A pesquisa estuda as mudanças ocorridas na alimentação, no consumo de alimentos e nos hábitos à mesa na cidade de São Paulo entre 1828 e 1910, período de radicais transformações urbanas. As exportações de açúcar, e principalmente, de café, trouxeram não apenas riqueza, mas também criaram as condições da adoção de novos costumes cosmopolitas que se refletiram no consumo de alimentos diferentes - o gelo, a cerveja, o pão de trigo - e também novas maneiras de consumi-los: nos cafés, nos restaurantes, nos hotéis. / The research examines changes in diet, sociability and consumption in the city of Sao Paulo between 1828 and 1910, a period of radical transformation of the city. Exports of sugar, and mainly from coffee, had brought not only wealth but also created conditions for the adoption of new cosmopolitan customs, which is reflected in the consumption of different foods - the ice, beer, wheat bread - and other ways to consume them: in cafes, in restaurants in hotels.

Este trabalho tem como objetivo compreender a dinâmica de relações sociais que atravessava a sustentação de uma equipe master feminina de voleibol e as negociações que faziam parte do envolvimento desse grupo em campeonatos que aconteciam dentre um espaço/tempo reconhecido como de lazer. Para isso, realizei, durante treze meses, uma pesquisa etnográfica no contexto de uma das equipes pertencentes à Liga Master Feminina de Voleibol da cidade de Porto Alegre/RS. Ao longo do trabalho de campo, passei a observar e participar de treinamentos, jogos, jantares, festas, viagens e outros encontros do grupo, cujo registro desse convívio foi descrito nos diários de campo. Após esse período, foram realizadas cinco entrevistas semi estruturadas direcionadas a pessoas que me ofereceram a possibilidade de aprofundar alguns pontos de discussão. A partir da análise do material empírico produzido neste estudo e do diálogo constante com o referencial teórico, elaborei três eixos de discussão, os quais foram organizados numa trajetória que inicia pela compreensão das particularidades da equipe: a rotina do grupo dentro e fora das quadras, a equipe e sua representação na Liga Master e a seriedade desse grupo de mulheres no que tange ao lazer. Na sequencia, passei a olhar para as relações do grupo com a Liga Master e, por fim, desenvolvi um diálogo com autores do campo do lazer que me ajudaram a pensar sobre o cotidiano dessas mulheres e suas relações com o esporte. Sobre o primeiro ponto, foi possível analisar a rotina do grupo dentro e fora das quadras e compreender que para pertencer à equipe era preciso mostrar um rendimento esportivo legítimo para aquele contexto e, não menos significativo que essa particularidade, era indispensável saber estar entre as mulheres fora do espaço das quadras para sustentar-se na sua coesa rede de sociabilidade. No segundo eixo, ficou evidenciado que a trajetória de formação dos campeonatos da Liga Master estava entrelaçada ao reconhecimento dessa equipe como um grupo que privilegiava os laços de sociabilidade em relação aos resultados das partidas, mas que procurava também se manter engajado nas competições e estabelecer disputas acirradas dentro dos jogos. Por fim, procurei mostrar como uma dimensão do cotidiano passava a ser negociada com as outras esferas da vida social e, particularmente, como a seriedade fazia sentido e tornava aquele espaço/tempo envolvente. Entre as possibilidades e escolhas que atravessam a formação dos espaços e tempos significados como de lazer, aquele grupo de mulheres optava por investir e dedicar-se a uma prática esportiva levada a sério, na qual as brincadeiras coexistiam com as exigências do rendimento esportivo ligado ao voleibol. / This study aims to understand the dynamics of social relations that permeated the sustenance of a master female volleyball team and the negotiations that were part of that group involvement in championships that took place among a space/time recognized as recreational. For this purpose, I performed an ethnographic research during thirteen months in the context of one of the teams belonging to the Master Female League of Volleyball from the city of Porto Alegre/RS. Throughout the fieldwork, I started to observe and participate in training, games, dinners, parties, trips and other group meetings, whose record of interaction was described in the field diaries. After this period, five semi-structured interviews were performed, aimed at people who offered me the possibility to delve into some discussion points. From the analysis of the empirical material produced in this study and the ongoing dialogue with the theoretical framework, I elaborated three axes of discussion, which were organized in a way that begins by understanding the particularities of the team: the team’s routines