known as psychedelic trance global movement which has been gaining more and more
incomers in the whole country through ritualistic festivities focused on an electronic music
style psychedelic trance which stimulates dancing and the altered states of consciousness.
This theorical discussion implicates in penetrating the gaps within empirical
scientific knowledge and expresses itself through complex articulation, the manifestations of
psychedelic trance festivals, which create and recreate an altered universe that involves art
and psychedelic esthetics, within nature, as the backdrop for ecstatic collective experiences.
The research had guidelines such as: Is there an order in such a virtually caotic
atmosphere being constructed? What does this movement reflect upon current time? Which
are the symbols and myths involved in this movement? Which are the beliefs and the values
that guide psychedelic imagery? What needs are implicit in this new festive manifestation?
What does this complex ritual express in the planetary era?
The camp research was performed in a series of psychedelic trance festivals that took
place in Brazil, between year 2003 and 2006. I took part as an observer in eight festivals, in
which I gathered interviews and collected material. The research also encompassed the
electronic net Internet the main means of communication used by the participants of
such festivities / Esta dissertação apresenta a tentativa de compreender um fenômeno social
conhecido como movimento global do transe psicodélico, que vem ganhando cada vez mais
adeptos em todo o país por meio de festividades ritualísticas centradas em um estilo musical
eletrônico psychedelic trance que estimula a dança e os estados alterados de consciência.
A discussão teórica implica penetrar nas brechas do cânone científico e expressar,
por meio da articulação complexa, a manifestação dos festivais de transe psicodélico, os
quais criam e recriam um universo lúdico que envolve arte e estética psicodélica em meio à
natureza, como cenários para experiências extáticas coletivas.
A pesquisa teve como guia algumas questões, tais como: Será que nesse ambiente de
desordem existe uma nova ordem sendo construída? O que esse movimento reflete nos
tempos atuais? Quais são os símbolos e mitos relacionados ao movimento? Quais são as
crenças e os valores que norteiam o imaginário do grupo? Que necessidades estão implícitas
nessa nova manifestação festiva? O que expressa esse complexo ritual na era planetária?
Foram pesquisados os festivais de transe psicodélico que aconteceram no Brasil entre
2003 e 2006. Participei, como observadora, de oito festivais, nos quais realizei entrevistas e
colhi material. A pesquisa também abrangeu a rede eletrônica Internet , principal meio de
comunicação utilizado pelos participantes desses festivais

Les Grecs face aux catastrophes naturelles : gestion et représentations des risques (Ve siècle A.C. - IIe siècle P.C.) / Natural Hazards in Greece : Perception and Management of Risks, from the Classical Time to the Roman EmpireThély, Ludovic 27 October 2012 (has links)
Cette étude porte sur la perception antique des catastrophes naturelles, les moyens de gestion et les représentations religieuses. Elle se fonde essentiellement sur l'interprétation des documents littéraires et épigraphiques, mais, dans une logique interdisciplinaire, elle n'exclue pas d'intégrer la documentation archéologique et les résultats obtenus, dans certains cas, par la géomorphologie. L'emploi des expressions « catastrophes naturelles » et « risques naturels » repose sur une définition récente portée par les géographes contemporains : un risque est le produit d'un aléa naturel – la probabilité d'occurence d'un phénomène physique – et de la vulnérabilité d'une société – les facteurs aggravants et la capacité de résilience d'une communauté civique. L'application de ce concept au monde des cités grecques, depuis l'époque classique jusqu'au Haut Empire romain, invite à tenir compte des évolutions notables qui ont marqué les processus de gestion des risques et les discours, scientifiques ou religieux, portant sur les bouleversements majeurs survenus à la surface du globe. L'enquête s'articule ainsi autour de deux axes principaux : le premier établit les impacts catastrophiques, autrement dit les types de conséquences qu'un aléa naturel a pu produire sur une société antique, inhumation des victimes, soins apportés aux survivants, destructions des édifices urbains, modifications et altérations des paysages ainsi que les difficultés et les crises économiques consécutives aux événements dévastateurs ; dans un second temps, cette étude entreprend d'analyser les observations et les théories antiques portant sur les catastrophes naturelles, autant que les discours et les actes religieux. En parallèle, l'enjeu de cette enquête est de répondre à une question essentielle : les Grecs ont-ils subi les catastrophes ou ont-ils cherché à se prémunir efficacement contre la fréquence de certains risques naturels ? / This thesis deals with the perception, management and religious thoughts of natural hazards in Antiquity. It is based essentially on epigraphics and literary sources, but includes archaeological and geomorphological documentation. Natural hazards and risks are two recent notions, coming from geographic studies. To apply these concepts to the Greek world, from the Classical Period to the Roman Empire, contributes to our knowledges of these societies, pointing out the chronological evolutions of the scientific discourses and the religious thoughts. This study is organized in two main parts ; the first dealing with the consequences of natural hazards (burial of victims, destruction of buildings, modifications of landscapes and economic crisis) and the second, the analysis of theories about natural hazards as well as the religious representations and practices. Last but not least, one of the most important questions that this thesis tries to answer is "Did Greek society manage the risks or did it fall victim to doomsday ?"

