[pt] O presente trabalho defende a tese de que, nas distintas Moradas da Obra do Castelo Interior de Teresa, é possível visualizar e nominar fases do desenvolvimento humano e espiritual (diferentes graus de amor), nas quais a pessoa se encontra. Mostra a mística teresiana como alternativa para se compreender o amor de Deus e a espontânea resposta a essa gratuidade divina, experenciada e vivida, pela pessoa, na fé e na sua intensidade. As fases de desenvolvimento humano e espiritual assinalam o desabrochar da maturidade no amor que se plenifica na transcendência de si, na entrega dedicada ao serviço dos irmãos e irmãs e à sociedade em geral, gerando conversão e transformação da mesma, anúncio e continuidade dos valores propostos por Jesus Cristo. / [en] The present work defends the thesis that the different moradas of the book of the Interior Castle of Teresa of Ávila, can visualize different phases of development human and spiritual (or different degrees of love), in which a person finds himself. And at the same time, these phases can be nominated. The thesis proposes a Teresian mystic as an alternative for understanding the love of God by the person and the consequent response to this love, experienced and lived in its intensity. The development of the phases marks the way to maturity in love that deepens the transcendence of self in service to our brothers and sisters, to society in general, generating conversion and transformation of it, the announcement and the continuity of the values proposed by Jesus Christ.

A dissertação apresenta o projeto de arquitetura, desenvolvido entre 2006 e 2008 pelo arquiteto Paulo Mendes da Rocha, para transformação do edifício do antigo Educandário Santa Teresa, no Rio de Janeiro, em museu para a instituição suíça Daroslatinamerica. O trabalho também reúne 12 projetos do arquiteto para intervenções em edifícios de interesse histórico e cultural e apresenta, por meio da leitura destas propostas, distintas estratégias de intervenção. O projeto Casadaros aparece, portanto, discutido dentro do panorama dessas intervenções de Paulo Mendes da Rocha anteriormente publicados na mídia especializada. A partir da compreensão de que não é possível estabelecer um método próprio para intervenções desta natureza - uma vez que as questões são específicas de cada conjunto construído - o trabalho promove uma sistematização e interpretação crítica dos princípios teóricos e da prática da intervenção em arquitetura a fim de apresentar caminhos para o desafio do desenho de intervenções espaciais responsáveis em relação ao patrimônio construído. / This dissertation presents the architectural project, developed from 2006 to 2008 by Paulo Mendes da Rocha, for the transformation of the old school building Educandário Santa Teresa, located in Rio de Janeiro, into a museum for the Daroslatinamerica Swiss institution. This paper also highlights 12 projects of the same architect for cultural and historical heritage buildings, stressing different strategies of intervention, based on the author\'s take. The Casadaros project is then shown and analyzed under the context of these interventions by Paulo Mendes da Rocha, previously published by the specialized media. Departing from the understanding that it is not possible to establish a unique method for interventions of this nature - since there are specific issues related to each building complex - the paper fosters a critical systematization and interpretation of theoretical principles and the practice of architectural intervention in order to present alternatives for the challenge of designing responsible spatial interventions on built heritage.

Universidade Castelo Branco / A presente dissertação objetiva a comparação proposta no Prelúdio do romance Middlemarch por sua autora George Eliot entre a protagonista da obra, Dorothea Brooke, e a figura histórica Teresa dÁvila. A partir de tal estudo, busca-se compreender de que modo a situação específica da mulher na Era Vitoriana é articulada no romance de modo a espelhar a crise ontológica e epistemológica do próprio ser humano diante das transformações consolidadas com o Iluminismo e as revoluções liberais do século XVIII que culminariam na morte de Deus. Dorothea mostra-se uma cristã tão fervorosa quanto a Teresa quinhentista, mas faltam-lhe certezas e a resolução para concretizar as reformas sociais que defende, pois ela encarna o mito de feminilidade oitocentista batizado de Anjo do Lar ideal de sujeição feminina à ordem falocêntrica cujas funções são a proteção e difusão da moralidade burguesa e a substituição de elementos cristãos no universo do sagrado a uma sociedade cada vez mais materialista e insegura de valores absolutos. As aflições de Dorothea representam as aflições da mulher vitoriana, mas o momento crítico desta mulher reflete, em Middlemarch, uma crise muito maior do Ocidente, que teve início com a Era da Razão / The present dissertations purpose is the comparison proposed by George Eliot in the Prelude of the novel Middlemarch between its protagonist, Dorothea Brooke, and the historical character Teresa of Avila. Such study endeavors to understand in which way the specific situation of the Victorian woman is articulated within the novel as to mirror the ontological and epistemological crisis of the human being itself during the transformations consolidated by the Enlightenment and the liberal revolutions of the eighteenth century which culminated in the death of God. Dorothea is as ardent a Christian as the fifteenth century Teresa, but she lacks the certainties and the resolution to concretize the social reforms she defends, because she incarnates the nineteenth century myth of womanhood known as the Angel in the House an ideal of feminine subjection to the phalocentric order whose functions are the protection and diffusion of the bourgeois morality and the replacement of Christian elements within the imaginary universe of the sacred to a society progressively more materialistic and insecure of absolute values. The afflictions of Dorothea represent the afflictions of the Victorian woman, but the critical moment of this woman reflects, in Middlemarch, a much greater crisis in the Western thought, which began with the Age of Reason

