an Educational Responsibility Law, it can be observed that at
the subnational and local levels some experiences with these characteristics emerged, such as
the municipality of Mossor?, in the State of Rio Grande do Norte. This federated entity
approved, in the year 2010, through the municipal Law n. 2,717/2010, the Educational
Responsibility Policy (PRE). The present research selects this policy as the object of research,
which focus of analysis is to understand how its conception and execution process took place
in the period from 2010 to 2015. In order to refer the analysis of the object of study, it was
decided by the historical-dialectical materialism, considering that this method allows us to
understand it in its relations and mediations, thus ensuring a contextualized understanding of
its configuration. As research procedures, it was chosen the bibliographic review,
documentary analysis and semi-structured interviews with five participants from the process
of conception and implementation of PRE. For the organization and interpretation of the data,
some elements of content analysis were used (BARDIN, 1977). In this context, it is verified
that the PRE of Mossor? emerged as a response to the difficulties diagnosed by the municipal
education counseling and recorded in the Strategic Planning of the Municipal Education
Network (PERME), which indicated the need for adjustments in the administration and
management of the Network. The PRE establishes accountability processes focused on the
control of results under forms of material rewards, with financial payment of the fourteenth
salary to the school employees and saving account for the student who stands out most in the
processes of evaluation and participation in school activities. On the symbolic level,
companies which develop social responsibility programs in the Network and one of the
parents who work in the School Council receive medals and diplomas. The municipal policy
embodied in the LRE reinforces vigilance and a sensation of fear about the possibility of
dismissal or turnover of teachers, principals and supervisors who do not contribute to the
improvement of the indicators, although during the implementation period (2010-2015) this
has not happened. It is concluded that the PRE is configured as a new mechanism of
responsibility in the administration of municipal public education in Mossor?-RN, based on
the results control.

This dissertation presents the theme manager The Public Educational Institution and the New Public Management , as it is a reflection on the overall goal of understanding how the actions of the manager responds to the proposal from New Public Management and the requirements of the National Education Plan in order to contribute to education in public institutions of Rio Grande do Norte and has specific objectives to : review the training of managers to the role of director ; investigate whether the training of managers correspond to the theory of New Public Management and study the formation of the manager reflects on the quality of education. In this sense, did the research with public managers in state educational institutions of DIRED 1st, medium and large (over six hundred students), assessing the training of managers and their expertise involving the practices of focused public management for results and this reflects in the quality of education, as authors such as, Sveiby (1998), Moresi (2001), Brazil (1995), Araujo (2010), Brand?o and Guimar?es (1999), Pacheco (2011), Dahl (1990 ), among others. The research methodology has descriptive, qualitative approach, to understand how the actions of the manager, and the management of public educational institution focused on results are able to respond to social demands. The research is exploratory, since there is little systematic knowledge about public management in education. The studies lead to propositions of results on the improvement of education. Were used as sources of data collection: literature review, desk research and interviews. The autonomy of the manager, the particularities and people's involvement in the management process, as well as the collective planning, joints according to the demands, personnel management and physical spaces, as well as appraisals, are topics studied in this research , in order to provide a more precise analysis of the facts . We start from the perception of school principals, and then analyze their training as an important factor in this analysis. The results relate to the need for changes in the behavior of managers through adequate training for such function since their actions have influenced the results of education.

