Apresenta uma discussão quanto à relação contemporânea da Cibercultura no contexto das tecnologias digitais mediadas pelas ações culturais da sociedade e da educação em relação a um determinado grupo social: jovens. Este é um grupo social influenciado pelos interesses do capital, na formação de uma mão de obra informatizada. O corpo teórico da dissertação apresenta discussões acerca da sociedade informacional para o contexto tecnológico do ciberespaço e da cibercultura, que passa a ter um impacto nas possibilidades de educação de jovens de escolas públicas. Discutimos também a inclusão digital e inclusão social como um processo informacional não tecnocrático, buscando perceber as concepções da inclusão social num processo de humanização e desumanização da inclusão digital, numa perspectiva de superação de uma inclusão perversa e subalterna das tecnologias a grupos sociais excluídos. Escolhemos como campo de análise dois projetos que promovem a inclusão digital para jovens de escolas públicas: O CLICidadão, do Espaço Ciência e o OJE - Olimpíadas de Jogos Digitais e Educação. Os sujeitos da pesquisa são jovens estudantes que participam desses projetos. Realizamos entrevistas semi-estruturadas, grupo focal e formulários online para capturar as perspectivas e concepções dos jovens. Analisamos os dados com o auxílio da técnica de Análise de Conteúdos, à luz de uma matriz pautada em quatro capitais: social, técnico, cultural e intelectual a partir de três dimensões: técnica, cognitiva e econômica. Essa matriz visualizada nas concepções e perspectivas dos jovens nos faz perceber as dimensões da pesquisa e dos projetos na informatização de estudantes jovens de escolas públicas. Chegamos à conclusão que os dois projetos pesquisados efetivam a inclusão digital, pois existe uma proposta de informatização aliada à formação dos jovens inscritos. No projeto CLICidadão percebemos que os jovens possuem uma concepção de inclusão digital que contempla as dimensões de análise. Quanto ao projeto OJE, percebemos que a concepção de inclusão digital aliada à inclusão social não contempla todas as dimensões de análise. O importante é perceber que os projetos vão além do aspecto técnico, mas ainda não possuem uma visão crítica de inclusão digital numa perspectiva totalmente emancipatória, pois, embora a dimensão da empregabilidade esteja aliada a outras dimensões, essa perspectiva ainda limita os jovens a uma inclusão subalterna e perversa

Trata-se também das mesmas festas retratadas nas pinturas do acervo do Museu de Arte Primitiva de Assis José Nazareno Mimessi, como produto das culturas populares subalternas. Analisa suas características estéticas e simbólicas e como seus elementos fundantes permanecem, suas possíveis descaracterizações e os processos de assimilação e acomodação das diferentes culturas que nelas transitam, com vistas a ampliar as conceituações sobre as manifestações das culturas populares do país e colaborar para ampliar a compreensão da realidade na qual estamos inseridos. Por outro lado, este trabalho pretende, ainda, examinar a festa popular estudada como significativo instrumento de comunicação que ultrapassou os limites do passado, compreender como acontecem no presente e projetar perspectivas para a edificação da identidade cultural das culturas subalternas, no futuro. Também pretende apresentar as representações imagéticas das culturas populares subalternas como elementos de sustentação das tradições mantidas pela oralidade, assim como registros e documentos para compreender como se dá a acomodação e reestruturação das novas informações e influências trazidas pelos processos comunicacionais da contemporaneidade. / This research is a study of the Epiphany Celebrations performed in the rural district Ribeirão Grande, in Ourinhos/SP, and neighboring cities. The same celebrations portrayed in the paintings of the Museu de Arte de Assis José Nazareno Mimessi collection are studied as well, as a product of subaltern cultures. It analyzes their esthetic and symbolic characteristics and how their founding elements remain: their likely decharacterization and also the assimilation and accommodation processes of the cultures which transit in them. Aiming to broaden the concept spectrum on the country´s popular cultural manifestations as well as to contribute to widen the understanding of the reality in which we are inserted. On the other, this work expects, also, to examine this celebration as a significant communication tool which has surpassed the boundaries of the past, to understand how they occur in the present and to draw perspectives on the edification of the cultural identity of subaltern cultures, in the future. It also intends to present subaltern cultures imagetic representations as sustaining elements of traditions which are held on through orality as well as records and documents, in order to understand how the accommodation and restructuring of new information and influences brought on by contemporary communicational processes take place.