on and off the court, the team and its representation in the Master League and the seriousness of this group of women when it comes to leisure. Hence, I looked at the relationships of the group with the Master League and, finally, I developed a dialogue with the authors of the leisure area that helped me on reflecting about the everyday lives of these women and their relationships with the sport. Regarding the first axis of discussion, it was possible to analyze the group routine on and off the courts and understand that, to belong to the team, it was necessary to show a legitimate sport performance for that context and, not less significant than this peculiarity, it was also essential to know how to be among women off the court and how to be sustained in their cohesive network of sociability. In the second axis, it became evident that the trajectory of the formation of the Master League championships was linked to the recognition of this team as a group that favored the bonds of sociability rather than the matches’ outcomes, but this team also sought to remain engaged in competitions and settle heated disputes when in the games. Ultimately, I tried to demonstrate how a daily dimension came to be negotiated with other spheres of social life and, particularly, how seriousness made sense and turned that space/time absorbing. Among the possibilities and choices that cross the formation of spaces and times meant as leisure, this group of women sought investing and engaging in a sportive practice that was considered serious, in which the jokes coexisted with the demands of the sports performance related to volleyball.

A sociedade atual passa por uma fase de transição entre o modelo moderno e o pósmoderno, criando um novo paradigma para o convívio social, o que acaba por se refletir no pensamento jurídico. Assim, o contrato, na condição de instrumento essencial para a realização das trocas econômicas e tutela de interesses jurídicos experimenta os reflexos dessas transformações sociais, o que acarreta modificações em sua formulação teórica e nos princípios que lhe servem de referência. Neste contexto a pós-modernidade impõe ao contrato a adoção de mega princípios, como o da função social e da boa-fé, além da necessidade de revisão dos seus postulados tradicionais, moldados agora sob a ótica dos valores constitucionais e buscando servir como meios adequados de enfrentamento da complexidade pós-moderna. / Society nowadays goes through a transition between the Modern and Post-Modern models raising a new paradigm for sociabilization which means interfering on the juridical belief. Thus the Contract, in the condition of essential instrument to fulfill all the economic trades as well as a tutor of juridical interests, experiences the reflextions of these transformations which leads in adaptations on it’s theoretical formulation and also in the principles that are being used as reference. In this context, Post-Modernity imposes to the Contract, the adoption of mega principles as Sociability and Good Will, above all, commands the necessity of reviewing all traditional postulates now moulded over the constitutional values and looks for fitting in as a proper way of facing the Post-Modern complexity.

Este estudo se propõe a analisar como ocorre o processo de organização do Global Shapers Porto Alegre, a partir da perspectiva do pensador Georg Simmel, considerando que o processo é estruturante e as formas de sociação são ao mesmo tempo parte do processo e suas cristalizações. Para tal, realizou-se uma pesquisa etnográfica. Os dados produzidos em campo foram analisados a partir das formas de sociação de Simmel, tomadas como abstrações para interpretá-los: A Sociabilidade, o Conflito, a Subordinação e Superordenação e o Estrangeiro. A forma de se organizar deste grupo salienta a busca dos indivíduos por expressarem-se. Ao mesmo tempo em que revela traços marcantes da tragédia da cultura moderna, descrita por Simmel, se aproxima ao método do Campo Aberto proposto por Robert Cooper. / This study aims to analyze how the Global Shapers Porto Alegre organizing process happens, from the perspective of Georg Simmel, considering that the process is structuring and that the forms of sociation are both part of the process and its crystallization. For this, an ethnographic research was carried out. The field data was analyzed using Simmel‟s forms of sociation, taken as abstractions to interpret them: Sociability, Conflict, Subordination and Superordination and The Stranger. The way this group organizes itself emphasizes the pursuit of individuals for expressing themselves. At the same time as it reveals strong features of the tragedy of modern culture, described by Simmel, it also approaches the Open Field method proposed by Robert Cooper.

