Previous issue date: 2017-08-30 / Coordena??o de Aperfei?oamento de Pessoal de N?vel Superior (CAPES) / Este trabalho analisa os determinantes da participa??o dos trabalhadores e trabalhadoras rurais no Programa Nacional de Cr?dito Fundi?rio no munic?pio de Touros/RN, no per?odo de 2003 a 2014. Para tanto, considera como determinante os aspectos econ?micos e pol?ticos da forma??o social brasileira, destacando a inser??o do pa?s no sistema capitalista e o avan?o do capital no campo. Em adi??o, destaca os rebatimentos do ajuste fiscal e da contrarreforma do Estado sobre a pol?tica fundi?ria que vem priorizando a reforma agr?ria de mercado em detrimento da desapropria??o de terras e do combate ao latif?ndio. A reestrutura??o do capital tem provocado a precariza??o da vida da classe trabalhadora, acentuando a situa??o de empobrecimento das pessoas do campo evidenciada pelo aumento da concentra??o fundi?ria e, consequentemente, do conflito de terras. O Programa Nacional de Cr?dito Fundi?rio enfatiza a participa??o e a autonomia para a escolha da terra sem conflitos, como benef?cios. Para maior aproxima??o a essa realidade, a pesquisa em campo ocorreu com visita ?s ?reas adquiridas pelo Programa no munic?pio de Touros. Nesta ocasi?o, foi utilizado como t?cnica de coleta de dados um question?rio com perguntas abertas e fechadas, respondidas coletivamente pelas fam?lias associadas para a compra da terra. Posteriormente, foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com dirigentes sindicais do munic?pio de Touros. O resultado da pesquisa evidenciou o esvaziamento pol?tico quanto ? concep??o de participa??o e autonomia adotadas pelo Programa e passividade em rela??o ? concentra??o fundi?ria por parte do movimento sindical. / This project analyzes the determinants of the participation of rural workers in the National Land Credit Program without the municipality of Bulls / RN, from 2003 to 2014. Therefore, it considers as determinant the economic and political aspects of the Brazilian social formation, highlighting the insertion of the country in the capitalist system and the advance of the capital in the field. In addition, it emphasizes the refutations of the fiscal adjustment and the counterreform of the State on the land policy that has prioritized the agrarian reform of the market to the detriment of the expropriation of lands and the fight against the latifundio. Capital restructuring provoked the precariousness of working-class life, accentuating the impoverishment of rural people, evidenced by the increased concentration of land and, consequently, by land conflict. The National Land Credit Program emphasizes participation and autonomy for the choice of land without conflicts, as benefits. To get closer to this reality, the field research took place with a visit to the areas acquired by the Program in the municipality of Touros. On this occasion, a questionnaire with open and closed questions, collectively answered by the families associated with the purchase of land, was used as data collection technique. Subsequently, semi-structured interviews were conducted with union leaders from the municipality of Touros. The result of the research evidenced the political emptying of the conception of participation and autonomy adopted by the Program and lack of criticality in relation to the landed concentration by the trade union movement.

