Aproximando as duas artes: teatral e marcial - kung fu, termo que além de designar uma arte marcial de origem chinesa possui outros significados como, por exemplo, capacidade de aguentar jejum e resistir, vislumbrei desenvolver, com os envolvidos no processo, potencialidades e habilidades, que foram vivenciadas na preparação corporal destes como atores, iniciando pelo treinamento para se chegar ao ensaio e por fim o espetáculo, promovendo de forma prática o aprimoramento do autoconhecimento e de suas relações com o outro e com o espaço, proporcionando um maior domínio do corpo, que se tornou mais expressivo para a criação cênica. Por buscar orientar os processos de trabalho teatral, de modo a tornar a experiência com teatro um meio socializador, fundamentado no principal postulado brechtiano, em que educar e divertir se apresentam essenciais à experiência com os jovens, considerando o contexto aqui abordado, o eixo dessa proposta leva em conta a abordagem práxica do teatro épico, sistematizado por Bertolt Brecht, sobretudo a partir de meados da década de 1920, quando o dramaturgo alemão passa a dedicar-se à criação das peças didáticas. Por meio dessas ideias e das práticas vivenciadas, algumas perguntas surgiram. Por que e como se apropriar de duas artes aparentemente distintas: kung fu e teatro, a fim de possibilitar uma melhor expressão do corpo? Como essas duas artes poderiam interagir, dando origem a um treinamento utilizado em um grupo de teatro? O que há nessa técnica oriental, que mobiliza e contribui para... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: This work is a product of a necessity of register, organize, classify and transpose the knowledges obtained during my actress formation, theater teacher and martial artist, with the intent of better explore the theatrical creation process, by using oriental martial techniques. By uniting these two arts: theatrical and martial -kung fu, term that besides designating a chinese martial art has others meanings such as, capacity of endure a fast and resist, it was possible to develop, with the ones involved, potentialities and abilities, which were experienced in their body preparation as actors, starting by training to get to the rehearsal and at last to the presentation, helping them in a practical way in the improvement of self-knowledge and their relations with each other and with space, providing a greater body control, that became more expressive to the scenic creation. For trying to guide the theatrical work processes, in a way to make the experience with theater a socializing means, grounded in the main brechtian postulate, where to educate and to have fun are essential to the experience with the youngsters, considering the context that was approached here, this proposal takes into account the practical approach of epic theater, systematized by Bertolt Brecht, specially from the middle of the 1920 decade on, when the german dramatugist begins dedicating himself to the creation of educational plays. Through these ideas and experienced practices, some issues came up. Why and how to appropriate of two arts apparently so different: kung fu and theater to enable a better body expression? How could these two arts interact, creating a training used by a theater group? The controversy surrounding the period 1928-1930, the period of Li Li-san's leadership of the Chinese Communist Party, is the central topic of this paper. The controversy itself is over what role the Comintern played in the formation of what is commonly referred to as the "Li Li-san line." The conclusions drawn in this paper show that, though the Comintern did play a small part in the formation of Li's policy, that, nevertheless, his line was of his own making. The disastrous attempt at urban insurrection in 1930 was of Li's own doing: he had been receiving signals for some time that his policies were contradictory to those of the Comintern. In order to give the reader a sense of how this leadership controversy and the policy differences arose, there is also a presentation of some of the background information regarding the labor movement and the CCP's role in it, and Li Li-san himself -his part in the labor movement and his own personality. / Arts, Faculty of / Political Science, Department of / Graduate

The 19th century's Victorian England revived interest in medieval traditions and myths, including King Arthur and the knights of the round table. British artist Eleanor Fortescue-Brickdale painted a set of watercolor illustrations that were published in an edition of Idylls of the King, A collection of poems about the legend of King Arthur, written by Lord Alfred Tennyson. Focusing on a special edition from 1913, this essay aims to explore the intermedial relationship between word and image through a comparative study of Brickdale's illustrations and Tennyson's poem. With questions centering around the rise of book illustration, the relationship between the two mediums and how these aspects affect the viewers reception. The material for analysis includes five of Brickdale's illustrations from the "Elaine-idyll” of Tennyson's collection, as well as other artists interpretations andillustrations for comparison.

Den här uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka hur svensk media rapporterar och gestaltar kung Carl XVI Gustaf under perioden då kungen firade 50 år som Sveriges statschef. Den undersökta perioden är från 11 september 2023 till 17 september 2023. Det analyserade materialet är artiklar från Svensk Damtidning, Dagens Nyheter och Aftonbladet som berör kungen och publicerades under den undersökta perioden. Studien syftar till att tydliggöra hur respektive tidning rapporterar och gestaltar kungen, samt urskilja hur tidningarnas rapportering och gestaltning skiljer sig frånvarandra tidningarna emellan. Materialet som undersöktes bestod av totalt nio artiklar, tre artiklar från varje tidning. De teoretiska utgångspunkterna för studien är gestaltningsteorin, dagordningsteorin, teorier om nyhetsvärdering och nyhetsurval, samt teorier om parasocial interaktion. Uppsatsens frågeställningar besvarades genom en kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Innehållsanalysen bestod av en frågemall utformat utifrån de teoretiska utgångspunkterna. Studiens resultat tydliggör hur respektive tidning rapporterar om kungen och hur kungen gestaltas. Resultatet visar även att tidningarna skiljer sig från varandra i hur man rapporterar och gestaltar kungen.