Esse estudo, desenvolvido entre os anos de 2009 e 2011, buscou conhecer de que maneira se constrói a conjugalidade entre travestis e seus maridos. Sob uma perspectiva pedagógica investigou as tensões existentes entre o modelo heteronormativo de conjugalidade e esta outra forma de união. Na perspectiva dos Estudos Culturais a pesquisa propôs-se a compreender a aliança destes casais, a produção da masculinidade dos maridos e a sociabilidade vivida pelos pares. Essa investigação foi realizada em classes populares, e é do tipo qualitativo e etnográfico. Durante dois anos conviveu-se com os três casais que participaram do estudo. Foram feitas entrevistas, observações participantes e diários de campo. Foram utilizadas, também, narrativas e observações de outras duas pesquisas anteriores que contemplaram o mesmo campo. As entrevistas foram gravadas, transcritas e posteriormente analisadas a fim de observar os tensionamentos existentes na conjugalidade das travestis com seus maridos. A partir da análise de seus depoimentos, cotejados pela bibliografia de apoio, conclui-se que o modelo de conjugalidade e masculinidade hegemônicos tangencia a aliança entre a travesti e seu marido. A forma de união dos participantes do estudo apresenta ao mesmo tempo semelhanças e rupturas com este modelo. / This study done between the years 2009 and 2011 tried to know how to build the married between transvestites and their husbands. From a pedagogical perspective, it was investigated the tensions between the heteronormative model of married in this other form of union. From the perspective of Cultural Studies this research aimed to understand the alliance of these couples, the production of husband’s masculinity and couple’s sociability. This research was done in low income classes, is a qualitative and ethnographic study. For two years the three couples were listened and they answered interview. They also were observed. Stories and comments from two previous studies whith the same people were used. The interviews were recorded, transcribed and analyzed for to observe the tensions existing in the married of the transvestites and their husbands. From the analysis of the interviews, by supporting bibliography, it is concluded that the model of hegemonic masculinity and married is tangent to these couples. This form of married presents with that model similarities and ruptures.

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / The present study analyzes the relationships developed by the participatory practices and sociability encouraged and developed in the Recycling Cooperative of Autonomous Agents of Aracaju - CARE. It was considered the forms of collective action tried by the cooperative organization of workers on garbage according to the realization of a social demand for better living conditions and social-political engagement. The measures promoted by community mobilization, stimulated by the State Public Ministry of Sergipe, in 1999 resulted on the establishment of cooperative unit, benefiting former workers on trash at the Santa Maria district. During the examination of the preparation of the cooperative, two aspects must be regarded: the ideological aspect and decision making, enabling an analysis of the dynamic interaction and influence of interest between the political and social individuals involved in this cooperative. It is necessary to question that the elements that were setting the relationship between those involved in social space. Empirical evidence showed the existence of political and social individuals are related to this cooperative equipped with such power that influenced the action kept in social space, entered from the volume of symbolic capital, which stood out the picture of the representative of the Public Ministry. Beyond this operation, there is a production of interference in the course of the functionality of the cooperative which determines the articulation of the cooperative members of a same family to maintain these relationships of interest in social space. / O presente estudo tece uma análise sobre as relações desenvolvidas pelas práticas participativas e sociabilidades estimuladas e desenvolvidas na Cooperativa dos Agentes Autônomos de Reciclagem de Aracaju CARE. Considerou-se as formas de ação coletiva ensejadas pela organização coorporativa da classe de catadores de lixo em função da efetivação de uma demanda social por melhores condições de vida e de engajamento políticosocial. As medidas promovidas pela mobilização da comunidade, estimulada pelo Ministério Público Estadual de Sergipe, resultou na implantação da unidade cooperativa no ano de 1999, beneficiando ex-catadores da lixeira do bairro Santa Maria. Durante a implementação dessa cooperativa dois aspectos devem ser considerados: o ideológico e o decisório. Debruçar-se sobre estes aspectos possibilitou a análise das dinâmicas de interação e influências do interesse entre os atores políticos e sociais envolvidos nessa cooperativa. Neste sentido, problematizou-se os elementos que configuram a relação existente entre os agentes envolvidos nesse espaço social. Dados empíricos evidenciaram a existência de atores políticos e sociais ligados a essa cooperativa dotados de um poder que influencia as ações aí mantidas, inscritos a partir do volume de capital simbólico, no qual se destacou a figura do representante do MP. A partir da atuação do MP há uma produção de interferências no curso da funcionalidade da cooperativa, dentre elas a que determina a articulação de cooperados de uma mesma família para a manutenção de relações de interesses nesse espaço social.