[pt] Essa tese investiga a relação entre o espectador e a cena a partir de algumas experiências de dança contemporânea. Procura-se entender como os artistas trabalhados criam, cenicamente, novos modos de fazer circular afetos e sentidos convidando o espectador a se despir das posições a que tradicionalmente está atrelado, seja como alienado, seja como hermeneuta. A trajetória da coreógrafa e cineasta Yvonne Rainer é o ponto de partida para a reflexão sobre a complexa relação entre a cena e o espectador, na qual as dimensões política, afetiva e imaginária da experiência artítica se tensionam. Rainer pesquisa, desde os anos 60, formas do corpo em cena resistir à captura do olhar do espectador, através da valorização de sua materialidade. A tese procura pensar, portanto, a partir da trilha aberta pela coreógrafa, como essa noção de materialidade não se entende como uma forma que possa ser significada, mas como uma força que desestabiliza a ordem das representações e impele a novos modos de produzir e refletir acerca do sentido do mundo. A partir dos trabalhos de Rainer, Jérôme Bel e Ann Teresa de Keersmaeker, Lia Rodrigues e Israel Galván, em diálogo com o pensamento contemporâneo a respeito da relação entre arte, corpo e política, a tese se propõe a pensar, por fim, como a exposição cênica da vulnerabilidade pode ser concebida como uma estratégia de criação potente. / [en] The present thesis investigates the connections between the spectator and the scene through some experiences of contemporary dance, trying to understand how the artists here studied create, scenically, new modes of circulation of affects and senses. Thus, the spectator is invited to abandon its traditional positions in which he appears either as an alienated participant either as hermeneutist interpreting the codes of the scene. The trajectory of the choreograph and film maker Yvonne Rainer is the starting point to question the complex relationship between the scene and the spectator in wich the political, affective and imaginary aspects of the artistic experience are in permanent tension. Rainer searches since de 60 s ways to make the body resist to the capture of the spectator s gaze, by valuing it s intrinsic materiality. Trough the path opened by Rainer, the thesis wishes to understand materiality not as a form that can be signified but as a force that destabilizes the logic of representation and impele in the direction of new forms of producing and thinking about the sense of the world. Through the works of the performers Yvonne Rainer, Jérôme Bel, Ann Teresa de Keersmaeker, Lia Rodrigues and Israel Galván in dialogue with contemporary thinking about the connections between arts, politics and body the thesis intends, finally, to think of how the scenic exposure of vulnerability can be conceived as a powerful strategy of artistic creation.

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / Esta tese discute a questão de gênero, tema importante para nossa época. Objetiva fazer uma análise na perspectiva fenomenológica e teológica da questão de gênero por meio das contribuições de Edith Stein (1891-1942), filósofa e discípula de Edmund Husserl (1859-1938). Examina, portanto, as relações entre masculino e feminino, destacando de modo particular a questão da mulher. Neste estudo, enfatiza-se, também, a presença de Edith Stein no panorama da literatura feminina da época, sua participação nos movimentos feministas e pedagógicos, sua relevância na escola fenomenológica pela capacidade de transitar nas diversas áreas do saber e pela sua original aplicabilidade do método fenomenológico no estudo da pessoa humana em suas variadas dimensões: corpo, alma, espírito, valores, relação com os outros e com Deus. Edith Stein se concentra em torno do sujeito da empatia e de suas vivências. Das análises das relações intersubjetivas, colhe elementos para a elaboração de uma antropologia filosófica, que no encontro com a tradição aristotélico-tomista integra com a antropologia cristã. Ao longo do trabalho, busca-se, ao mesmo tempo, examinar a relação do ser humano com a dimensão religiosa, com particular referência à teologia cristã católica. Discutem-se os significados ontológicos da natureza e essência da mulher, sugeridos pela pensadora numa prospectiva de complementaridade. A pesquisa trata da questão feminina contemporânea e faz confronto entre os escritos de Edith Stein e a condição da mulher em seu tempo. Paralelamente aborda os movimentos feministas no Brasil para demonstrar a situação da mulher nos diversos contextos histórico-sociais. Do ponto de vista teológico, a relação homem e mulher é estudada à luz da Revelação judaico-cristã, homem e mulher criados à imagem de Deus e da Trindade. A mulher ganha sua nobreza pelo fato de o Redentor nascer de uma mãe humana e, Maria é apresentada como protótipo da feminilidade: é a Mater- Virgo e a Sponsa-Christi. Nesse sentido, faz-se referência à tradição cristã, em particular à Carta Apostólica Mulieris Dignitatem de João Paulo II. Mostra-se a estreita relação entre as reflexões filosóficas e antropológicas dos pensadores sobre a teologia da feminilidade na Igreja Católica e a proposta de um novo feminismo da Igreja. Reflete-se sobre o protagonismo da mulher, a partir do valor fundamental do ser humano masculino e feminino. Alude-se à experiência religiosa cristã como abertura e encontro com a Verdade Revelada, itinerário individual e coletivo. Acena-se, por fim, à fenomenologia da espiritualidade e a teologia mística aprofundas por Edith Stein, inspirada nas obras de Santa Teresa DÁvila e São João da Cruz.