Esta pesquisa estuda o comportamento dos meios impressos de comunicação, denominado inação midiática, em relação às manifestações populares subalternas. Aborda algumas características da mídia impressa hegemônica e seu papel de informar com o objetivo de colaborar na construção de uma sociedade que valorize seus diversos bens culturais. O estudo analisa, como exemplo, as singularidades de dois importantes veículos da mídia impressa paulista, os jornais Folha de S.Paulo e O Estado de S.Paulo. A tese que aqui se apresenta propõe o aprofundamento epistemológico da relação entre a mídia impressa, a sociedade por meio de ações de políticas públicas adequadas e a cultura popular subalterna, agrupando-as em dois eixos fundamentais de reflexão: a relação mídia e sociedade globalizada, articulando conceitos de cidadania e cultura, e a relação mídia e novas tecnologias, investigando os efeitos globalizantes e os benefícios provenientes dos novos protagonistas midiáticos para a cultura subalterna. / This research studies the behavior of the print media, termed media inaction, in relation to subaltern popular manifestations. Discusses some characteristics of the hegemonic print media and its role of informing in order to collaborate in building a society that values its various cultural goods. This study analyses, for example, the singularities of two major newspapers of São Paulo: Folha de S.Paulo and O Estado de S.Paulo. This thesis suggests a epistemological deepening of relation between the print media, society through appropriate actions of public policies and subaltern popular culture, grouping them into two main axes of reflection: the relation media and globalized society, articulating concepts of citizenship and culture, and the relation media and new technologies, investigating the globalization effects and the benefits from the new media protagonists for the subaltern culture.

A law capable of serving the subalterns movements as an instrument of social emancipation / Saber se o direito pode ser emancipatório é a questão que este texto se propõe a responder, sob o ponto de vista de Boaventura de Sousa Santos. A abordagem parte de uma análise das condições da crise em que se encontra o direito nas sociedades capitalistas desde que foi transformado em direito estatal e científico e esta passou a ser a única forma de direito válida nessas sociedades. Como resposta, o autor propõe um novo uso do direito, através da legalidade cosmopolita subalterna, capaz de servir aos movimentos e lutas subalternos, resgatando assim o potencial do direito como instrumento de emancipação social.

The empirical corpus is a set of rhythms: sússia, catira, drum, roda and congo. The choise was motivated because they have cultural reference in the State. The goal was identify the Tocantins Drums group formation and appropriate. For this purpose was achieved, it was proposed specifically: understand the importance of the relationship between culture and communication and subaltern culture and mass culture; identify which group's proposal and how the rhythms are worked; understand how to constitute the identities of the group, to identify the elements and belonging of the project participants; verify that the more traditional groups are recognized in the representation of the Drums of Tocantins and realize what the differences between them.The assumptions were that participants in the group Drums of Tocantins developed from a traditional style, but incorporating elements of mass culture, its own forms and styles of cultural expression and acquired a positive stance in relation to the rhythms and music critics as massive , which could result in the construction of their identity.After the conclusion of the proposed research, it was found that not exacly those factors constitute the identity of the group, but a greater bond, the social inclusion. / O tema norteador dessa pesquisa é a apropriação de ritmos tradicionais tocantinenses em um projeto de música percussiva chamado Tambores do Tocantins. O corpus empírico é um conjunto de ritmos: sússia, catira, tambor, congo e roda. A escolha desse objeto foi motivada por eles serem referência nas manifestações culturais do Estado. O objetivo era identificar a dinâmica de formação de identidade do grupo Tambores do Tocantins, na medida em que esses ritmos são apropriados. Para que tal fim fosse alcançado, propôs-se especificamente: compreender a importância da relação entre cultura e comunicação e cultura subalterna e cultura de massa; identificar qual a proposta do grupo Tambores do Tocantins e como os ritmos são trabalhados; compreender como se constitui as identidades do grupo; identificar os elementos singularizantes e de pertencimento dos participantes do projeto; verificar se os grupos mais tradicionais se reconhecem na representação do Tambores do Tocantins e perceber quais as diferenças entre eles. Os pressupostos eram que os participantes do grupo Tambores do Tocantins desenvolviam a partir de um estilo tradicional, mas incorporando elementos da cultura de massa, suas próprias formas e estilos de expressão cultural, e adquiriam uma postura positiva em relação aos ritmos e crítica quanto a música massiva, o que poderia resultar na construção de sua identidade. Após a conclusão das investigações propostas, constatou-se que não são exatamente esses fatores que constituem a identidade de grupo do Tambores do Tocantins, mas um vínculo maior, a inclusão social.

