Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / O presente estudo abordou o Projeto Ético-Político do Serviço Social brasileiro, considerando o seu possível tensionamento no âmbito da política de assistência social, na região Centro Sul/Vale do Salgado no estado do Ceará. Portanto, através do nosso estudo, pretendeu-se analisar as possibilidades e os limites de materialização do Projeto Ético-Político Serviço Social brasileiro na política de assistência social, em tal região. Optamos por essa análise por considerarmos imprescindível apreender as tensões impostas a esse Projeto no cotidiano de trabalho profissional do (a) assistente social. E, para tanto, foi imprescindível analisarmos a atual configuração da assistência social, partindo das diretrizes da Política Nacional de Assistência Social e confrontando-as com o processo de municipalização desta política no campo pesquisado. Avaliamos a relevância do presente estudo em decorrência do atual processo de expansão e centralidade da política de assistência social, no cenário brasileiro, como estratégia de alívio à miséria e à pobreza. Tal movimento se realiza expressando um duplo movimento: a implementação do Sistema Único de Assistência Social e a prevalência dos Programas de Transferência de Renda. Esse contexto tem ampliado, sobremaneira, a requisição aos assistentes sociais, que vêm ocupando, majoritariamente, tais espaços sócio-ocupacionais. Entretanto, essa inserção tem se realizado sob condições e relações de trabalho precarizadas, o que pode implicar em uma possível intensificação do tensionamento do Projeto Ético-Político do Serviço Social brasileiro. A pesquisa foi realizada por meio de entrevistas com os (as) profissionais atuantes nos Centros de Referência da Assistência Social (CRASs) e Centros de Referência Especializado da Assistência Social (CREAs), em sete municípios da região selecionada como campo empírico. Os dados analisados também são resultados das visitas institucionais e observações de campo que realizamos no espaço sócio-ocupacional dos (as) profissionais entrevistados (as). A presente pesquisa está assentada no materialismo histórico e dialético, método de apreensão do real, originalmente elaborado por Marx. / This study addressed the Brazilian social services ethical and political project, considering its possible tensions in the ambit of the social assistances policy in the region of the Center South/Vale do Salgado in Ceará State. Therefore, through this study, we intended to analyze the possibilities and limitations of materializing the Brazilian social services ethical and political project in the ambit of policy for social assistance in that region. We chose that type of analyzes because we considerer indispensable to apprehend the tensions imposed on this project in the daily work routine of the social assistant professional. In order to do it, it was necessary that we analyzed the current configuration of the social assistance, starting from the National Policy for Social Assistances guidelines and confronting them with the municipalization process of this policy in the researched field. We assessed the relevance of this study due to the current process of expansion and centralization of social assistances policy in the Brazilian scenario as a strategy for reliving the misery and poverty. This movement is accomplished by expressing a double action: the implementation of the Social Assistance Single System and the predominance of the Income Transference Programs. This context has enlarged the request for social assistants that have been mostly occupying the social-occupational spaces. However, this insertion has been done under precarious conditions and work relations, which may result in a possible intensification of the tension in the Brazilian social services ethical and political project. The research was made through interviews with professionals that work in the Social Assistance Reference Centers and in the Specialized Social Assistance Reference Centers in seven cities of the region selected as an empirical camp. The data analyzed were also a result of institutional visits and field observation that we did in the social-occupational space of the interviewed professionals. This researched is based in the historical and dialectical materialism, a method of capturing the real, originally elaborated by Marx.

