Hinojosa Santillán, Iván Gonzalo, Guzmán Pacheco, Piero Fernando January 2015 (has links)
The School of Engineering at the University Ricardo Palma offers in its curriculum the Course Project Workshop, unique in its form of organization and vertical work. In which software projects, carried out by students from different cycles and academic experience, all of which play roles as a project requires documenter, programmer, analyst, designer, database manager and project manager, to develop throughout the 5th and 9th cycle race. The course begins with the presentation of a project proposal, by the student will play the role of Project Manager, which must define a real problem for any company or its respective field and proposal software solution. Then the School by an Evaluation Committee approves the proposal and begins to form work teams with other students. Forming teams finished the project is developed in the next four months, with deliverables through and a final grade the product and the performance of each team member. Contradictorily from the beginning to the end of the workshop is organized without the use of a software tool, causing the excessive work involved and conduct normal course start is delayed. That is why the purpose of this thesis is to improve processes through a web shop solution that enables automation of its most important and critical processes, reducing delays and cumbersome work in each semester.

Fernandes, Raquel Brondisia Panizzi January 2011 (has links)
This dissertation presents the course of a workshop carried out in the Lomba do Pinheiro neighbourhood, in the city of Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil. Personnel and users of the Vila Viçosa Family‘s Health Programme participated in the workshop, which is part of the research project ‗Oficinando em rede‘ (Workshop on line). The main objective of such project is to expand technological workshops to other areas of the city. In addition, the workshop concept consists of ideas and actions originated during research and extension projects. As a result, a series of technological workshops were accomplished with the participation of young adults and workers at the Integrated Psychosocial Attention Centre (CIAPS) — where the interest of the present study originated. During my first visits to CIAPS, I was impressed with the considerable number of subjects willing to leave a mark in the workshops and in the hallways of the institution. The main objective of this research project is, therefore, to (i) analyse how inscription production can make conversation networks explicit and (ii) modulate the act of talking, setting new distinctions and emotions. This study is a qualitative intervention research which originated from the accomplishment of paths using TICs (information and communication technologies) by scope areas of PSF. Presenting the path as an indispensable method in consolidating work, this project has enabled a performative operation when meeting the inscriptions of that talking, which, during moments of collective problematisation, were reconfigured in the forms of photography and video. Aimed at a conversation between the participants and other networks, the Path Workshop resulted in shared actions which, at moments of breakdowns, opened new pathways into inventive cognition.

Recordação e transicionalidade: a oficina de cartas, fotografias e lembranças como intervenção psicoterapêutica grupal com idosos / Remembrance and Transitionality: the workshop of letters, photographs and memories as psychotherapeutic intervention of group with elderly

Claudia Aranha Gil 25 October 2010 (has links)
The aim of the present study is to show the Workshop of Letters, Photographs and Memories as a proposal of psychotherapeutic method focused on elderly at a group framework and verify its scope and benefits regarding this group. The research was carried out with the clinical method based on the psychoanalytical theory and specially the reading of Winnicott concepts. This therapeutic proposal described in the work was developed from topics of remembrance and transitionality, having its effects evaluated before and after the intervention. The group consisted of six elderly of both sexes, at ages ranging from 65 to 79 years old, being one man and five women, who attended a Group for The Elderly. Aiming the diagnostic comprehension, two initial interviews were performed and the instruments WHOQOL-BREF (Inventory of Quality of Life brief mode), the BDI- Beck Inventory of Depression and the Thematic Apperception Test for Elderly- SAT were used. The study describes the psychotherapeutic process, conducted in group, briefly in 16 sessions, as well as the movement among the fields that became evident and the changes that occurred in the participants lives. From the analysis of the psychotherapeutic process, the Workshop proposal carried out with this group proved to be efficient. There was a significant improvement of the depressive symptoms and, overall, of the quality of life of those who concluded their participation in the group. At the end of the study, it was possible to observe that the framework used in the therapeutic proposal contributed to a greater integration and a chance of healthy remembrance reflecting experiences that point to the emotional growth of the participants of the group

The aim of this study is to describe and analyze how the therapeutic theatre workshop, guided by the Theatre of the Oppressed's theory, influences on users' contractual power and autonomy from a CAPS I. We have carried out, initially, a literature review, which contextualizes the theoretical and practical bases of the Brazilian psychiatric reform, where we present the first experiments with art and the current form as this work more specifically the theatre, has been used in several Mental Health devices in the country. Then, we have outlined the Theatre of the Oppressed's methodology, Augusto Boal and his contributions to the Mental health field, to later perform a dialogue between this theory and the Pedagogy of the oppressed by Paulo Freire. Then, we present the work of drama therapy workshop, held in CAPS I of Puerto Real, in the State of Rio de Janeiro. We carry out filming in this workshop for seven meetings and a focus group. From there we conducted a thematic analysis of the ideas that we have seen of this material. This analysis revealed that the experience with the theatre workshop has helped in the treatment, providing reflections and actions that could be related to an increase of autonomy and power.