Contudo, nenhum estudo acerca a filogeografia, varia??es morfol?gicas locais e variabilidade gen?tica das popula??es desta esp?cie foi efetuado. Esta esp?cie de camar?o, pode revelar informa??es importantes sobre o padr?o de dispers?o e vicariantes correlatos ? cen?rios de arranjos tect?nicos pret?ritos e outros eventos que possam ter influenciado a biogeografia dos taxa aqu?tico. Portanto, o presente trabalho tem como objetivo investigar a diversidade fenot?pica e molecular das popula??es do camar?o Macrobrachium jelskii, nas ecorregi?es Nordeste M?dio Oriental, Maranh?o Piau? e S?o Francisco, frente a influ?ncia de cen?rios pret?ritos e respostas ambientais locais. Este trabalho utilizou uma abordagem de Sistem?tica integrativa, a morfometria geom?trica multivariada, an?lises filogen?ticas e de estrutura??o gen?tica. A morfometria geom?trica, revelou dimorfismo sexual evidente, em que f?meas apresentaram cefalot?rax e abd?men mais estirados horizontalmente. Isto, possivelmente, favorece o desenvolvimento gonadal, vitelog?nese e armazenamento dos ovos. Abstra??o da forma dos tr?s planos corporais n?o demostrou um consenso acerca da estrutura??o das popula??es entre de M. jelskii no Nordeste Brasileiro. Tal fato corrobora com a baixa diversidade nucleot?dica e haplot?pica, em que foi relatado apenas um hapl?tipo compartilhado entre as popula??es das bacias. Assim, ratificando a possibilidade de introdu??o da esp?cie nos corpos d??gua do Nordeste pelo DNOCS. Em adi??o, os dados gen?ticos relataram a presen?a de ru?dos e picos duplos no eletroferograma, que representa co-amplifica??o de pseudogenes mitocondriais da regi?o Citocromo Oxidase I, pouco relatadas na literatura para o g?nero Macrobrachium. Este fato abre um precedente de desconfian?a para rela??es filogen?ticas e filogeogr?ficas publicadas, recentemente que n?o retratam isto. Sabendo que esta caracter?stica pode gerar uma superestima??o de linhagens evolutivas e, assim, conclus?es err?neas sobre eventos dispersivos, vicariantes ou de especia??o, se faz de suma import?ncia retratar os casos de pseudogenes e a utiliza??o de iniciadores espec?ficos para cada t?xon. / Macrobrachium jelskii is a widely distributed species in northeastern Brazil, occurring
throughout South America. However, no studies on phylogeography, local morphological
variations and genetic variability of the populations of this species were carried out. This
prawn species can reveal important information on the dispersion pattern and related
vicariates for scenarios of past tectonic arrangements and other events that have
influenced the biogeography of the aquatic taxa. The aim of this manuscript is to
investigate a phenotypic and molecular diversity of the prawn M. jelskii populations in
the Mid-Northeast Caatinga, Maranho Piau? and S?o Francisco ecoregions, influenced by
past scenarios and environmental local responses. This scientific article uses an approach
of Integrative Systematics, a multivariate geometric morphometry, phylogenetic analyzes
and genetic structuring. Geometric morphometry showed evident sexual dimorphism, in
which females presented cephalothorax and abdomen more horizontally stretched. This
possibly favors gonadal development, vitellogenesis and egg storage. Abstraction of the
shape of the three body planes does not demonstrate a consensus on the structuring of the
populations between M. jelskii in the Northeast of Brazil. This fact corroborates a low
nucleotide and haplotype diversity, in which only one haplotype was shared among the
populations of the basins. Thus, ratifying a possibility of introduction in the Northeast
area by DNOCS. In addition, the genetic data reported a presence of noises and double
peaks not electropherogram, which represents co-amplification of mitochondrial
pseudogenes of the region Cytochrome Oxidase I, little reported in the literature for the
genus Macrobrachium. This fact show a precedent of mistrust for published phylogenetic
and phylogeographic relationships, which recently did not depict this. Knowing that this
characteristic can generate an overestimation of evolutionary lineages and, thus,
erroneous conclusions on dispersive, vicarious or speciation events, it is of importance to
report the cases of pseudogenes and the use of specific molecular primers for each taxon.

por Bogdan e Biklen (1991). A fundamenta??o te?rica recorre ? aplica??o de
conceitos de grandes predecessores e estudiosos da teoria receptiva como Barthes
(1968), Jauss (1994), Iser (1999), assim como te?ricos que nos auxiliam nas novas
formas de compreender o texto liter?rio, como Zilberman (1989), C?ndido (2000),
Cosson (2009), Oliveira (2009), Zappone (2009), dentre outros. Ao final de nossa
interven??o, observamos que os alunos adquiriram apre?o pela obra lida, tra?aram

leituras vindouras. / When we think of the experience of reading, the literary work would be the artifact
that is offered to the consciousness of a reader, the literary text shouldn't be a reality
independent of that consciousness, which feels and perceives the meanings in a
particular, continuous, imposed by other people's delimitations. The literary work
needs its reader to traverse different epochs and contexts and exist, in fact. To make
the author lose the sensory unity and allow the text the freedom necessary to detach
itself from the structuralist and formalist precepts which - because they attributed
exclusively to their own textuality the interpretative responsibility of a work, didn't
privilege the reader in this relation - is the presupposition Raised by the aesthetics of
the reception, contemporary current of the theory of literature, chosen to guide this
proposal of intervention. The proposal of this dissertation is centered in using the
reception aesthetics, applied through a didactic sequence idealized by Cosson
(2009) next to a class of the 9th year of elementary education in a school in the city
of Fortaleza, Cear?. We aim to value the active role of the student / reader in the
analysis and interpretation of a fundamental work of Brazilian literature that is O
Corti?o, by Alu?sio Azevedo. It is an action research, with the approach of qualitative
data proposed by Bogdan and Biklen (1991). The theoretical basis is based on the
application of concepts of great predecessors and students of receptive theory such
as Barthes (1968), Jauss (1994), Iser (1999), as well as theorists who help us in the
new ways of understanding the text Literary, such as Zilberman (1989), Candido
(2000), Cosson (2009), Oliveira (2009), Zappone (2009), among others. At the end of
our intervention, we observed that the students acquired appreciation for the work
they read, drew their own impressions on it, and sought new sources to exercise a
conscious reading, as well as seeing their own importance in constructing meanings,
free from judgments, not just in O corti?o, but also in readings to come.