Teknik med en lärares ögon : En undersökning kring hur lärarna betraktar teknik och ämnets undervisning i årskurs 4-6Roynezon, Jannica January 2017 (has links)
Sammanfattning Syftet kring undersökningen är att undersöka lärarnas syn och tankar på teknik samt få en uppfattning om hur lärarna undervisar i skolämnet teknik för årskurserna 4-6. Detta görs genom att intervjua lärare som undervisar i ämnet teknik. Intervjuerna görs utefter frågeställningarna: 1. Hur är lärarnas syn och tankar om teknik? 2.Vilka tankar kring undervisningen i teknikämnet har lärare? 3. Vad är lärarnas reflexioner på att teknikämnet får en egen timplan? Intervjuerna visar att de flesta lärarna som deltagit i undersökningen tycker att det bör finnas en gemensam definition för teknik. Undersökningen visar även att de flesta lärarna tycker att det är bäst att undervisa med teori och praktik varvat men att det är brist på resurser för ämnet teknik som gör det omöjligt att genomföra undervisningen med variationsteorin. / Abstract The purpose of the study is to investigate the teachers' views and thoughts on technology as well as an understanding of how teachers teach the school subject technology for grades 4-6. This is done by interviewing teachers who teach in the subject of technology. The interviews address the questions: 1. What are the teachers' views and thoughts about technology? 2. What thoughts about teaching in the subject of technology have teachers? 3. What are the teachers’ reflections on the technical subject getting your own timetable? The interviews show that most teachers who participated in the survey find that there should be a common definition of technology. The study also shows that most teachers think it is best to teach theory and practice but that there is a lack of resources for the subject of technology that makes it impossible to complete the theory of variation theory.

Sammanfattning Syftet med den här undersökningen är att ta reda på hur barns tankar kring ekologiska processer kan utvecklas, samt att ta reda på vad i undervisningen som anses vara avgörande för att förmå barn att utveckla sina ekologiska reflektioner. Kvalitativa intervjuer och ett undervisningstillfälle ligger till grund för undersökningen. Därefter sammanställdes och kategoriserades barnens ekologiska processtankar. Resultatet av undersökningen visar att förutsättningen för utvecklande undervisning, är pedagogens kännedom om barnets individuella erfarenheter. Det är utifrån dessa som barnet tar emot ny kunskap och sedan kopplar ihop den med tidigare upplevelser. Ett kort undervisningstillfälle resulterade i att sju av åtta barn kompletterade sina kunskaper och deras tankar om processen utvecklades i flera steg. Min slutsats utifrån denna granskning är att ålder och mognad inte är avgörande för ett barns förmåga att utveckla kunskap. Då barnets erfarenheter förvaltas och betraktas som tillgångar, kan tankarna utmanas och en utveckling ske. / Abstract The intention of this investigation is to find out how to develop children’s way of thinking about ecological processes and to pinpoint decisive steps to develop an ecological mind. The concluded material is based on qualitative interviews and one lesson with a class. The material is assembled and categorized based on the children’s ecological process logic. The result of this investigation shows that the prerequisite for developing tuition is the teacher’s knowledge of the children’s individual experience. Based on these the child will be able to take in new knowledge and relate it to earlier experiences. A short lesson based on the above showed that seven out of eight children increased their knowledge with improved ecological thoughts in several steps as a result. My conclusion from this investigation is that age and maturity alone is not of crucial importance to children’s ability to develope their knowledge. With the use of the child’s experiences as assets the mind can be challenged and development can take place.