Previous issue date: 2016-07-12 / A presente pesquisa tomou como refer?ncia a popula??o em situa??o de rua como uma manifesta??o da quest?o social, o que implica um fen?meno gerado a partir de condi??es hist?ricas, com a media??o de aspectos sociais, econ?micos e pol?ticos. Em consequ?ncia da organiza??o e das lutas do Movimento Nacional da Popula??o de Rua, atualmente, no Brasil, tal fen?meno ? abordado pelo Estado como uma quest?o transversal a v?rias ?reas da gest?o p?blica. Assim, em 2011, surge a Pol?tica Nacional Para a Popula??o em Situa??o de Rua, em que foram criados os Consult?rios na Rua (CnaR). Estes s?o equipamentos da aten??o b?sica voltados para a preven??o e promo??o de sa?de junto ? popula??o em situa??o de rua. Nessa dire??o, esta pesquisa visou a entender a atua??o dos profissionais dos CnaR no munic?pio do Natal/RN. O objetivo geral foi analisar a atua??o das equipes do CnaR frente ?s demandas e necessidades de sa?de da popula??o em situa??o de rua do munic?pio de Natal/RN. De forma mais espec?fica, pretendeu-se caracterizar as pr?ticas dos profissionais do CnaR; problematizar os limites e as potencialidades desse equipamento na sua rela??o com a rede de sa?de e com a intersetorialidade; e discutir como se d? o acesso ao cuidado integral ? sa?de da popula??o em situa??o de rua, por meio das pr?ticas do CnaR. Assim, foram feitas entrevistas semiestruturadas com os profissionais das equipes e, concomitantemente, observa??o participante e registros em di?rios de campo a partir do acompanhamento de uma das equipes. Em Natal/RN, existem tr?s equipes do CnaR, localizadas em duas regi?es da cidade, sendo elas compostas por 19 profissionais e um coordenador. Participaram das entrevistas 17 profissionais. Foi constatado que as demandas que chegam para as equipes s?o bastante diversificadas, mas ligadas ao perfil de desassist?ncia e nega??o de direitos caracter?stico dessa popula??o, o que exige uma educa??o cr?tica e permanente acerca do fen?meno, algo que foi visto como incipiente. Al?m disso, o trabalho dos profissionais se d? na dire??o das pr?ticas voltadas para a inser??o dos usu?rios na rede de sa?de, como o matriciamento, e no atendimento ?s demandas apresentadas no campo ? e essas ?ltimas acabam sendo priorizadas por seu volume. A dificuldade de articula??o com outros servi?os da rede emergiu como uma das mais marcantes da atua??o e, junto com o excesso de atividades, foi apresentada como limite para a efetiva inser??o dos usu?rios na rede. Constatou-se tamb?m que h? uma necessidade de estimular a articula??o com parceiros centrais como o NASF e o MNPR. Por fim, ? importante ressaltar que entender as pr?ticas dos CnaR permite ampliar o entendimento da constru??o das pol?ticas sociais para a popula??o em situa??o de rua, diminuir a invisibilidade e promover a constru??o de possibilidade de uma transforma??o na realidade desse p?blico. / This research took people under street condition as a manifestation of the Social Issue, implying a phenomenon generated from historical conditions, with the mediation of social, economic and political aspects. As a result of the organization and the struggles of the National Movement of People Under Street Condition, currently in Brazil this phenomenon is addressed by the State as a transversal issue for various areas of public administration. Thus, in 2011, arises the National Policy to the Population under Street Condition, from which the Street Clinics were created (CnaR). These are equipments of Primary Care focused on prevention and health promotion among the people under street condition. In this sense, this research aimed to understand the work of CnaR professionals in the city of Natal/RN. The general objective was to analyze the practices of CnaR teams toward the demands and health needs of the people under street condition of Natal/RN. More specifically, it sought to characterize the practices of CNAR professionals; problematize the limits and potential of this equipment in their relationship with the health network and the intersectorality and; discuss how the access to full health care of the population people under street condition takes place through CnaR practices. Aiming these objectives, semi-structured interviews were conducted with professional teams and, concomitantly, participant observation and records in field diaries from the observations of one of the teams. There are three teams CnaR in Natal/RN, located in two areas of the city, composed of 19 professionals and a coordinator. Seventeen professionals participated in the interviews. It was found that the demands that come to the teams are quite diverse, but related to lack of assistance profile and denial of rights that characterizes this population, which requires a critical and permanent education about the phenomenon, which was seen as incipient. Moreover, the work of professionals takes place in the direction of practices aiming the integration of users in the health system, such as matrx support, and facing immediate demands in the field, and the latter end up being prioritized because its volume. Integration with other network services has emerged as one of the most outstanding difficulties for the practices and, along with excess of activity, was presented as limitation for the effective integration of users in the network. It was also found that there is a need to encourage cooperation with main partners as NASF and MNPR. Finally, it is important to highlight that the understanding of the practices of CnaR allows greater understanding of the construction of social policies for the people under street condition, reduces the invisibility and promote the construction of the possibility of a change in the reality of this public.