This thesis will try to seize the discussions about the categories that guide the ethical-political project of social service seeking the historical and theoretical determinants, analyzing how the introduction, from the ethical-political project of social service, a direction based on the critical perspective was seized and incorporated in the category in their academic and intellectual production. The present study focuses on the theoretical analysis of the production of social service researchers, and beyond, to discuss the ethical-political project and the categories that surround it, in the analysis of corporate and professional projects with José Paulo Netto, Marcelo Braz and Maria Beatriz Abramides, among others. Also will use additional sources which can support the understanding of the components that guide the ethicalpolitical project and its dimensions. The survey period runs from the first half of 2009 to the first half of 2010. / A presente dissertação apresenta o produto do curso de mestrado na Universidade Federal da Paraíba e está centrada na discussão do projeto ético-político da profissão de serviço social. Nesta dissertação procuraremos apreender as discussões a cerca das categorias que balizam o projeto ético-político do serviço social procurando os determinantes históricos e teóricos, analisando como a introdução, a partir do projeto ético-político do serviço social, de uma direção baseada na perspectiva critica foi apreendida e incorporada na categoria em sua produção acadêmica e intelectual. O presente estudo centra-se na analise teórica da produção de pesquisadores de serviço social, e para além deste, que discutam o projeto ético-político e as categorias que o circundam, na analise dos projetos societários e profissionais com José de Paulo Netto, Marcelo Braz e Maria Beatriz Abramides, entre outros. Utilizaremos ainda fontes adicionais as quais possam subsidiar a compreensão dos componentes que norteiam o projeto ético-político e suas dimensões. O período da pesquisa vai do primeiro semestre de 2009 ao primeiro semestre de 2010.

Visando a garantia da oferta de atenção integral e de qualidade à saúde da população brasileira, a enfermagem tem se articulado em ações coletivas para construir novas práticas de saúde e de formação de profissionais. Busca-se uma formação calcada em competências crítico-emancipatórias, assegurando que os princípios e as estratégias do SUS sejam norteadores fundamentais dessa construção. A realidade da formação tem sido a ênfase no saber-saber e no saber-fazer em detrimento, muitas vezes, do saber-ser. Este estudo partiu do pressuposto de que o desenvolvimento da dimensão do saber-ser ético-profissional na formação contribui para uma prática profissional vinculada a valores ético-políticos e de justiça social. Assim, buscou-se investigar como a formação da dimensão do saber-ser ético-profissional do técnico em enfermagem é desenvolvida na escola. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de abordagem etnográfica, na perspectiva teórica do materialismo histórico e dialético que reconhece os processos educacionais como parte integrante de formações sociais historicamente determinadas. Os dados foram coletados a partir da observação direta do cotidiano de uma escola técnica de saúde, dos seus documentos e de entrevistas com o corpo técnico. Os resultados explicitaram as concepções que as docentes têm sobre o saber-ser ético-profissional e como elas foram aplicadas na construção dos processos formativos, tanto no que se refere ao currículo como na prática docente. O principal dado é de que não há um processo educativo sistematizado sobre a dimensão do saber-ser ético-profissional, tampouco o currículo explicita os conteúdos em valores e atitudes. Concluiu-se que a dimensão do saber-ser ético-profissional, apesar de sempre presente na prática profissional, nem sempre é abordada nos processos de formação tradicionalmente baseados na racionalidade científica. Isto se dá tanto pela herança de uma formação tradicional, como pela falta de clareza do que significa e como deve ser feita a formação dessa dimensão / In order to guarantee integral attention and quality to the health care of the Brazilian population, nursing professionals have been working on collective actions with a view to implementing new health care practices and formation of new professionals in this area. The objective is the achievement of a formation which is based on critical-emancipating competencies and make it sure that its construction is essentially oriented and based upon SUS principles and strategies. The reality of the formation of professionals