Subst?ncias vegetais t?m sido recentemente consideradas um recurso para ser utilizadas em formula??es fotoprotetoras devido a sua absor??o no espectro UV e propriedades antioxidantes. A Euterpe oleraceae Mart., conhecida popularmente como a?a?, cont?m em sua composi??o qu?mica, compostos polifen?licos como as antocianinas e flavonoides, aos quais ? atribu?da a propriedade antioxidante. Esta pesquisa teve como objetivos desenvolver e avaliar a estabilidade de emuls?es O/A contendo extrato glic?lico de a?a? e avaliar a efic?cia fotoprotetora. A seguran?a do extrato foi determinada por meio de testes in vitro de citotoxicidade e fototoxicidade. Emuls?es contendo extrato glic?lico de a?a? foram formuladas utilizando diferentes tipos e concentra??es de emulsionantes polim?ricos (Acrylates/C 10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer e Sodium Polyacrylate). A influ?ncia de dois modificadores reol?gicos (Carbomer e Polyacrylamide (and) C 13-14 Isoparaffin (and) Laureth-7) forma estudados com o objetivo de melhor a estabilidade. A estabilidade f?sica foi avaliada por meio de testes preliminares e acelerados. A an?lise macrosc?pica, determina??o dos valores de pH e condutividade el?trica e o comportamento reol?gico foram determinados em diferentes tempos. A determina??o do Fator de Prote??o Solar (FPS) in vivo foi realizado pelo m?todo COLIPA 2006, e o Fator de Prote??o UVA (FPUVA), comprimento de onda cr?tico e raz?o FPS/FPUVA, foram realizados de acordo com o m?todo in vitro COLIPA 2011. O extrato em estudo n?o apresentou-se citot?xico e fotot?xico. A emuls?o est?vel contendo 5% de extrato glic?lico de a?a? e 1,0% de Sodium Polyacrylate apresentou carater?sticas pseudopl?tica e tixotr?pica. A emuls?o contendo o extrato de a?a? obteve FPS 25,3 e FPUVA 14,97. A adi??o do extrato glic?lico de a?a? n?o proporcionou aumentou siginificante no FPS e o FPUVA. Esta emuls?o apresentou 1,69 de raz?o FPS/FPUVA e comprimento de onda cr?tico em 378 nm, podendo ent?o ser considerada um fotoprotetor de amplo espectro, com prote??o contra UVA e UVB. / Sunscreen use is the most common photoprotection alternative used by the population, and so these products should offer improved protection with broad - spectrum, UVA and UVB protection . Vegetal substances have recently been considered as resources for sunscreen formulations due to their UV spectrum absorption and antioxidant properties. The Euterpe oleracea Mart., popularly known as a?ai, in its che mical composition contain polyphenols compounds, such as anthocyanins and flavonoids , to which antioxidant properties have been attributed . The aim of this work was to develop O/W sunscreens emulsions con taining a?ai glycolic extract ( AGE) and to evaluate both their physical stability , safety and photoprotective efficacy. The safety of the extract was evaluated by in vitro phototoxicity and cytotoxicity tests. Emulsions containing AGE and sunscreens were formulated using different types and concentrations o f polymeric surfactant (Acrylates/C 10 - 30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer and Sodium Polyacrylate). The influence of two rheology modifiers (Polyacrylamide (and) C13 - 14/Isoparaffin (and) Laureth - 7 and Carbomer) on the stability was also investigated. Physical stability was evaluated by preliminary and accelerated studies. The macroscopic analyses, pH value and electrical conductivity determinations and rheological behavior were evaluated at different time intervals . The in vivo Sun Protect Factor ( SPF ) was determined according to the International Sun Protection Factor Test Method ? 2006 and UVA Protection Factor (FPUVA), wavelength critical and reason SPF/FPUVA were performed according to the method Colipa 2011. The extract did not present cytotoxic ity and phototoxic ity . The stable emulsion containing 5% glycolic extract of a?ai and 1.0% of sodium poliyacrylate showed pseudoplastic and thixotropic behavior . The sunscreen emulsion containing a?ai glycolic extract showed a SPF 25.3 and PF - UVA = 14.97. Whe n a?ai glycolic extract was added in the emulsion sunscreen, no significant increase in the in vivo SPF and FPUVA values were observed. This emulsion showed 1.69 of the SPF/PF - UVA ratio and a critical wavelength value of 378 nm, so may therefore be conside red a sunscreen with UVA and UVB protection.