Al?m disso, buscou entender os reais motivos que levaram essas pessoas a sa?rem do v?nculo empregat?cio considerando todo o vi?s que envolve as rela??es de trabalho existentes na Organiza??o. A revis?o bibliogr?fica foi centrada em documentos legais que regem a carreira dos servidores T?cnico-Administrativos das Institui??es Federais de Ensino Superior (IFES), a estrutura da UFRN e trabalhos de autores que desenvolveram estudos sobre esse tema, al?m de pesquisas sobre o estado da arte. Trata o presente estudo de uma pesquisa de levantamento descritivo e, para atingir seus objetivos, foi realizada coleta de dados atrav?s da aplica??o de um question?rio online utilizando-se da ferramenta Google docs para chegar ? popula??o pesquisada, que totalizou 268 pessoas. Conclu?da a coleta de dados, obteve-se o retorno de 122 question?rios respondidos, sendo utilizado para tratamento destas informa??es o SPSS (Statistical for Social Sciences). O principal motivo apontado como insatisfa??o no ?rg?o refere-se ? remunera??o inerente ? Carreira dos Servidores T?cnico-Administrativos, representada pelo percentual de 91,2% das respostas e, por essa raz?o, pode-se concluir o entendimento pela busca por novos cargos no servi?o p?blico, confirmada pelo resultado de 77% dos casos. Com base nos dados desse estudo, percebe-se que, apesar do alto ?ndice de insatisfa??o com as quest?es salariais, de modo geral, o clima organizacional e a satisfa??o nas rela??es de trabalho se apresentaram de maneira favor?vel ? Institui??o pesquisada. / Present research arose from intention to identify the profile of Education Administrative Techinicians of Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) who requested Vacancy by Possession in Another Unaccountable Position and Exoneration, from occupied positions in that Institution between 2010 and 2015. In addition, It sought to understand real reasons that led these people to leave their employment bond considering all the bias that surrounds existing labor relations in the Organization. Bibliographic Review focused on legal documents governing career of the Administrative Techinicians of Federal Institutions of Higher Education (IFES), structure of UFRN and works of authors who have developed studies on this subject, as well as researches on the state of the art. This study concerns a descriptive survey and, in order to achieve its objectives, data collection was performed through the application of an online questionnaire using Google Docs tool to reach surveyed population, which totalized 268 people. 122 questionnaires were responded, and SPSS (Statistical for Social Sciences) was used to treat this information. Main cited reason as dissatisfaction in the Board refers to remuneration inherent to the Career of Administrative Techinicians, represented by the percentage of 91.2% of the answers and, for this reason, one can conclude the understanding for seeking new positions in Public Service, confirmed by the result of 77% of the cases. Based on the data of this study, it is noticed that, in spite of the high index of dissatisfaction with the salary issues, in general, organizational climate and the satisfaction in labor relationships presented a favorable way to researched Institution.