Research shows that non-european academics are discriminated in the labor market. The purpose of this study is to examine non- European academics narratives about their Job search process. By applying an intersectional approach, this study aims to demonstrate how the interplay of different aspects such as gender, class and etnicity shape the interviewees experience in swedish labour market. A postcolonial perspective is applied in order to contribute to deeper understanding of the discriminating structures that the interviewees deal with.The analysis shows that colonial conceptions are embedded in the validation system and institutions such as employment service. This mechanism affects the interviewees negatively in their Job search process. The result shows that they had their degrees degraded and advisers and employers had doubted their competence. This has placed the interviewees in a working-class experience with strenuous jobs resulting in poor health. The informants use strategies to challenge power but feel that they who are in power positions do not listen to them.

This survey is a theoretical analysis concerning didactics of literature, in which I problematize what Martha C. Nussbaum describes as ”narrative imagination”. By using postcolonial theory, more specific: Gayatri Spivaks essay ”Can the Subaltern Speak?” and her theoretical formula ”a leap into the other’s sea”, I try to answer the following question: Can ”narrative imagination” be understood as a manifistation or concretisation of ”a leap into the other’s sea”? The answer that is given concerning my general question is simply: No. Nussbaums’ reader is far to active, whereas Spivak strongly argues that hearing and/or listening to the subaltern requires a state of self-suspendedness. Nussbaum also shows a great belief in literature as a representation of something truly real, but also as a representation of the Other. Drawing on Spivaks critique of Deleuze and Foucault, I have suggested that representation of this kind should, from a poststructuralistic and Marxist point of view, be seen as a theoretical misstake, for: representation postulates objectiveness or/and transparentness. Finally Nussbaums goals, in terms of cultivating the humanity, has been problematized. Her cosmopolitan and democratic approach is based upon – a form of – universalism and an ambition towards consensus, which – again: from a poststructuralistic perspective – is highly debatable. With this background I have concluded two implications concerning didactics of literature: Firstly, there are plenty of voices not represented by literature, a fact that needs to be considered. Thus, to base a world citizenship, a democracy or an understanding of the Other on works of literature is to restrict ”the world” or ”the Other” to the fictional, literary characters that has been written. Secondly Spivak urges us to reflect on the reader as an interpreter. A total suspension of the self is a naive statement – but she is right to point to the occidental subject as a member and reproducer of postcolonial discourse.

Construído há mais de quinze anos, esse espaço é parte constitutiva desta capital, ao mesmo tempo em que a integra aos fluxos globais de circulação de mercadorias, mais especificamente aos objetos Made in China. Por meio da proposta etnográfica “de perto e de dentro” seguimos, do fim para o começo, o percurso feito por essas “quinquilharias”, representadas no texto pelo gatinho da sorte ou Maneki Neko. Assim sendo, partimos do camelódromo (e de toda a sua constituição histórica e física) rumo à Ciudad Del Este, centro econômico do Paraguai, amplamente conhecido pelo comércio desse tipo de mercadoria e destino de compras dos camelôs do Shopping Popular de Cuiabá. Lá averiguamos de perto os fluxos e trânsitos desses objetos, descrevendo detalhadamente as práticas observadas que subsidiaram as reflexões acerca do termo “globalização subalterna”. Por fim, apresentamos os fatores que contribuíram, historicamente, para a consolidação da China como potência mundial produtora desses produtos e realizamos uma “biografia” do Maneki Neko, com o intuito de discutir de que forma esses objetos contribuem para a compreensão dos meios pelos quais agem os que estão fora dos fluxos hegemônicos do mundo contemporâneo. / The present investigation parts of the building popularly called "camelódromo" or Popular Shopping in Cuiabá. Built more than fifteen years ago, this space is a constitutive part of the city while integrates the global flows of movement of goods, more specifically the objects Made in China. Through the proposed ethnographic "near and inside" we made, the ending to beginning, the route taken by these "junk", represented in the text by luck cat or Maneki Neko. Therefore, we assume camelódromo (and all its history and physical constitution) towards Ciudad Del Este, the Paraguayan city widely known by the trade of this type of merchandise and shopping destination of the hawkers in the Popular Shopping in Cuiabá. There we analised closely the flows and transits of these objects, describing in detail the practices that supported the observed reflections on the term "subaltern globalization." Finally, we present the factors that contributed historically to the consolidation of China as a sign of power producing these objects and perform a "biography" of Maneki Neko, with the purpose of discuss where these objects contribute to the understanding of the means by which the act that are outside the hegemonic flows in the contemporary world.