Dessa forma, a evapora??o afeta o rendimento dos reservat?rios para abastecimento e irriga??o, sendo um fen?meno de especial interesse para estudo. A realiza??o do Workshop serviu como espa?o para a discuss?o sobre o tema dentro do contexto do munic?pio de Santa Cruz/RN. Como produto, sugerimos aos professores de F?sica um guia com recomenda??es que devem ser levadas em conta quando forem ensinar esse tema. / The scope of this Dissertation is propose the teaching of the evaporation based on the approach Science, Technology and Society (STS) because we believe that this type of approach is able to provide students with a more critical and conscious learning about science. Moreover, with this search, it?s possible to show for students the importance of role to play for them as citizens in decision making aimed to benefit all who are part of the community to which they belong. From this perspective, broached the theme evaporation in a region characterized by constant lack of water for consumption, the municipality of Santa Cruz/RN because, despite the creation of dams to regulate the flow of rivers and increase the availability of water during periods of scarcity, we know that these reservoirs have a large free liquid surface allowing high water loss by evaporation. Thus, evaporation affects the performance of reservoirs for water supply and irrigation, being a phenomenon of particular interest to study. To this end, a questionnaire in order to identify students' preconceptions on the subject was applied. Was then prepared and conducted a workshop geared toward students majoring in Physics Campus Santa Cruz, Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN). The completion of the workshop served as a space for discussion of the topic within the context of the municipality of Santa Cruz/RN. As a product, we suggest to physics teachers a guide with recommendations to be taken into account when they teach this subject

Tal recorte se justifica por meio da recente avalia??o de sua educaa??o b?sica, feita pelo MEC, diagnosticando ,em 2011, apenas 1% dos alunos em est?gio considerado adequado de aprendizagem em matem?tica. Enquanto que 62% est?o em est?gio educativo considerado cr?tico nessa disciplina. Diante disto esta dissertaa??o faz uma an?lise te?rica acerca do capital cultural herdado e adquirido no ?mbito familiar, sobretudo focando, nas dist?ncias entre o n?vel cultural da fam?lia do aluno e o requerido pela escola. Em seguida apresenta os aspectos fundamentais da problem?tica acerca do fen?meno urbano, focando nas hierarquias e estruturas sociais dos espa?os citadinos que expressam diferncia??es, segmenta??es e segregra??es socio-espaciais, al?m de exclus?es sociais. A ?nfase nas desigualdades aponta para o desenvolvimento de um ethos urbano, via escolarizaa??o, que se desenvolve a partir de singularidades sociais. A desenvolver teoricamente o tema do capital cultural familiar, este trabalho procurou operacionalizar o conceito atrav?s da interpreta??o dof en?meno estudado por um trabalho l?gico de valida??o de hip?teses. A operacionalizaa??o dos conceitos de forma sist?mica transformou elementos estat?sticos em indicadores com o objetivo de medir a incid?ncia das caracter?sticas individuais sociais e culturais dos alunos. Considerou-se por fim, que os componentes avaliados, capital cultural familiar e as condi??es habitacionis das fam?lias, podeme xercer influ?ncia no desenvolvimento das habilidades e compet?ncias dos alunos na escola. / This dissertation aimed to investigate the formal learning process of children and teenagers through elementary education and, mainly, the support of family on domestic school activities as a step in the teaching-learning process. The student's family, with its cultural capital, provides an assistance which was the bias of the essay analyzes presented on this paper, using a spatial area of public elementary schools of the municipalities of the Natal metropolitan region. Such frame of Natal metropolis has been justified by the recent review of their basic education, taken by the Brazilian Ministry of Education, diagnosed in 2011, only 1% of students were in a adequate mathematics learning stage. While 62% were considered in a critical stage in this discipline. Given this issue, this dissertation offers a theoretical analysis about inherited and acquired within the family cultural capital, mainly focusing in the distances between the cultural level of the student's family and the defendant by the school. Then, presents the fundamental aspects of the issue on the urban phenomenon, focusing on social hierarchies and structures of city spaces that express