Previous issue date: 2012-06-11 / This research takes us to a reflection about the contribution of School Geography in the curriculum of the Agricultural Technician through the discussion of environmental questions. The aim of this research is to comprehend how the geography teaching, through the studying of environmental questions, can contribute to the formation of the Agricultural Technician, having in mind a formation that links contents of general teaching to a technical subject. This knowledge will be reached through interviews with students of 2nd and 3rd grades in the course of Agricultural Technician integrated into high school, at the Instituto Federal Baiano - Campus Catu. In this context, the researcher assumes that for the formation of high school technicians who will work in Brazilian agricultural business is necessary the transmission of knowledge in a way that the traditional subjects of high school should be straightly integrated to the technician contents. Besides is also necessary to make the students sensitive to environmental questions in order to guarantee that the school is preparing technicians with a critical vision and enough knowledge to transform their environment through the perspective of Environment Development, promoting the formation of ?citizens? who know the general problems of Brazilian society in their multiple aspects, such as social, economical, political and environmental issues. The result of the research made leads to the conclusion that in first place the Geography teaching is consistent with the formation of the Agricultural Technician and that concepts like nature and environmental questions are straightly linked to the understanding of the relation between society and nature that collaborates for the student understands the earth not as a bargaining chip for capital accumulation but as an element of economical and sustainable development. The last conclusion is that the concept of sustainable development is not so released among students but the practices to take to it are well known by them. Besides, the reform of agricultural education that divides enabling agricultural into agricultural and livestock seems not to promote employability. / Este trabalho nos leva a uma reflex?o sobre a contribui??o da Geografia Escolar na forma??o do T?cnico agr?cola, a partir da discuss?o das quest?es ambientais. Previous issue date: 2016-02-29 / The purpose of this work is to study the Peasant Reserve Zone (Zona de Reserva Campesina, ZRC) of the Cabrera municipality in Colombia, created in 2000. The ZRC are territories created by Law 160, 1994, their background being the peasant mobilizations during the eighties that vindicated the solution to problems related to the agrarian issue and the support to the peasant economy. They characterize for the slight presence of the State, especially by the repressive and coercive actions. In some cases, these are places with presence of armed actors and illicit crops. The ZRC constitute a rural development and agrarian reform proposal that includes an active role from the local communities. Since its enactment, through Decree 1777, 1996, six ZRC were institutionalized. The study of ZRC in Cabrera intends, in the first place, to understand the connection between a past of wars, struggles, and resistance to the access and permanence in the land during the 20th Century in the Sumapaz region, where the municipality of Cabrera is located, and the creation of the ZRC; secondly, it searches to identify the agrarian reform actions in the territory, understanding that the reservation areas seek to establish a limit to the property and correct the unequal land distribution; finally, the study aims at identifying the main progress and difficulties as from its establishment, as well as the new challenges faced by it, arising not only from the access to the land, but also from the defense of the territory and the environment. / O presente trabalho tem como objetivo estudar a Zona de Reserva Camponesa (ZRC) do munic?pio de Cabrera, na Col?mbia, institu?da em 2000. As ZRC s?o territ?rios criados atrav?s da Lei n?160 de 1994 e t?m como antecedentes as mobiliza??es dos camponeses na d?cada de 1980 que reivindicavam a solu??o de problemas relacionados ? quest?o fundi?ria e o apoio ? economia camponesa. S?o territ?rios caracterizados pela presen?a diferenciada do Estado, caracterizada particularmente pelas a??es repressivas e coercitivas. Em alguns casos, s?o tamb?m lugares com presen?a de atores armados e de cultivos il?citos. As ZRC constituem uma proposta de desenvolvimento rural e de reforma agr?ria, atrav?s de um papel ativo das comunidades locais. Desde sua regulamenta??o pelo decreto n?1777 de 1996, foram institucionalizadas seis ZRC. Collaboration Between Children : working with the educational software Quest Atlantis / Barns samarbete i användandet av den utbildande mjukvaran Quest AtlantisCollin, Charlotte, Olsson, Therese, Persson, Sofie January 2004 (has links)