in the field of nursing has always been focused on the know-how-to-know and the know-how-to-do to the detriment of the know-how-to-be. This study is based on the presupposition that the development of a ethical-professional know-how-to-be dimension of the nursing formation contributes to a professional practice that leads to ethical-political and social justice values. Therefore, investigation was focused on how the ethical-professional know-how-to-be dimension is developed in the nursing technical course. This is an ethnographic-approach-based research which theoretical perspective tends to the dialectic and historic materialism, in which educational processes are understood as integrating parts of social historically determined formations. Data were collected based on direct observation of a technical health care school daily routine, as well as from the school documents and by interviewing the school technical body. Results have shown how the school teaching body sees the ethical-professional know-how-to-be and how it was applied in the implementation of the formative processes, either to the school curriculum and to the school teaching body practice. The main data is that there is no educational systematized process on the dimension of the ethical-professional know-how-to-be in the school, and also the curriculum does not detail its content as to values and attitudes. It is then concluded that this dimension, despite being often present in the professional practice, is not always approached in the processes of formation which are traditionally based on the scientific rationality. This happens either on account of a traditional formation heritage, as well as on account of a lack of a clear understanding of this dimension and how the formation of such dimension should be brought about

Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, exploratório, de natureza histórico-social e ético-legal, desenvolvido a partir da análise documental como parte do método histórico. As bases de dados nacionais e internacionais pesquisadas foram CINAHL, LILACS, MEDLINE, PeriEnf e PubMed, com os descritores: enfermagem, atendimento pré-hospitalar e aspectos ético-legais, publicados nos últimos 10 anos. O método histórico estuda os fatos sociais e suas relações, a partir de documentos, surgidos de fontes, contextos e momentos distintos, e envolve a reconstrução do conhecimento e novas interpretações dos fatos. A escassez de literatura específica, sobre os aspectos ético-legais no atendimento pré-hospitalar (APH) e a inserção do enfermeiro nesta modalidade de serviço, motivou a realização deste estudo. Igualmente, a experiência profissional como enfermeiro e a vivência de situações críticas no Grupo de Resgate e Atendimento de Urgências (GRAU - RESGATE 193), despertaram o interesse pelo tema e as bases para a incursão no campo do Direito. Com este estudo pretendeu-se fazer um resgate histórico do surgimento do APH e a inserção do enfermeiro com os objetivos de levantar a legislação e as funções do enfermeiro no atendimento pré-hospitalar; identificar os desafios éticos e legais do enfermeiro no exercício profissional nesse atendimento; e, traçar o tipo de enfermeiro profissional necessário para o atendimento pré-hospitalar / This is a descriptive, exploratory study of historical-social and ethical-legal nature, developed through a documentary analysis as part of the historical method. National and international data basis were searched at CINAHL, LILACS, MEDLINE, PeriEnf e PubMed utilizing the following descriptors: nursing, pre-hospital care, and ethical-legal aspects, published in the last ten years. The historical method studies social facts and its relations, from documents found in sources, contexts and distinct moments, and involve the knowledge reconstruction and new interpretation of facts. Lack of specific literature on ethical-legal aspects within pre-hospital care and the nurse´s insertion into this kind of service, has motivated this study. Also, the professional experience as nurse and having lived critical situations within the Rescue Group for Urgent Care (GRAU-Resgate 193), has created the interest on the theme and the basis for this into the Law field. This study aimed at making an historical rescue about the emergence of pre-hospital care and the nurse´s insertion in it with the objectives: to survey the legislation and the nurses´ functions in this service; to identify the nurses´ ethical and legal challenges at professional practice; and, to outline the kind of nurse needed for pre-hospital care

