[pt] DOS SALMOS À POESIA CONTEMPORÂNEA: O DEUS QUE FALA POR VERSOS / [en] FROM PSALMS TO CONTEMPORARY POETRY: THE GOD WHO SPEAKS IN VERSESLETICIA ALVES DUARTE DE SOUZA 21 December 2021 (has links)
apenas do saber científico.
teológicas e literárias acerca do assunto. Posteriormente, a poesia é apresentada
Desta maneira,
a poetisa mineira Adélia Prado é elegida como exemplo desse fazer poético e dessa
poesia apócrifa por onde Deus fala por versos. / [en] This research aims to present poetry as a way of speaking and experiencing
God, bringing a new perspective of theological doing and speaking, moving
towards a praxis that approaches the human and not just scientific knowledge. Since
Christianity is one of the three religions in the book, and since the Bible comprised
a vast literature gathered between two covers, poetry and poetic discourse are
present. Therefore, situated in the scope of theopoetics, this research begins by
dealing with the approximations between theology and literature, not using one
another as instruments, but dealing with theological and literary questions about the
subject. Subsequently, poetry is presented as a search for its definition, its history
and poetic revelation, leaving then for those who lead this poetry, the poets, and an
analysis between the poet and the theologian. That said, psalmitic poetry is
presented as canonical poetry, making a counterpoint to the apocryphal poetry that
ends this research. A poetry that is not in the Bible, but that has been announced by
poets for centuries. Thus, the poetess from Minas Gerais, Adélia Prado, is chosen
as an example of this poetic work and apocryphal poetry through which God speaks
in verses.

[pt] A PALAVRA INTEGRADORA: O MITO NA POESIA DE ORIDES FONTELA / [en] THE INTEGRATIVE WORD: THE PRESENCE OF MYTH IN ORIDES FONTELA POETRYALLAN ALVES DE SOUZA 17 June 2021 (has links)
[en] Orides Fontela (1940-1998) published five poetry books: Transposição (1969); Helianto (1973); Alba (1983); Rosácea (1986), and Teia (1996). She graduated in Philosophy from Universidade de São Paulo in 1972. The dense structure of oridian poems constructs, through dialogue with philosophy, one of the most fruitful characteristics of her production. Provided that, we intend to investigate a specific aspect of oridian poetry: the presence of myth. To do so, we will try to conceive about the recurrence of mythical themes that compose her work. In analysis of her Poesia Reunida (2015), we consider that such themes can be covered in four thematic complexes represented by the mythical figures of Aurora, Ananke, Kairós, and Eros. All those figures have a plural aspect in the western philosophical and cultural tradition. In the last chapter, we tried to explore her articles Sobre poesia e filosofia: um depoimento (2018) and Poética: uma – despretensiosa – minipoética (2019) searching the relations that her work establishes with the theories of myth by Roberto Calasso (absolute literature) and Ernst Cassirer (symbolic forms). Finally, in the attachments, we present a rare text about ethics and an unpublished poem found in her archives.

[en] USES OF THE VOICE IN BRAZILIAN POETRY: INCURSIONS INTO THE SUBCENA PROJECT / [pt] USOS DA VOZ NA POESIA BRASILEIRA: INCURSÕES NO PROJETO SUBCENATHADEU RABELO CECILIO DOS SANTOS 15 June 2021 (has links)
[en] This dissertation analyzes the evidence of the voice in Brazilian poetry (uses and expressions) through a set of presentations made by Subcena, a monthly event of poetry and performance, active for two consecutive years (2017-2019) and hosted at Audio Rebel studio, Rio de Janeiro. These performances were mainly aimed at sound experimentation, emissions of vibrational poetry, in which the construction of the poem is done together with the perception of the environment. The situations evidenced the act of poetry as a reading/invention of the self, in which body, voice, sound, and city are inserted in the sense of the poem and reconfigure themselves around it. The voice based on fictional dynamics takes upon itself the structure of the text and, at the same time, offers its natural and/or artificialized sound. In this game between scene and meeting, the poem is a communion that, present from body to body, becomes the activation of a creative flow resulting from coexistence.