(REITI), enquanto um processo de gest?o participativa no Instituto Federal da Para?ba, com o
proposito de verificar at? que ponto a REITI proporcionaria o compartilhamento de poder e o
controle de decis?es por parte da comunidade acad?mica do IFPB, com vistas ao alcance de
uma gest?o participativa e democr?tica na institui??o. Trata-se de uma pesquisa explorat?ria
que utilizou uma abordagem descritiva-quantitativa. O estudo, dentre v?rios aspectos, busca
caracterizar o programa sob o enfoque te?rico da gest?o participativa, recorrendo, para tanto,
?s t?cnicas de pesquisa documental e de entrevistas realizadas n?o apenas com os gestores
respons?veis diretamente pelo planejamento do programa, como principalmente na aplica??o
de question?rios envolvendo a comunidade acad?mica. Foram criados indicadores, a exemplo
de "Dialogismo", "Protagonismo", "Formula??o da pol?tica da institui??o", entre outros, com
base em aspectos-chave destacados do referencial te?rico estudado e de declara??es dos
gestores da REITI, que acabaram subsidiando na elabora??o das vari?veis estudadas. Os
resultados foram analisados em tr?s categorias, "Participantes", "Alunos" e "Servidores", com
base na compara??o dos valores percentuais das respostas obtidas e as conclus?es foram
desenvolvidas de maneira descritiva e anal?tica, fundamentadas pelo referencial te?rico. A
pesquisa descobriu que a REITI, apesar de estabelecer um processo participativo, n?o
proporciona o compartilhamento do poder de decis?o com os servidores e alunos,
caracter?stica que, caso estivesse presente, a evidenciaria como modelo de gest?o
genuinamente participativa e democr?tica. Apesar disso, o estudo concluiu que alunos e
servidores percebem a import?ncia do programa quanto ao estabelecimento de uma rela??o
dial?gica que produz resultados ben?ficos na realidade da comunidade acad?mica do instituto. / The general objective of this work was to analyze the program "Itinerant Rectory of
the IFPB" (REITI), as a participative management process in the Federal Institute of Para?ba,
with the purpose of verifying to what extent REITI would provide power sharing and control
of decisions to a part of the IFPB academic community, with a view to achieving participatory
and democratic management in the institution. It is an exploratory research that used a
descriptive-quantitative approach. The study, among several aspects, seeks to characterize the
program, under the theoretical approach of participatory management, resorting to the
techniques of documental research and interviews conducted not only with managers directly
responsible for program planning, but mainly by the application of questionnaires involving
the academic community. Indicators were created, such as "Dialogism", "Protagonism",
"Formulation of institution policy", among others, based on key aspects highlighted from the
theoretical framework studied and from declarations of REITI managers, what ended up
subsidizing the elaboration of the variables studied. The results were analyzed in three
categories, "Participants", "Students" and "Servants", based on the comparison of the
percentage values of the answers obtained and the conclusions were developed in a
descriptive and analytical way, based on the theoretical references. The research found that
REITI, in spite of establishing a participatory process, does not provide the sharing of
decision-making power with the servants and students, a characteristic that, if present, would
show it as a genuinely participatory and democratic management model. Despite this, the
study concluded that students and servants perceive the importance of the program in
establishing a dialogical relationship that produces beneficial results in the reality of the
academic community of the institute.