Will the different levels of knowledge contribute to a collaborative learning? This thesis is based on a tuition experiment with children in small groups, working with the educational software Quest Atlantis at Kensington Park Elementary school in Miami. During this research we have found some similarities and new concepts within Damon’s and Phelps’s three peer learning concepts (1989). Through our investigation of how children collaborate and learn from each other, we discovered that anyone could be a contributor to the collaboration. Through our transcription we defined and measured patterns of collaboration between the pupils, which we used to identify how the pupils collaborated. Out of this we constructed two new concepts, Temporary Expert and Concealed Contributor, which affects the collaboration in different ways. / Den här uppsatsen är baserad på experimentell undervisning med barn i små grupper som arbetar med det utbildande mjukvaruprogrammet Quest Atlantis. Undervisningen hölls på Kensington Park Elementary school i Miami, Fl –USA. Under vår undersökning har vi hittat likheter, men även nya koncept inom Damon’s och Phelp’s tre ”peer learning” koncept (1989). Genom vår undersökning om hur barn samarbetar och lär av varandra, upptäckte vi att alla tillförde något till samarbetet. I vår transkribering kunde vi definiera och mäta olika typer av samarbetsmönster mellan eleverna. Med hjälp av dessa samarbetsmönster kunde vi sedan identifiera hur eleverna samarbetade. L’oeuvre de Wieslaw Mysliwski, auteur connu et primé de la littérature contemporaine polonaise, tire ses racines de la culture paysanne traditionnelle. La clef anthropologique d’analyse de cette oeuvre semble être la plus efficace pour présenter les contenus et la mécanique de cette culture. Même si elle est encore proche dans le temps cette culture n’en est pas moins éloignée des enjeux de la modernité d’un Polonais du XXIème siècle.La mémoire collective du monde paysan suscite un vrai questionnement quant à ses voies, son exercice et ses contenus. Elle se niche dans trois couches de l’activité humaine : biologique, sociale et culturelle. L’analyse éthologique montre que la mémoire du monde paysan se révèle dans le rapport de l’homme aux animaux et dans le conditionnement de l’homme par ses gènes - lien indestructible entre les humains. L’approche sociologique révèle la stéréotypie des comportements humains dans l’interaction sociale, ce qui contribue au caractère universel des écrits de Wieslaw Mysliwski. Le monde paysan traditionnel y est magnifié par la façon dont est présenté l’imaginaire de la campagne polonaise. La pensée mythique donne structure et dynamique à sa configuration. L’oeuvre de Wieslaw Mysliwski illustre le passage de la société traditionnelle communautaire vers la société moderne individualiste. Son originalité consiste en la découverte d’un processus : les personnages de Wieslaw Mysliwski, après être passés par la société moderne, retournent à leur source paysanne pour s’y reconstituer en tant qu’individus qui arrivent à synthétiser en eux les valeurs traditionnelles et modernes. L’oeuvre de Wieslaw Mysliwski est un monument de mémoire de la campagne polonaise, dans le sens où elle est une proposition féconde des moyens de préservation et de fonctionnement de cette culture par sa dynamique créatrice propre. / Literary art of Wieslaw Mysliwski, a famous prize-winning contemporary Polish author, is deepely rooted inthe Polish peasant culture and its ancient traditions. Taking that fact into account, an anthropological approachof textual analysis is probably the one which can present the contents of this culture and explain its functioningmost clearly. Though close in time, for it's nearly our contemporary, peasant culture is, at the same time, faraway because of the gap between its values and those modern Polish men and women look up to. The moststriking element of the peasant culture is its collective memory, a puzzling phenomenon as to its ways, itscontents and its workings, operating in three layers, each delving deeper into human nature: the cultural stratus,the social one and, finally, the organic core which is the deepest of them all. The ethological approach revealsthe fact that the collective memory is linked to the way men treat animals and the way genetic heritage, thatlink one cannot destroy, frames their behaviour. As for the sociological approach, the latter deals with theexamples of stock behaviour in social interaction. That gives a universal dimension to Wieslaw Mysliwski'swriting. His craftsmanship consists in magnifying the traditional rural world by the way he depicts its capacityof generating transcendence. Mythical thinking gives structure and dynamics to its layout. WieslawMysliwski's writing deals with the transition from the traditional society, defined by the tight group links, tothe modern individualistic one. His originality resides in discovering that in order to become a person in hisown right, an individual needs both modernity and tradition. Thus, the characters Mysliwski portraits alwaysreturn to the peasant traditions to resource themselves. Wieslaw Mysliwski's literary art can be regarded as atribute to the Polish peasant culture as it reveals its capacity of constant rebirth. It is a sanctuary dedicated tothe memory of the Polish rural world.