Uppfattningar, tankar och känslor : - organisationsidentitet på MigrationsverketFjellman, Caroline, Neste, Nina January 2006 (has links)
Migrationsverket is Sweden’s central government authority for alien affairs. It is responsible for permits for people visiting and settling in Sweden, and for the asylum process. Migrationsverket consists of five divisions, Visas, Work Permits and Residence Permits is one of these divisions. The employees in this division mainly work with interviewing the applicants and the referees, and with lengthening residence permits. This study is about organizational identity, which can be described as the beliefs, thoughts and emotions the employees have about their organization. The employee’s perspective serve as a starting point in our discussion, and this is because of the purpose of our study. The purpose is to illustrate and interpret the organizational identity at Migrationsverket. In our study we use a qualitative method, and perform ten unstructured interviews. We use the abductive approach, which is characterized by a mutual influence of theory and empirical investigation. We see reality as a social construction, and the hermeneutic approach has influenced our work with this study. A sense of belonging and mutual feelings is a part of organizational identity, and this is why we illustrate both the individual and the group. We also describe the importance of social constructions as a part of organizational identity. The central part of this study is the beliefs, thoughts and emotions the employees have about their organization. The employees at Migrationsverket see the interaction with people as a central part of their work, and they point out the delightful solidarity within the division. The big problem, however, is the enormous work load, which prolongs the processing time for applications. For the employees this means that they feel frustration in their work. We see humanity, responsibility, belonging, and frustration as the four differential characteristics at the division. Humanity is foremost seen as a part of the interaction with the applicants but also in the relations between the employees. Responsibility is, as we see it, an element in humanity. This because of the humanity the employees feel towards the applicants. The sense of belonging is expressed through the identification the employees have with each other and with the organization. The frustration has its foundation in the work load that exists in the division. / Migrationsverket är den centrala utlänningsmyndigheten i Sverige. De ansvarar bland annat för visum för besök, tillstånd när en person vill bosätta sig i Sverige och handläggande av asylärenden. Migrationsverket är uppdelat i fem verksamhetsområden och Besök och bosättning är en av dessa. Medarbetarna inom detta verksamhetsområde arbetar främst med seriositetsintervjuer och förlängningar av uppehållstillstånd. Uppsatsen handlar om organisationsidentitet, som kan beskrivas som medarbetarnas uppfattningar, tankar och känslor om den organisation de är medlemmar i. Vi utgår från medarbetarnas perspektiv, och detta har sin grund i vårt syfte som handlar om att belysa och tolka organisationsidentiteten på Migrationsverket. Vi använder en kvalitativ metod och genomför tio ostrukturerade djupintervjuer. Vi har den abduktiva ansatsen som utgångspunkt, och den kännetecknas av att teori och empiri ömsesidigt påverkar varandra i tolkningsprocessen. Vi ser verkligheten som en social konstruktion och hermeneutiken har influerat oss i vårt arbete. Tillhörighet och gemensamma känslor är en del av organisationsidentiteten, så vi belyser både individen och gruppen, samt den betydelse sociala konstruktioner har på organisationsidentiteten. Det centrala i uppsatsen är medarbetarnas uppfattningar, tankar och känslor om organisationen. Medarbetarna på Migrationsverket ser mötet med människor som en central del i arbetet och de framhåller den härliga sammanhållningen på enheten. Det som ses som det stora problemet är arbetsbelastningen, vilket leder till att handläggningstiderna ökar och för medarbetarna innebär detta att de känner frustration i sitt arbete. Vi tolkar humanitet, responsibilitet, tillhörighet och frustration som de utmärkande karakteristika på tillståndsenheten. Humaniteten visar sig främst mot de sökande men även mellan medarbetarna på tillståndsenheten. Responsibiliteten är en del av humaniteten då den kommer ur den medmänsklighet medarbetarna känner mot de sökande. Tillhörigheten finns bland annat i medarbetarnas identifiering med varandra och organisationen. Frustrationen kommer från den höga arbetsbelastning som råder på tillståndsenheten.