differentiation, segmentation and socio-spatial segregation, and social exclusion. The emphasis on inequalities points to the development of an urban ethos, through formal schooling, which develops from social singularities. To theoretically develop the theme of Cultural Capital Family, this study sought to operationalize the concept through the interpretation of the phenomenon studied by a logical validation work hypotheses. The operation concepts systemically transformed into statistical indicators in order to measure the impact of individual, social and cultural characteristics of students elements. Finally, this dissertation found that the components evaluated, family cultural capital and housing conditions, can influence the development of skills and competencies of students in the educational sphere

Assim, em um segundo momento, analisaremos de que modo, para Heidegger, a moderna metaf?sica da subjetividade atingiu o seu acabamento na ?poca da t?cnica moderna a partir do princ?pio de controle e planifica??o dos entes em geral (Gestell), revelando o sentido n?o-t?cnico da t?cnica (para al?m da vis?o antropol?gica, humanista e instrumental) bem como o car?ter amea?ador da t?cnica moderna em seu projeto de convers?o do ente em fundo de reserva (Bestand). / The general objective of this research is to clarify and discuss the original contribution of Martin Heidegger's philosophical reflection on the essence of modern technique. For this purpose, it was structured the interpretative course of this dissertation in two essential moments. At first, we present Heidegger's interpretation of the essence of the modern age which, in turn, will be recognized from the metaphysical foundation that establishes the essence of modern science: the subjectivity that represents, calculates, manages and produces the real. We will see which, in this context, modern science was still thought close to the modern technology, what will change considerably from the writings of the post-war, in which Heidegger thinks modern science from a much broader and essential process in that the essence of the technique has already been unfolding. Thus, in a second moment, we will analyze how, for Heidegger, the modern metaphysics of subjectivity reached its completion at the time of modern art from the principle of control and planning of entities in general (Gestell), revealing the nontechnical sense of the technique (beyond the anthropological, humanistic and instrumental view) as well as the threatening character of modern technique in its conversion project of the entity from the reserve fund (Bestand).

In this sense, in the music scene of Chico Science & Na??o Zumbi suggest an esthetical freedom, approaching songs to oral literature. Linked to that, this research aims to analyze three songs from the Afrociberdelia (1996) album, composed by Chico Science & Na??o Zumbi, namely: ?Mateus Enter?, ?O Cidad?o do Mundo? and ?Etnia? (the three first songs from this disco). This analyzis aim to clarify how those songs untie or loose the knots of colonial segregation (MIGNOLO, 2003). For that, we dialogue with a comprehension of ?creolezation? as used by Glissant (2011; 2005), that studies hybridism from a post-colonial perspective.

E no que se refere ao estudo das can??es, utilizaremos a teoria de Luiz Tatit, que discute a entoa??o verbal e ?ndices musicais como parte respons?vel pela compreens?o global da Can??o. / This thesis aims to analyze a corpus containing some hybrid poems and some images related to these poems because the omnipresence of some of them in different semiotic systems and even different books of Arnaldo Antunes. The poems in question will be drawn from two of his books: Things and Name; We will also consider some excerpts from songs, which are present in the same author career discs; as well as observe the embodiment of the poem video coming out of the paper support and enters on the TV screen through the VHS / DVD project Name. Our work focuses on this corpus, mainly observing a recurrent feature already observed at Masters level that is the hallmark of firstness, theoretical category developed by Charles Sanders Peirce. In addition to observe the semiotic aspect, we will also be a discussion of the relationship of verbal texts with visual and its nuances with changing media. The semiotic theory is basically anchored in Peirce vision studied by Lucia Santaella on the headquarters of language and thought (noise, verbal and visual). And with regard to the study of the songs, we use the theory of Luiz Tatit, which discusses the verbal intonation and musical indices as the party responsible for global understanding of Song.