Construit sur un réseau de contrastes, le monde romanesque de Fred Vargas arbore le masque de la fiction policière. Les meurtres au présent cachent les meurtrissures de l’amour au passé. Médiateur entre ces pôles diégétiques, la passion du personnage vargassien fait faillir les règles du jeu que lui impose le monde. Car derrière les apparences civilisées perdure l’ordre originel de Nature : la prédation. Face à son échec, le personnage doit relever un défi qui transforme son enquête sur le crime en une quête identitaire. Choisir la transgression ou le sacrifice de soi décide de sa chute ou du resurgissement de sa dignité. Superposant l’intrigue et l’Histoire, le hic et nunc diégétique confère au personnage le rôle de trait d’union entre les Ici et les Ailleurs identitaires adverses. L’enquête approche la psyché du meurtrier et de l’enquêteur, reconstituant l’interaction de l’individu et du monde précisé en tant que son chronotope synchronique et diachronique. La relation entre l’homme et ses Autres révèle la personne derrière le personnage. La confrontation de l’animal humain aux animaux réels et mythifiés, remet en question les frontières entre l’identité et l’altérité. Le réel meurtrier s’avère incarner un des masques de l’imaginaire, tandis que l’imaginaire, érigé en idéal de l’humanité, devient une réalité à conquérir au prix du sacrifice de soi, et dévoile la polyvalence des réalités de l’échec et l’accomplissement. L’analyse du jeu de miroirs entre l’opposition et la complémentarité conclut à l’union des contraires qui fait coexister l’horreur et le sublime, l’amour et la mort dans le couple d’opposés que forment l’homme et le monde. / Built on a network of contrasts, the romantic world of Fred Vargas bears the mask of detective fiction.The murders of the present hide the bruises of love in the past.Mediator between these diegetic poles,the passion of Vargas’s character breaches the rules of the game that is imposed on him by the world.For behind these civilized appearances ,the original order continues:predation. Confronted by his failure,the character must take up a challenge that will transform his investigation in a quest for identity. Selecting either transgression or self-sacrifice will determine whether he collapses or reappears with his dignity.Converging the plot and the Story, the diegetic here and now bestows upon the character the role of linking the Here and Elsewhere, and adverse identities. The enquiry approaches, the psyche of the murderer and the investigator, reconstituting the interaction between the individual and the world, defined as its synchronic and diachronic chronotope. Pour beaucoup de Thaïlandais, les pays occidentaux représentent la richesse, le développement et la modernité. Comme les hommes et les femmes Thaïlandais, les kathoeys ou les personnes transgenres MTF (male-to-female) Thaïlandaises cherchent aussi à partir à l'étranger en espérant réussir leur vie. Cette étude anthropologique, basée sur un travail de terrain dans quatre pays européens : France, Allemagne, Pays-Bas et Suisse, tente de donner une vision globale de la migration des kathoeys et leur lutte pour une meilleure vie dans leur pays d'accueil. Cette recherche considère leur processus migratoire comme une quête de soi, une recherche d'un bien-être et de la vie dont elles rêvent, ce qui n'est pas seulement économique, mais aussi sentimental et personnel : possibilités de devenir une femme, de trouver un partenaire et d'avoir une relation de couple, possibilités de changer leur statut légal etc. Différentes formes d'échanges économiques-sexuels-affectifs entre les kathoeys et leurs partenaires Européens doivent être pris en compte comme faisant partie de leurs stratégies migratoires, ce qui peut contribuer à améliorer leur condition économique et sociale, et les aider à accomplir leur quête intime personnelle et sentimentale. / For many in Thailand, Western Countries evoke visions of wealth, development, and modernity. Like other Thai men and women, kathoeys or transgender MTF persons also strive to go abroad and to attain the life they dream of in the West. This anthropological research, based on three-years of fieldwork in four European countries: France, Germany, The