O caminho teórico metodológico utilizado consiste em pesquisa bibliográfica a partir de referenciais teóricos vinculados a tradição marxista que abordam e articulam as temáticas acerca dos fundamentos do Serviço Social, exercício profissional e o Projeto Ético-Político, e pesquisa qualitativa a partir de entrevistas com 16 assistentes sociais que exercem a profissão em 05 (cinco) dos 09 (nove) CRAS’s do município de Juiz de Fora/MG. A exposição e organização da pesquisa está composta em três capítulos. O capítulo I realiza um retrospecto das bases sócio-históricas do Serviço Social e sua vinculação com o Projeto Ético-Político; o capítulo II aborda o exercício profissional do assistente social, as suas dimensões constitutivas e as implicações para o agir profissional que se desenvolve e materializa na esfera do cotidiano, bem como as possibilidades de suspensão temporária da cotidianidade que corroboram para a efetivação do Projeto Ético-Político. No capítulo III é realizada a apresentação e análise dos dados obtidos a partir da pesquisa de campo. O resultado desta pesquisa nos possibilitou compreender os limites, desafios e possibilidades presentes no exercício profissional para a efetivação do Projeto Ético-Político da profissão. / The purpose of this dissertation was to analyze the professional practice of social workers in the Centers of Reference in Social Assistance (CRAS) of the city of Juiz de Fora / MG, as well as to know the possibilities of making the Ethical-Political Project in the professional routine. The theoretical methodological approach used consists of a bibliographical research based on theoretical references linked to the Marxist tradition that approach and articulate the themes about the foundations of Social Work, professional practice and the Ethical-Political Project, and qualitative research, with interviews with 16 social workers who practice the profession in 05 (five) of the 09 (nine) CRAS's of the municipality of Juiz de Fora / MG. The exhibition and organization of the research is composed of three chapters. Chapter I presents a retrospective of the socio-historical bases of Social Service and its connection with the Ethical-Political Project; Chapter II deals with the professional practice of the social worker, its constitutive dimensions and the implications for the professional activity that develops and materializes in the sphere of everyday life, as well as the possibilities of temporary suspension of daily ife that corroborate for the implementation of the Ethical- Political. Chapter III presents and analyzes the data obtained from the field research. The result of this research allowed us to understand the limits, challenges and possibilities present in the professional exercise for the implementation of the Ethical- Political Project of the profession.

En el Perú en los últimos años, han salido a la luz una serie de casos, ligados a comportamientos faltos de ética en diversas entidades estatales, y que son los líderes de las organizaciones quienes influyen en el compromiso organizacional y la satisfacción de sus empleados. Considerando lo anterior, resultó interesante probar la influencia del liderazgo ético en el compromiso organizacional y la satisfacción laboral en una entidad pública del sector energético en Lima Metropolitana, con el cual se buscó sumar evidencia relacionada a la psicología del sector público, donde actualmente no se cuenta con mucha información al respecto. Para ello, se revisó, entre otros, conceptos relacionados a la Teoría cognitiva social y la satisfacción laboral, Liderazgo Ético, el Compromiso Organizacional Tridimensional de Meyer y Allen, así como la consulta de diversos estudios relacionados con las variables de estudio. Además, se efectuó un análisis estadístico descriptivo para caracterizar la muestra, encuestándose a 262 individuos de la entidad pública. Luego, se determinaron los indicadores de consistencia de cada uno de los constructos para establecer el nivel de fiabilidad de la encuesta, y, por último; se desarrollaron regresiones lineales y múltiples para identificar la relación de explicación entre las variables estudiadas. El resultado de la investigación muestra que el Liderazgo Ético tiene una influencia directa con el Compromiso Organizacional; no obstante, la explicación que tuvo con la Satisfacción Laboral fue no significante. Asimismo, el Compromiso Organizacional si es explicada por la Satisfacción Laboral. / During the last years in Perú, a number of cases have come to light, related to unethical behavior in various public entities, and that it is the leaders of the organizations who influence the organizational commitment and satisfaction of their employees. Taking