Andersson, Madelene January 2002 (has links)
ABSTRACT System development has become more and more concentrated on development for the Web and this has resulted in larger target groups. It will most surely continue to be so considering that the Web will be the infrastructure of business and services in the future. A big target group involves that the owner of a system can earn a lot of money from the paying users, but that assumes that the system can meet user needs. If a system on the Web does not satisfy the user?s demands then they will use the competitor?s system instead because it is only a mouse-click away. That is why the business, already during the development process, has to take the role of the users seriously. Even if all users cannot take part in the process at least some users can and it would be a shame not to take advantages of this kind of expert knowledge. This report describes how a system development project can be practised and how a developer can do to satisfy each user?s requirements even though he or she are not specified, and also why a useful system is classified as an investment in the future.

The Development and Delivery of a Mental Health Literacy and Counselling Skills Workshop for Educators: A Pilot Study

Neufeld, Jennifer January 2018 (has links)
School settings are increasingly being targeted as ideal entry points for youth mental health initiatives and naturally, educators have been identified as playing a critical role in supporting youth in distress. The current study set out to investigate how to strengthen the ability of educators to support youth experiencing bullying and mental health difficulties. The study was conducted in two phases: an initial phase in which a mental health literacy and communication skills workshop for educators was developed and refined, and a second phase in which the workshop was pilot-tested. The 2-hour workshop was delivered to two groups of students (N = 35) in a Teacher’s Education (B.Ed.) program at a Canadian university. Participants completed a questionnaire following the workshop to assess their satisfaction with the workshop experience and their degree of change in knowledge and awareness of bullying and mental health difficulties, as well as self-efficacy and perceived confidence in communicating with young people in distress. Results showed that participant satisfaction with the workshop was high and that most participants would recommend the workshop for pre-service and in-service teachers. In addition, participant knowledge, awareness, self-efficacy, and self-confidence in communicating with youth in distress increased from pre- to post-workshop. Taken together, the results of the pilot study provide support for further development and delivery of this workshop to pre-service and in-service teachers to help prepare educators for the complex, demanding, and vital role of supporting young people in distress due to bullying and mental health difficulties.

Inventaire et étude systématiques des sites et des sculptures bouddhiques du Gandhāra : ateliers, centres de production / Systematic inventory and study of Buddhist sites and sculptures from Gandhāra : workshops, production centres. Summary

Pons, Jessie 26 September 2011 (has links)
Buddhist statues and narrative relieves from Gandhāra share common characteristics thus justifying the designation of “Gandhāran art”. The homogeneity of Gandhāran art is certainly manifest in its material, its subject and its composite nature, yet it is possible to distinguish important iconographic and stylistic variations. This doctoral thesis aims to highlight these variations in order to provide the first identification and characterisation of the various stylistic languages of Gandhāran Buddhist art. The introductory reflections on the geographical, historical and religious contexts within which Gandhāran Buddhist art developed, are followed by prolegomena of the historiographical and theoretical frameworks of the research. These emphasise the need for an appropriate methodology and terminology and the necessity for a corpus of correctly documented pieces on which a stylistic study can be founded. The preliminary inventory of Gandhāran sculptures has identified approximately 5000 pieces of known provenance gathered in an electronic database. The last part focuses on the identification of Gandhāran schools, artistic zones, production centres and workshops and on their characterisation in terms of iconography and form. The review is geographically organised, thus revealing the existing correlation between the stylistic levels and Gandhāran geography and allowing the recognition of various interaction networks. The thesis concludes with an attempt to identify ancient routes, a reassessment of old stylistically based chronologies and a reflection on the geographical normalisation of Buddhist iconographies.

Les ateliers d'écriture : une expérience sociale diversifiée / The writing workshop : a diverse social experience

Abid, Nadia 06 January 2016 (has links)
This research comes out as the result of an inquiry (based mostly on quality rather than on quantity criteria) and which I carried out from 2012 to 2015 in two different creative writing work groups in Bordeaux. My work relies on 22 semi-open interviews: I strove to understand how and why each interviewee developed or didn't develop some commitment process to the creative writing work activity. In that perspective I took on a comparative look at the people who joined in the creative writing work group and those who didn't. They all had different backgrounds –either by their school career paths, or their professional occupations or their parents' socio-economic categories or their writing habits –. Thanks to a new topic approach, the analysis of the interview data has led me to lighten up about the importance and impact of the socio demographic variables and allowed to put the interviewees down to four configuration types: the “Bypassers”, the “Creatives”, the Conformists and the Dreamers. Those configurations explicitly shed a new light on the commitment process or non-commitment to a creative writing work group process. Key words : creative writing work group, relation to writing practice, commitment, writing
