Åkesson, Marie January 2018 (has links)
In my essay, I take as starting point stories where I experience that the school context does not take advantage of the possibilities offered by the youth leisure center in gathering information about the students’ knowledge development. In my text I am going to reflect upon my irritation, how I acted and why I acted in a certain way in different situations with students. The aim of my essay is to examine how can I, in my role as a youth leisure center educator act, so that my assessment of the students can be a complement to the school’s assessment. I am even going to investigate what possibilities and learning opportunities offer the youth leisure center in being a complement to the school’s assessment procedure of students. I my essay, I will reflect on my dilemma on the hand, and on the other hand, taking different approaches and points of view. I will discuss how I interpret my actions and experience myself, but also my colleagues in the situations with the students, linked to Dreyfus and Dreyfus’s model of skill acquisition, as well as analyze my attitude by using Aristotle’s concepts of wisdom and understanding. Further on, I will discuss how the youth leisure center can be a complement to school based on peer interaction in practice and development-pedagogical perspectives, as well as through analyzing various governing documents. I conclude my essay with a reflection on my research questions, and how I perceive my task as a youth leisure center teacher to collaborate with the school in assessing the students’ knowledge development. /

The right to State jurisdiction can be analyzed from various angles and horizons, however, is unquestionable that the service provided by the Judiciary, worldwide and in Brazil, is unprofitable. It's lengthy and anguish to people's lives. There is a crisis, complex, historical and chronic of justice system legitimacy and there are no miracle cures. But designing the judiciary as a provider of public service and the magistrate, as responsible for judicial management, as a broadly public servant, are new essential paradigms. The command-administrative management efficiency applies to all the ones that deal with public money. Attach itself to the Science of Administration and plan strategically are costs (new) of the judiciary and the magistrates as a sine qua non condition for reducing the justice system inefficiency, regardless of constitutional amendments and infra. It is the "silent reform". An appropriate division of responsibility, done by the courts in a democratic way, permanently connected to the social dynamic and based on hearing the screaming voice of statistics, can ensure agility in their legal and administrative. That's what we ve tried with this work, bespeak / Em decorrência dos movimentos sociais emancipadores, registrados pela História, o Estado de Direito contemporâneo, democrático e social assumiu inúmeros encargos restacionais, mas realizar os direitos fundamentais é a sua principal missão. É a reforma silenciosa .

A qualitative study of the educator’s participating roles- as an obstacle and opportunity in children’s free play

Ahrencrantz, Sofie, Staaf, Maria January 2021 (has links)
The purpose of this study is to investigate the view of educators on their participation in free play in preschool. Free play is a typical activity for preschool. Engdahl & Ärlemalm-Hagsér (2015) highlight Fröbel as creator of the concept of free play. According to Fröbel, free play is characterized by creativity, freedom, repetition, learning and development (p. 145). Lindgren, Pramling & Säljö (2017) also motivate free play as chosen and led by the children themselves (p.148). With the revised curriculum, play has generally changed and more space has been given. However, the concept of teaching has been added, which means that the free play is being overshadowed. The curriculum for preschool does not highlight the concept of free play, but play in general, where children must be given the conditions for play so that they themselves initiate and that someone in the work team introduces the play to them (p. 8). Play should have a central place in preschool education, where an approach for everyone who is a part of the work team is to encourage play and confirm the importance of play for children’s development, learning and wellbeing (p.8). Nilsson & Lecusay (2020) believe that play is human’s most distinctive feature (p. 78). and that adults should actively contribute to children’s plays (ibid p. 82). As teaching has taken over most of the activities, there is a fear that the play will be overshadowed and taken for granted. Free play may be seen as a normal behavior, which can lead to it being easily taken for granted (Pramling Samuelsson & Asplund Carlsson 2008, p. 629) and therefore must be encouraged and challenged by adults by participating in the play.

Kinders as slagoffers van seksuele misdade

Bukau, Susan Charlotte 11 1900 (has links)
Text in Afrikaans / In this dissertation the legal position with regard to children as victims of sexual crimes is examined in South Africa, England, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Sexual crimes with children are a serious and widespread international problem. The purpose of this study is to identify deficiencies / gaps in the South African law. Children are not only the victims of the sexual crimes, but they are exposed to further trauma whilst giving evidence. Their best interests are also often not taken into proper consideration during the sentencing phase. In is in the interest of justice that children=s interests must be taken into account the whole time. In terms of international conventions and charters State parties are required to protect children against all forms of discrimination, violence, abuse and exploitation. Children may not be exposed to any sexual crimes, because these activities violate their right to bodily (and psychological) integrity, human dignity and privacy. In order to acknowledge the importance of children=s best interest, priority must be given to all cases in which children are the victims and their unique characteristics, age and development must be taken into consideration. This will ensure that they are not further victimized during the trial. Deficiencies in the Criminal Law are addressed by proposing new definitions, for instance for rape and incest. Shortcomings in the Procedural Law are identified and recommendations are made especially with regard to the alternative measures by which children can testify. Guidelines are also suggested for admissible cross-examination. New sentencing options are recommended and possible aggravating circumstances which ought to play a role during the consideration of a suitable and just sentence for sexual crimes with children are suggested. / Criminal & Procedural Law / LL.D.

La coopération entre les superviseurs financiers dans l'Union européenne / Cooperation among financial supervisors in the European Union

Stoeva, Boryana 09 April 2013 (has links)
Nowadays, the cooperation among the financial supervisors in the European Union is a visible necessity. The progressive harmonisation of the legislations of the Member states, the establishment of the European passport in order to facilitate the free movement of actors within the Union, the national competence based on the principle of the country of origin, as well as the mutual recognition of the authorisation procedure and of the controls made necessary the cooperation among financial supervisors in Europe. This necessity is a logical consequence of the financial integration. First, the existence of common rules requires a coherent approach in their implementation thought the European Union. Second, the increasing number of cross-border activities, as well as the emergence of big financial institutions active in several business sectors requires a close relationship between financial supervisors. In a cross-border and intersectoral context the cooperation becomes the main tool of supervision of the financial authorities. This process is in height transformation since the advent of the financial crisis. The cooperation is strengthened and centralised on European level since the establishment of the European Supervisory Authorities. In addition, the centralisation of the supervision in the banking sector at European level does not eliminate the necessity of cooperation, due in particular to the expertise of national authorities, to their knowledge of national, regional and local banking markets, their significant existing resources and to locational and language considerations.