this into account, it turned out interesting to test the influence of ethical leadership on organizational commitment and job satisfaction in a public entity of energy sector in Metropolitan Lima, through which it was sought to add evidence related to the psychology of public sector, where currently there is not relevant information about it. To that end, concepts related to social cognitive theory and job satisfaction, ethical leadership, Mayer and Allen’s tridimensional organizational commitment were reviewed, as well as several studies related to those variables. Besides that, a descriptive statistical analysis was carried out to characterize the sample, surveying 262 individuals from the mentioned public entity. Afterwards, consistency indicators of each of the constructs were determined to establish the level of survey’s reliability; and lastly, linear and multiple regressions were developed to identify the explanatory relationship among the studied variables. The research result shows that ethical leadership has a direct influence on organizational commitment; however, the explanation it had on job satisfaction was not significant. Likewise, organizational commitment is explained by job satisfaction. / Trabajo de investigación

Esta pesquisa de doutoramento em Educação na Universidade de São Paulo (USP)/ Brasil teve financiamento CAPES, 2011/2012/2013 e FAPESP 2013/2014/2015. Trata-se de uma investigação acerca do trabalho sobre si (GURDJIEFF, 1990, 1993, 2002, 2003; OUSPENSKY, 1995, 2009; Shah apud VARELLA, 2009; STANISLAVSKI, 1977; TOPORKOV, 1991, GROTOWSKI,1997; BROOK, 1997, 2000) na formação inicial de educadores por meio da dramatização de contos filosóficos (CARRIÈRE, 2004, 2008) com o mitema (DURAND, 1988) iniciático (ELIADE, 2004, 2010; GUSDORF, 2003). A pesquisadora teve a oportunidade de pôr em prática suas propostas por meio da condução de estágios no núcleo de dramatização de contos do Lab_Arte - laboratório experimental de arte-educação e cultura- FE- USP. Os principais eixos metodológicos da pesquisa foram:1) a parte empírica da pesquisa: dramatização de contos filosóficos com mitema iniciático junto aos educadores em formação inicial; 2) o diálogo entre a parte empírica e seus registros com o referencial teórico hermenêutico-fenomenológico (RICOEUR, 1988, 2006, 2013) da mitohermenêutica (ORTIZ-OSÉS, 2003; FERREIRA-SANTOS, 2005; FERREIRA-SANTOS & ALMEIDA, 2012). A tese se apresenta, respectivamente, com dois níveis narrativos: um primeiro nível com as experiências e um segundo nível com as leituras decorrentes do trabalho de investigação, ambos entrecruzados pelos contos filosóficos de forma metalinguística. Acompanha ainda um vídeo-poesia encartado em DVD com registro audiovisual da experiência. / This doctoral research in Education at the University of São Paulo (USP) / Brazil had CAPES funding, 2011/2012/2013 and FAPESP 2013/2014/2015. This is a research about the work on yoursef (GURDJIEFF, 1990, 1993, 2002, 2003; OUSPENSKY 1995, 2009; Shah apud VARELLA, 2009; STANISLAVSKI, 1977; TOPORKOV, 1991, GROTOWSKI, 1997; BROOK, 1997 2000) in the initial training of educators by means of the dramatization of philosophical tales (CARRIÈRE, 2004, 2008) with the initiatic (ELIADE, 2004, 2010; GUSDORF, 2003) mytheme (DURAND, 1988). The researcher had the opportunity to put in place its proposals by the means the leading of the internships at the core of dramatization of tales at the Lab_Arte- experimental laboratory of art education and culture- FE- USP. The main methodological axes of the research were: 1) the empirical part of the research: dramatization of philosophical tales with initiatic mytheme together educators in initial training; 2) the dialogue between the empirical part and their records with the theoretical framework of the hermeneutic-phenomenological (RICOEUR, 1988, 2006, 2013) of mythe-hermeneutic (ORTIZ-OSÉS, 2003; FERREIRA-SANTOS, 2005; FERREIRA-SANTOS & ALMEIDA, 2012). The thesis is presented, respectively, with two narrative levels: the first level with the experiences and a second level with readings arising from the research work, both of crisscrossed by philosophical tales of metalinguistic form. It aimed to evidence the challenges and possibilities brought to Social Work in the search of the effectiveness of its Ethical- Political Project (PEPP), which is articulated with the commitment to strengthen National Policy for Social Assistance. The changing world of work is contextualized in order to comprehend the working process in which Social Work operates as a profession entered into socio-technical division of labor, highlighting