Partimos do estudo de como se deve ler Benjamin e depois analisamos o que se pretende resgatar do legado kantiano conforme indicado em um texto de sua juventude ??ber das programm der kommenden philosophie? escrito entre 1917-1918, a fim de suscitar o debate sobre a vitalidade de uma ?filosofia vindoura? enquanto ?metaf?sica do presente?. A pesquisa parte da releitura dos textos juvenis de Benjamin comparado com outros textos da maturidade que prop?em um novo conceito de experi?ncia como base est?tico-hist?rica a uma filosofia do ?tempo-presente?. A tese discute o desafio de uma metaf?sica na atualidade em face da crise da ci?ncia e de fal?ncia dos modelos explicativos da realidade na filosofia, por analogia com a atitude do criticismo kantiano em sua contraposi??o ? metaf?sica dogm?tica de seu tempo. / Our thesis tracks down and explores a method of reading Walter Benjamin?s texts and examines his proposal to a "coming philosophy" by highlighting his higher concept of "experience" (Erfahrung) for the foundation of a metaphysics for the Now-Time. Accordingly, it starts first from the application of the method and analyzes what is to be rescued from the Kantian legacy, as indicated in Benjamin?s youth "Program for a coming Philosophy" (1917-1918). Then, to discuss and evaluate Benjamin?s project of a "coming philosophy" several youth?s texts are compared with later texts which propose a new concept of experience as both aesthetic and historical basis for a philosophy of "NowTime" (Jetztzeit). Finally, by analogy with Kant?s critical attitude against dogmatic metaphysics the challenge of metaphysics today is discussed, especially Benjamin?s proposal to "Now-Time-Metaphysics" within the context of crisis and bankruptcy of explanatory models of reality in philosophy.

Caracterizamos a nossa pesquisa como qualitativa de natureza emp?rica e optamos pela An?lise Textual Discursiva (ATD) (MORAES, 2003). O l?cus de nossa investiga??o foi o curso de licenciatura em f?sica do IFRN, Campus Natal Central, e os sujeitos da pesquisa, um grupo de professores formadores dessa licenciatura. Foram entrevistados dez docentes, sendo seis do n?cleo espec?fico da f?sica e quatro das disciplinas do n?cleo did?tico-pedag?gico. Mediante esse desenho, compusemos uma coleta de dados desenvolvida por: 1) entrevista semiestruturada; 2) an?lise documental. Nas an?lises dos dados, com o suporte das tend?ncias pedag?gicas que verificamos em nosso estudo a partir da percep??o das semelhan?as e diferen?as entre as concep??es apresentadas pelos professores sobre: educa??o e ensino; pr?tica de ensino ideal; fun??o do professor; concep??es de aprendizagem; e fun??o do aluno e do pensamento ideol?gico desses professores formadores sobre o perfil profissional do egresso, observamos subs?dios para identificar indicativos da presen?a de tr?s estilos de pensamento distintos e que se inter-relacionam entre si de forma mais ou menos intensa. A relev?ncia do estudo se apresenta na compreens?o dos estilos de pensamento que participam da din?mica do curso de forma??o de professores em f?sica e, por consequ?ncia disso, na elucida??o de uma problem?tica apontada a priori como motivadora da pesquisa, qual seja: a dificuldade de intera??o comunicativa sobre as pr?ticas educacionais entre os professores formadores. Trazemos a epistemologia de Fleck como uma possibilidade motivadora de di?logo e negocia??o, configurando-se, dessa forma, como um instrumento de mudan?a efetiva, tendo em vista a significa??o da forma??o de professores de f?sica. / This study arises in the context of physics teacher training and aims, from the speech of the teacher trainer, identify possible pedagogical models and characterize thinking styles present in the course of licentiate in physics of IFRN using the epistemology of Ludwik Fleck. We classify our research as qualitative with an empirical nature, and for the analysis we chose the discursive textual analysis - DTA (MORAES, 2003). The locus of our research will be the licentiate in physics at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Norte - IFRN, Natal-Central Campus and the research subjects, a group of teacher trainers of this course. We interviewed ten teachers, being six from