Para tanto, buscamos, a partir de diálogos com interlocutoras privilegiadas: 1) construir as narrativas das histórias de conformação dos atuais espaços de consumo, lazer e sociabilidade GLS do Recife; 2) problematizar os acordos e tensões entre mercado, sociabilidade e agenciamentos políticos voltadas à população LGBT. Esta pesquisa partiu de uma abordagem psicossocial, na interface com estudos em gênero e sexualidade, à luz da perspectiva crítica feminista. Definimos como estratégia teórico-metodológica para produção de informações, a entrevista semiestruturada, compreendendo-a como práticas discursivas, em consonância com a perspectiva construcionista de produção do conhecimento. Portanto, realizamos as entrevistas com as interlocutoras privilegiadas dos espaços de sociabilidade estudados, definidas a partir dos critérios de tempo, convívio e responsabilidade em relação a esses lugares. Como resultados, construímos as narrativas de como surgiram os espaços de consumo, lazer e sociabilidade destinados à população LGBT que atualmente compõem o circuito GLS da cidade do Recife (Boate MKB, Clube Metrópole, Nosso Jeito Music, Castelo Marron, Confraria Ursos de Pernambuco, Conchittas Bar e Mix Pub). Em nossas análises, também abordamos os acordos e tensões entre mercado e sociabilidade, a partir de três eixos temáticos e seus respectivos tópicos analíticos, com a finalidade de compreender os sentidos coproduzidos sobre essas temáticas: Lazer e Sociabilidade (Motivação, Público e Práticas Sexuais), Mercado (Resistências, Localização, Concorrência, Aspectos Positivos e Negativos, e Legislação) e Agenciamentos políticos (Movimento LGBT e Parada da Diversidade). / The general objective of this study is to analyze the meanings produced about the agreements and disagreements between the market and sociability focused on at lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders (LGBT), taking as reference the recent forming trajectories of consumption, leisure and sociability spaces, wich are defined by the term GLS (gays, lesbian and sympathizers), located in Recife's downtown, Pernambuco. To this end, we seek to, in a dialogue with privileged interlocutors: 1) build the narrative of forming trajectories of current of consumption, leisure and sociability spaces of the GLS market; 2) discuss the agreements and disagreements between market, sociability and political agencies focused on LGBT people. This research is based on a psychosocial approach in dialogue with gender and sexuality studies in the light of critical feminist perspective. The semi-structured intervier was defined as the theoretical and methodological strategy for the production of information, understanding it as a discursive practice, in line with the constructionist perspective of knowledge production. Therefore, we conducted interviews with privileged interlocutors from sociability spaces where the study take place, chosen by the criterion of time, familiarity and responsability concerning these places. As a result, we construct narratives about how arose the consumption, leisure and sociability spaces for the LGBT people that currently make up the GLS market of Recife (Boate MKB, Clube Metrópole, Nosso Jeito Music, Castelo Marron, Confraria Ursos de Pernambuco, Conchittas Bar and Mix Pub). In our analysis, in order to understand the co-produced meanings about these issues, we discuss the agreements and disagreements between market and sociability based on three main themes and their analytical topics: Leisure and Sociability (Motivation, Public and Sexual Practices), Market (Resistences, Location, Competition, Positives and negatives aspects, and law) and Political Agencies (LGBT Movement, Diversity Pride Parade).