本文主要的目的是藉由The Geometer's Sketchpad (GSP)軟體的設計,幫助我們得到一組連續型模糊樣本。另外對於模糊數的無母數檢定我們提供了一個較為一般的方法,可以針對梯型、三角型,區間型的模糊樣本同時進行處理。
藉由利用GSP. 軟體所設計的模糊問卷,可以較清楚地紀錄受訪者的感覺,此外我們所提供之對於模糊數的無母數檢定方法比其他方法較為有效力。
在未來的研究裡,我們仍有一些問題需要解決,呈述如下:當所施測的樣本數很大時,如何有效率的在網路上紀錄受測者所建構的隸屬度函數? / The purpose of this paper is to develop a methodology for getting a continuous fuzzy data by using the software The Geometer's Sketchpad (GSP). And we propose a general method for nonparametric tests with fuzzy data that can deal with trapezoid, triangular, and interval-valued data simultaneously.
Using the fuzzy questionnaire designed by GSP. can help respondents to record their thoughts more precisely. Additionally our method for nonparametric tests with fuzzy data is more powerful than others.
Additional research issues for further investigation are expressed by question such as follows: how to record the membership function on line, especially when the sample size is large?

Syftet med denna undersökning är att undersöka vad pedagoger har för tankar om hur och vart de arbetar med fysik i förskolan. Undersökningen handlar både om vad pedagoger har för syn på fysik och hur de upplever att det är att arbeta med det i förskolan. Undersökningen genomfördes med hjälp av kvalitativa semistrukturerade intervjuer och denna metod användes för att ge utrymme till att ställa följdfrågor under intervjuerna. Åtta pedagoger deltog i undersökningen. I resultatet framkommer bland annat att fysik är ett ämne som flera av pedagogerna upplever som svårt. Majoriteten av pedagogerna arbetar helst med lärarstyrda experiment och detta sker mestadels inomhus. Anledning till att de vill styra upp arbetet med fysik är att de då har möjlighet att i förväg förbereda experimenten. Sju av åtta pedagoger anser sig behöva vidareutbildning för att bli mer medvetna om vad fysik är och hur de kan jobba med det. / The aim of this study is to investigate pedagogues thoughts of how and where they work with physics in pre-school. The study is about pedagogues’ views of physics and also about their experiences working with it in pre-school. The study was conducted using qualitative semi structured interviews and this method was used to provide room to ask follow-up questions during the interviews. Eight pedagogues participated in the study. The result shows that physics, among other things, is a subject that several pedagogues find difficult. The majority of the pedagogues prefer to work with teacher-controlled experiments and most of the time this takes place indoors. The reason why they want to control the work with physics is because they then have time to prepare the experiments in advance. Seven of eight pedagogues believe they need further education to become more aware of what physics is and how they can work with it.

Some learners in South Africa perform poorly in school, especially in Mathematics. In 2010 the Department of Basic Education announced their concern regarding the pass rate. The National Education Department circulated a report in 2008 on some Grade 3 and Grade 6 learners who took part in a research project and only achieved level one and two in literacy (vocabulary), as well as numeracy (Mathematics).
Several factors contribute to this shocking situation, such as the absence of the use of meta-cognitive strategies, number strategies, as well as language strategies.
The prime goal of this study was to investigate the use of meta-cognitive strategies and Mathematical vocabulary during problem solving by Grade 7 learners.
Three primary schools were invited to participate in the qualitative investigation. From these schools three top achievers (one per school) and three under-achievers (one per school) were invited to participate in the quantitative investigation.
The study includes the results of the quantitative aspects of the investigation. Learners had to answer questions about predictions, achievements, control, as well as evaluation during the quantitative investigation. During this process, most of the learners predicted that they would do well and evaluated that they did well, but their marks for the questions about their achievements and control were in fact different.
It is important to inform Mathematics teachers and learners about meta-cognitive strategies and Mathematical vocabulary, and the influence it can have on the learners’ achievements, as well as the positive effect during the learning of Mathematics. / MEd (Mathematics Education), North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus, 2014