[pt] O processo de secularização do mundo ocidental trouxe, em sua esteira, diversas implicações teológico-pastorais para o cristianismo. Diante desta realidade, as Igrejas cristãs e cristãos necessitam de articulação para apresentar à seus contemporâneos a mensagem de Jesus de Nazaré de forma contextualizada. Com o objetivo de encontrar um caminho lúcido para responder às interpelações da sociedade secularizada, esta pesquisa recorreu às reflexões do teólogo Hans Kung, que permitiu responder as implicações e firmar a convicção à fé cristã e, sua relevância na atualidade e futuro. / [en] The process of secularization in the Western World brought, in its wake, several pastoral theological implications for Christianity. Faced by this reality, the Christian churches need to be articulated to be able to show the message of Jesus Christ from Nazareth in a coherent, mature and contextualized manner to their contemporaries. In order to find a lucid path to answer the questioning of a secularized society, this research made use of contributions by Hans Kung the theologian, allowing to clear up the Christian faith nowadays. Following this will be possible to find a good reflection about the secularization and current religious effervescence allowing the extreme conviction of a necessary and relevant Christian message in the modern world. Closing this exposure with pastoral theological proposals to the present time and a very soon explanation about the future of Christianity.

[pt] Por uma ética mais humana - uma reflexão sobre os referenciais éticos da pós-modernidade e a proposta ética da mensagem cristã aborda a sociedade pós-moderna neste tempo de constantes evoluções técnico-científicas, a hipermodernidade. As manifestações humano-sociais assumem uma configuração própria, conseqüência de um intenso processo de personalização. As frequentes inovações nem sempre produzem os frutos esperados. Muitas de suas conquistas são responsáveis por uma flagrante carência de valores e princípios éticos, por um indiferente subjetivismo e por um generalizado sintoma de vazio existencial. Cada vez mais vigoroso, o individualismo irresponsável torna-se uma real ameaça à sobrevivência humana. Essa situação interpela e desafia a todos, revelando a urgência de novos referenciais comportamentais que dinamizem novos relacionamentos e novas atitudes humanas, mais solidárias e mais responsáveis. Segundo Hans Kung, pelo poder de influência que ainda possuem, as grandes religiões são capazes de fomentar e dinamizar novos princípios e valores éticos. Para isso, é necessário buscar um consenso mínimo, sustentado no diálogo e no respeito mútuo. Levando em consideração a análise feita por Gilles Lipovetsky e a proposta ética ecumênica de Hans Kung, esta dissertação se propõe apresentar a mensagem cristã como uma autêntica proposta ética, capaz de dar uma significativa contribuição à humanidade nestes tempos de vulnerabilidade. Acreditamos que a Boa Nova do Evangelho se reveste de uma significativa preocupação com a dignidade humana e com a vida em todas as suas manifestações, oferecendo as bases fundamentais para edificar um mundo mais justo e mais humano. / [en] For a ethics more human - A reflection upon postmodernity ethical references and the ethical proposition of the Christian message presentes the postmodern society at times of constant technical-scientific evolution, the hypermodernity. Being subjected by constant technical-scientific evolution, postmodern society has achieved its summit. According to Gilles Lipovetsky, we have reached hypermodernity, in which the human-social manifestations take on a particular configuration, consequence of an intense process of personalization. This society characterizes itself by frequent innovations which don t always yield the pretended purpose. Many of its achievements are responsible for flagrant shortage of ethical values and principles, indifferent subjectivism and a generalized symptom of existential emptiness. While getting more vigorous, the irresponsible individualism becomes a real threat to human survival. This situation questions e dares everyone, revealing the urgency of new behavioral references that could stimulate new relationships and human attitudes, more solidary and responsible. As stated by Hans Kung, through the power of influence that they still possess, major religions are able to promote and stimulate novel ethical values and principles. Therefore, it is necessary to search for a minimum consensus, based on dialog and mutual respect. Reflecting upon the analysis accomplished by Gilles Lipovetsky and the ecumenical ethical proposition of Hans Kung, the present dissertation means to present the Christian message as an authentic ethical proposition, capable of bestowing a significant contribution to humanity in such vulnerable times. It is believed that Gospel s Good News overlays itself with significant worry towards human dignity and life in all its manifestations, offering the fundamental basis to build a more fair and human world.

<p>Fast addition is essential in many DSP algorithms. Various structures have been introduced to speed up the time critical carry propagation. For high throughput applications, however, it may be necessary to introduce pipelining. In this report the power consumption of four different adder structures, with varying word length and different number of pipeline cuts, is compared. </p><p>Out of the four adder structures compared, the Kogge-Stone parallel prefix adder proves to be the best choice most of the time. The Brent-Kung parallel prefix adder is also a good choice, but the maximal throughput does not reach as high as the maximal throughput of the Kogge-Stone parallel prefix adder.</p>