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / Tract in the following text, about an free fair in northeastern Brazil, the fair of Jacintinho in the analog name neighborhood in the city of Maceió, State of Alagoas, Brazil. Introducing, through an ethnography is present as an free fair of great importance to the city, which coincides with the origin of the neighborhood regarding your formation, through the relationships that enables, guided the research the notions of exchange (Mauss 1974, 2003; MALINOWSKI 1976, 1986), and sociability and interaction (Simmel, 2006), as factors present in plural and comprehensive environment, which is an free fair. Bringing here a survey about the origin of the practice as we conceive it today, apart from the first moments of interaction registered in the Brazil, as possible to be interpreted as an ever-present practice even if not formalized, institutionalized. And through the ethnography and their techniques, how to present the fair Jacintinho today, since it is a practice in constantly adapting for being a fluid social phenomenon in its characteristics, adequacies, and importance to people who make it happen. / Trataremos no texto a seguir, sobre uma feira livre no nordeste brasileiro, a feirinha do Jacintinho, no bairro de nome análogo na cidade de Maceió, Estado de Alagoas, Brasil. Apresentando, através de uma etnografia uma feira livre de grande importância para a cidade, em que se confunde com a origem do bairro em relação à sua formação, através das relações que esta possibilita, tendo como pontos norteadores e fatores presentes em seu ambiente plural e abrangente as noções de troca (MAUSS, 1974, 2003; MALINOWSKI, 1976, 1986), sociabilidade e interação (SIMMEL, 2006). Trazendo um levantamento sobre a origem da prática como a concebemos hoje, além dos primeiros momentos de interação registrados no Brasil, como possíveis de serem interpretados enquanto prática sempre presente, mesmo que não formalizada. O presente trabalho tratará a feirinha do Jacintinho hoje, já que esta é uma prática em constante adaptação por ser um fenômeno social fluído, em suas características, adequações, e importância para as pessoas que a fazem acontecer, através de alguns personagens deste evento de grande importância social.

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / The process of urbanization in Brazil has acquired a new face, inserted in the new world migratory pattern, from the increase of population shifts to the cities of medium size, such as the capital of the state of Sergipe. The highly qualified people migration has caught attention. Considering the recent spread of higher education and expressive number of teachers from other cities in the country and even from abroad, this work is a result of a research done with a restricted group of migrant teachers who works in the two major universities in the state. 220 questionnaires were submitted and 10 interviews were held with teachers from various places of the country and with different personal characteristics. The results showed that most teachers came attracted by the opportunity to work and, secondarily, for the welfare that the city still offers. The research also approached the move generated from the cultural shock produced by migration, resulting in different strategies of acculturation and feelings of greater or lesser adaptation to the local society. Ambivalent feelings of the social construction of the foreign person were found in confrontation with other values and cultural practices. In that aspect, we have found strange views proper of the category searched on the culture and sociability. / Inserido no novo padrão migratório mundial, o processo de urbanização no Brasil vem adquirindo nova configuração, a partir da intensificação dos deslocamentos populacionais para as cidades de porte médio, a exemplo da capital de Sergipe. Nesse contexto, tem chamado a atenção uma migração de perfil cada vez mais qualificado. Considerando a expansão recente do ensino superior e a expressiva representatividade de professores procedentes de outras localidades do país e mesmo do exterior, este trabalho resulta de pesquisa realizada com um grupo delimitado de professores migrantes que atuam nas duas principais universidades do estado. Foram aplicados 220 questionários e realizadas 10 entrevistas, com professores procedentes de diversas localidades do país e com características pessoais diferenciadas. Os resultados apontam que a maioria veio atraída por oportunidade de trabalho e, secundariamente, pela qualidade de vida que a cidade ainda oferece. A pesquisa versou também sobre aproximações e afastamentos gerados a partir do choque cultural produzido pela migração, resultando em estratégias diferenciadas de aculturação e sentimentos de maior ou menor adaptação à sociedade local. Foram constatados sentimentos ambivalentes próprios da construção social do estrangeiro , em confronto com outros valores e práticas culturais. Nesse aspecto, logrou-se ter encontrado estranhamentos muito próprios da categoria pesquisada relativos a cultura e sociabilidades.