Com 42 esp?cies, divididas nos subg?neros Pilosocereus e Gounellea, o g?nero ? distribu?do de forma disjunta na regi?o neotropical, ocorrendo nos mais diferentes tipos de h?bitats, sempre associados a ambientes x?ricos, sendo o leste do Brasil o seu maior centro de diversidade. Em raz?o de suas caracter?sticas morfol?gicas, as quais lhe conferem grande adaptabilidade a ambientes x?ricos (assim como as demais Cact?ceas), as esp?cies de Pilosocereus s?o frequentemente dominantes e assumem um importante papel ecol?gico e etnobot?nico onde ocorrem. No entanto, poucos tem sido os trabalhos at? o momento que tiveram como foco o g?nero como um todo. Assim, esta tese teve como objetivo investigar o relacionamento filogen?tico, a biogeografia e aspectos evolutivos do g?nero Pilosocereus. Concluiu-se que o g?nero n?o ? monofil?tico, e o principal clado (Pilosocereus sensu stricto) diversificou-se muito recentemente (principalmente no Pleistoceno tardio), com origem na Caatinga e eventos de migra??o para outros ambientes x?ricos da Am?rica do Norte/Central, Noroeste da Am?rica do Sul e Caribe. No cap?tulo 2, reconstruiu-se o relacionamento filogen?tico do g?nero atrav?s de an?lise bayesiana e m?xima parcim?nia, com uma amplia??o da amostragem de t?xons e regi?es gen?micas em rela??o a trabalhos previamente publicados. Comprovou-se a n?o monofilia do grupo, bem como de quatro esp?cies heterot?picas, o que permitiu propor mudan?as taxon?micas, incluindo a eleva??o de categoria de tr?s esp?cies; tr?s novos sin?nimos; um novo nome no ranking de esp?cie e um novo g?nero, Xiquexique (composto pelas esp?cies formalmente posicionadas em P. subg. Gounellea), passando ent?o Pilosocereus a uma nova circunscri??o, com 42 esp?cies e quatro subesp?cies. Por fim, no cap?tulo 3 apresenta-se o padr?o de distribui??o, riqueza, endemismo e atual situa??o de conserva??o de todas as esp?cies do grupo, onde foi encontrado que alguns t?xons apresentam restri??es ao tipo de vegeta??o, mas a maioria se mostra amplamente distribu?da em diferentes gradientes ambientais. A maior riqueza de esp?cies e diversidade filogen?tica s?o encontradas nos estados da Bahia e Minas Gerais, com ?reas de endemismo sendo apontadas para o leste do Brasil e M?xico. Assim, esta tese teve uma abordagem multidisciplinar a fim de elucidar diferentes aspectos da biologia deste grande e diverso grupo, que at? o momento permaneciam desconhecidos. / The genus Pilosocereus belongs to Cactaceae (subfamily Cactoideae) and is one of the largest and most widely distributed genera within the tribe Cereeae. With 42 species divided in two subgenera, Pilosocereus and Gounellea the group is disjunctly distributed in the Neotropics and centered in eastern Brazil, occurring in many different types of habitats associated with xeric environments. Due to its morphological features, providing great adaptability to xeric environments (as all Cacti), Pilosocereus species are often dominant and play an important ecological and ethnobotanical role where they occur. However, there were few studies so far that focused on the genera as a whole. Thus, this thesis aimed to investigate the phylogenetic relationship, biogeography and evolutionary aspects of the genus Pilosocereus. The first Chapter focused in investigating Pilosocereus diversification processes in arid habitats in the Neotropics, using phylogenetic relationships, clades divergence times and reconstruction of ancestral areas. The conclusion was that the genus is not monophyletic and that the main clade (Pilosocereus sensu stricto) diversified very recently (mainly in Late Pleistocene), with origin in the Caatinga and posterior migration events to other xeric environments in North/Central America, Northwest of South America and Caribbe. In Chapter 2, the phylogenetic relationships in the genus were reconstructed through Bayesian and Maximum Parsimony analyses, with expanded taxon sampling and genomic regions in comparison with previously published works. Again, the genus was found as non-monophyletic, as well as four heterotypic species, what led to the proposition of taxonomic changes, including the resurrection of three species, three new synonyms, a new name in the species rank and a new name in the generic rank, Xiquexique (composed of the species formally positioned in P. subg. Gounellea), while Pilosocereus was newly circumscrybed with 42 species and four subspecies. Finally, Chapter 3 presents the distribution patterns, richness, endemism and current conservation scenario for all species of the group. Some taxa are restricted to vegetation types, but most of them are widely distributed in different environmental gradients. The greatest species richness and phylogenetic diversity are found in the states of Bahia and Minas Gerais, with areas of endemism in Eastern Brazil and Mexico. Thus, this thesis had a multidisciplinary approach in order to elucidate different aspects of the biology of this large and diverse group, which remained unknown until now.