[en] AN ANNOTATED TRANSLATION: COLLISIONS AND COLAPSES IN BEN LERNER S MEAN FREE PATH POETIC LANGUAGE / [pt] TRADUÇÃO COMENTADA: COLISÕES E QUEBRAS NA LINGUAGEM POÉTICA DE BEN LERNER EM MEAN FREE PATHMARIA CECILIA TOURINO BRANDI 31 January 2020 (has links)
[en] The thesis consists of an annotated translation of Mean Free Path (2010), the latest poetry book written by the contemporary American poet and novelist Ben Lerner. He creates a poetic language marked by collisions and fragmentations, with disruptions to the meanings from one line to another, lines out of order or recombined etc. These features triggered reflections on the translation choices, which are discussed in notes on specific lines. Theoretical concepts relevant to the study of poetry translation, which give translators an
active role, are intertwined with the notes. The author s poetic language is attuned to the way people communicate nowadays.

[en] TECHNE AND INSPIRATION ON PLATONIC ION / [pt] TÉCHNE E INSPIRAÇÃO NO ÍON PLATÔNICOKRISHNAMURTI JARESKI 31 July 2006 (has links)
e a rapsódia
anular
temporariamente as faculdades racionais do homem, rompe
parcialmente com as
tradicionais concepções de poesia da época. Do
Filosofia. / [en] The present Master s dissertation has two central concepts
as object of
investigation that support a discussion about the poetry
and rhapsody exposed by
Plato in his early dialogue, Ion: the concept of techne, a
pattern of comparison
which the philosopher uses to demonstrate that it is not
through art/ability that
the poet and the rhapsodist turn out to be capable of
talking about different
subjects; and the concept of poetical inspiration, which
disrupts in part the
traditional concepts of poetry at the time, as it sustains
the possibility of straight
connection with the Muses, a possibility which can stop
man´s rational faculties
temporarily. From the intertwine of these two ideas,
traits emerge concerning the
redirection of the rhapsodic activity and the new
understanding about poetry,
whose presence in his following dialogues attests its
programmatic nature and
points to the origin of Philosophy.

[en] FROM BODY TO WORD, FROM WORD TO BODY: REFLECTIONS ABOUT THE TRIAD EROTISM, MYSTIC AND POETRY / [pt] DO CORPO À PALAVRA, DA PALAVRA AO CORPO: ALGUMAS REFLEXÕES SOBRE O COMPLEXO EROTISMO, MÍSTICA E POESIACLEIDE MARIA DE OLIVEIRA 26 August 2005 (has links)
paixão quanto a mística
social e a transgressão dessas mesmas leis. Nosso estudo
buscou explorar as
pensamento mítico-religioso e a compreensão do caráter
primitivamente sagrado
no contexto batailliano.
sagrado e morte. / [en] The present study was constituted as an investigation of
possible intercessions
among the experiences given by the eroticism, mystic and
poetry, understood in
the Greek context of poiésis that extrapolates the limits
of the literary gender,
being characterized mainly as aesthetic experience of use
conscious of language.
The main theoretical approachly was given by Georges
Bataille s thought, for who
as much the love-passion as the religious mystic and poetry
are limits experiences
of otherlity that reveal the existence of a movement
dialectic (without synthesis)
among the injunctions that found the social body and the
transgression of those
same laws. Our study looked for explore the intercessions
among the eroticism`s
forms that Bataille analyzes - the eroticism of bodies, of
hearts and sacred -
and the poetry, that the author mentions as one Wednesday
forms of eroticism
without developing more necessary argument. Our hypothesis
is that it can be
applied to the poetry, or else all, some of the main
characteristics that Bataille
appears in the eroticism, defined for him as experience in
that the being puts in
subject. The reflection of the subjects proposed by
Bataille demanded that the
specificity`s of the religious experience were approached
in the contemporanity,
as well as the discussion of some concepts of the science
of the religion, as for
instance, a definition of sacred that it could not just be
applied to institutionalized
religious experiences, some reflections on the thought
mythical-religious person
and the understanding of the primitive character sacred of
language and of myth.
Starting from the understanding of the importance of the
myth for the thought
magic-religious person and of the verification that the
same is constituted the
appropriate language for communication with the instances
of the sacred, we
formulated the hypothesis the poetry to be interpreted, in
a society disenchanted as
ours, while continuity solution for the myth, being her
religious, in the sense in
that it proposes a jump outside of the limits of the
injunction towards the
psychic forces of the sacred, that understood in the
context batailliano. Intending
to clarify hypotheses and arguments, it was taken for a
case study the work of
the poet Adélia Prado, where they were pointed and
discussed the relationships
among eroticism, mystic, word poetic, sacred and death.