Desde que as mulheres conquistaram o direito à alfabetização, muitas utilizaram da prática da escrita como um instrumento para se colocar no mundo e construir a si. Nesta dissertação é feita uma investigação histórica sobre os espaços de lazer e sociabilidade da elite pelotense, através dos diários íntimos de Clarice Tavares Xavier. Foram acessados os arquivos pessoais de Clarice e utilizado como fonte principal esse material datado entre os anos de 1954 a 1956. Clarice Tavares Xavier era uma jovem pertencente a uma tradicional família gaúcha que, através do seu olhar, descreve o seu cotidiano e as diferentes impressões que tinha sobre os lugares que frequentava na cidade de Pelotas. Em conjunto com fotografias e relatos orais busca-se compreender como as moças de elite circulavam nos espaços sociais que Clarice aponta em suas narrativas. O e1studo procurou analisar as sociabilidades e lazeres dos espaços privados, instituições educacionais, associações recreativas e locais públicos da cidade sob a perspectiva de um olhar feminino. Conclui-se, assim, que a imagem de si criada nos diários pessoais de Clarice Tavares Xavier pode ser entendida (e comparada), a partir do contexto social e dos espaços de lazer ocupados e usufruídos por essa mesma elite. A condição social e as regras estruturais de conduta e comportamento reservados às mulheres abastadas causa, portanto, impacto perceptível num modo de escrita que se pretende privado e particular. Acredita-se que a imagem pessoal cunhada nos diários é um caminho historiográfico importante para que se compreenda os espaços de lazer de elite, mas também como se forma uma dialética entre a expressão pessoal e as estruturas externas, típicas de um gênero e de uma classe específica. / Personal journals were constituted as standard modes of “writing about the self” concerning women. Since women acquired the right to be alphabetised, many of them utilised writing as a tool to place themselves in the world and to build their selfimage. In this dissertation, we will conduct a historical investigation about spaces of leisure and sociability through the personal journals of Clarice Tavares Xavier. By accessing the personal archives of Clarice Tavares Xavier, we were able to utilise, as our main source, her journals, dated from 1954 to 1956. Clarice Tavares Xavier was a young woman who stemmed from a tradition southern family and, through her look onto the world, described her daily life and the different impressions that she had concerning places she circulated in Pelotas. Together with photographs and oral testimonies, we tried to understand how young elite women circulated in social spaces which Clarice described in her narratives. Our research sought to analise the leisure and sociabilities within private spaces, educational institutions, recreational associations and public urban spaces under the perspective of a female look. We conclude, then, that the self-image created in the personal journals of Clarice Tavares Xavier can be understood (and compared to) in relation to the social context and leisure spaces that were occupied and enjoyed by the elite of Pelotas. The social condition and the structural rules of behaviour that were reserved to wealthy women caused, therefore, a considerable impact on a mode of writing that pretended itself private and particular. We believe that the personal image inscribed in journals is a satisfactory historiographical path through which we can understand, in this case, not only leisure spaces of the elite, but also how a dialectical relation is formed between personal expression and external structures – structures common to a specific gender and a specific class.