Netherlands, and Switzerland, aims at giving a full account of Thai kathoeys' settlement conditions and shows how they struggle throughout their lives and in terms of their gender. This study, drawn from interviews, discussions, and observations, considers kathoeys' migration process as a search for their own well-being and lifestyle that they long for, which is concerned not only with economical necessities, but also sentimental needs i.e. the possibilities of becoming a woman, finding a partner and having a relationship, or changing their legal status etc. The analytical part of this research explores different strategies, such as the identity camouflage or the mobilization of their social transnational relations which kathoey migrants adopt to be able to live normally as women in their new social environment. The different forms of economical-sexual-emotional relationships between kathoey migrants and European men need to be understood as a part of their migration strategy which gives them a chance to improve their economic and social status as well as to achieve their quest for intimacy.

L’imaginaire contemporain a vu naître une esthétique du fragment qui se caractérise par la dissolution du sujet en quête d’identité dans un monde privé de stabilité et de repères au lendemain du traumatisme suscité par la guerre et la menace nucléaire. Le déni du principe de linéarité, les jeux de l’intertextualité et de l’intergénéricité de même que l’éclatement des schémas de représentation qui sous-tendent les romans réalistes traditionnels favorisent le déploiement des grilles de lecture interprétative au détriment de l’harmonisation des discours. Cette thèse, qui couvre l’intégralité de la fiction fowlesienne depuis 1963, se propose de diagnostiquer les symptômes de la crise ainsi postulée, par le prisme d’une étude (méta)textuelle, narratologique, linguistique, philosophique, mythocritique et psychanalytique. Il s’agit de voir comment l’auteur, les narrateurs et les protagonistes mis en scène envisagent de résoudre leur conflit existentiel et de réintégrer le réel dont ils se sont peu à peu désolidarisés. Ces derniers peuvent choisir de disloquer le réel pour mieux l’apprivoiser et pouvoir ensuite se l’approprier ou encore de recoller les fragments éparpillés en projetant leur moi à travers une identité fictive idéale pour retrouver le chemin de leur individuation. Une telle évolution du dissensus au consensus traduit la veine humaniste d’une œuvre qui s’efforce non seulement de faire renouer l’individu avec son moi authentique mais aussi de le réconcilier avec les autres dans un univers qui gagne en cohérence. / The contemporary imaginary has given rise to an aesthetics of fragmentation which is characterized by the dissolution of the self in search of an identity in a world deprived of stability and landmarks soon after the trauma caused by the war and nuclear threat. The refusal to follow the principle of linearity, together with the play involved in intertextuality and intergenericity, the disruption of representational patterns underlying traditional realistic novels, favour the display of reader responses at the expense of the harmony of utterances. This thesis, which covers the whole of Fowles’s fiction since 1963, aims at diagnosing the symptoms of the aforementioned crisis by means of a study including metatextual, narratorial, linguistic, philosophical, mythocritical and psychoanalytical tools. We will see how the author, the narrators, the protagonists on stage consider coming to terms with their existential conflicts and returning to a reality they have progressively dissociated themselves from. The latter can either choose to disintegrate the « real » in order to get a better apprehension of it and then to put the scattered fragments together again so as to appropriate them, while projecting their selves through an ideal and a fictional identity, which paves the way for their individuation. Such an evolution from dissensus to consensus conveys the humanistic vein of a work which endeavours not only to have the individual take up with his/her more authentic self but also to reconcile him/her with the others within a universe gaining in coherence.