[en] FERNANDO PESSOA AND ORPHEU: MODERN MYTHS - REALITY GÊNESIS TROUGH POETRY / [pt] FERNANDO PESSOA E ORPHEU: MITOS DA MODERNIDADE - GÊNESE DO REAL ATRAVÉS DA POESIAEDUARDO JOSE PAZ FERREIRA BARRETO 20 October 2004 (has links)
[en] This dissertation intends to show that the author of Mensagem and the generation of artists who contributed for literary magazine Orpheu s publication, intended to create a new portuguese poetic universe, in order to give birth to the country s literary modernity. In order to accomplish that, they used, broadened and transcended concepts taken from the french poet Charles Baudelaire. From such concepts definitions, their use s range isdefined by Baudelaire s and Pessoa s points of view, and are used to sketch the definition on modern artist and, from him, the difference between modern and modernism. Finally, it discuss the importance of both on the portuguese scenario, while examining the beginning of the
century social-political-economic conditions in Portugal, critics reaction to the new aesthetics introduced in
Orpheu and the groups poetic project, always highlighting Fernando Pessoa s leading role in critics and in codifying the movement s theoretical bases.

[fr] NO MAN`S LANGUE: LA POÉSIE EN FUITE DE GHÉRASIM LUCA / [pt] NO MAN`S LANGUE: A POESIA EM FUGA DE GHÉRASIM LUCALAURA RABELO ERBER 22 September 2008 (has links)
[pt] Esta dissertação aborda a experiência poética de Gherasim
Luca (Bucareste
recitais. A dissertação
percepção sensível do
poema.
A leitura revela as
camada sonora do poema

[en] ESSAYS ON RAP AND SLAM POETRY IN CONTEMPORARY SÃO PAULO / [pt] ENSAIOS SOBRE O RAP E O SLAM NA SÃO PAULO CONTEMPORÂNEADANIELA SILVA DE FREITAS 17 August 2018 (has links)
[en] Essays on Rap and Slam Poetry in Contemporary São Paulo aims to analyze some of the transformations that have happened within the hip-hop movement in São Paulo in regards to the realm of the sung word or palavra cantada, namely rap and slam poetry, during the last twenty years - from the release of Racionais MC s Sobrevivendo no Inferno to the present moment. As the contemporary hip-hop scene in São Paulo is defined by its multiplicity, this dissertation is composed by separate essays that discuss and analyze different artistic productions. The respect for the fifth element of hip-hop culture - knowledge and its ideals of community-building, collectivity and citizenship - is what brings these productions together. Each of them deal with these matters differently, sometimes inside an independent circuit, other times fighting to occupy spaces within the mainstream. The works analyzed here, namely the work of rappers Racionais MC s, Criolo, Emicida, Karol Conka and Rico Dalasam as well as the poetry slam Slam Resistência, point to the strong interconnection between poetry and technique in São Paulo s hip-hop culture. These works want to be poiesis, in the sense that they want to produce not only poetry but also life. The thesis presented here is that such a poetic process entails the use of new languages and the creation of new logics and paths for the systems of production, reception, curatorship and promotion of art today.