the group dedicated to physics and four from the group dedicated to didactics and pedagogy. From this design, we performed data acquisition consisted of: 1) semi-structured interview, 2) document analysis. On the data analysis, with the support of pedagogical trends that were observed in our study based on the perception of the similarities and differences between the ideas presented by teachers about: education and teaching; ideal teaching practice, teacher's role, learning conceptions, and according to the student and on the ideological thinking of these former teachers on the professional profile of graduates, we noted subsidies to identify evidences of the presence of three distinct thinking styles that interrelate with each other in a considerably intense way. The relevance of the study is presented in the understanding of thinking styles that participate in the dynamics of the course of teacher training in physics, and by consequence, elucidation of a problem pointed out a priori as motivating the research: the difficulty of communicative interaction on educational practices among teacher trainers. We bring Fleck's epistemology as a motivating possibility of dialogue and negotiation, setting thus an instrument of real change, towards the significance of teacher training in physics.

O uso desta ferramenta na ind?stria do petr?leo, para ajudar a interpreta??es s?smicas e, principalmente, para procurar armadilhas estruturais, contribu?ram para difundir o uso desta ferramenta na literatura. Atualmente a modelagem f?sica tem um grande campo de aplica??es, desde deslizamento de terra a alojamento de granitoides ao longo de zonas de cisalhamento. Neste trabalho, n?s lidamos com modelagem f?sica para estudar a influ?ncia da estratifica??o mec?nica na nuclea??o e desenvolvimento de falhas e fraturas em um contexto de bacias obl?quas e ortogonais (? dire??o de distens?o) conjugadas. Para simular uma estratigrafia mec?nica usamos materiais diferentes, com propriedades f?sicas distintas, como p? de gesso, microesferas de vidro, argila seca e areia quartzosa. Alguns experimentos foram realizados com acompanhamento do PIV (Particle Image Velocimetry), um instrumento que mostra o movimento das part?culas para cada momento de deforma??o. Foram estudadas duas s?ries de experimentos: i) S?rie MO: Testou-se o desenvolvimento de falhas normais em um contexto de uma bacia ortogonal (? dire??o de distens?o). Os experimentos foram realizados levando-se em considera??o a mudan?a de materiais e espessuras de camadas. Alguns experimentos foram feitos com sedimenta??o sintect?nica. Foram registradas diferen?as na nuclea??o e crescimento de falhas em camadas com diferente comportamento reol?gico. A camada de p? de gesso se comporta de um modo mais competente, o que gera um grande n?mero de fraturas de alto ?ngulo. Essas fraturas evoluem para falhas que apresentam um mergulho mais acentuado do que quando elas atravessam as camadas menos competentes, como as de areia quartzosa. As camadas mais competentes exibem blocos falhados, dispostos em um t?pico arranjo em domin?. Brechas catacl?sticas desenvolveram-se ao longo das falhas que afetam as camadas mais competentes e mostraram hist?rias evolutivas diferentes, dependendo da sequ?ncia estratigr?fica sob deforma??o; ii) S?rie MO-S2: Falhas normais foram analisadas em sub-bacias conjugadas (obl?quas ? dire??o de extens?o), desenvolvidas em sequ?ncias com e sem contraste reol?gico. Em experimentos com contraste reol?gico, dois importantes grabens foram desenvolvidos ao longo das margens falhadas diferentemente do que ocorre nas sub-bacias com estratigrafia mec?nica. Sistemas de falhas obl?quas foram desenvolvidos nos dois conjuntos de experimentos e, na ?rea de intersec??o das sub-bacias, as falhas geradas possuem tra?o bastante curvo. / In the last decades, analogue modelling has been used in geology to improve the knowledge of how geological structures are nucleated, how they grow and what are the main important points in such processes. The use of this tool in the oil industry, to help seismic interpretations and mainly to search for structural traps contributed to disseminate the use of this tool in the literature. Nowadays, physical modelling