that this suffers the inflections of the socio-historical context, of the production and reproduction of social mechanisms. With the productive restructuring process and the State Reform, there has been an aggravation of the social issue experienced in new sociooccupational spaces. Therefore, the study on the materializing the PEPP involves making critical reflection of changes in the working world for the profession and tune into the most decisive struggles of the working class, that pass for decent working conditions and expansion of rights with a view the extension of social protection with emancipatory perspective. / A presente dissertação tem como objeto de estudo a materialização do Projeto Ético- Político-Profissional do Serviço Social (PEPP) tanto em sua dimensão ontológica, quanto em sua operacionalização e ação estratégica o trabalho da(os) profissionais assistentes sociais no âmbito do CRAS no município de Goiânia GO. Procurou-se evidenciar os desafios e as possibilidades postas ao Serviço Social na busca da efetivação de seu Projeto-Ético-Político (PEPP), o qual está articulado ao compromisso de fortalecer a Política Nacional de Assistência Social. Portanto, o estudo sobre a materialização do PEPP do Serviço Social implica fazer reflexão crítica das transformações do mundo do trabalho para a profissão sintonizar com às lutas mais determinantes da classe trabalhadora, que perpassam por condições digna de trabalho e expansão dos direitos, na perspectiva da ampliação da proteção social com perspectiva emancipatória. A materialização do PEPP do Serviço Social estabelece o desafio de consolidar estratégias de efetivação de ações articuladas e uma direção social ético-política, que indica que o caminho que a categoria profissional sintonize com a garantia da assistência social como política social pública e universal.

Entretanto, os atos de desonestidade também estão presentes no dia a dia das relações entre empresas privadas com funcionários que estão em cargos que possuem o poder de tomada de decisão. Dificilmente uma pessoa não tenha conhecido um colega de trabalho que já tenha alterado relatórios, ocultado informações no seu trabalho ou inflado despesas de viagem e tenha se considerado extremamente moral. Com o intuito de investigar o comportamento antiético, este trabalho focou na relação entre o agente de compras e fornecedor organizacional, por entender que o agente de compras possui em sua rotina de trabalho oportunidade de ter um benefício financeiro pessoal em detrimento a empresa. Essa dissertação testou a influência do ambiente transgressor na tomada de decisão de ética, o emprego do priming ético como um estímulo capaz de engajar a tomada de decisão ética e o padrão moral do indivíduo como forma de influenciar o efeito do priming ético. Foram desenvolvidos três estudos experimentais em laboratório. O resultado prova que o ambiente transgressor influência sobre a tomada de decisão ética e que o priming ético estimula o indivíduo a tomar decisões éticas. O resultado desse trabalho contribui fortemente para área de Comportamento Ético e Comportamento Operacional, encorajando as organizações ao uso do priming Ético, além de códigos de éticas e sanções. / The disclosure of acts of corruption, bribery and fraud involving politicians and the government has become frequent. However, acts of dishonesty are also present in day-to-day relations among private companies with employees who hold positions having decision-making power. Hardly ever would one find a person who has not known coworkers who had already altered reports, hidden information at work or inflated travel expenses and even so considered themselves extremely moral. Aiming at investigating unethical behavior, this study focused on the relationship between organizational buyer and supplier, given the fact it understands that the organizational buyer has an opportunity in his/her work routine to have personal financial benefit to the detriment of the company. This dissertation tested the influence of the transgressive environment on ethical decision-making, the use of ethical priming as a stimulus capable of engaging ethical decision-making, and the individual moral standards as a way of influencing the ethical priming effect. Three experimental studies were developed. Result proves that a transgressive environment influences ethical decision-making and that ethical priming encourages the individual to make ethical decisions. Our findings strongly contribute to the areas of Ethical Behavior and Operational Behavior, encouraging organizations to use ethical priming, as well as codes of ethics and sanctions.