has a large field of applications, since landslide to granite emplacement along shear zones. In this work, we deal with physical modelling to study the influence of mechanical stratifications in the nucleation and development of faults and fractures in a context of orthogonal and conjugated oblique basins. To simulate a mechanical stratigraphy we used different materials, with distinct physical proprieties, such as gypsum powder, glass beads, dry clay and quartz sand. Some experiments were run along with a PIV (Particle Image Velocimetry), an instrument that shows the movement of the particles to each deformation moment. Two series of experiments were studied: i) Series MO: We tested the development of normal faults in a context of an orthogonal (to the extension direction) basin. Experiments were run taking into account the change of materials and strata thickness. Some experiments were done with sintectonic sedimentation. We registered differences in the nucleation and growth of faults in layers with different rheological behavior. The gypsum powder layer behaves in a more competent mode, which generates a great number of high angle fractures. These fractures evolve to faults that exhibit a higher dip than when they cross less competent layers, like the one of quartz sand. This competent layer exhibits faulted blocks arranged in a typical domino-style. Cataclastic breccias developed along the faults affecting the competent layers and showed different evolutional history, depending on the deforming stratigraphic sequence; ii) Series MOS2: Normal faults were analyzed in conjugated sub-basins (oblique to the extension direction) developed in a sequence with and without rheological contrast. In experiments with rheological contrast, two important grabens developed along the faulted margins differing from the subbasins with mechanical stratigraphy. Both experiments developed oblique fault systems and, in the area of sub-basins intersection, faults traces became very curved.

Esta viagem nos proporcionou ensinamentos para auxiliar nossa sabedoria de bem viver a vida, alertando-nos para o culto ao corpo como o cultivo de si, e n?o como busca de alcan?ar padr?es corporais estipulados pela sociedade vigente. / This inquiry looks it to think of the body through Hedonistic Philosophy of Michel Onfray. To compose his written, the philosopher launches strong criticism to the asceticism (constituted by the philosophical tradition and by the monote?stas religions), accusing it of despise the body and the pleasure of his teachings, anchored by the Christian moral. However, his philosophy defends the hedonismo and emphasizes the pleasure as an ethical / moral beginning, which aims the other as much as the individual himself, elevating the body and his potentialities through five senses. The contemplated philosophy allowed us think on the Physical Education, area wich, traditionally, was tied to the execution of disciplinary tasks of the body, disregarding the sensibility of his pedagogic practice. In this scenery, there is an ideal of body that attacks us daily, intensified by this area, which turns in the ethical problem of the body. From then, we launch our questions: From Michel Onfray philosophy, how the body shapes between the asceticism and the hedonismo?, What are the possible implications for the Physical Education? Ruled in the method of the Hedonistic Materialism, proposed by Michel Onfray, we think about this inquiry on two central points that contemplate our categories of study to be known: Glorious body and Loose living Body. We resort to Michel Onfray?s books, as well as, interviews given by the author in magazines / newspapers to help in our inquiry intentions. For the approach ethics / esthetics in the Physical Education, we use the texts of Silvino Santin and Hugo Lovisolo. Besides, we brought the cinema dialog. We classify this inquiry as a true Odyssey that transported us to unknown places and as a return to other already visited. This travel provided teachings that will help our wisdom on how survive the life, alerting us for the worship to the body like the cultivation of ourselves, and not as search of reaching physical standards stipulated by the society in force.