The object of this study is the objective and subjective settings in the process of maintaining religious belonging in the context of the everyday life demands of people affiliated to Umbanda in São Paulo. In order to know about this reality members of an Umbanda temple in the Barra Funda neighborhood of São Paulo were interviewed. This urban space was crucial to answer questions about the Umbanda community in the city, still operating in the field of studies of populations of African traditionalism in Brazil, regarding the history of black people in the neighborhood and in São Paulo city. The life histories of 4 adults identified as umbandistas and with a variety intra-religious and non-religious life trajectory were analyzed. The analysis of the interviews revealed four meaningful cores of the experience of being affiliated to Umbanda: the territory of encounter, the religious belonging, the maintenance of belonging, and the overcoming of resentment and inaction. The mediating analysis category of the life stories was the affection. It was chosen because it has been the motivational basis of the action of the subject and it condenses the subjective determinations of their social condition. The reference authors about affection are Espinosa, Vygotsky and Sawaia. The results of this study reveal that the umbandist subject, within everyday modernity, still lives situations of perverse inclusion, suffering with the ethical-political bias that surrounds this religion, which is objectified in the way of feeling and acting on reality itself. The historical aspects of Bantu African traditionalism that still remain in the dynamics of this religion it is a dimension of the Umbanda that favors life force, unlike other religions, because it does not alienate their practitioners in a transcendental power, inhibiting reflection and keeping them in the hope for miracles. Instead, extraordinary events occur in terms of its power to transform the ordinary life of these subjects, but the changes that are produced are not magical, they rely on rational thought and action of people in their set of subjective and objective conditions configured in good or bad encounters / Este trabalho parte da concepção de que apesar de haver na atualidade um incentivo à diversidade humana e à pluralidade religiosa, ainda existem manifestações excludentes em relação a muitas delas. O seu objeto de estudo são as configurações objetivas e subjetivas do processo de manutenção da pertença religiosa em convivência com as demandas da vida cotidiana de pessoas filiadas a Umbanda na cidade de São Paulo. O espaço urbano foi determinante para atender o questionamento sobre a comunidade umbandista paulistana, ainda em exploração no campo dos estudos das populações de tradicionalidades africanas no Brasil, no que se refere ao histórico da população negra paulistana no bairro e na cidade. Foram entrevistados integrantes de um templo de Umbanda situado no bairro da Barra Funda da referida cidade. Foram analisados os históricos de vida de 4 adultos identificados como umbandistas e com trajetória de vida intra-religiosa e extra-religiosa diversas. A análise das entrevistas revelou 4 núcleos de sentido da experiência de ser filiado á umbanda: o território de encontro, a pertença religiosa, a manutenção da pertença e a superação do ressentimento e da inação. A categoria mediadora da análise das histórias de vida foi a afetividade, escolhida por ser a base motivacional da ação do sujeito e por condensar as determinações subjetivas da sua condição social. Os autores de referencia do enfoque da afetividade são Espinosa, Vigotski e Sawaia. Os resultados desse estudo revelam que o sujeito umbandista, no cotidiano da modernidade, ainda vive situações de inclusão perversa, sofrimento ético-político pelo preconceito que ronda esta religião, o que se objetiva na forma de sentir e agir sobre a própria realidade. Os aspectos históricos de tradicionalidade africana Bantu que ainda permanecem na dinâmica da religião é uma dimensão da umbanda que favorece a força de vida, pois não os aliena em um poder transcendental, inibindo a reflexão e os mantendo na esperança de milagres. Ao contrário, ocorrem eventos extraordinários em termos de sua potência de transformação da vida ordinária desses sujeitos, mas as mudanças que são produzidas não são mágicas, dependem da reflexão e ação racional das pessoas no conjunto de suas condições subjetivas e objetivas configuradas nos bons ou maus encontros
